:: A huge transport/cargo ship called the Andromeda is sailing through the sea carrying passengers who are hitching a ride to the next port. Once they get there, they'll all go their separate ways toward whatever they're all doing.

The ship has a fancy section for first class passengers and another section for the cheaper/lower class, and down below is a big section for cargo and a big section for livestock. Among the livestock is a black Akhal-Teke stallion that bites anyone who gets close enough. He's accompanied by a full set of Turkmenistan tack, something you don't see every day (unless you're in Turkmenistan). It's a bit fancier and more exotic than a standard English or western set, including the silver neck bands that go around his swan-like neck. It's equipped with many saddle bags and shows a bit of wear, for this horse is used for travel not for showing. Akhal-Tekes are unusual, rare horses with a very light build and sleek loins, big shoulders and no mane. Black horses fade in the sunlight, but this one shimmers with the deepest darkest hues of shadow within shadow, because, in fact, he has never been in the sunlight, not for may, many years...



He has no markings, but bears a freeze-brand on his left hip, which has turned his hair white in the shape of a bird with wings outstretched. To be very specific, it is the silhouette of an owl--- a Great Grey Owl.



The horse's pale-skinned master is a doctor in the First Class section who wears a grey three-piece suit and a gold wedding band. He has an ivory long-barrelled pistol on a belt at his right thigh; the charm dangling from the end of it is a little silver owl. He has glasses and a ponytail, with streaks of silver through his light tan hair. He doesn't speak to anyone unless he must. When he does, his English is broken with a foreign accent. He's quite polite, but very brief, erring away from casual conversation. He looks 29-30 years old, stands 6'4" but with a very slender physique, and smokes expensive cigarettes quietly in his private room. His eyes are pale gold.

He is accompanied by a silent young man who seems to be only 18. Dressed in black and blue with tan skin, he seems to be Asian but has blue eyes. He's very beautiful. Actually, he's too beautiful, too perfect, because he is a machine. Though he passes for real at a glance, close inspection reveals that he lacks the tiny flaws and imperfections of a human. His skin is too smooth and too clear with no pores, and the coloring of his lips has the airbrushed look of a ball-jointed doll. He wears a watch on each wrist and a collar around his neck, along with a fine chain that holds tiny clock against his chest. He seems to be athletic and stands only 5'7".

Meanwhile in the Second Class section (although they argued a bit when they boarded about luxury vs affordability) are Cloud and Tseng and they brought a monster with them. The Caption only allowed it on board because he knew what Cloud did in service of their planet, and only under the stipulation that it stay below deck with the other animals. Of course, it scared the hell out of the horses and goats and chickens and Chocobos, so the two of them snuck the creature back to their room. In truth though, that wasn't the only reason they wanted to keep it close to them.

The call their monster Fenrir. ::



Captain: >Bl -sails ship-

Crew: -do crewmen things-

The Doctor: -was seen briefly as he headed to his room, but hasn't come out sense, and this voyage is already on the second day; he hasn't even come out for lunch-

The Doctor's Doll: -was noticed here and there once or twice running errands for his master, but never said a word to anyone and quickly vanished back into their room-

Cloud: -sulking on deck- ....

Fenrir: -slobbering on the hand rail-

Cloud: -whisper- "Stop that." stare ;;;;

Fenrir: -slobber?- O0

Cloud: -whisper- "Stop it." -waves hand at him-

Fenrir: -slobber, slobber, slobber, chews on railing- ...

Passengers: -staring- .____. -keeping very, very far away-

:: In the ship's dining room. ::

Vice Captain: "Sir, we told you to keep that thing below deck. It's frightening the passengers." D<

Tseng: -returning with lunch for him and Cloud and their pet, stops to glare at the vice captain- "If you want him in the cargo bay, then take him there yourself."

Vice Captain: -gulps- ...

Tseng: -marches out to the deck-

Vice Captain: stare "Bloody Shinra assholes, think they can do whatever they want..." -mutter, shuffles off-

(( the captain/stuff aren't real characters, just background filler fodder, you can have them do stuff if you want, aka "shared npcs" ))

Joining the first class are three people who may be well known. Colonel Roy Mustang with his faithful and loyal Lt. ( and bodyguard). The other is a blonde girl early 20s who shares resemblance to the Lt, except she wears her hair in a looser bun. She has been called Hikaru. Like her sister she carries her pistol on her side. She tends to hang in the mess hall where the food is. The colonel and Lt relax in their rooms most of the time. Hikaru being the only one knowing they are more than just "colonel" and "Lt " to each other. She seems to show curiousity over this strange beast that has been brought aboard. She's seen her fair share of chimeras and humonculous, so this doesn't seem as strange to her.

