Tera sighed, showing obvious signs of distaste in her features. It was as she dreaded; the unavoidable assignment given to students to do at home, homework. It had finally been given and in her first class too! She wasn't fond of writing papers, nor was she very good at writing them. The girl made a mental note of what was to be written for the next class. "Yessir..." Her enthusiasm gone, she spoke with a slight slur.
As she didn't have any questions, the girl started walking back to the school grounds with a schlump to her walk. "Seeya next class Eve..." She continued with her disheartened tone. Too dispirited to remember that she wanted to chat with a few classmates before leaving.

Hearing Professor Burke’s reply to her Evelyn smiled before listening to Tera. It was interesting that she named her Charmander Flare, definitely a good name for a fire type like that. It seemed like Tera did quite a lot of camping already. Maybe she’d be able to give her some pointers. She’d have to wait to find out as a boy came running up asking if he was in the right place. Turning her attention to him she realized it was Josh from yesterday.
Once Josh had the initial run down, he went into doing his introduction. Evelyn was so busy listening to everything that she hardly realized that Tera had messed up any. Hearing a cry from Josh’s direction, Evelyn looked over curiously before turning her attention back to Professor Burke. When he got into talking about their first assignment she was a little excited. Sure homework wasn’t her thing like any ten year old kid but she wasn’t going to not do it. Besides it just meant class was starting on the right foot.
Writing down the point of the assignment so she wouldn’t forget Evelyn turned her attention to Tera as class was dismissed. “Yeah, see you next class.” She called back to her as she put her notebook back in her bag. Having no questions she turned to Yamask.“Come on let’s go get lunch.”She told him with a smile before getting what appeared to be a nod from him. "See you tomorrow Professor." With that Evelyn headed back to the school trying her hardest not to trip on her way there.

Ray pretty much just spaced out through out the entire class, he really wasn't dead set on listening at the moment. He ruffled Rey's hair softly, earning him a soft hum in response. Ray knew he should be paying attention, but part of him was still depressed about his sister. This was the class she was supposed to be in, not him. It just didn't seem fair that his sister was taken away from him, taken away from this world before she even got to live out her life. It made Ray anger, why was he alive now while she was gone? Why was he allowed to live while his sister didn't? They were close, very close considering they were twins. It was depressing, and life without her just felt like apart of him was missing. He was incomplete without his other half, and yea they were different. However, being twins they had a special connection, a connection normal siblings wouldn't understand. Right now even with Rey by his side, he felt alone in this world. A small sigh escaped his lips as he proceeded to continue his deep thoughts. It was then that the bell rang, and class had ended. Ray wasn't one to complain, so he stood and gathered this things together. It was lunch, or at least the end of lunch. He had wasted it just silently kept sitting here like an idiot. He got up and began to walk, as he left for his next class.

The morning went as it usually did for Evelyn, sleeping passed her alarm and rolling into a balled up mess to the floor upon waking. Once untangled, she managed to find her glasses and rushed to get dressed in her school uniform. With her usually messed up pony tail she headed out the dorm with her bag over her shoulder. Trying her hardest not to trip, she didn’t have much luck, ultimately tripping several times along her way. She only met the ground once though as she fell on the grassy path to the campsite where her first class was held.
Feeling like she was late, Evelyn was relieved to find out she wasn’t. Going without breakfast the dark haired girl decided to grab a granola bar from her bag before munching away. With the granola bar in her mouth, she riffled through her bag to find Yamask’s pokéball. Taking it out, she enlarged the ball before releasing the silent ghost Pokémon from it. “You hungry…?” Evelyn asked holding up a second granola bar. Looking over at what was offered Yamask smiled and nodded his head. Opening it for him (since Yamask doesn’t have apposable thumps), Evelyn held it out before the Pokémon reached out and started eating at it.
Smiling Evelyn looked around. “Wonder when everyone else is going to get here…” She questioned before looking back to her silent friend. Yamask only seemed to shrug as he inhaled the bar. “I’m sure they’ll get here soon.”Evelyn told him as she took out her notebook for the time being.

