Alex wandered through the Academy, looking for his classroom. Upon finally finding it, the door was partially open. This was indeed the room he was supposed to head to. He pulled his hood down and headed in, Raiden following closely, and he looked around for any kind of movement, or life. "Hellooo?" No sign of the professor, but there was a sign that said 'Do Not Enter.' Definitely odd to see in the classroom.

As the boy entered the room with his Electrike, a pair of eyes watched from above. The kids were getting slightly smarter with resisting the urge to try and enter the room that was clearly marked NOT to enter. If he had approached the door, he would have seen it was closed shut with a "Do Not Enter" and a second sign that said "Currently on an Errand!" Whatever the case, the Professor was not actually in the classroom. Perhaps something important had come up. Or he was sleeping. Who knew. Regardless, the pair of eyes moved out of the shadows and leapt down landing nimbly on the teacher's desk. It was a Purrloin! She began digging through one of the drawers and then came out with a letter. Grabbing the letter, she then placed it on the desk in front of the newest Trickster student. If he opened it, the letter would say:

Your first mission will be to travel to The Island of New Beginnings. There you must catch a pokemon to add to your team. As well as find and take a picture of an evolution stone. You'll be able to tell what it is when you see it. Go to the pokemon center and behind it, there will be a long flight of stairs leading downward. Take those and it will lead to the docks. Your ride to the island will be waiting there. Viola here will give you the supplies you need for this journey.

Signed,
Professor Dante Genovese

Meanwhile the cat pokemon had been busy. On top of the Professor's desk was three pokeballs, a potion and a Snap Shot Camera. Once he gathered all his supplies, he was free to go. Pleased with herself, the cat began to nonchalantly groom a paw.

After a moment, a pokemon popped up out of seemingly nowhere. It didn't seem wild, it was just an odd sight for some reason. Almost out of place. The pokemon began looking for something, pulling out what looked like a piece of paper. Perhaps the pokemon was here in place of the professor for whatever reason. Walking over, he took it. "Thank you for this." Giving a slight smile, his attention turned to the contents of the letter. Upon reading it, he at least had a name for the pokemon, as well as an objective. "Thanks again, Viola."

Taking the items, he stowed them away into his bag, and made his way toward the destination. First the pokemon center, then The Island of New Beginnings.

The boy was extremely curious. He should have simply gone to his class, but after meeting Poppy, he was interested in learning more about the other classes and what he is allowed to do here. So, he had decided the best place to gain a better sense of things must be the Trickster class first. Maybe, smarter trainers and their professors aren't so quick to attack or be defensive like the other two.

He would knock on the door before finding it open and enter.

"Hello."

He calls out lightly and waited to see if he would get an answer of if silences itself would be enough to turn him away. Shiloh didn't know, but it only made sense that he would try and find out.

As the boy would enter the room, the first thing he would see would be that the classroom have a wall full of bookshelves and books. The other two walls were covered in different maps of all the regions and places. Dante would continue typing at his computer at his desk and not even look at the kid who had just entered his room. A Purrloin glanced at the boy who had entered from atop a bookshelf and an Emolga was perched on Dante's shoulder chewing on a poffin.

Without looking up, the gray haired Professor would speak. "You have a Sunflora, Trubbish and Jolteon. Give me an invasion strategy based off those if you were planning on entering enemy territory." It was random trivia? Or maybe this was how Dante treated all his students. At most, the Professor hadn't kicked Shiloh out of the classroom....yet. Nor had he realized he wasn't supposed to be here.

Shiloh's eyes went around the mess of a room or at least what he saw as a mess in his eyes. Two pokemon were out on display, one high above his head and the other perch on the shoulder of the professor. It didn't seem very threatening, but the boy could see the advantages of their positions.

He couldn't easily get the drop on the man, and with the Purloin above he would more than likely have to be ware of an attack as well as the defense the Emolga would put up. Then again, it just might be at random as his eyes fell on the grey hair man even as he spoke.

Shiloh would put his hands into his pocket.

He wasn't this man's student, so he really didn't have to answer.

