Rules:
1) Cubs must stay in Likno (we are not unreasonable if a plot comes up that you really feel passionate about please talk to Seaki and I first)
2) Please no mean or evil characters, this is a very loving pride and very loving parents.
3) You can enter for more than one but can only win one.
4) We reserve the right to not choose winners if we feel like none of the entries are a match.
5) It may have taken me forever to get this set up so these cubs are already adols.
6) Please make sure you understand this pride. It is a harem based pride but its focus is entirely on creating strong family units, not males (or females) collecting others as a status symbol. Many lions are in polyamorous relationships that include same sex relationship as well as multi sex relationships. If any part of this makes you uncomfortable please refrain from entering.

~The Family~


These cubs are members of the royal Harem. Headed by Na'ila. The other members of the harem are Na'ila's mates Nearachi and Thálassa (the cubs bio mom). These cubs will be raised in this family unit. Na'ila, Nearachi and Thálassa are all equal parents.

Mom 1: Na`ila played by Velveteen Angel: Na'ila is the monarch of the pride.



Dad: Nearachi played by Velveteen Angel: Nearachi is a guard in the pride.




Mom 2: Thálassa played by Seaki: Thálassa is the cubs biological mom. An artisan in the pride.




Bio Dad: Batu played by nessiaing: Batu and Thala shared a great friendship and he sired the cubs. He moved on though to his new home. He does not know about the cubs. The cubs however would be aware that they weren't sired by Nearachi.




Brother: Vesi played by nessiaing: Eldest in the litter.

Personality: She is a very strong earthy personality, proud of her family and her pride. She is gutsy and bold. If anyone ever critisied her lifestyle she would set them straight with a verbal attack much like a mother scolding her cubs.
Future Plans: She will become friends with Sasha, a shy and reclusive male who has never found a fmily of his own. While the pair aren't romantically involved (Sasha is gay) they do form a close family unit with Avani acting as Sasha's older sister and best friend. She will eventually find another male to add to their harem who will love Sasha as much as she does. She also meets and falls in love with Amaya Thorhuios, a soldier in the pride and daughter of Mahewa and Thor. The three would form the begining of a harem.

Anything Else: Avani will likely conceive cubs with Sasha, as she is one of the very few females that he feels comfortable enough with.
Sasha and Amaya are my only two Likno members right now.

Personality: Kind and compassionate, Toka would seem, at first glance, the type to be quiet and meek. He's not. While he'll happily talk about peace and loving one another, he believes in comeuppance. He will gladly fight a bully and yell them down to help another, and then turn around and help the bullied up. While most would think this means he would take on a job like guard or constable, he prefers to be a monk.
Future Plans: Because he finds qualities about every gender he likes, Toka will seek out a multi-gender harem within the pride. He has no plans to leave, and will happily promote the idea of finding one's ideal harem.
Anything Else: Toka is not the dominant type, but he's also not submissive. He'd be more aptly described as "Somewhere in the middle."

Personality: Bomul could be described as watchful. She keeps an eye on everybody, taking in what they do. While one would think she's simply a lion watcher, she's actually looking for any trouble that might pop up. She's a bit of a tattle-tail, to the point where she probably has few casual friends. Any friends she has are, very likely, incredibly close friends, since others may think she'll rat them out on literally everything. She's only looking out to make sure nobody does something dangerous or stupid, though. Really, she has everybody's best interest at heart when she snitches.
Future Plans: While she's got no plans to leave the pride to find another, she may wander a little and come back home with tiny company. This will prompt her to find a partner to start a harem with, as she's going to realize she's in way over her head. Gender won't matter.
Anything Else: Bomul swears she saw a lion once who could pick his nose with his tongue. He left when he realized she was watching, though, mumbling something about finding a god or goddess.

Personality: Zahra likes to think she's graceful and deadly, trying to sneak up on her siblings any opportunity she has. The truth is, though, that she's anything but either one of those, at present. She's prone to distraction, having trouble focusing on things, and when she CAN focus, she gets too focused to the exclusion of everything else. She has a habit of pawing the ground with her right forepaw, though she's often unaware she's doing it.
Future Plans: She's going to stay in the pride, and may not take any mates for a while. She's not sure of who or what she likes, only that she has no plans to leave her birth pride beyond wandering to do a little spy work.
Anything Else: Zahra wanted to be a guard when she grew up, but she found she lacked the focus to do so. Being ar too easily distracted, she realized she was better-suited to a job that would allow her to multi-task without endangering the pride.

Personality: From the moment he opened his eyes, everyone knew that Kabambe would be a force to be reckoned with. He loved stuff. Especially new stuff, new stuff was his favorite. He would trail after Thalassa whenever she got her paws on some new treats from the merchants she worked with. Some thought he might become an artisan like his mother, but Kabambe decided that he would instead become a merchant to discover all sorts of rarities that others had to offer him. He has sense become a collector of sorts, in the way that he wants to experience everything new and will go to extremes to bargain away his the majority of his hoard in order to discover something he hasn't yet.
Future Plans: I want him to become a collector of novelties and rare items. I want him to turn into a savvy merchant, one that others can look up to. He can hold his own when it comes to basic survival and trade, but he's the sort that will throw away everything to get at his true passion. So, if you have a shell all the way from the Bahari'moto pride that he wants, you can be sure he'll barter away everything in his collection to get that single shell.