Hikaru: * looking curiously over them *

In second class sits a quiet orange haired girl with beautiful soft blue eyes. She has but one bag with her. Seems that's all she brought. Inside are just some
Small personal items. She's a surgeon of sorts who was sort of fallen in with the wrong group of people who use her skills for their own purposes. She sits quietly on the deck with her nose in a book. She doesn't seem to notice the people around her. She's not really social. Her name is Clover and she is traveling to see her sick sister.

Server: -brings her an iced drink- here you are ma'm

Clover: -looks up at the guy, giving him a polite smile, takes the drink sipping it then turns her attention back to the book after murmuring a soft thanks.

Cloud: -awkward whisper- "Stop eating the railing!" D;

Fenrir: -slobber, slobber-

Tseng: -walks out with food- "For you." -hands plate-

Cloud: -takes it shyly- ...

Tseng: "This is for me..." -sets another on a table- "Fenrir, stop that." >:[

Fenrir: "Slobber?"

Tseng: -swats him with his (unopened) chopsticks-

Fenrir: "SQUEAK!"

Tseng: "I said stop."

Fenrir: "HISS!" -bares fangs-

Tseng: -chopstick swat-

Fenrir: "Skreee!" -hides behind Cloud, rubs his head with his hands-

Tseng: "Don't talk back to me." emotion_donotwant

Fenrir: -wibble-

Tseng: "Here." -hands plate-

Fenrir: -takes plate in hands, squats by Cloud and nibbles with inner jaws- emotion_c8

Tseng: -stands by Cloud next to the little table by the rail- u__u -opens chopstick package and pokes at food calmly, nibbles his vegetarian lunch like nothing unusual is going on-

Cloud: ...; -pokes at food shyly and tries not to notice the random staring bystanders which are bothering him a little-

People nearby: >.>; -not sure if that Chinese guy is really tough to be chopstick-smacking a big scary monster, or if the big scary monster is just actually not that much of a threat if it puts up with being chopstick-smacked-

Fenrir: -sucks up noodle with inner mouth- c8

Tseng: "Fenrir." >_> -warning voice, like telling a kid to mind their manners-

Fenrir: >B| -picks up fork, stabs food, nibbles off fork with inner mouth- ...



Doc & his robot: -in their room out of sight enjoying their highly-valured privacy-



Evil horse in the cargo bay: -trying to bite the stablehand-



:: And then it happens.... ::

(( uh, whenever you're ready and have no further ideas for the voyage (which you can post first if you have some), have something sink the ship. a big storm, a sea dragon, the kraken, King Triton, I don't care. but if you have some more ideas for this part then do that instead. I came up with the general plot so how the ship goes down (and when, you can say nothing happens until the middle of the night or next morning or whatever) can be up to you. ))

Hikaru: -giggles from where she is, thinks it's extremely hilarious that a guy is smacking this thing with chopsticks- that's the funniest thing I've seen in a long while. Yet it's kind of cute.

Roy and Riza: -pretty much remain in their room enjoying their privacy as well-

Clover: -remains within the pages of this old looking book-

As the day becomes evening and the sun sets, rain begins to fall in what seems to be the perfect way to end the day. But that soon changes and as the water surrounding the boat begins to bubble and become rough, like something is making its way to the surface. Shortly after huge suction tentacles form around the ship gripping hold, and squeezing the ship. Screams are heard among the great ship and its being split in half and utter chaos breaks out. Within a matter of minutes the ship known as Andromeda is nothing but pieces of debris floating in the water. People can be seen clinging to the wooden pieces that float upon the surface.

Riza: -helping Roy swim as he hates the water being a flame
Alchemist, they seem to share a rather large floating piece and she relaxes when she sees her sister Hikaru floating along not to far from them - are you ok Hikaru?

Hikaru; are you seriously asking me that? Did you not see what just happened? -her hair is loose around her shoulders -

Clover: - clinging to a piece of debris as she struggled to keep her bag with her-

Roy: -looking around - is that monstrosity gone?

Riza: it appears so

Fenrir: -first to notice something isn't right, puts down food, leans over railing and looks down at the water, tilts head curiously- ...