He wasn't a show off either, but then again, he was in someone's else class. Maybe, this was the toll that had to be paid to be in here, since, according to Poppy it was obvious he belonged in another class.

Shiloh decided to answer.

"I would actually need more information to plan an successful invasion, like what is the enemy territory, who is the enemy, and why do I want to enter their land? But, considering you aren't telling me all of that, I will just make assumption."

He would tell him first.

"I wouldn't start off invading any place without knowledge of the land. Thus, if I have a Sunflora I would make sure it knew sweet scent that way I can summon Pokemon from the enemy territory. I would capture a few or if it's feasible convince a few wild ones to give me a better lay out of the land and to spy on the enemy."

"I would wait until their numbers are down or until they are off guard and attack. I would use the Trubbish to force them out of their base with Poison Gas and set up traps around the compound using toxic spikes. I would have the Jolteon lead them on a merry chase away from the base and into my own trap arena by using flash to get them to chase it and to dodge any efforts to capture if they get to close.

With them away, I would simply secure or destroy their base. That would force them into an uncomfortable situation where I can pick them off at my own pace.

But, that is only if I am able to gather information. Otherwise, an invasion of their lands would be impossible."

Shiloh would finish up. He would look at the man in front of him.

"Though, since you asked me a question, I would like to ask one as well. What makes this class different from any of the other classes, and I am not simply taking about the objective of what you teach. Because, I can always teach myself those things no matter the class, but what is so special about this class?"

Shiloh had no clue that this man might not realize that he isn't a student in this class. In his mind, his intrusion here was being accepted, and he was being tested based on finding out simply his mettle. Whether that was true or not, Shiloh hadn't given that much thought in that moment as he waited for an answer.

The strategy wasn't that great at least according to Dante's standards. He would listen until the end. The plan had many holes and flaws. Too much relied on several key points in the strategy and judging by that, it had a very low success rate. But the other question the boy asked had Professor Genovese look up and stare at the kid's face. "In order to answer your question, I must ask you this. Why did you choose to join Akumu Academy? What is your purpose here?" As he was waiting for an answer, a Chandelure would pop through the window. Dante would smile at first. "Vesta! A pleasure to see you! Though... I do not see Iris..I'm guessing she sent you with a message?" A piece of paper dropped from the Pokemon into his lap. He briefly scanned the letter and turned back to look at Shiloh. "A straggler, eh? Time for you to be on your way...to the class you actually belong to. The gray haired Professor was secretly pleased this student wasn't one of his..after all...that strategy wouldn't have gotten him very far in Trickster. As he was about to say one more thing, Lily would emerge from the back room with a piece of paper. Dante quickly snatched and read it, let out a curse, yelled something and then raced towards the back room and slammed the door shut. The Do Not Enter and Do Not Disturb signs dangled precariously before settling. The curse must've been a signal as a Feraligatr appeared. Not giving the boy a chance to walk, the large Pokemon pushed him out of the classroom and then shut the door. The last thing Shiloh would see would be an Emolga making a face at him from where she was perched on the Feraligatr's shoulder.

Shiloh wasn't too happy when the professor ended his question with another question, and was about to voice his complaint as a result. Though he never got that far, in fact, as a message arrived via a ghost Pokemon. A fire and ghost type, that immediately caught his attention, but, it was short lived when it was compared to the message the Pokemon brought. It would seem that his time wondering was to come to end, which couldn't be clearer after being called a stragglers, he was pretty much pushed out of the room by a pokemon huge enough to make sure he wasn't going to be arguing too much about it.

Shiloh would take a deep breathe once he was on the other side of the door.

He was glad that man wasn't his professor. For someone who is suppose to be over a class that is all about tricks and traps, the fact that he didn't even verify who he is or even knew what was going on was a bit discerning.

Then again, it would seem that someone else was ready for him to get where he should be.

Iris?

Was that his professor? Either way, he probably should head to his own class.

