Why in the heck do we have two forms of waste disposal in our bodies? Urine and feces? Like, that's just damn inefficient if you ask me.

I'd guess there's some evolutionary reason. Some animals like birds and lizards do have "one big hole." But we're not cold-blooded animals like reptiles that don't go every day, and we're not animals like birds that cover a lot of ground and can poop a whole bunch without it causing a mess.
Also, a lot of birds have fast metabolisms and dehydrate easily. The whole point of the large intestine is for the body to re-absorb as much water as possible from your digestive tract, so I'd guess it would cause issues if you added already-filtered urine into the mix. Not saying bird's don't have large intestines or anything - just that our metabolisms are way different.
OMG I'm giving this too much thought.
