Lily would grab the camera, draping the strap around her neck before flying into the back room for a few minutes waiting for the film to develop. It didn't take long and when it was done, she came back and handed Dante the pictures that were on there.
Tapping some more on the laptops, he would pause for a second and glance at the Pansear that had been released. Taking his time to stare intently at the pokemon, he would take in it's size and overall state of being before turning back to look at the photographs in his hand. Dismissing those things, he would turn his attention back to the screen, never once bothering to look at Alex. Why, the boy hadn't even been able to introduce who he may be or what his name was. "Oh? A Groudon you say? Did you also see a flying Larvitar as well? " the man said with a sigh. It was obvious that his Professor would not believe his story without proof. Kids these days and making up excuses. Though stating a legendary was icing on the cake. "Do you have any other reports about your time on the island? Perhaps some that don't involve unsubstantiated Legendary claims?"After continuing his rapid typing, he would finally look up to stare directly at Alex looking at him intently.
He took in the state of the kid and a tsk tsk noise escaped from his lips. "A word of caution: As Tricksters, we are supposed to protect our bodies, for they are the defenses for what is most important: our minds." He paused, wondering how best to put it so that this student would understand. "While your... dedication to exploration is admirable on some level, you would do well to have a better understanding of your limitations. Begin with an end in mind; there is no point in accomplishing a mission if you have no exit strategy."

He didn't like being mocked, but if he'd taken a picture of it with the camera, he'd hopefully believe then. Not that he intended to go back without being more than prepared... "None that you probably haven't heard before, sir..." It was mostly standard pokemon on the island, and there were likely plenty of reports in the past there. Nothing came to mind he thought might interest the professor, none that he had proof of anyway.
He listened intently when the professor finally looked at him. Having a plan would be important, yes. But there were surprises, regardless of if others believed in them happening. "Understood, I'll try to plan ahead better in the future."
"Before sending you on a proper mission, I would like to assess your abilities under the closer gaze of the Academy's watchful eye." He paused, staring down his glasses at Alex. "Consider it a remedial course. If you complete this mission without being knocked unconscious, I may revise my analysis of you."He would reach into a drawer in his desk and pull out a apple which he would hand to the Emolga perched back on his shoulder who took it happily.
"Be careful; next time you allow yourself to be destroyed, you may find you've lost more than just some physical comfort. And lastly...would you like to give me a name? Presumbly, you've figured out that I am Professor Genovese; according to Viola, you read the letter I left for you." At the mention of her name, the Purrloin looked over and flicked her tail in acknowledgement of the statement agreeing.

He nodded at the opportunity to change the professor's opinion of him. He'd need to be more careful this time, and make use of his and his pokemons' skills. He glanced at the apple, expecting something else to be pulled from the drawer. Likely a snack for his pokemon. "Yes. My name is Alex Trevell." He half expected the professor to know of him, but perhaps he didn't have a face to put to a name. Plus, it was good to have a proper introduction now.
Alistair opened the door carefully, taking a step into the room "Professor Genovese, I- ah." Another student. Male, dark hair, shorter than himself (though frankly, Alistair was more "uncomfortably gangly" than "tall"), and presumably another Trickster. He swallowed some annoyance, instead glancing between the two of them. "My apologies. Should I wait outside?" His politeness was primarily for the Professor's sake.
((I'm truly sorry you've had to wait this long! We're down a mod for an indefinite period of time, so I'll be taking over for parts of the Trickster class.))
Dante ignored the entering student in favor of pulling three items out of his desk. "I'd like you to deliver these packages. First, to the Pokemon Center--" here he motioned to a package that seemed to be a bottle wrapped in thick brown paper, "-- then to the PokeMart--" he pointed to a box that jingled when Viola batted it, and to the Longinus Class Professor." This last was a lumpy package leaking an ominous dark liquid. "Deliver these promptly, and return here for your next assignment. Oh, and given the recent rash of thefts, I'd suggest you keep an eye out. And don't take what isn't yours. "
That bit of bluntness over with, the Professor turned his attention to the second student. "Blackwell. Report?"
Alex briefly glanced over to the other student, turning his attention back to the professor. There were three packages, each with a different location to go to. He made a mental note of where to take each, carefully placing them into his bag. He didn't expect there to be thieves, but it at least made him feel like he was more than a delivery boy at this point. More like a courier or some such. Regardless, he had to make up for his mistakes from his previous mission. "Alright, heading out now." He'd make his way to the Longinus Class professor first, as it seemed to be leaky. The others he could take to the center and mart on the way out.
Nikki walked into the classroom with Ari sitting on her bag, though it looked like the squirtle was riding on her shoulder. She looked around the classroom, wondering where the professor was. She couldn't see anyone really, so she called out. "Excuse me, is anyone here? Professor? My name is Nikita Richards, I'm part of the Trickster class." Nikki said, introducing herself. She noticed the door that said Do Not Enter, and like any good samaritan, she didn't move towards it.....though she was sorely tempted.
Nikki's proclaimation would go ignored for several long minutes; indeed, no one was in the room, not even one of Dante's Pokemon. Perhaps she'd come to the wrong place?
But no; a figure would burst out of the off-limits door. A young woman, grease smudged on her arms, coughing a bit of smoke, and somewhat disoriented. Catching her breath and resting against the desk, she took a moment to gather herself before looking up at the student. "H-hey there!" she coughed, flashing a wide smile. "Sorry, there's a bit of experimenting going on, and Dante's busy. It's all right. Probably." She paused, flinching as a low boom echoed from behind the door. "Mostly. Are you a new student or a returning one? Ah, sorry." She straightened out, offering a hand. "Pretty sure we haven't met; I'm Harper Sinclair, Dante's teaching assistant. What's your name?" .

In the Garden of Monsters
Nikki was on the verge of walking out of the classroom, quite sure that she was in the wrong place, when a young woman came out of the off limits door. Both Nikki and Ari were taken aback by the girl's appearance, but said nothing about it. However, she did flinch a bit (much like Harper) when the low boom echoed from behind the door. "I'm a new student, my name is Nikita Richards but feel free to call me Nikki." Nikki said, introducing herself again. Now Nikki was more curious than ever to see behind the door, but she was able to keep herself under control.
"Ah, cool, cool!" Harper nodded, gathering her thoughts. "Let's see... new student protocols! She reached over the desk, digging through the draws in a careless manner that would have annoyed her superior. "Like I said, I'm not the Professor here-- that's Dante Genovese, who's a bit busy at the moment. He's the head of the Trickster Class, which you are now entering! But before you're officially a member of the class, you gotta-- ugh, he labels everything else, why aren't these?-- complete this first mission! Ah-HA!"
She straightened back up, bearing an armful of items. "Here's your supplies! Three Pokeballs, one Potion, aaaaaaand a camera!" She counted them off as she placed them on the desk . "So! Mission! You're going to go to the Island of New Beginnings, and you have to catch at least one Pokemon. You also have to take picture of an special evolutionary stone. Don't worry, the island is dotted by them." She bite her lip debating. "Oh! And you get to the Island by taking the stairs behind the Pokemon Center and going down to the docks. Just wait there, there'll be someone to escort you there soon!" Harper nodded, satisfied. "Any questions?"

Both Ari and Nikki were a little bit confused by Harper, but said nothing. Strangely enough, Nikki was able to follow what Harper was saying. She silently accepted the supplies she was given for her first mission and put them in her bag. "No, I believe I got it." Nikki said, when Harper asked if she had any questions. Nikki nodded and then turned on her heel, leaving the room. It was of to her first mission.