Shiloh exit to Longinus class

Having taken her time at her Poke-lot, Poppy missed Shiloh checking out her class and getting kicked out of it. With her naughty Shinx secured in his pokeball in her bag, she wasn't concerned with him causing any trouble for her Professor. Entering the classroom, her eyes scan the room and note any Pokemon or people in the room, including those who may or may not be perched upon the bookshelf. Stepping further inside, she stops by the Professor's desk and waits passively, not giving much attention to the door that says Do Not Enter. If it becomes important, then she will, but for now her objective is to meet her teacher and get her assignment.

Your next post will be at the Pokemon center. However you can post your entrance post but a mod will give you a ride to get to the island. Please do not auto-post yourself to the island without waiting for a mod to escort you.

Since the girl was paying more attention to the bookshelf, she would miss the Purrloin who had been watching her calmly from the teacher's desk. What an odd child. The girl would only hear a happy squeal from above as her only warning before she was covered in glitter. An Emolga soared happily to land on the shoulder of a Feraligatr looking way too pleased with herself. It would seem everyone was here but the actual Professor. The Do Not Disturb sign was accompanied by a Doing Official Business. However the Purrloin pushed a letter closer to Poppy. Once she opened it, the letter would say:

Your first mission will be to travel to The Island of New Beginnings. There you must catch a pokemon to add to your team. As well as find and take a picture of an evolution stone. You'll be able to tell what it is when you see it. Go to the pokemon center and behind it, there will be a long flight of stairs leading downward. Take those and it will lead to the docks. Your ride to the island will be waiting there. Viola here will give you the supplies you need for this journey.

Signed,
Professor Dante Genovese

After Poppy finished reading the letter, Viola would motion to the supplies with her tail. On top of the Professor's desk was three pokeballs, a potion and a Snap Shot Camera. Once she gathered all her supplies, she was free to go.

The lanky red-haired teen entered the classroom quietly. He wasn't particularly interested in disturbing anyone, be they other students or his strange, stand-offish professor. Hefting his messenger bag over his shoulder, he'd give the classroom a cursory glance before making his way over a nearby seat. Alistair sat down and placed his bag on his desk. He'd need to be ready for Professor Genovese whenever the man chose to show up. And though he was forcing himself to appear outwardly calm, his stomach was doing somersaults. How would he be graded on his mission? That's how normal schools did these things, right?

The Emolga on his snoulder would give her trainer an affection nuzzle. Silly child.

A familiar flash of white and black came to land beside Lucy on Alistair's shoulder. The female Emolga smiled brightly and happily. ">Hiiiii~ Welcome back! How was the journey? Did you have fun? What did you see? You are the first ones back and we've sent many other students out! Great job! You even look like you grew a bit! How's it feel to be stronger?<" she chattered grinning.

Meanwhile Dante emerged from the back room rubbing at his eyes, hair missed like he had been taking a nap. Yawning, he would straighten up and glance at the boy blinking. Ah! Finally a student actually returned? He didn't think the mission was that hard and yet Alistair was the first to return. Time to see how the kid did. "Go ahead and tell me about the island, what you brought back and give your camera to Viola. Was your mission completed?"

The Purrloin appeared on the desk that Alistair had placed his bag on, sitting and waiting patiently.

Did... did he even have enough space on his shoulder for two flying squirrels? Alistair did his best not to yelp; it wouldn't do to accidentally offend his professor's Pokemon. He sat there in stoic silence, trying to keep himself on balance.

>Hey!< Lucy, by constrast, did realize her trainer was in a bit of pain, and intended to do something about it. She leapt onto the desk proper (giving Viola a bit of a wave as she did), and happily smiled up at the older Emolga. >The island was fun! Lots of fighting... not as much as I would have liked, but I'll take what I can get.< She titled her head to the side as she opened the bag, thinking carefully. >I'm not sure I'm strong enough yet to comment... but I'll try to keep getting better and better!<

Well, at least Lucianna was having a good time. Good to see she was making friends, even if he remained as socially inept as ever. He'd glance up at Professor Genovese, surprised by how sleepy the older man looked. He hoped he hadn't been a disturbance... Nervously, he pulled this three Pokeballs out of the bag, placing them in his lap. He met his professor's gaze, taking inventory has best he could. "The island... was an interesting place, sir. My time was spent primarily in a forest area. It transitioned into into a mountainous region, which is where I found the Ice Rock. The picture is on the camera." He racked his brain, attempting to give a better overview of his time on the island. " I fought several battles, almost entirely against Grass types. I only used Lucianna in battle; I didn't want to risk any of my new acquisitions." Oh yes, that was relevant as well. With a careful flourish, he released the three Pokemon.

