She hoped that Koru was not put off her her immediate timid and awkward behavior, but by the looks of things and the rest of the people she met so far, everyone seemed to be quite friendly. Almost like they were practically good friends after a first meeting already. She gave another awkward smile, envisioning the worst case scenario in her head as the flygon girl imagined Koru triggering another anxious fit again. Her thoughts were proven wrong as she immediately grasped Ashley's hand in hers and greeted her in a polite and optimistic way. The contact made Ashley feel a warmth on her face, not noticing as a blush appeared. Was the action something friends did often, or was she just like this always? Either way it went, Ashley was much too busy trying not to be awkward and not able to bring out the question that was on her mind. "Th-Thank you! Really...Thank you. E-Everyone's nice here." The red haired girl paused, reaching to show Koru more of the stuffed animal with her. It was certainly a childish thing for somebody to do, but she was much too focused on her first few weeks here. She had difficulty getting used to new places, and her brother always claimed that it helped him feel better when homesick a lot. "My older brother had this. My mother works as a part time tailor. She made this for him after one of his favorite fairy tales she told him." The female took a minutes before exhaling, looking down at the Mudkip by her feet. "I miss being home."
After her chat, she remained busy on finding that Marcus person she was to battle against for the duration of the remaining class time. She heard her name being called as she hurried over towards the boy. He had brown hair and looked like a pretty serious trainer. Her aspirations for winning were already low, any hope of her doing well against him felt as if they would be crushed at this point. Azure seemed pretty nonchalant about being ready to fight another pokemon, the Mudkip waving his fins about before looking over at Marcus' companions. Ashley stood before the boy calling her name, a very pained and doubtful expression on her face. "Errr, yeah. Ah-I'm Ashley. Are you Marcus? It's nice to meet you." Her eyes focused on Azure again, feeling sorry for what she was about to put him through. He seemed just too innocent to fight. She bit her lip and looked back up at the boy. "Please don't hurt Azure too badly. He's still new to battling..." Her tone sounded quite concerned for her new friend, furrowing her brows and hoping that he would forgive her. She awaited her opponent to give the go ahead that he was ready, silently hoping everything would turn out okay.

Despite Jung-Su's display of isolation, the girl continued to speak to him. A beginning of an introduction was heard before an abrupt and inconclusive end leaving him to feel all the more guilty and empty. Apologies his social ineptitude filled his thoughts yet never left his mouth. Soon after the teacher appeared with an announcement. He spoke of another teacher feeling ill thus having the need to combine classes. To his knowledge there was no one he knew in that other class but then again he didn't know many people to begin with. The happy-go-lucky girl he had met at the festivial popped into his head momentarily. The likelihood of her being in the other class were small and even if she were there she most likely wouldn't want to associate with him. Who would want to? Thinking that the most interesting part of him was his Pokemon. Regardless doing as he was told the lad picked up his belongings and trotted to the aforementioned area alone and behind everyone else.

The walk to the campsite was uneventful though the relaxing sounds of nature calmed the lad. He had arrived taken aback by the number of students all in one area. The lad chose to rest himself far far away from bodies of groups and awaited further instruction. As the area was full up, the teacher explained what the students would be learning for class. The lad took out his notepad, jotting down the importance of weather for Pokemon battles. At the end of Mr. Reyes talking he mentioned that what they just learned would be put into practice now pairing students up. He hadn't a clue as to who was this Ray person and therefore didn't know how or where to look. Even if he could scream, his voice was too meek to project at long distances making getting attention quite a difficult task. Brown eyes watched for anyone who seemed to be alone. "I-I-I'm p-paired up w-w-with Ray..." The lad said with hesitation to no one in particular though wishing that his words would find their way that person.