Josh hefted the weight of the pokeball. He tossed it forward, watching the form of the saurian pokemon materialize. He let her shake out any stiffness before stepping forward to pat her on the head.
"Ty!" Tatiana cooed at his touch. She followed Josh closely, her three toed feet plodding on the hard packed ground. Her nostrils dilated with each breath as her gaze traveled to the trees around them. The air was fairly warm, pleasant, especially considering fall was around the corner.
Josh found himself wondering what Tatiana would think of the cold. Her whole life had been spent in the Hoenn region, and Josh couldn't remember the last time he'd seen snow. Part of him wondered what snow pokemon would look like, how they compared to the pokemon next to him.
There was someone already at the campsite, so he waived, recognizing the girl. "Eve!" He smiled at her, then inclined his head to the dark pokemon holding a mask. With a flop, he practically fell into a sitting position and started rummaging through his bag. Finally, he pulled out a large treat and tossed it to Tatiana, who caught it simply by opening her large mouth.
"So, what's in the notebook?" He asked, trying not to seem too curious as he looked at the girl. He looked from her to her pokemon, watching the dark creature gnaw on the granola bar. Feeling left out, Tatiana began digging at the ground, then sniffing the furrows.

Running to the campsite from the forest, all sweaty and disheveled of course(not surprising with her adrenaline filled morning), Tera alone finally made it to class. On her way, she put the tired Flare and her new birb Pokemon who she still had to name for a much needed rest and relaxation in their respective Pokeballs. They didn't appear to be that badly injured, but she reminded herself to go to the Center before the next class started. After double-checking the time to confirm that she was indeed late, she noticed a couple of students were here already present and that the teacher wasn't here yet.
Eve had her notebook out, munching on some tasty looking snack and Joshua was sitting by her side. Both had their Pokemon out which made her wonder if she needed to take hers out too. 'Hmm... Maybe later...' She had recently put them in and didn't want to disturb them unless the class required it. "Sup... Guys!" She said between heavy breaths as soon as she was within earshot of the students, placing her hands on her knees when she came to a halt. "Looks like teach isn't here yet!" She continued in an obviously relieved tone.

Heading down the designated route to the campsite, Silvano kept his arms folded in front of him, even though the cool air didn’t bother him that much. He was still disappointed that Battle class was going to take place outside and with a bunch of other students he was sure he wouldn’t recognize. Though, he supposed it wouldn’t be too difficult to adjust to the situation.
Once the campsite fell into sight, Silvano couldn’t help but pick up his pace a little. He noted that there were at least three other students present and one of them was Evelyn, a girl he had meet during gym class. Actually, now that he thought about it, he could have sworn he had seen the other students during that same gym class. Fortunately, they all seemed like nice kids; two Kingdras and one Charizard. Heading over to them, Silvano noted that the pink haired Charizard student looked a little disheveled, like she had gotten into a fight with some trees or something, but he had decided not to call her out on it. She probably had a rough morning. Though, interestingly enough, she didn’t seem to have any pokemon out by her side, like the other two students. Maybe she shared the same mindset as him? He didn’t care for letting his pokemon have free reign.
“Hello, everyone.” Silvano called out to the others. “It looks like we’ll be combining classes today. Mr. Reyes – who’s currently substituting for Battle Class -- will be getting here shortly and will explain the details.” He explained, hoping the others wouldn’t find the news as odd as he initially did. “You guys can call me Silvano. It’s a pleasure meeting you all and I hope our time together will be amicable.” The Salamence student then added cordially with little rise or fall in his voice. He knew he wasn’t a class representative or anything like that, but he decided he’d take initiative until the others from battle class showed up. For now, he didn’t mind the idea of getting to know the others from the outdoor class.

