[Gwarredd is a guard here - waiting on cert.]
The pair had encountered their first wall. Anju had started a family, without him, some would say but he didn't look at it that way. Instead he had embraced the life of a Father and instead hoped for their future. This future included the family they had together and perhaps cubs of their own? The thought had always been with him, though he wouldn't admit to most anyone else. Before she had broke the news to him that he was going to be a Father he never even thought of it, considered the possibility - nothing. There was no reason at that point, they didn't have a steady home or much of a future, just each other. Most would consider that enough, but he knew what it was like to grow up without structure. His Mother had provided well enough, but she couldn't provide it all.
"Home."
The word seemed almost foreign when he had first said it upon arriving here, but each day he felt better about it. The black leopard stood and walked from their home, leaving behind an empty den. Anju, he presumed, was already up and about. He was late to starting his guardly duties, but he had had a long night. Even now he hadn't gotten much sleep, things were always on his mind. Some days had been better than others. Today was actually a decent day.
Soon he was taking himself to a common path, seeking out his beloved.
