Ever since I got invited to Xmas by Neil's mom, I've been thinking about this. |
Cuz they're genetically Jewish and sometimes celebrate Hanukkah, but other years Xmas cuz they're all athiest anyhow, LOL. |

As for trying to determine how much fabric I'll need...
The amount of light blue and dark blue is the same. Essentially six "diamonds" worth, or twelve 12" equilateral triangles.
If I find a pattern that's bolt is 36", I could get five triangles out of each row, so I'd need at least 31.5" (aka a yard would be safe). If I find a pattern that's bolt is 48", I could get seven triangles out of each row, so I'd need at least 21" (aka half a yard would be safe).

57 dark gold triangles 57 light gold triangles 138 dark blue triangles (18 of those are "halves") 138 light blue triangles (18 of those are "halves")
