Earthling Breeding Rules
General
This thread covers breeding rules as well as directions on how to apply for breedings once your character(s) are ready.
Although there are obviously intimate moments between characters during their relationships...That does not mean you need to always RP it out. Remember Gaia TOS; keep things PG-13.
Below are general rules for breeding in Tendaji, and the additional posts cover specific situations including single parent breedings, same-race breedings, and hybrid breedings. Make sure to read all rules carefully before you submit your forms! And if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact Suhuba.
|| Earthlings may breed once they reach Stage 2.
|| An Earthling may breed up to 2 times; however a single Earthling may only breed with an NPC once.
|| In order to receive offspring, an Earthling must complete a few relationship building RPs.
|| Children born will have a trait mix of their parent(s).
|| For an additional payment outside of the base payment, parents can select unique traits for their child. The trait options are listed below.
|| Since there is no co-owning, owners may decide who will own which child.
|| Two new, special stages will accompany your bundles of joy.
|| Breeding will not be hindered by character slots, but please visit our character slot thread for how breedings will effect character availability.
|| Owners can only participate in one breeding at a time. The youngling must be dropped for the breeding to be considered closed and an owner able to start a new one.
Additional Earthling Breeding Stages
Pregnant Mommy(Playable Characters Only)
Glowing and beautiful, this Earthling woman is preparing for the most important role of her life, becoming a mother. She will soon be a first-hand participant in the miracle of life and a proud contributor to the continuation of her Tribe.

Youngling
These young, adorable, vulnerable creatures must be diligently cared for. Young and innocent, Earthling children attend school and learn about their world during this stage, but they must stay close to their homes, lest something terrible befall them in this hostile world.

Earthling x Earthling Breeding Rules

Normal Breedings:
|| Breeding requires 3 RPs.
|| The first two should be completed before applying for breeding. The first should be developing their relationship, and the second should include the talk of children, and/or the situation involved in having children.
|| The last RP must be started after applying for breeding and should involve finding out the news that they are expecting. This RP must be completed before the results of breeding will be dropped.
|| When the initial form is posted, Suhuba will either approve the form or contact the parents further. Once approval is given the owners are ready to begin the last required RP (and then eventually post the final breeding form).
Trait Options
|| Standard breedings are totally random. The artist in charge of the breeding is able to choose everything about the babies from gender to skin color to hairstyle, etc.
|| For an additional 50mil, parents may choose up to three traits for each of their children:

OR
|| For an additional 50mil, parents may choose to have nearly identical twins.
xxxxWhat this means is the babies from the breeding will have all of the same traits except for one minor trait (like crystal color, eye color, ear shape, etc.).
xxxxOwners will not be able to choose any of the traits, artists will get 100% full reign over what the babies will look like, but they are guaranteed to look nearly identical.
xxxxThis does not include hairstyle, Hairstyles will vary per baby.

Earthling x NPC Breeding Rules
|| The NPC cannot be a hybrid.
|| The NPC must be the same race as the character applying for breeding. This means if your character is a leaf earthling, their NPC must also be a leaf earthling. If your character is a hybrid, for example shifter and leaf, the NPC must be either shifter OR leaf.
|| NPC Breeding requires an initial application, 2 solos before applying for breeding, and 1 solo after applying.
|| The Initial Application should be completed first! It can be either PMed to the mule or posted in this thread.
|| After the Application is accepted, the first two solos should be completed and then used in the Initial Breeding form. These solos must include building a relationship with the NPC, then the talk of children or the situation involved in having children. Both must be 1k words +
|| The third should be a solo finding out about the news. This solo must be completed before the results of breeding will be dropped.
|| When the application form is posted, Suhuba will either approve the form or contact the parents further. Once approval is given, the second form can be worked on and completed in which Suhuba will quote the owner with another approval. After this, the owner is ready to begin the last required solo (and then eventually post the final breeding form).
|| An Earthling may only breed with an NPC once!
|| For an Earthling to breed with an NPC, a sum of 100mil must be sent to Suhuba.
|| ONE Earthling will be produced. Their gender will be decided randomly.
|| For an additional 20mil, parents may choose up to two traits for their child

Custom Traits
|| To help you determine the type of traits you can select from the parents, if you wish to do so, we have provided the accepted traits in a list below.
|| Each of these traits count as a single option, so if you wish to make multiple combinations of the below traits, please plan accordingly. (A great rule of thumb is to think of it like this: one color is one trait, one shape is one trait, etc)
|| If you have any questions, please contact Suhuba prior to submitting your breeding form.
|| Please note: some traits are meant to be used in conjunction with other traits! For example, in order to use “Add Second Crystal Color” you need to have used one trait to choose a first color. So asking for mixed crystal colors is two traits: parent A crystal color, and parent B crystal color.
|| Picking Marking Type (Matori markings) means they will have both underbelly and speckling. (There are also trait options to pick just speckling or just underbelly.)
|| Regardless of traits chosen, characters can only have one marking type.

|| More traits to be added as needed. Please be sure to read this entire post in regards to traits! Breedings will not be approved if traits do not meet our trait requirements!
Please note that by not picking or including a trait, it does not mean they will not be part of the child. It just means the artist has the choice to add or subtract that trait when creating your children! |