Nirav certainly wasn’t one for cold weather. Maria assumed that pretty quickly. Perhaps she should have kept the part about the weather getting colder to herself. Then again he would have found out eventually. Maria nodded at his question. “It won’t happen for another month or so.” She assured him as best she could. Maybe she could find some way of helping him out come the winter season. She’d think about it. Sounded like a fun brainstorming project for her and her Pokémon.
Luckily with Mr. Reyes’ Ninetales out of his pokéball the weather warmed up. It would certainly give them all temporary relief from the crisp weather. When practice battles rolled around Maria found out she was paired up with Xia-tian. As it turned out neither knew each other. Funny enough that real beast of a Pokémon that Koru mentioned has come running over to the girl and her fighting type. Cute little barks in greeting. Lillipup might not have met them but the noise knows.
Maria found herself running after her puppy Pokémon. Lillipup’s tail wagged happily as she got more affection. This was turning out to be a great day for the pup. Her trainer’s day was still up for debate. Though, a battle with someone knew never hurt. “Yeah, she is.” Maria answered Xia-tian. “You’re Xia-tian right? I’m Maria.” She introduced with a small smile. “It… looks like we’ll be partners.” She added. Espurr was still in her arms, his giant saucer eyes on Fong. He’s never seen one before and wondered if it was nice. It looked nice… But would that mean he’d be battling with it? Maria had said he’d be battling today. He definitely had butterfrees or perhaps beautiflies in his stomach.
“I’ll be using Espurr today… It’s his first battle so he’s a little nervous. I thought it might be good for him to try.” Maria explained to Xia-tian. He might like it. If he didn’t well she wouldn’t make him do it again. It was one of the reasons she took battle class in the first place Lillipup loved the idea of battling. It was too soon to tell with Espurr. He was curious about things but unsure at the same time.

It didn't take very long for the pink haired girl to bound off in his direction. Nirav never had to talk to Tera before, and honestly, that didn't upset him. She seemed loud and chatty, and Nirav usually tried to avoid people like that. But as fate would have it, he was forced to battle her. Nirav watched as she flipped a coin before addressing him. What was the coin for? While she never explained it, at least she seemed nice. "U-Uh, yeah. You too," Nirav said quietly.
Nirav and Raja, with a small nod, backed up so the battle would have some space. The feeling of the sun beating down on his body felt nice compared to the harsh chill that was around just moments before. Maybe finding a pokemon with the ability Drought would be useful during the winter. But what pokemon even knew it? Nirav made a note to find out. In the mean time, he looked down to Raja. "Ready?"Nirav asked. Raja replied quietly, but firmly. "Eevee." (Yeah.) Giving his pokemon some space, Nirav stepped back, looking to Tera to see if she was ready to go. Nirav hoped this would go better than the battle at the tournament in Lamia District. While he hadn't gotten to practice with Cyril yet, the boy remained determined to give it his all. Raja, though nervous as to what to expect, tried to remain calm. It was a lot easier to stay relaxed in class than it had been at the stadium fighting. There were far less people staring at you in a little campsite than in a big stadium.

Ray just waited silently in place, as he hugged Marcus's partner closer. He was actually a lot softer than he thought it would be, in a way it was like a bit plush doll. He wouldn't tell this to anyone, but often times when he was distressed his sister would sit with him and hug him close. This sort of reminded him of times like that. He cuddled a bit closer to the pokemon, plus it didn't seem like he minded much. He watched as Marcus socialized with the other students, Ray wished he was more outgoing. His sister probably would have dragged him over to the group. Not that he's have liked that, it would have been very awkward for him. However, as more students piled in he was surprised to see an adult and a bunch of other student come into the area. He didn't know any of them that were supposed to be in this class. Of course he recognized a few, but his eyes wandered to the ground. He silently listened to what the teacher was saying, and sighed. So much for survival class, guess they were battling. Not that he was any good at it anyways.
It was then that they were assigned partners, and he had no idea who his partner was after all the guy wasn't in his class. He slowly placed Marcus's pokemon to the side, petting his head softly as he told him to wait for Marcus, before wandering around. He rubbed his arm shyly, looking around. He heard someone stutter his name, and so he turned to see who it was that had said his name. He noticed a boy with brown hair, and tilted his head to the side "er... that's uh.. me..." he replied. He slowly walked over "sorry... I'm not a uh... very good battler er... sorry" he mumbled again, still nervous.

