] John Doe looked at Sato as the other stayed silent now and then. He rubbed the back of his neck. This was getting awkward again. Did he say something wrong again? Or....was something else bothering Sato? He wasn't sure but even if it wasn't him...something was bothering Sato based on the ear drooping. He blinked a bit and frowned a bit.

"No offense Sato but that sounds kinda strange to me. I doubt horses are idiots like people can be. Horses wouldn't pity you or think you harmless. You said yourself they are majestic and gentle beasts that scare some people and get scared easy. So it unlikely they care about your size or whether your a bunny or defenseless....they just know that your a good person and not going hurt them. I mean...I would trust you before I trusted any of the people we passed on the way here. It has nothing to do with your size or you being anything other than a cool dude....your just one of those trustworthy genuinely nice people."

Falling silent and rubbing the back of his neck. Then the side of his arm. Least that is what he had seen, observed and noticed. Sato was one of the strongest dudes he knew and a genuinely good person. Just like Jason was. They both were good people and he didn't see them as defenseless or needing pity. Then again...his thoughts or views probably didn't hold much grain of salt or sand considering he was a blank slate outside of Jason memories and memories of sato that some were a little hazy. Following silently as he continued to walk beside Sato once they reached the stables. Flushing for a second and looked around.

"I'm not sure...right now I just want to see them. The ones you talked about. I don't even know if I know how to ride a horse. Do you think I should?"

He asked of Sato as he looked around. Wondering what Sato was listening for. He looked back to Sato. Least the others ears were standing up again. They were much cuter when they weren't drooping against the others hair. He heard neighing noises and a clomp sound of a hoof hitting the ground and looked utterly baffled.

"You're definitely one of those rare honest people" Sato started and thought Jason to be one of them too. He looked to John, "If you feel ready to do it then give the class a try" he advised. Headed towards the holding pins and the field that horses would be allowed to roam at. "The light brown horse over is Butterscotch" he pointed to the horse he was talking about. The mare seems to be doing well from what he see from a distance.

] John Doe blinked a bit. Wondering if that was true. Was he a rare honest person? He thought about it. In the memories he had that revolved around Jason for the most part. He seemed to be a mix of what Sato said and...contrary? Regardless he was happy to hear that his friend Sato thought positively of him and it brought a smile to his lips. As well as helped him shake off thoughts, pondering, and the rising headache that came from his trying to remember. He couldn't remember and it was best he didn't try to force it too much. That annoying nurse woman had reiterated that part numerous times.

"I'm glad you think such a positive thing about me. Especially since you and Jason seem to know more about me than I do. Who I was before and after the incident. I'm happy...thank you Sato. You're a great friend. Jason isn't the only one lucky enough to have you for a friend....I am too."

He said softly as he looked at Sato as he smiled happily. Running a hand through his hair and looked a bit uncomfortable. It was quickly gone. Anytime he was reminded of classes he had this nagging sensation that never bore any fruitation even a tiny bit. It almost felt like...it was wrong. Wrong for him to be taking classes. Going to classes? No. that wasn't it either. It was something different than that. It felt...off? Eh...maybe that was just because he was limited in anything other than the Jason and Sato, relationship and everything revolving around it with Jason, type memories. Shaking it off and walked over to the horse with Sato.

"I will try it with you. Check out the horses. Learn to care for them. Baby steps....is that alright with you? You can teach me what you know about horses. Like Butterscotch...beautiful creature."

He said with a smile and a questioning tone. Hoping that Sato would be alright with that. The horse was as magnificent, large and beautiful a creature as Sato said they were.

Sato looked up at the tall male and hearing the thank you and see the smile on the other's face made him feel good on the inside. "Seriously though, I only know about you from what I hear about. I know as much as any other classmate, pretty much less than what it seems. We'd encountered each other a couple of times before the stuff happened" he said feeling like he should point that out. He looked out towards the fields and sighed, "If I'm such a great friend than why have so many people abandon me or did bad things to me" he thought grimacing.
"If you and Jason ever need to talk privately or alone time just give me a signal like a gesture or through words. Don't want to intrude on anything on two's relationship or hear something I shouldn't because of my hearing" he tells him looking down. Felt like a third wheel while at the cafeteria until Jason had left and had to mess with his twice during that time. Convince he would be in the way if something serious or romantic happened nearby.
"Its alright. I know some of the grooming process" he said giving his best smile.

