Aspirations/Personality/Bio

Aspirations: Her biggest dream is to meet a pure blood Yealin, Just so she is able to see if their eyes actually glow. That's her only big dream at the moment.

Personality:

~Curious: whenever she meets someone new, no matter what they are like, She'll try to ask them a million questions and learn all she can or to see if the facts she has learned are true or not from certain tribes.

~Gullible: Whenever she asks questions to people she believes their answers no matter if they are lies or the truth. She believes that The Mitori's evolve into bird people and that The Oben's are crispy due to them being the fire tribe. She believes all of the lies she's been told.

~Absentminded: She on occasion she forgets that she has the crystals on her. Whenever she asks people a lot of questions after and while she asks the same questions a couple of times. Sometimes she is able to catch herself when she does that and she stands there for a moment trying to remember what one's she's asked. She also has a bad habit of losing things, be it a book, a sandwich, her place in line, She can even lose track of where she is or where she's going which she normally gets lost due to, Though she would love to actually travel instead of getting lost. She can lose almost anything.

Bio:

When she was about three her mother had to put her into an orphanage in Tale because she wasn't able to support Lilif and herself. After about a year Vindus and Eldin came to the Orphanage, which at that point was in quite bad shape. They looked around and found that Lilif was the only one there that was old enough to be adopted so they took her home.

As Lilif got to the age of four her and her fathers went into a town and she skipped while holding the two's hands. With the diversity of the family they got some dirty looks which made one of her fathers, Eldin, Very mad. He didn't like the fact that the people thought that it was wrong. Her other father, Vindus, Ended up taking the two home before Eldin was able to do anything more than threatening them.

Lilif's home

Her home that she lives in with her family is in Sauti, near the town of Tinerr. They made their home out side of the town so that they could go and get supplies if they need it but not too close to have to deal with people. When they have to go get some things normally Vindus and Eldin but on occasion they let Lilif tag along for the ride.

Family

Vindus, Father 1: A soft spoken Wind Scholar that acts more like a mother than a father towards lilif. He's not very outgoing. He found Eldin lying limp in a ditch. Originally it was Vindus's Idea to adopt a child but He let Eldin choose what tribe they should be from, so Eldin chose leaf. After that they decided that they were only going to adopt the one kid because Lilif was almost too much to handle.

Eldin, Father 2: A loud and proud Oben Sentinel. He is more grumpy and protective over his family, not as much over Araki though. If it were up to him he would throw Araki into a lake and walk away but Vindus keeps telling him that he would like to keep her brother alive. When he first met Vindus he didn't think that highly of him because of where he was from, But after a while he grew to love him. He has massive, deep seated fears of bugs from when he was a small child. When it comes to Lilif, He's wrapped around her finger and he would do anything for her.

Araki, (stupid) Uncle: A loud and obnoxious Wind Soul linker. The reason he and Eldin don't get along is because he was very protective over his brother, Vindus, So he Stuffed Eldin's sleeping bag full of big bugs while he's asleep. He Babysat Lilif while Eldin and Vindus were away and Taught her some things that would help her if she ever left home.

Lilif, Her: She's a happy and curious Leaf girl. Her parents adopted her when she was around the age of three. Her parents might be out there somewhere but she knows Vindus and Eldin as her only parents. She refers to Vindus as "Mom", To Eldin as "Dad", And to Araki as "Idiot", She learned that one from her dad though Vindus tells her to Call Araki Uncle or Araki. Her biggest dream is to meet a pure blood Yealin, Just so she is able to see if their eyes actually glow

Wind Side


Kinalith, Grandpa: Vindus's father is a happy go lucky Wind Bandit. He's the kind of grandparent that spoils his grandkids. Whenever Lilif has a birthday they always go to his home and they all celebrate. He kind of disapproved when he found out that his younger son got with an Oben man. After a while he came to call Eldin family and flamey boy.

Vivian, Grandma: Vindus's Mother is a calm and quiet wind Soul linker. She always made small toys and clothes for lilif when she was younger. She loves it when ever Lilif comes over to her home. She's the one that started lilif's love of rocks with stories about how rocks represent people. When she found out about Eldin she instantly approved of him. She had to convince her husband to approve of him.

