❂ Structure and Ranks ❂
In an effort to understand and collaborate with how a person in the Army progresses in rank, we have created a simple solution per stage. This is not something that needs to be followed 100%, but it was created to make the most sense and to allow people to understand how their character may progress. All of these titles and descriptions are based off of the general shop summary for each stage.
❂ Structure❂
The people of Oba live under a nobility system that peaks with a King to dictate all that goes on in his lands. The King dictates the forces of his army, which involve another system of rank including generals, advisors, and strategists. Since the great war, the new King has replaced most Generals to fit the new views of the nation.
❂ Ranks ❂
Stage 2 ❂ Private These men and women have finally been accepted into the Oban Army. They are expected to work hard to contribute and protect their nation. They clearly are still considered the newest in the Army, and as a result are often sent on training missions and those that do not require as much skill or responsibility. Oban Privates have a long way to go if they wish to make a name for themselves. Approximate Age: 18-22
Stage 3 ❂ Corporal The highest common title available within the Army. It is a great honor to achieve Corporal, and those with the rank are looked upon with great respect and are considered some of the most knowledgeable in their respective fields. They often will be assigned with greater responsibilities and trusted with more restricted information. Approximate Age: 22-26
Stage 4 ❂ Captain / Strategist / Adviser Now considered some of the wisest members of the Army, these Obans are the strongest of their class. They are considered the "libraries" of all Oban Army members, rich in knowledge and wisdom they are sought out for advice. They take on some of the most dangerous missions within the Army, as well as both advice and lead the groups beneath them. Approximate Age: 26-35
Legendary ❂ General / Veteran / Council Member Those who go above and beyond the calling of the Army earn these exclusive titles. They are a renowned group of people that have accomplished amazing things in their lives. For years to come, tales of their magnificent journeys will be passed down, through the generations. They have the highest respect within the Army and hold the most responsibility in their leadership positions. Some may choose to retire and live a quiet life, but most at this stage choose to continue to lead and influence the Oban Nation toward a brighter future. Approximate Age: 28-40
