Welcome to the first annual Festival of Life! This event will take place at least once a year around the start of spring. This event is open to rogues and members alike, so feel free to join in on any of the fun! There will be games, both IC and OOC, and other special treats. This event will last a couple months, starting in February, and ending in April. During this event, special ranks or opportunities may be available that won't be present otherwise.
What is the Festival of Life?
The Festival was first brought forth by the Matron, Kilua'ausi, as a way to bring all faction of the pride together to celebrate the lives that have flourished in the pride, and those some have lost. It is meant to be a joyous occasion, with games and learning. ICly this festival last a week (OOCly ~1-2 months for RP Opportunity and for games!), at the very start of spring.
During the festival of life, the pride welcomes in new members - those that have been born during the year, or those that had joined. That's not to say they don't celebrate the lives that have passed as well! The festival is a chance to celebrate those that have influenced you member, and what brought them here.
There is no one way to celebrate, whether you want to celebrate new life, a member that has passed, or even both!
Can Rogues join in the fun?
Of course! There's no rules against rogues staying in the pride for a while before leaving again. However, SoA won during the contest must stay in the pride. The pride is one of healers, they would never turn a rogue away unless they present a real and strong danger to the pride.
How long does this event last and when is it?
The event will always be in spring, and will last for a week ICly. OOCly, it'll last a bit longer to allow for RPing to take place!
Are there any prizes?
Yes! As an incentive to RP during the event, all RPs are worth 2 points instead of 1 point. The ORP for this event will be worth 4 points, so be sure to participate! There will also be SoA available in this event as well, and each will be given away during different events!