Vinel, Aunt: Lilif's wind aunt that has been absent from her life due to her job being that of a haired arm. She wishes that she was able to see Lilif more often but because of what she does and who she's hired by she normally doesn't have any free time. By the time she was able to get even the slightest amount of free time Lilif was already old enough to travel and to get lost as well. Thinking that she wouldn't be able to have a good relationship with her only niece hurts her deeply but she never says anything because she wants her to spend her time doing what she wants to do instead of hanging out with her aunt that she barely knows.

Gazin, Cousin: Lilif's much younger cousin, around the age of nine or so. He can get quite loud and obnoxious when he's around his family, especially Lilif, but whenever he is around someone that he is unfamiliar with he gets very shy and hides behind his family members until he gets to know the person. Gazin is a small shifter boy that Vinel found when he was around the age of two years old. He sees Lilif as more of a big sister then he would a cousin as he grew up around her due to him living with their grandparents a lot and how Lilif would visit a lot with her parents. Gazin and Lilif have a lot in common like how neither of them were born into the family, they were brought into the family.

Bythean, Grandma: The mother of Eldin and the grandmother of Lilif. She was a dancer, in her younger years before she grew older and had a few kids. She took care of her kids, keeping them happy and healthy as her Ex-husband went out with his rich friends to spend their hard earned money. As her and her Ex grew apart she grew closer to one of the Matori Bards that worked for the family. Nowadays she still lives with the Matori man she married after she split from her previous husband.

Maranien, (Water) Grandpa: He is now a minstrel that still lives with Bythean in her home with their daughter. He was first hired when he was just a Prentice when Bythean found him alone and by himself. He was brought into her home and taken care of and given a job to do, entertain them. He was taught by her how to play the harp as best she could which wasn't exactly first class training due to the fact that she wasn't a bard but instead a dancer. He took care of her other kids with her help until they moved out.

Earthlings: Leaf

This race of long, pointy-eared people has developed a chiefdom level society in Tale, Tendaji’s Savanna. The men and women of the Leaf Tribe possess pale, sand-colored skin and large eyes that come in various shades of green. Pink crystals can be found glittering on their stomach, face, and shoulder blades. Like most Earthlings, the people of the Leaf Tribe stand shorter than the Alkidike and have evolved in such a way as to blend in with their surroundings.

Although Tale is composed primarily of dirt and sand, large, strangely twisted blue, green, and yellow trees can be found here and there, growing abundantly in small clusters. Within these tiny forests, the Leaf Earthlings have made their home.

The Leaf Tribe has created a network of roofed platforms within their trees as well as on the ground. The simple homes are protective during the warm, rainy winters and open during the dry, hot summers, allowing what little breeze there is to pass through. Although the tribe hunts on occasion, their main nutrients come from the strange, liquid-filled bulbs found throughout the Savanna.

Life in Tale can be trying and rough. As a result, this race has developed a profoundly deep, unwavering respect for the land on which they live. They are not always accepting of the occasional visitors who make it to their home. Strangers threaten their way of life and the precious resources that maintain their livelihood.

Religion: The Leaf Tribe is a very spiritual people. They believe themselves to be connected to and a part of the earth, in so much that the earth feeds them, clothes them, shelters them, and when they die, becomes their home. As such, their respect for the land that provides for them is deep and uncompromising. To them, everything that comes from the earth has some sort of spiritual quality. As the earth protects them, so should they protect it.
The Leaf Tribe's religion is very similar to animism. They do not have names for their gods, but believe everything in nature to be filled with a spirit.

Government: These Earthlings are part of a Chief/Shaman tribe. Since, in Tale, the clusters of trees in which the Leaf Tribe lives can be rather far-spread, each individual settlement has a primary Chief who also functions as their Spiritual Leader. It is a hard environment in which to live and so, while the different sections of the Leaf Tribe work flawlessly together, they do not take kindly to strangers infringing upon their land.
