But yeah, $40 is kinda steep. I might consider it when my credit card is paid off, though. I already pay $50/month to pay that bill, so once that balance is back down to zero I could apply the money that's normally paying that toward this subscription... ninja

Glad that's something I don't have right now. You make a good point though... I was paying $74.25 a month to that one loan I had, and that's gone as of this month...

If you know you don't need it and you know it's pricey, then I think you should not spend your money on it. It's better to use the money on something more important. If you know you don't need it and you know it's pricey, then I think you should not spend your money on it. It's better to use the money on something more important. Now if it had been a one time cost then I might've said otherwise. Yeah. I was calculating it out as if it were a one-time expense. Currently there's 35 ships (and I wouldn't be surprised if more were going to be continually released to urge people to continue their subscriptions), which is $700 worth of models (over a 18 month period). On the other hand, it could also be seen as an investment. I used to collect Sonic memorabilia, and I ended up selling the majority of it for double (or more) what I originally paid for it.

$40 or so dollars doesn't seem that much to me personally. Especially considering what all you're getting in each package every month. *shrugs* And if down the road you decide it's a bit too much to be paying, at least you have the option of stopping your subscription at any time.

As long as you already have an emergency found covered and this is just some left over entertainment income then I say go for it. It is nice to buy fun stuff every now and then. I mean I buy Pathfinder Battles miniatures with what free money I have. ( Even though all I play is D&D 3.5)