Personality: There is one thing in Chaleur's life that comes before everything else: food. Honestly, this girl thinks about little else than eating, what she is eating, where it came from, and how to make it better. (Think Remmy from Ratatouille.) She is a curious, experimental sort. Creative is what her parents called it and so, she decided to become an Artisan.
Future Plans: To engage others in her "cooking" shenanigans. Her food will always be her first love, but if she can find others with a similar mindset, she may consider making a harem, though I find it more plausible that she'll just stick in the singles harem until someone decides to take in this lovable oddball,

Personality: As sixth born out of eight, it was pretty close to "Middle Child", but she never felt any lack of love or attention in her strange, wonderful family. She is a bundle of joy and affection, with love to share and go around. As a cub, she dotes on her younger siblings, and on the younger cubs of older litters, as an adult, she'll be eager to start a family of her own, happy to stay within her pride.
Future Plans: Motherhood and wonderful loving mates are her goal. She's grown up seeing the affection between the adults in her pride and has spent her life loving the younger generations and her younger siblings, and she can't wait to have that for herself. I see her being the type of female that would readily take in lost or homeless cubs, or anything else small for that matter.
Anything Else: Being the loving, nurturing type that she is, I imagine she'd likely take up a rank like healer, so she may spend some time in Nil'Nocere.

Future Rank: Merchant, would aspire to Guild Master of the Merchant's Guild
Personality: Varric is charming, sweet as can be to his friends, and crafty. He's good when it comes to trade, whether it's trade of goods, or information. You need to know something, Varric is usually your guy. He's smart, and though he's pretty aloof, he cares deeply. Sometimes, too deeply, and he ends up getting hurt. But that's the kind of cool cat he is, heart on his sleeve sort of guy with the best intentions and genuine concern for the well being of the pride, his friends and family, and maybe even the world. He might not strike you as the religious type, but he believes in a higher power. Just don't expect him to be open about it.
Future Plans: He'd like to settle down and have cubs someday sure, but he wants to build up a career that can support a family. He wants to climb into a Higher class position and give his kids something meaningful, and more than anything, he wants to make his family proud of him, even though he'd never admit it.
Anything Else: Varric is loosely based off of a character that I'm super fond of, and I just couldn't help myself after I saw he was orange, and merchant was an available career option.

Personality: Brusque, a bit frigid, and all around brutish, Rhia is a sturdy cub with a tom-boyish demeanor as a child that grows into a bullheaded, butch sort of attitude as an adult. She's a bit abrasive, not great with words sometimes, but she's a capable fighter, and a good leader. She believes in justice and in righteousness. She has a soft spot for females, and she's known to butt heads with males and nitpick authority. Most of the time she's well intending, and she loves her family to death. She has a limited interest in males or cubs, but theres a tiny voice in the back of her head that whispers, "I want somebody to love". Especially when she's around her parents and sees how they interact.
Future Plans: She will spend most of her life as a constable, but if there was ever a major plot development where there was an impending battle, she would make an effort at becoming a soldier.
Anything Else: She is surprisingly pacifistic as an adult, compared to her defensive, rowdy, younger years when she aggressively tried to prove herself. If she can solve a problem without violence she'd do so gladly.

Future Rank: Merchant -> Guild Master (flexibility dependent on advice of family)
Personality: As the first born female of the royal harem, Naya takes great pride in her family and her responsibility to continue their pride's traditions. She is incredibly loyal to pride and family as well as proud of all that her family has accomplished. While she won't quite understand as a cub, she will question her father's disappearance and likely spend some time asking each member of her family why he did not stay and join them. This mild curiosity will slowly develop into a fervent mission to lead through example and recruit others to share in love and build their community.

Future Plans: While perhaps over-ambitious for a cub, Naya will work toward obtaining the highest ranking possible in the position best suited for her skills. She will spend a great deal of time with Na'ila in the hopes of learning crucial life skills and pridal history. I want to leave some flexibility in her ultimate rank because much of the advice given to her by Na'ila, Nearachi and Thalassa will be factored into her decision. She is very likely to work closely with the artisans (due to her mother's profession), but I see her working as a merchant due to her charming nature and desire to travel and recruit additional members. In either case, she will continue to challenge herself in the hopes of proving worthy of taking the mantle of Guild Master.

Outside her desire to prove herself is the excitement of a young girl whose biggest wish is to find every part of her heart. Even as a cub, she will take every relationship very seriously, while considering compatibility for when it is time for her to set out on her own and build her own harem. She does have a very strong personality herself and could gladly fit into the position of monarch (or follow someone who she admires and cares for).

Personality: From the moment her paws hit the ground, Masati yearned to move. Whether it was fidgeting when she was supposed to be sitting still or dancing her way through a hunt, this girl never stagnates. While initially something of an annoyance, as she grows from cub to adolescent, this nervous energy will refine itself into a fluid, consistent rhythm that is apparent in everything she does.

This does mean that she had no chance as an artisan, no matter how much she loves seeing what they can create - crafts are not kind to jittery paws. It also means that she has no intention to settle, preferring to consider each of her relationships carefully before indulging further. These considerations would be done intently, with all of her heart; she puts a lot of faith in choices made from the heart, from instinct, which can lend itself to some unconventional decisions. After all, if her heart is powerful enough to move her body, it must also hold some sway over her mind.

Future Plans: Her mind moves with the same ever-flowing grace as her body, which means that she comes to certain conclusions sooner than others. That quick wit, coupled with a love of listening to and engaging with others, means that she will pursue monkhood as she grows older. Her thoughts on faith have yet to be determined, but she would love to share her clarity of mind with those who need it, and enjoy offering her warmth and counsel to her pridemates in need.

I imagine she would learn the interpersonal skills and responsibility needed for her future profession from time spent with Na'ila and Nearachi respectively. She would happily seek out Thálassa as well, if only to see what marvels her mother was making that day.

Anything Else: Purposely leaving any rank beyond monk flexible. I'm also not one-hundred percent sure how her own harem/flings/love situation would work out, since she would be a monk, but I also figure that kind of thing would work out organically as her character grows.