The Roselia cringed slightly as she appeared in the light. She'd never been in a place like this before, and she wasn't certain how she felt about it... perhaps she'd made the wrong decision? Nervously, she glanced up at Lucy, who's smile calmed her enough to straighten out.

As did the Scyther's action-- he protectively stepped in front of her, putting his blade between the small rose maiden and the taller human. He recognized her from the forest; not necessarily a fighter, but honorable enough. And while he trusted his new trainer (somewhat), he'd keep on guard. Someone had to keep the peace around here.

By contrast, the Snorunt was practically vibrating with excitement. She bounced around Alistair's feet, cuddling him affectionately. How fascinating! Why was everything warm? This wasn't exactly a normal place, buuuuuuuuuuuut she'd figure things out soon enough.

"These are the Pokemon I've captured, sir." Alistair swallowed nervously; had he done poorly by using all three of his Pokeballs? He was trying not to shiver at the Snorunt's friendly overtures; she hadn't learned how to control how cold she was. "So yes, sir, my mission was completed."

>Aaaaaand here ya go!< the Emolga remarked, having grabbed the camera from the bag. She offered it to the Purrloin, curious to see how the quadruped managed it.

After each mission, injuries are reset. Since your first mission is over, you are back to zero injuries!

Lily would follow Lucy, leaping into the desk and sitting there. ">That's good! You'll have plenty more adventures! Lots of fun! The next mission will be fun!<" When she spotted the Emolga trying to hand over the camera to the Purrloin, Lily would take it instead. Turning it around in her paws, she pried open a small part on the back and then pushed a button. A camera strap emerged and she helped give it to Viola.

The Purrloin in turn used her tail to lift the strap onto her neck securely and then ran off to the back to go develop the camera's film. It didn't take long before she came back with a picture in her maw carrying it gently before giving it to Dante. Done, she would sit back and wash a paw nonchalantly while nodding at Lucy in acknowledgement from her wave from earlier.

Dante's gaze would focus intently as he stared at each new Pokemon that had been brought back in turn. This was a very interesting assortment of Pokemon that Alistair had caught. After he was finished analyzing the newest additions, he would glance at the photo Viola had given him. Honestly the kid had done pretty well. He managed to catch three Pokemon and find the stone. "Congratulations. You are the first student to return and yes, you successfully completed your mission. However before you can go on the next mission, it would seem that some training is needed. You can spend the rest of your day resting at your poke-lot. Tomorrow you can go search for the Mirage Arena and train all your Pokemon there. I'll have set a limit ahead of time so the arena will let you know when you are finished. When that is done, you can come report back to me to be assigned your second misson."

This time a Feraligatr came from the back room with a piece of paper. If Alistair was looking he would see large block letters saying URGENT EMERGENCY. Dante would mutter something under his breath (no wonder he had been napping, he was always busy and running on little sleep) and then rush to the back leaving Alistair alone.

Alistair released a breathe he hadn't realized he'd been holding. His professor was a hard man to read, but at least it seemed he'd done well enough to please the older man. Trying not to blush under the praise (he hated his complexion and his disposition), he gave Genovese a quick nod. He'd completed the mission, but it seemed he wasn't ready for the next one. And admittedly, Alistair appreciated the opportunity to get stronger. Lucy had handled herself well, but she couldn't be his only Pokemon. The others would have to learn how to fight. "I understand, sir. Thank you." He'd nod, and quickly recall all his Pokemon but his starter. Biting his lip, he considered saying something else, but forced himself to be quiet. His actions would prove his intent. He watched as the Professor left; what was he doing back there?

>Can't wait!< Lucy said cheerfully. She'd wave to Lucy before clambering back onto Alistair's shoulder.

The pair then left, shutting the door quietly as to not disturb whatever was going on in the back room.