] John Doe looked down at Sato and then to the animal. He smiled seeing the smile on Sato's face. It was a warm feeling to see that smile there. As if he did something good. It wasn't the same as the warm feelings he got from Jason. It was different yet just as nice. He looked at the beast before him. He looked back at what the horse. Listening to what Sato was saying to him. Is that so? Only a couple times....he wondered to himself. Maybe Sato was just one of those rare people who was able to be a good friend even if you barely knew each other? Or one of those people you meet and just know your going to be good friends? He wasn't sure but the more he listened to Sato the more he realized he didn't really know much. It was just so easy to connect to Sato. He bet Jason felt that way too.

"You are just a naturally good friend then."

He said as he reached out and started gently stroking the horses muzzle. Lightly and gently as he blinked. Looking to Sato when he spoke a bit. Tilting his head to the side. Then straightened up his head again and blinked a bit. Hearing? His eyes moved to the others ears again. Right...bunny ears. Ears that likely heard better than anyone else. What was that supposed to mean though? Intrude on his and Jason's relationship...wasn't that what his coming out of a coma had done for Sato and Jason's life? He looked back at the horse and rubbed its muzzle again.

"Its soft....and your never intruding or in the way. Jason wants you there. I want you there. If anyone is intruding Sato...its me. For not staying in a coma."

He turned his gaze to look Sato in the eyes and smiled lightly. He continued to rub the horses muzzle. Then stopped. Reaching out gently and ruffled Sato's hair. Giving him a full mouth and bright smile.

"You are part of that relationship. I want you there. Jason wants you there. You are part of that. We're all part of each others life. Though if we're going to have sex I'm sure we can all come up with some kind of code phrase or something."

He removed his hand and moved it back to the horse. Rubbing his face against the magnificent creatures muzzle lightly. He had just learned he really liked horses. He really liked Sato. He was in love with Jason. Horses were soft. He smiled more and looked happy. Standing tall and then looked at Sato before he asked softly then grinned more.

"One step at a time...nobody is a third wheel. Everyone belongs there. We all need each other...we're like a family that way aren't we? Can you teach me what you know about the grooming process then?"

"Nah, I just have plenty of practice while attending this school. You and Jason is all that remain out of all the connections I've made with people" Sato said dismissing the possibility of being a natural good friend. He was pleased the other is doing well with interacting with a horse. Also hopes they won't get in trouble for being out here so early before the first class of the day.
"I think things would have stayed as they are. When we listened to the doctor's message last night, we both decided we wanted to help you way before we knew it was you. You're important to him no matter what and to me too" he said blushing a little about the last thing he did.
Didn't look away when the older male was looking him in the eyes. Looked up towards the hand that was ruffling his hair for a few seconds then back to the other's face. The action itself didn't surprise because Jason tended to ruffle his hair every once in a while. Fixed his hair like always when that happens, but not right away because John looked so happy. Blushed feverishly at the mention of the word 'sex', blurred images of exploit stuff poking up in his mind.
"Like a balance..huh and I've never been part of a real family so I wouldn't know" he said with a downward gaze. He nods, "Yeah, I can do that" he said smiling his mood back up once more. "Follow me to where it happens" he said and led the way to the grooming/washing area for horses.

John Doe just silently listened to Sato as he spoke. Plenty of practice while attending this school? He and Jason were the only remaining connections Sato had previously made with people? Out of all the people this school likely held? What...were people idiots? Were they blind? Sato's answers...while informative also served to rise more questions to replace the questions that had been answered previously. Not that any of this showed. The constant thoughts and questions being replaced by other questions when answered (with limited exclusions) was likely going to be a somewhat long term thing.

Staying silent and listening as he glanced now and then to the other. He didn't say anything as he rubbed his face against the horse's muzzle and forehead. His hand by this point had already returned to resting at his side. Currently draped over his waist to rest on the opposing him. The hand by the horse's face hadn't moved. He didn't respond after burying his face against the horses. A long silence would follow that moment before he backed up more. Listening to the response Sato said at the end. Patting the horse on the muzzle one last time before he looked at Sato. One of the things he knew for certain was connected to him, Jason, and their deep bond on many levels.

"My only real family type network is, and was, my relationship with Jason. Now it includes you too. I don't know what a real family is...outside that it must be what you, me and Jason now have by our own making through events and stuff...or something like that.."

He spoke before running a hand through his ginger locks. Looking around as they walked again. Laughing as he soon was just shrugging and silently walked with Sato to find where they were going.

"Maybe my role is being the person they can to talk to about their problems. Do things older male would be embarrassed to do later on. Someone to look after them both" Sato thought as he approached the grooming station. "So is where it happens. The teach had me practice on him of the different brushes used on a horse" he explained. "There a was bucket that they were in and...guess its harder for me to explain after all if I'm not doing it for real" he said the sighed heavily and rubs the back of his head.