It looked like that he didn't miss much as he saw people finding their battle partner. A group of curious people approached the ninetales. One of them talked to the boy who also came in late beside him. He didn't recognaize any of them, so he kept to himself. The ninetales was more interesting. hmm... wasn't there a mention of weather before? Cyril tried to recall. He didn't heard it clearly and he was quite winded from running earlier. perhaps, he looked up toward the sky and had to shield his eyes from the bright sunlight. Sunny day it seemed, although he won't notice the move being used, normally, if he didn't know that the weather was messed with beforehand.
When the other boy finished talking with his friend, he greeted Cyril. "Cyril," Cyril introduced himself. He didn't care to who he got paired with. However, he did take the time to observe Josh. From outdoor class, he guessed, since he was sure there weren't anyone named Josh in his battle class. He followed suit to release his pokemon of choice, a sneasel, "Meet my sneasel, Siegrid." The sneasel tensed when he saw Tatiana. He recognized he was going to battle.
"Well . . . " Cyril was unsure how to explain. "just try it, y'know, like, tell him to use some move and go from there," he shrugged, being unhelpful. "This is Siegrid's first battle too. If that makes it better," he let Josh know. not that it will make much difference, in fact, he was glad that Siegrid won't be overwhelmed at least if it was truly Josh's first battle. Tatiana had fearsome appearance with that huge jaw, but its arms was stubby. He could say that the pokemon would be good at biting and running, if those powerful legs were any indication. Cyril flipped on his pokegear for more information, "Tyrunt, the Royal Heir Pokémon.This Pokémon was restored from a fossil. Tyrunt's jaws are so big and powerful, it can crunch up a car. If it doesn't like something, it responds with a wild tantrum." He was surprised to find out that Tatiana is a fossil pokemon. Those type were very rare as one needed a fossil and find people to restore it to get one. Its typing of rock dragon adding to how troublesome the pokemon was. Unfortunately, Siegrid didn't learn any ice type yet. Cyril, of course, didn't say anything about it. There was no need for Josh to know about that. "I am ready when you are," Cyril said as they took their respective place to start.

Tera watched as the coin she threw flipped in the air. Her two Pokemon were curious as to what was happening and stared at the coin as well. Thinking that the coin had spun enough, the girl caught it with her right hand and laid it flat on top of her left hand, covering it with the hand she caught it with. Tera took a quick peek before looking at her Pokemon. "Hehehe! Looks like yer up Hoppu!" The Charizard girl said with a wide grin while pointing towards her green ball bird Pokemon. The coin had spoken!
Hoppu looked confused at first seeing as he wasn't paying much attention to what the humans were saying, but after Flare had explained it to him, he nervously nodded. The Natu had never been in a real battle before. He did participate in a few spars against Flare whenever the three had free time, but nothing serious against a stranger. Tera and Hoppu both knew that they both needed to fight others to actually grow as a team and what better way to start than a practice battle! After being called upon and briefed by Flare, the Natu took his place in front of his trainer, flapping his wings and battle ready.
"That's the spirit!" Seeing as Hoppu was ready, the girl looked at their opponents. It looked like Nirav was going to use an Eevee, wondering if his Pokemon would be able to take advantage of the sunny weather. She also wondered if her own Pokemon would too. What better time to learn this than now!

Hoppu flapped his tiny wings, ready and waiting for Tera to give out a command. While he was feeling ready, he was still pretty nervous; both he and his trainer hadn't fought an Eevee before so he wasn't too sure what to expect. All he knew is that he trusted Tera's intuition or at the very least, he wanted too. "Alrighty! Les have a good battle guys!" She said, facing Nirav and his Eevee before directing her attention to her Natu. "Hoppu, les start this thing up with a leer attack!" Upon receiving the girl's command, the little bird Pokemon let out a small battle cry before swiftly hopping towards the brown bushy tailed Pokemon. Movements were limited to the middle and low ground for the bird since his wings were still far to small to carry his weight, but that didn't stop him from trying! "Naatu!" The flightless bird Pokemon took a larger hop into the air when he was within close eye range, desperately hoping to keep to the skies as he attempted to land an attack. It came as no surprise that his attempt had failed. Try as he might to stay in the sky, he ultimately landed right in front of the Eevee. A little saddened by the result, the wide eyed bird Pokemon quietly whimpered, but still managed to launch his attack. Hoppu fiercely glared at the Eevee at point blank range, perhaps a little too close. Seeing the effort that her Natu put into his attempt, the girl couldn't help but try to encourage him. "Nice fighto Hop! You stayed a little up a little longer compared to the last time!"

