When I post for breeding; can my RPs used for breeding be used for my characters growth? Or are they not allowed to be resued?

Can my RPs used to apply for breeding be used for growth as well?
Yes. The only RP that cannot be used for growth is the second RP/solo necessary to apply for adoption. This is posted in the baby adoption thread for reference, but all others can be used.

Also: what constitutes activity? I know you need to be rping or chatting in the main thread but what is the minimum requirement?

What constitutes as activity in reference to the activity rule?
You have to be active at least once every three months to avoid receiving an activity warning. This means just post somewhere. It can be in the main thread, in the guild, an RP, just saying hi, whatever as long as we see your face.

Is it possible for a lotus pod to be ripped, wilted, or corrupted/dying in some way that would change the appearance of the Alkidike or hybrid within it?

Just my curiosity.

No. Absolutely not. Aisha is sacred and is under constant watch, no one would dare to do anything to a lotus and Aisha purges anything that could be harmful to the lotus.

Can any non-extremists approach the now open extremist camp?
No. The extremists have chosen a life without the others of Tendaji in it. They will not allow outsiders (including Sisters who did not join them) into the camps. It is even more closely guarded than Chibale is and much more selective.

No. At this time no one other than the extremists know of the Elaria, and they guard this secret closely. The do not want others to know of them and will not release information while they are still so young and fragile.

No. Elzira cannot support hybrids. The only children born from Elzira are pure Elaria. The extremists within the settlement can however plead to Elzira and receive an Elaria as their daughter.

No. Please see above answer, but the tree cannot support anything other than Elaria. Earthlings and hybrids are also not allowed anywhere near the tree.

Yes. The Elaria are being raised with Alkidike ideals, they will only be able to follow alkidike classes.

Will there be an Elaria mystic anytime in the future?
Elzira is not stable enough to produce a mystic's lotus, but sometime further down the line they will have one much like the Alkidike have mystics.

Can the banished Alkidikes leave the Yealian island now? Or are they still banished?

Can Alkidike Extremists leave their new settlement now?
Yes. They are no longer restricted to Zinris, but they cannot say or hint at anything involving the elaria. They are still a sworn secret.

What happens if they try to go back to Chibale? Or anywhere? Is it well known who was banished or no?

Are the identities of the Extremists well known?
Technically no, but the essential demeanor of the extremists and their ideals is enough to show anyone that they are extremist and were banished. It wouldn't take long to figure out (not to mention the new choice of clothing style).

What happens if the Extremists try to go back to Chibale?
Unfortunately the extremists will not be allowed back onto Chibale, even for the festivals. They have chosen their new mother Elzira, and cannot go back to Aisha at this point.

Can Alkidikes and Elarians use only ONE blade rather than the dual?

Can the Alkidike or Elaria use a weapon other than what's listed in the class thread (spear, dual blades, bow)?
No. The Alkidike and Elaria are limited to only these three weapons sets. They cannot use any other weapon, including just a single sword.

The Elarian are clearly physically affected by the land/toxins they grew from, but are there any noticeable mental/emotional changes (aside from being raised by the extremists) that would make them differ from their Alk cousins? ..probably should have asked this before sending in my app...

Do the Elaria have any physical or mental ailments from the toxins on Yael?
No. Elzira, like Aisha works to purify the earth around it, so by the time the flowers began to grow the toxins were already absorbed and purified. Elzira wouldn't have started to bloom if it would have posed harm to the children inside.

Is there a cool down for breeding?

Is there a breeding cool down?
There is not necessarily. An owner must have completely finished their last breeding before they can begin a new one. So the youngling art must be finished and dropped before that same owner can request a new breeding.

How are Limbara like as mounts?

Are they fast or slow?

Do you need a special saddle for them?

What would be their ability for battle be if a guardian chooses one as their mount?


What are Limbara like as mounts?
Limbara are huge and very heavy animals. They do travel slowly for the most part, but can snap down pretty viciously and are fantastic for defense. They can rush an enemy for short distances to hurl their body weight at them, but tire easily. They're more made to be a tank than to be speedy. You do need a special saddle to ride a limbara. Their back is so humped (and plated) that you would need some sort of padded saddle in order to be comfortable riding one.

How does one get to Yeal and back? What sort of dangers are there? Is it easy? How long does it take?

How hard is it to get to or leave Yael?
Yael is a large island off of the coast of Tendaji, but it is still very difficult to get there or back. The distance between the coasts of Tendaji and Yael is about 100 miles. This means days at sea before being able to reach the other side. While the north end of Yael does have beaches, the closer to the volcano you get, the more rocky and impossible it is to dock. The distance is only the first problem, the seas are infested with large and dangerous fish, the size of the boats themselves, and many ships can get tossed onto any of the rocky outcroppings surrounding the island (even on the beach side of Yael).

How do the Alkidikes feel about tattoos?

How do the Alkidike feel about tattoos?
Alkidike can have tattoos if they choose to. Culturally it would be frowned upon, mostly alks feeling that their body already came with all of the markings that their Mother wanted them to have. It would not be seen as a positive thing by other alkidike and they would be evaluated differently if they returned to Chibale with markings that aren't of Aisha.

If I do a breeding, but plan on giving the resulting youngling to someone else, does that owner need a slot for that child?

If I wanted to give my baby from a breeding to another owner to play, would they need an open character slot?
Yes. The rule that bred younglings do not need slots only applies if the owners of the pair breeding are planning on playing the resulting babies. If they want to gift the baby to another owner to play that owner will need an open slot since they were not the one who bred.

What if you reach yoru 20 max limit of characters and have 20 characters filling up all the slots
can you breed?
Or do you have to wait till someone gets to stage 4 to breed?

Slots cap out at 20; what happens if I have 20 characters and want to apply for a breeding?
Once the slot max has been reached you cannot go beyond that. So if you do happen to have 20 characters filling your slots, you will have to grow one to stage 4 before you can apply for a breeding since there is no longer a way for you to make up the slots for the new baby.

For stage 4 Beast Master art will they have one of their companion in their art like riders or no?

Will Stage 4 Beast Masters have a companion in their art like the Riders/Guardians do?
Yes. Beast Masters will be able to choose one of their familiars to appear with them in their art. They can only choose one though, and this particular one will also be portrayed in their legendary art so they cannot change their familiar between stages.