John Doe looked at Sato and wondered what he was thinking. He couldn't get a read on him. He was also starting to feel a little dizzy. He guessed it was one of those normal side effects of waking from a coma after all these months. From what he heard he had a number done on his body that had led to that trauma. He couldn't recall that night. That incident. Or even what they were saying happened....he didn't have that memory. He looked at the grooming station and stared at everything. Used them on the teacher? His eyes looked right to Sato questioningly when he said the teacher had him use the brushes on him. He said nothing and listened to him. Shaking his head a bit.

"No its fine. The teacher had you practice with the brushes on him??? For real? Why? Like in his hair? Is that even sanitary? How does that even work? Using the brushes on the teacher for practice?"

He asked in a shocked and stunned tone. How could that provide practice? His hand went to his head as his vision blurred for a second. Moving to sit on a crate nearby as he rubbed his temples. It was going to pass in a minute. He just needed to sit for a moment.

Sato could understand why the other was asking these questions because he hadn't mentioned the race of the previous teacher. "The previous teacher is a centaur that could change into a humanoid form at will. Had me practice on the horse half of him so when the method is applied to a horse less chance of upsetting" he explained. "A different brush for a different part of the body and used a certain way" he added.
"Maybe I should let him rest for a bit. We have done a lot of walking today" he thought after watching him sit down on a crate. "Hey, do you think its possible..." he pauses looking away before finishes his question, "That I could, um...be in a romantic relationship someday with someone?". He thought since it was possible for Jason and John then maybe it could happen for him too.

John Doe listened to what Sato was saying and smiled at him warmly. Titling his head to the side as his mind was pulsing a bit. He stayed quiet and tried to picture this previous teacher. The centaur who could turn into humanoid form at will. He slowly managed to create the image. Taking one of the horses and slowly adding a human body. Removing the top of the animal body. Slowly trying to picture this before he lost the image. He nodded his head to show he was listening as the other explained.

Looking up curiously when Sato started talking. Tilting his head to the side as he waited to find out what the other was going to say. Smiling brightly at the others question. Nodding his head emphatically even as he spoke.

"Yes. Yes I do. I believe that you can and will have a romantic relationship with someone someday. You are a great and wonderful person. Just like Jason. You will definitely have that with someone some day. You'll find someone whose worthy of you. I'm sure of it...I know it...because you are a truly good person. Jason would agree I'm sure."

He said honestly and energetically. Smiling up at the other and then looked around. He took in the other again and was sure that Sato would have someone. That someday he would have a romantic relationship with someone. Someone who was everything to Sato like Jason was everything to him. More than life itself. For Jason he wanted to be better. He couldn't remember what he was trying to be better from but he just knew that like he with Jason...Sato would someday find his...."Jason". He wanted to go be with Jason. Yet he couldn't move...too tired.

Sato tilt his head in the same direction as John while listening to him speaking. "Jason would probably have used similar as him" he thought. "Like yang and ying or soul mates or opposite attracts, right?" he asked. He shakes his head a little and frowning, "Don't think someday will come along before my time in the country is over and being dead not long after" he said laying out the bad news. "After this class is over with I will escort you to the gym where Jason teaches at then I have to go take care of a couple errands on my own. I will meet you both back at the house" he informs him calmly.

John Doe rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. His head lifted and looked at Sato as his free hand was now scratching his cheek in a bashful or sheepish way. He wasn't sure he made any sense. Let alone if the other words made Sato feel any better. The cute bunny boy was tilting his head to the side in the same direction of him. That made him smile as the only thoughts he had right then was that was cute. People can really do that? Without realizing that he too had just moments prior done the exact same things. Listening to Sato and nodded his head after a moment or two.

"Yes. Something like that. No matter what though...you'll always have me and Jason who care about you Sato. You always going to be part of our family."

He stated after a few moments. His hands lowered and his features froze as the others words kicked in. Wait...what? His eyes widened and he lowered his hands. Frowning a bit and looked worried. Did Jason know about this? He wondered. He paled a bit. Frowning a bit and listened to him speaking. He looked sad. Why was Sato having to leave? Why would he be dead right afterwards. He looked up at Sato and nodded his head silently. He understood. He blinked a bit. Looking worried and sad for Sato.

"Why Sato? Why are you having to leave and only to die? I don't think Jason would like that either."

He said honestly and worriedly. He merely nodded after that though. He would go with what Sato wanted. Sato knew best right now. He was pretty worried about his friend though. Both his friend and his boyfriend. Jason would be devastated if anything happened to Sato.
