Name: Levin
Stage: Prentice
Race: Pure Fire
Eventual Class: Bard
Gender: Male
Base Traits: Charming, Witty, Clever, Conceited, Cowardly, Non-committal, Selfish
Personality: Oozing charm and wit, Levin is a man obviously used to getting what he wants. He's confident to a fault and believes himself to be the best thing to ever walk Tendaji's land, and he will let anybody around him know it. And the worst part about it is that he's a smooth enough talker to get quite a few people buying into his act. He's the exact type of person that parent's warn their children about to avoid at all costs.
Levin has a natural gift for humor and music of all sorts and he's not afraid to use his gifts to lure people into his appeal before conning them out of everything they own. He's quite clever and able to read people easily, which he always uses to his advantage. He knows just the right thing to say and promise to people to make them like him, but don't ever count on him to deliver. He never seems to follow through on his promises, disappearing sometime before he has to actually commit to whatever he swore he would do, even if it's not necessarily something that would determent him. Once he promises someone to do something, even if it's something he initially wanted to do, he automatically loses all interest in said promise. Getting him to do anything he said to do is almost impossible.
On the rare occasions that Levin's charm can't get him out of a situation though, he's not afraid to turn tail and run. Or to try to bribe his way out of whatever trouble he's in. He will go the ridiculous extremes to avoid a fight or any violence and he's not afraid to hide when the going gets rough. Or even slightly uncomfortable. He is used to luxury and expects a certain standard of living. While he doesn't necessarily expect the world to bow to his every whim, he takes it as a personal insult when it doesn't.
Despite all this, Levin does have a complicated moral code he lives by. He will happily con those well off out of everything he can, but he'll never cheat a person in a worse state than him. He won't go out of his way to help people and one wouldn't necessarily call him charitable, but he will help a person in need if he feels they deserve it. As to what qualifies a person for that dubious honor is still a mystery. His greatest focus has always been and will always be himself, however. He places his own safety above pretty much everything else.
Description: Levin is, in a word, pretty. He's not a particular manly man, having a slim build and what would be considered more feminine facial features. While still obviously male, he definitely is considered more pretty than manly. He always has a very confident smirk on his face.
Skin: Skin color is more in the middle of the scale, leaner darker rather than lighter.
Hair: Hair Style Reference His hair is black and he tends to decorate his braids with small, dark red crystals interlaced into his braids as well.
Eyes: Very deep intense red, leaning darker rather than lighter.
Clothing: As of now, Levin only wears very nice, loose pants and simple shoes. The design is fairly simple but very elegant looking.
History: Born to a very well off family of Obans, Levin grew up in a large family. With four brothers of varying ages and an older sister, he was the sibling that inevitably slipped between the cracks of his parent's attention. While his sister was an incredibly talented strategist and fighter and the favored of his parents, his brothers all managed to carve out places in their very demanding parent's eyes. Levin, however, did not. He had no exceptional skills besides his voice and talent with instruments, but these things held no interest to his parents. As such, they brushed him aside to focus on his "more talented and useful" siblings.
Levin quickly discovered that this meant that he could do almost anything and be ignored by his parents unless he brought a great amount of shame to his family name. Because of this, he immediately decided to cause as much havoc as he could conceivably get away with. Stealing, hanging out with the "wrong" crowd, flirting with anybody and everything, and generally being a public menace became his favorite pastimes. While it drove his sister absolutely mad and she desperately tried to stop him from bringing disgrace to their family, Levin brushed off her concerns. After all, without their parent's direct interference, even her hands were tied when it came to his strong willed ways. Levin was content to live his life like this, figuring that nobody would ever care enough about what he was up to to do anything to stop him.
However, that all changed when both of his parent's were killed while out on a vacation. His family's estate and all of the power transferred to his sister, who took the opportunity to get rid of him like she had always wanted to. Levin quickly found himself disowned and banished from his family home with nothing but the clothes he had on his back.
He now finds himself traveling, trying to make his way day by day with his musical skills and charm. He has no desire to return to his family and would rather not return to Oba at all, if possible.