Tseng: "It's called a vacation, Cloud. You're supposed to be happy on vacations."

Cloud: "Then why aren't you?"

Tseng: stare

Fenrir: -squeals at the bubbles- :3 -just because he sense it coming doesn't mean he also senses that it's dangerous-

Cloud: -takes notice of bubbles when they start getting really frothy- ?

Tseng: "... what is that?"

:: And then tentacles erupt outta the water and start grabbin people and crushing things, etc. ::

Random sailor: "WAH! I TOLD YOU IT WAS BAD LUCK WHEN YOU FOUND IT!!!" -throws hat at Sailor 2-

Sailor 2: DDDD; -throws hat overboard-

Cloud: -runs over with giant sword and swats at tentacles-

Fenrir: -goes with him and helps; together they chop off a leg but it doesn't help much as the ship goes down anyway-

Tseng: -uses magic spells to support them; he walks with a limp because Sephiroth mangled him all up in FF7 and they were gonna put it in AC but apparently decided not to, it's in the script book but not in the actual movie; gets knocked overboard by a tentacle-

Cloud: !!!

Fenrir: "SKREEEE!" -dashes across deck, leaps over the rail into the water below, which is a high enough fall to be pretty dangerous to a human, but he lives; as a powerful swimmer he finds his master underwater and brings him to the surface-

Tseng: -half-unconscious because he's just a normal human with not special physical powers and not that strong after what happened in FF7 + what happened to him in AC-

Cloud: -looking over the rail at them- ! -turns and sees random person in peril- !! -runs over to help them-

:: Chaos, commotion, etc. ::

:: Most people get split up and separated from their loved ones, many of them drown, etc. They drift through the night, and by morning the lucky ones float into shallow water. There's an island nearby! ::

Fenrir: -drags Tseng to the sand and plops him down, turns and looks for Cloud, sits at the edge of the water and whines- 8c

Tseng: -lays in the sand unconscious- x.x

Black horse: -comes up out of the water with a fearsome neigh, apparently that demonic thing can swim, and quite well; all this did nothing to improve his mood, and now that he's free of his stall he gallops toward shore to take out his frustration on anyone in his path-

Fenrir: -hisses at him when it comes too close to his master; the horse snaps at him and rears up, but Fenrir manages to chase it off; the horse runs into the palm trees and disappears into the woods beyond-

Fenrir: -comes over to sniff Tseng, nuzzles him and slobbers on him, turns and looks for Cloud again- "Skreeeeee!" ;^;

Cloud: -way way down the beach, dragging people ashore and flopping them on the wet sand (he can grab one of yours while he's at it if you want) all the while looking around for his lost companions but he can't find them anywhere-

:: In the dim light of early dawn, you can just barely make out things around you but mostly just shadows, so he's not the only one of those who survived who can't find his loved ones. Other people are screaming out names and searching for lost kids, lost friends, etc, some panicking, some sobbing, some angry, some scared. ::

Fenrir: -sits faithfully by his master and waits; whine, whine- :<

Tseng: X.x -crumpled wet heap in the sand just behind him-

Doctor: -rushes about helping the injured people, there's plenty of them; his little robot follows him around as his nurse/aid/assistant-

Clover; -grabs onto clouds hand, thankful to have help. Not letting her bag down she begins helping people as well since she is experience in medicine. Cautiously approaches tseng hoping to aid him. She looks at the creature by him. She shows him her kit indicating she wants to help, but remains still until he shows her it's ok-

Hikaru: -is dragged up by her sister who then begins helping others and trying to help people find their loved ones. She tries to comfort some of them who watched their loved ones go under or drown-

Roy: -pouts a bit, then straightening his attire takes in the situation and begins gathering wood to make a big fire so people can dry off since they are wet and probably cold-

Riza: -extremely good at keeping order, she is keeping everyone together and trying to calm them while she does help some
Lost kids calm down-

Fenrir: -intently watches the stranger approach, looks at kit like oh is that for me? and comes over to sniff, and if she doesn't stop him, chew on it and possibly rummage through it for anything tasty or interesting-

:: He's very intelligent and surprisingly gentle. He's quite big and scary but doesn't hurt anyone who isn't an obvious threat to his family. He will, however, cover you in copious amounts of drool and slobbers and may try to eat the buttons off your shirt. He has a chain in his mouth that Tseng and Cloud use to guide him and it works like a curb chain on a horse or a bullring on a bull or a training chain on a dog: it applies pressure to his mouth so he'll yield in the direction you want. However, in order to use it, you have to reach your hand toward his mouth... and his teeth. ::