Josh nodded to the blue haired boy, who sent out a black pokemon with long claws. His heart skipped a beat at the sight of those claws, he knew what battling meant, but he wasn't sure about letting Tatiana get hurt. Since he had his pokegear out, he opened the pokedex function and aimed it at the pokemon as he'd seen some of the other students do.
“Sneasel, the sharp claw pokemon. This pokemon is known to drive pidgey from their nests and feast on the abandoned eggs.” Josh wasn’t sure how that was supposed to help, but at least he knew that now, whatever it was worth.
“That’s a really cool pokemon!” He called out, hoping he didn't seem as awkward as he felt. It wasn't a lie, the pokemon had a very cool, almost mean appearance, but it wasn't as scary as one might have expected.
“Tatiana, use…” Josh trailed off, flipping back to the list of moves the pokemon knew. He flipped through the pages, panicking slightly. “Uh, use bite!” He nearly yelled, sweat running down the back of his neck. It wasn't entirely from the sunlight.
Tatiana, for her part, didn't hesitate. She stopped mid yawn, her eyes narrowing on the black pokemon before her. Her brown hide rippled as she shook her flank. Then, like a bullet, she took off, her feet thumping as they struck the well-trodden ground of the campsite. A few trails of dirt that hadn’t already fallen off created a cloud behind the fossil pokemon, and Josh smiled. His mother had told him several times that Tatiana was special, but he never really understood it until she’d gotten into action.
“Runt!” Tatiana proclaimed as she closed the gap by leaping forward. She landed with her legs spread so she could stay low to the ground. Jaws spread wide as she tilted her head, the movement seeming impossibly slow as Tatiana leaned forward, and then…
The jaws snapped shut with wicked force. The sound was akin to the snap of a branch, and it was over faster than Josh could follow. Tatiana jumped back, closer to her trainer and looked over her shoulder. He could have sworn she was smiling. The fossil pokemon seemed to to be more awake than she’d been in a long while, at least.
“Great job, Tatiana!” Josh called, and Tatiana stretched out in pleasure at the praise.

Marcus waved at Marco as the boy took Koru's hand and led her away. The boy's answer had been very...consice. Not for the first time Marcus got the feeling Kitsuragi just didn't like talking to him much. He seemed to just want to talk to Tera..was it because Tera was a girl? Marcus quickly dismissed the notion. Boys and girls weren't different from each other, everyone knew that. Marco seemed way too smart to treat them differently. ( like some of the boys at his old school who got all weird and even mean about girls..yeah that was weird.) It wasn't like consice answers bothered Marcus anyways. He'd be more than willing to keep the conversation going even if Marco was short. He did it with Ray all the time after all. And anyways Tera was wishing them good luck and Josh was talking to him. Marcus smiled when his room mate who seemed to share his enthusiasm about the ninetales "Right?! It's awesome!" looking at the ninetales inadvertedly meant he looked at Mr. Reyes. Marcus' eyes widened as he realized where else he had seen the battle teacher. He kissed Ms. Floros at the dance!...he's the one Harv got all bent outta shape about. He thought blushing a bit at the thought..it wasn't the kind of kiss he had seen around school ( they were six graders at 11 after all so some of the boys in his class had kissed a girl) or even what he saw with his parents..it was more like some of his cousins but more intense. Marcus still hadn't figured out how he felt about what he had seen. Harvey had been upset but Marcus hadn't gotten why...and Ms. Floros hadn't seemed happy either...had she not been wanting a kiss? He kept these thoughts to himself, like his mom always said, a cubone that carried a bone would fetch a bone. (It was a weird saying and he never got it except that it meant you shouldn't spread gossip and should mind your business) He smiled a bit when Josh said he hoped Tatiana listened to him. "She usually does doesn't she? It'll be fine" Josh like Tera eventually left for his battle and Marcus found his usual group of friends diminished to just him Elijah and Evelyn. "And then there were 3" he muttered just as the same red-haired girl came up to him. Apparently she was Ashley and Marcus would be battling her. "good luck you guys. Meet back here after the battle?" With a wave and a bumpfist to Elijah Marcus turned to face his battle partner. "Hey nice to meet cha, what'd you think of the ninetales?" he said giving the girl friendly grin, he noticed she was kinda shy..kinda like Ray so he smiled at her and kept his expression amicable and friendly. "we don't usually get battles in outdoor class so my pokemon haaven't really battled either...I'm sure it'll be fine tho don worry about it" His eyes inmediatly lit up when he saw her starter, as he leaned down to look at Azure. "Oh hey it's a mudkip! I love those! Their fins can detect water currents..plus they're kinda adorable, swim really cool too." Once they were at a place they could battle Phillip stood in front of Marcus, looking around a bit confusedly since he had never battled before. "You go first Ashley" he said putting his hands behind his head and smiling at the girl-it was a friendly battle after all "I kinda don't really know what to do yet" he said as he waited for Ashley to start the battle

