Lei didn't stop when Andrei entered, not because she didn't notice him, on the contrary, she knew exactly who it was when the door opened. But she didn't want to freak him out by acknowledging him right away. Try to be as normal as possible, as if she wasn't always aware of him when he entered a room. Like she wasn't intimately familiar with him, His footsteps, his heartbeat.
But alas Jet ruined that moment rather quickly. She turned towards the sound of them, not taking off her blindfold yet. She almost smiled as she imagined the anger displayed in his face. She pulled the blindfold off and blinked a bit to adjust to the lights. "Warm up or its your funeral." That was her warning that this wasn't going to be just some play match.
The next person to enter was Ruri. She yawned and rubbed her eyes. She'd noticed Lei wasn't in bed and went to look for her, expecting to see her in the training area, but not expecting Locke and Jet to be there already. "Alright. Now this is what I call a party." Of course it wasn't really but she ignored that fact and walked right up to Lei. With one look they had an entire conversation about whether or not Locke would actually fight his hardest, but Ruri was convinced that Lei wasn't going to hold back. Next she went to the door and shouted down the hall.
"LOVERS QUARREL GETTING READY TO START!" That's what everyone was calling it anyway. Ruri wasn't quite fond of it considering it involved her sister, but she wasn't going to be too picky. Only a few people came in, most of the people would get there after the fight had started.
As soon as Locke was ready Ruri was in the center of the room. "Alright everyone. Listen up. Locke and Lei are going at it today. As Lei has already expressed, this is going to be no holding back. Locke, you'd better be ready to fend for your life. If you don't take this seriously..." Ruri paused for a moment but it was Lei who finished the sentence. "You will die." Matter of fact, no emotion Lei. Her blindfold had been discarded and she stood in a manner that was ready to defend herself but not her normal stance for defense. It was a stance meant for 'we haven't started the battle yet but I'm ready for anything'. Now that her opponent was Andrei, she wouldn't be distracted by anything else. And knowing that if anything were to actually happen that Ruri would intervene, it made her feel not so bad for knowing she was probably going to beat the s**t out of Locke........