Tseng: emotion_drool



Cloud: -flops Clover on the sand but he's mostly worried about his friends, which he immediately leaves to search for without taking much more notice of her than that, for now; in the dim light the glow in his mako eyes seems especially bright-

le doctor: -knowledgeable and experienced in a wide range of medical sciences, from medicine to surgery to setting bones to diseases, etc, he does pretty much everything; when he heals people, he's only interested in fixing them, and doesn't say much to them other than "This broken, hold here" or "Only bruises, you live."-

le robot: -doesn't talk at all, just digs in the doc's medical bag and unwraps bandages for him, etc, and helps to drag wet heavy soggy people onto shore when necessary since he's quite strong-

At this point the colonel has had time to focus on building a huge fire pit and after shaking his gloves to help dry them, get them dry enough to cause a small spark and send a bolt of fire into the pit, immediately starting a huge fire.

People "Ooooo " and "ahhhh" as they start to gather around the fire, shivering and trying to keep warm.

Riza: -soon joins him but the fire watching as everyone gathers around -

Clover: - noticing that the creature means no harm, she lets him chew on the bag, it's wet anyway and drool won't really affect it, she looks Tseng over listening to his heart and checking his vitals- ( not sure what you want his condition to be, as I'll let you make that all since he's your character). She waits for someone next to this guy, waiting for cloud to return as she did notice those two with this creature. She isn't going to risk taking her bag that he is chewing and drooling on-

Hikaru; -with a small group of children who have yet find their loved ones. There are three in the group, she's talking with them and trying to keep them calm until everyone else gets settled. -

Fenrir: -sits with bag and gnaws around on it a bit, attempts to get inside; he can't work small delicate things like buckles and zippers, but he can pull apart velcro and snaps, so whether or not he gets into it depends on how it's made, as for strings it depends on if the bow comes loose easily or just tightens up into a knot, etc; anyway, her bag is his new toy for the moment; he does pause suddenly when he notices her poking at Tseng and comes over a bit quickly, which would probably be a little unnerving at the least, making you think of a rottweiler that thinks you're going to harm its master whether you really are or not since animals don't understand things; he comes over and sniffs at her and sniffs at Tseng, pauses as if thinking, then remembers that fabulous and exciting bag and goes back to play with it, although after that, he drags it closer to his master; he doesn't deliberately try to hurt her, but sometimes he doesn't pay attention to where his long bony tail is swinging around and forgets that there's a barb on the end, he's been known to accidentally knock people clean off their feet with his tail, along with lamps, chairs, tables...-

Tseng: -has a concussion or something, got hit on the head during the chaos; doesn't need CPR or else he's probably been laying so long he'd have brain damage by now lol so just a bump on the head and some serious bruises; he has a brace on his left knee under his pants and a scar on his forehead (I did have him with scars for both the injuries he had in AC but it looked a little overboard so I left it with just the forehead); he's wearing one of those FBI hidden pistol harnesses under his suit (either that or he just pulls his gun out of his a**, which is kind of what it looked like in crisis core); anyway he'll live, he's just banged up a bit because he's a wimp and gets hurt in every single FF7 game he's been in, the only thing he didn't get hurt in was Last Order and that's because he doesn't come out of his office (I'm sure he probably burned himself on his coffee or got a paper cut off screen or something); after all the tussle and splashing, the dot washed off his forehead-

Cloud: -comes running down the beach on his short little legs- "Fenrir!"

Fenrir: "SKREE!" ♥ -waggles tail around, knocks Clover in the head unless she ducks (if he does, he comes to slobber on her nose and see if she's okay, and if he misses he never even notices he nearly decapitated someone)-

Cloud: -rushes to kneel by Tseng- D: -stares in horror, fearing the worst-

Fenrir: -tries to show Cloud his bag- cB

Cloud: -pats him on the head absently but keeps his eyes on Tseng-



Doc: -looks up suddenly when Mustang's fire ignites and pauses for a moment to take that in; looks around at the beach, wondering where his horse got off to but it's not his primary concern right now; glances again at the fire then goes back to tending people-

:: Eventually they have everyone huddled together on the beach, though there are still a couple roaming the waterline looking for more survivors, one of which being the doc's robot. The doctor used a lot of makeshift bandages out of torn clothes and made splints out of wood on the beach, etc. He's very good at fixing people. ::

Clover who is not skilled in the art of dodging gets whacked in the head with his spinning tail. She lets out a small little wail as his tail collides with her face.