Nirav looked to Tera in a little confusion as she pulled out a pokemon he had never seen before. He immediately pulled out his Pokedex to scan it, finding out that this weird bird - if it even was a bird, that is - was a Natu. He hadn't ever seen something like that where he was from. Despite how strange it looked, Nirav wasn't going to underestimate it just yet. As Tera called out for Leer, Nirav watched as it moved up close and gazed deep in the eyes of Raja. Surely, it was a little intimidating, even from where Nirav was standing.
Nirav took a second to think through his course of action. Leer lowered Defense, right? Or was it Special Defense? Raja didn't have the move, so Nirav wasn't sure. It certainly left Raja looking a little chilled, that was for sure. Either way, the boy saw an opportunity, with those large eyes Hoppu had been giving Raja. "Quick, Raja! Use Sand Attack!" While Nirav was definitely louder than when he first ever battled, what he considered to be shouting was a lot quieter than those of the other students around him. Audible, but it could be easily drowned out by the sounds of his peers. Thankfully, Raja did hear the call. The Eevee kicked up some of the dirt around the campsite, aiming right at Hoppu's eyes. Nirav hoped it would prevent some hits being landed on Raja in the future, but did start thinking about his next move as he waited to hear something from Tera. Nirav felt calm about the whole battle thus far; this was his third after all. He had a better handle on all of Raja's moves except for one: Stored Power. If Raja was powered up, it would supposedly do more, but Nirav hadn't ever tried it before. Was now a good time to try it? Or would it be better to try it with Cyril later? It was certainly something the boy considered.
Round 1: Hoppu uses Leer -- Raja's defense is lowered 1 stage Raja uses Sand Attack -- 100% accuracy, so no roll needed.