Marcus managed to make his way to the campsite after taking a few wrong turns. Walking in he saw a few of his class mates were already there but he couldn't find the teacher anywhere. Feeling social for the day he decided to walk up to them. "Guess i'm not the only one who took a walk through the woods" he said by way of greeting "Tera right? We have Science and Tech together?" He aimed the next question not just as Tera but at the other people he sort of knew. Josh was his room mate even thou they hadn't really interacted that much in the past few weeks, the girl he only knew on sight, he thought his name was Eve or something. He had only seen her in class and around the Kingdra house even though like Joshua they hadn't really interacted much. "Any idea what's happening today? Mr. Burke isn't here and I think I saw the battle teacher head this way"

Evelyn looked up when Josh called to her. She was happy to see a friendly face. She had to admit that his Pokémon Tatiana was pretty cool too. “Hey Josh.”She greeted with a smile. Yamask seemingly nodded his head in greeting to the boy and Tatiana. When Josh asked her what was in the notebook Evelyn smiled and said. “This notebook… nothing really, just sketches of Pokémon I’ve seen.” Glancing down at the page she was on before looking the sketch over. “Like this one. This is Sam, my mother’s Sandslash. She was digging in the ruins next to our house when I drew this.”She told Josh brightly. Evelyn secretly wondered how everyone was doing at home.
That thought quickly left though when Tera came running over. “Hey Tera, I was just showing Josh a sketch of my mother’s Sandslash.” Evelyn told her before looking the Charizard girl over. “You look like you were in a hurry.” She said with a small smile. Noting others had arrived Evelyn wondered why they were here. Silvano from what she knew wasn’t in the Outdoors class. Listening to him say that Battle class was combining with the Outdoors class, she began to wonder how that would be possible.
Giving him a wave in acknowledgement she then noticed another boy come over and join the group. He seemed to know Josh and Tera. Evelyn recalled he was in her house easily enough. So when he asked what was happening, she felt included to answer. “From what Silvano said both our class and the Battle class are combining today. My guess is Professor Burke isn’t going to be here today.”She told him. “I’m Evelyn by the way most call me Eve or Evy.” She introduced trying to be at least polite if not friendly.

Walking alongside Silvano, Maria couldn’t help but notice his disappointment. What the big deal was about being outdoors was beyond her. She quite liked being outside then again she enjoyed seeing the wild Pokémon. She couldn’t say the same for her friend her disliked anything that involved dirt. ‘He must have been fun around the sandbox…’ Maria thought before realizing they never had one. They did however have a beach nearby which if she recalled Silvano hardly visited unless she dragged him down to the lighthouse.
“You know you don’t have to look so down… There’s nothing wrong with a little fresh air.” Maria told him with a small smile. Lillipup who had been following along at her trainer’s side barked in agreement. He clearly needed to be more open-minded. Looking to see who was actually in the Outdoors class, Maria let Silvano inform them of what was going on. There was a Charizard girl and several Kingdra members. She recalled meeting Eve in gym class but hadn’t formally met the others. Though, she recalled seeing most of them in gym class.
Lillipup took this time to sniff around and enjoy being outdoors. While she knew she had to stay close to Maria, she wasn’t about to let this time slip through her paws. Looking to the group of kids and Pokémon she recognized some from one of those classes her trainer was enrolled in. The small pup knew Eve and Yamask off the bat and wagged her tail happily. Despite not being able to leave Maria’s side Lillipup was happy to see familiar faces.

Antonio led the students into the campsite. He assumed that this was the first time any of his students had come to this place. The reason for his thoughts were that normally this area was closed off to the students unless a class was taking place. However, there were some students who seem to know the way just fine and were even walking ahead of him arriving before him. Antonio grinned at how adventurous his students were. Once he did arrive to the campsite he was happy to see that a good amount of students were still present and did not decide to leave because the teacher was late. Then again he couldn't blame the students that might have decided to leave class since that was an action he would have taken when he was a child.
As an adult he was the tallest in the group, but even for adult standards he was a pretty tall man so his presence was easily felt by everyone. He silently walked over to one of the benches and purposely walked through the path where all the students could see him. Any conversation would hopefully cease very soon. He didn't want to waste anymore time so he decided to begin class by explaining today's activity. "Good morning everyone. Some of you may know my name already, but I am mister Reyes and I'm normally in charge of Battle Class, but today I will be helping out with Outdoor Class as well." He looked at all the students to make sure that everyone was paying attention to him.
"We are starting a little late today so in order to not waste anymore time we will be starting with today's activity. I'd like everyone to pick a partner and one partner only. He or she will be the person you will be working with today." Antonio motioned for everyone to start picking their partner so that he could continue explaining the next part of today's lesson.