Clover: -covering her face from being licked and drooled on. - ah! Help!

Riza: -checking to make sure Roy has no cuts or injuries-

Roy: -keeps whispering things that make her smile with grabbing her hands playfully and kissing them-

Riza: -unable to keep a straight face as she giggles-

Hikaru: -brought the kids over by the fire and looks around at all the people washed up - there are a lot of them ......

Doc: -watching Roy and Riza flirt- ...

little robot: -stays by his side-

:: The other people are wanting to know what to do now, etc, and the braver ones are trying to calm down the panicky ones. They decide that for now, they should just get some rest and wait for full daylight, since it's still so early that it's quite dark. ::

Doc: -looks out at the ocean, the sun will be peeking over the edge of the earth soon; moments later he simply disappears, he was there and then someone went to say something to him and he was just gone, poof; his little robot went with him, wherever he went-



Fenrir: -slobbers helpfully on Clover to see if she's alright-

Cloud: -looks over at her yelping- "Fenrir, no."

Fenrir: -comes back to sit by him- C: -roots in bag, manages to get it open- 8D -snuffles around inside-

Cloud: "Tseng..." -pets his cheek tenderly-

Tseng: Xx;

Fenrir: -chews on unopened tampon-

Cloud: "Fenrir!" -snatches it-

Fenrir: :l

Cloud: -points it at him- "Is that yours? It's not, is it? So leave it...." -looks at whatever the thing is he snatched out of Fenrir's mouth and realizes what it is, then promptly turns bright red and starts mumbling something about being sorry and avoiding eye contact while grabbing the bag from Fenrir and putting the items back in it and handing it to Clover while making a point not to look at her while he blushes furiously-

Fenrir: ;A; "Skreeeee!" -wibbles at the loss of his bag-

Tseng: -groans and moves a little-

Cloud/Fenrir: ! -forget everything else and cluster over him-

Cloud: "Is he okay?" D:

Fenrir: D: .... -slowly reaches for bag while Cloud's not looking-

Clover: -is just as awkward at avoiding eye contact as she takes her bag and straps it back on her shoulders- um...y-yeah he will be just fine. He did fall quite a distance and will likely recover in a couple hours. -wipes drool off of her face with her wet shirt - [ what is that thing?] you're....pet, is um....quite the drooler -fixing her contents in the bag and quickly snatches the tampon he was holding - [thats so embarrassing]

Hikaru: - helps get people settled down to rest until daylight -

Riza: -sits with Roy and lays her head on his shoulder as she rests herself -

None of them seemed to notice the doc guy vanishing

Cloud: -frets over Tseng a bit, glances over at her, then at Fenrir-

Fenrir: -pining for the bag as she puts things back in it- >.>

Cloud: "Fenrir, get over here."

Fenrir: -comes back to him on all fours, usually keeping close to the ground, squatting or kneeling, etc; he only rears up on his back legs when threatened and the only time he's needed to do that recently was probably when the doc's horse came rampaging up toward him and the two almost got in a fight until the horse opted for fleeing into the bushes-

Cloud: "He won't hurt you." -sits by Tseng, looks down at him-

Tseng: ....

Fenrir: -nuzzles Tseng, slobber slobber- :3

Cloud: -wipes the slobbers off his unconscious friend then looks around at where they are, the beach and palm trees and debris from the ship floating toward shore; sighs; lays his ridiculously big sword down on the sand next to him and rests a bit, looking worried-

Fenrir: -wanders over to the water to inspect an item floating on the tide, there will likely be odd things washing up over the next several days- (( no plans for what the item is, it could be a missing thing that belongs to one of your people, maybe something of Roy's so he'll have an excuse to get up away from his bonfire and come encounter the others )) -whatever it is, it's Fenrir's now as he snaps it up and starts gnawing and slobbering on it, tosses it up in the air with his mouth and then bounds over to pounce on it- C: -he doesn't stray far from his masters, though-

Cloud: -glances shyly at Clover- "...thanks."

Tseng: ....

Cloud: -pulls his black hair back from his face a bit and makes some small attempt to tidy him up, picks a piece of seaweed off him and looks toward the fire, considering carrying him closer so he can dry off but it's all crowded over there so he considers maybe making his own fire so he can avoid getting too close to the other people-