Good, good! Ashley and Koru are getting along just fine. Smiling, Xiatian silently took note of their interaction. Knowing the former was accepted late into the academy, she wanted to make her feel welcomed as much as possible. The Charizard girl remembered her first time arriving to the academy; she had met Koru at Lamia Train Station and hit it off right at the start. She was more than sure that Koru would be a good influence to the flygon girl than she could be. When Koru mentioned about the week going to be the death of her, Xiatian had a look of confusion for a moment before realization dawned on her. Ah, she must mean the thing that happened between her and the Ray boy. “No worry, Koru. We are friends right? Just give a head-up next time.” She said reasurredly to her friend. Hearing from Koru that Mr. Reyes would be teaching Outdoor class as well as Battle class, Xiatian wondered what today’s lesson will be about.
Feeling a pair of feet step on her head, Fong opened one eye to look at the perpetrator. It was a red bird called Fletchling. It appeared not to like her treatment towards its friend, the Cyndaquil. Fong could barely care of what it had to say. If the echidna had a problem with her, then he could take it up to her and stand up for himself. No need for little bird to act like his mom and be overprotective. Of course, Cyndaquil didn’t like being treated like a lounge chair and showed it through his crying, but Fong pretended not to hear him and pushed her luck to see what would happen. She didn’t expect him to grow a backbone, but he did shortly later by heating up the spot on his back without lighting the fire at all. The feeling was like putting one’s hand on a kitchen stove heating up, but Fong having experienced bathing in hot spring and lying on sand at Lavaridge Town noticed the change in temperature and felt one corner of her mouth lift up slightly. She then literally sweeped the bird off its feet. Soon, she jumped off of the ‘chair’ and stretched her back before slinging her arm over his neck and whispering,“Next time, if you’re going to attack, don’t hold back. Take them by surprise. You ain’t gonna win by making alittle burnt here and there. Oh and don’t think I will overlook this.” Her half-lidded gaze stared into his chinese-like ones. “Watch out in our next battle, ‘Cyndy’.” Then she walked away.
Xiatian along with the rest of the class clapped her hands in applause for the students who had competed in the Lamia Tournament when the battle teacher mentioned about them. She sent a smile to Koru’s way and held two thumbs up in a gesture saying ‘good job’. Mr. Reyes then proceeded to begin teaching today’s lesson about hidden nature of pokemon and call out one of his pokemon which revealed to be a Ninetales. That was one regal Ninetales she met for the first time. She had only seen several Vulpixs during one of her visits to her father’s workplace and some of them had been injured and stayed in environment-controlled area, waiting to be released back into nature. Back then, it didn’t cross her mind that they could evolve into such elegant pokemon, but today she finally saw one. She chuckled softly at the look of excitement on her Salamence friend’s face as the girl couldn’t contain it upon seeing the fire fox. The Drought changed the weather at compsite to sunny and Mr. Reyes told them that they would be paired up to battle each other. Xiatain got paired up with a girl named Maria.
“A beast?” At the eerie look on Koru’s face, Xiatian blinked her eyes a couple of times and waved at the retreating back of each of her friends before mumbled softly to herself. “..but isn’t all pokemon a beast?” Especially the untamed ones in the wild. Fong simply walked to her side and kept her eyes look out for a Lillipup. It didn’t take long for one to come into their view and run over to them, followed closely by a brown-haired girl wearing a Flygon uniform. Xiatian simply smiled at the introduction and said, “Yes, you and me are partners. Nice to meet you, Maria.” She held one hand out for a handshake. “Koru just tell me about you, She says your Lillipup is a beast.” Which she didn’t really get it yet. Feeling a pair of eyes on her, Fong’s gaze on the puppy traveled away upward to the other girl’s arms where an Espurr was being held comfortably. Those large, round eyes watched her in interest and Fong raised one eyebrow. “Hey, why are you being held in her arms? Can’t you walk?”She said exactly what she thought upon seeing him.
“That…” Those sky-blue orbs widened slightly in small respect building up for her. “..is considerate of you! No worry, Fong and me will make it a good training for him. Right, Fong?” She looked briefly at Fong who knitted eyebrows together and nodded relunctantly. Was the girl telling her to hold back for the purple cat? That wasn’t her style at all and she wasn’t used to something alike to teaching that needed a lot of patience. But she could try.“What’s your birth name?”
“Does he have a name?” Xiatian asked curiously. After the small exchange of conversation, they moved to a small area that wasn’t occupied by others and shortly began their battle. “Go ahead and move like the wind, Fong!” At those words, the weasel took her place at the middle of their ‘battlefield’, waiting for further command.

Fong got into her fighting stance as she kept her eyes on her current opponent. She then waited for an order. Xiatian proceeded to check her pokedex for information on Espurr. She had never met this species before and was feeling very curious. Of course, she also want to be helpful to Fong when guiding her through the battle. Her pokegear soon scanned the feline and then produced a monotone voice through speakers. “Espurr, the Restraint Pokémon. Espurr's Psychic energy can travel hundreds of feet, blasting everything around it”
“A psychic pokemon? Not a surprise there…” Xiatian had guessed that the Espurr would be a species that specialized in special attack, judged by its build. Fong was a good example to what a fighting type should look like. Additionally, there was something about his stare that reminded her of her mother’s gardevoir who seemed to be able to read her so easily whenever she wanted something or headed to somewhere in the forest. Internally Xiatian started to worry alittle for her partner. It would be hard to land a hit on him when he could attack her without approaching. Would Fong be blasted away by the feline’s psychic power? “Alright, let’s go with this. Fong, use Detect!” Ruby eyes flashed as the only sign of a move executed, Fong stood there waiting. She was ready to move whenever her opponent made a move to attack. Xiatian smiled and waved at Maria. “Okay, your turn!” Just in case they were wondering why the mienfoo hadn’t attacked them yet.

↳My location... Campsite, battle site. ↳My Outfit... Salamance Uniform, summer shirt below the blazer. ↳Those near me... Josh, other. ↳Pokemon you see me with... Siegrid, the sneasel is battling.
Cyril was patient to let Josh have the first move. One he was regretting. The Tyrunt kicked the ground and shot forth with a bite before either of them could react. Certainly he didn't expect such enthusiastic fight from the get go. "Siegrid, are you alright?" Cyril asked in worry when he saw how Tyrunt's big jaw clamped on his sneasel. "Sne sneasel," the pokemon nodded while giving the tyrunt a renewed evaluation. Bite was a dark type move, so he didn't get as much damage from it as it normally would. The move strangely pack quite a bite despite his resistance though. It won't do to be negligent and Cyril knew it would be his lost if he did. Gone were his relaxed stance, changing to attention.
"Your tyrunt is strong. If this is your first battle, I dread to see how it will be in the future," he spoke up his honest thought. He had thought he wanted to test some of Siegrid's move to see how his opponent dealt with them, but now, he couldn't play around. Taunt didn't seem like a good idea to use at the moment with what he saw of the tyrunt. He shuddered at the image of rampaging tyrunt.
"Siegrid, Feint attack," Cyril called out his move. There weren't much choice as quick attack won't be effective to a rock type. He could try leer, but he somewhat wanted to retaliate for that bite attack. Siegrid also agreed with Cyril's choice. The sneasel rushed toward the tyrunt, then a copies of himself jumped forward. Siegrid used it to cover his change of direction for a slash to tyrunt's unguarded side while she was distracted. Satisfying sound of claws scraping rocks resounded in the area.

"Tatiana, are you ok?" Josh asked as the pokemon took a solid hit from the sneasel. The cuts didn't seem to be deep, and Tatiana let out a huff, but didn't relax her stance. Josh sighed in relief, and turned back to his pokegear. The sound the claws had made seemed worse than Josh expected, and he was worried that Tatiana's thick hide hadn't done much, if anything, to help reduce the damage.
"Thanks," Josh called across the battlefield after Cyril said Tatiana was powerful. He beamed in delight, but it wasn't time to talk, he had a battle to focus on. "Your pokemon is amazing! How did it do that?" Josh wondered just what sort of stuff Tatiana would be able to do someday, if a fox pokemon could make it super hot and that little black pokemon could make copies of itself, what would Tatiana do?
What should he do? Tatiana had given the opponent a good chomp, even the other trainer had seemed impressed with her, so Josh looked over the other moves she knew. Tail whip? According to the list, it lowered defense. Josh wasn't sure what that meant, and roar didn't seem too promising either. Bide was full of terms, but he wasn't sure he wanted Tatiana to sit and wait while she was being beat up on.
Since bite had worked so well, he went with it again. "Tatiana, do it again! Bite the other pokemon!"
Tatiana opened her maw, revealing a large pink tongue. She proceeded to chase after the sneasel, looking a bit like a large puppy before she darted forward and snapped her jaws shut. It didn't seem that sunlight was doing much for this fight, so Josh decided to focus on the fight itself.
