"Strominoff" The Professor corrected in a very stern tone of voice "Ears be cleaning." Rising from his desk the Professor would walk to the back of the room without giving Hiro even a glance. Either he was as disbelieving in the boy's delusions of grandeur as everyone else, or he simply didn't care.
Once at the back of the class the man would open up one of the cupboards and begin placing items into a small woven basket. He seemed to have several sitting on a desk placed nearby. "First mission is going to Eyes-land of New Beginnings" He began, arranging the items in the basket as he felt they best sat "Going zere you must to cahtching Pokemon. Ahtleast one" He instructed, holding up a single finger to illustrate, though he still didn't bother looking at the boy. "Ahlso finding stone vhich causing evolution in Pokemon. Tehking picture. Is big stone. Know vhen finding."
Striding back across the room, the Professor would place the basket on a desk close to Hiro before returning to his own "Items for mission." In the basket Hiro would find three Pokeballs, one Potion, and one Super Snap Camera. Seating himself and taking a moment to get comfortable, Professor Strominoff would deliver one last important fact "To be getting zere, you must be going to Pokemon Center. Circling to bahck, ahnd valking down stairs. Boat be meeting you zere. Questions?"

Hiro listened as he seemed to ignore the first comment about his ears needing to be cleaned and locked onto everything else. It would seem that there was at least three objectives that he had to accomplish. The first was catch a new pokemon, he would do that anyway if at all possible. The second was to find a stone for evolution, it would seem the thing was suppose to be pretty big. So, hopefully it wouldn't be too hard. Then finally, the last was ....do something called ...."taking a picture".
The boy looked at the basket as he would recognized all but one item in the basket as he tilts his head to one side and then the other.
"Professor ...Stompin', how do one take a picture?"
Hiro would ask as he takes from the basket two of the three items. Though the professor never once glance at him, he would find him currently pointing at the last object in the basket.
This was a point where even Blight couldn't help him. Pokémon rarely knew how to use human items ...as she realized that maybe, just maybe, her trainer wasn't being funny. Four years, fours years without human contact, there was bound to be things lost and knowledge that he missed. It would seem using the last item was one of those things as he asked for further instructions.
Then the boy had gotten the Professor's name wrong again, so, maybe he wasn't play there either. Maybe, he was really was being thrown off by his accent as to his actually name.
Then again, her trainer can be pretty dense somehow.
For a moment the Professor would look rather flatly at Hiro, yet as it would reveal this was not due to the disbelief the boy didn't know how to work a camera. Instead he would rise from his hair, taking a small plaque from his desk, he would state again while holding it close to the boy's face "Professor Claudus Alexei Strominoff " Yes. His name to priority. After this was said, the Professor would take the camera from the basket, tilting it slightly so that Hiro could see clearly "Pressing here. On" He directed, pressing the a red button on the top of the camera. "Pressing here. Picture tehking" He would then press the largest button, the flash going off as the camera successfully took a picture of the ceiling. "Pressing red ahgain to off." The Professor would then place the camera back into the basket.

Hiro would find the name plate shoved in his face. Yes, he could read, but that didn't help when the man said his name the same way he did the first two times, and even though reading should have made it easier ...it really didn't when he heard it again.
It wasn't like he wasn't trying ...his name was hard.
Though for a moment, he tried to let it make sense in his mind as he would pay more attention to what he was doing. Pushing buttons wasn't too hard, he could do that ...as he would gather it from the basket it to this time and proceed to make sure he places it somewhere safe as he would loop the strap over his head.
He would have to keep it safe, it didn't seem all that strong of a product. The pokeballs were already clipped to a belt he wore around his waist. It was easily in hand range, while the potions, well they were already harder to deal with as he simply pocketed them.
He would have to make it a point to buy a bag when he got back. Otherwise, he was good.
"Alright, I got it ...Professor ...Stove in off."
Hiro would declare as he started to head out the door.
"I shall be back soon."

The first thing that the boy sensed or smelled was the lavender. Taking a deep breath of it, he realized this place was similar to the medical places back in his village. That was until he entered the inside. Trying to keep a keen eye as he was assaulted with smoke, the boy wiped any expressions off his face immediately. Not that many could really tell through the mask that covered the lower part of his face. Glancing around, he quickly scanned the room for any signs of danger. It was always good to be aware of everything including his surroundings. A good shinobi was always prepared. Walking towards the table where the man in the robe (there were much odder outfits people could wear in the village so this one didn't faze him), he stepped forward to wait. "I was instructed to report here," he said calmly. "My name is Karasu Okuyama and this is my partner Koga."
The academy always seemed full of surprises. Different things happened at every turn, and nothing could be expected. For a shinobi point of view, life was always lived on the edge. There was no telling when one would die so the risk was nothing new.

Elbows leaning on the heavy oaken desk, the man would gaze at the boy with eyes darkened by heavy bags. This action would take only a moment however before the older man turned his attention to a mysterious device made of folded paper held with his hands. "Professor Claudus Alexei Strominoff is name" He stated as his hands moved the device in a rhythmic, almost practiced manner. Like he'd done this more than a hundred times. After several minutes of carefully manipulating the device, the Professor would lift one of the corners, scowling deeply at the answer. When he was done, the carefully crafted work of paper would be held over one of the nearby candles till it ignited, and then tossed on the floor. Apparently he didn't like the answer.
Rising from his chair slowly, Professor Strominoff would slide his hands into his sleeves and walk to the back of the classroom. "Student Ka..ka...Student, your first mission is going to Eyes-land of New Beginnings" The Professor began as he opened one of the cupboard at the back of the room "Going zere you must to cahtching Pokemon. Ahtleast one. You must ahlso be tehking picture" he explained, preparing a cheap woven basket and filling it with a number of items. Once he was done, the man would close the door, locking it carefully, and then strolling back towards the front of the room. "Picture tehking of Stone. One causing evolution in Pokemon. You vill know vhen seeing" He stated, placing the basket of items on the desk nearest Karasu before returning to the chair behind his own. The young 'shinobi' would find the basket contained 3 Pokeballs, 1 Potion, and a Super Snap Camera. "To be getting zere, you must be going to Pokemon Center. Circling to bahck, ahnd valking down stairs. Boat be meeting you zere. Questions?" He asked, arching a brow as he slid his chair back into place.
While it was odd, there had been worse things he had seen. With the accent, it was harder to understand but he was able to catch most of it. The boy looked at the basket and back at his Professor. "I have no questions, Strominoff-sensei." he said respectfully. "I thank you for the supplies and intend to complete the mission successfully. Is there anything else I need to do before I go?" The mission seemed straight-forward enough. Travel to the Island of New Beginnings? Was this a place for students starting at the Academy? He would need to catch a pokemon and then take a picture of a stone that causes evolution in pokemon. Now that could be a bit more difficult. There were many stones that could do that. It was always good for a shinobi to be alert so he would have to play close attention to details. He gathered the basket, taking the items out and placing it in his ninja pack before presenting it back on the table in front of the Professor.
Island of New Beginnings. If they had a mission to catch at least one pokemon, Koga was certain there would be many battles. An island such as this sounded like it would be overrun with wild pokemon whether they be friend or foe to trainers and captive pokemon alike. It would be an important first mission and one that they needed to complete in a reasonable amount of time. Failure was not an option.

Professor Strominoff would merely give the boy a faint nod to indicate the boy had heard all he would need to know. He would then take out a piece of paper and begin folding it meticulously.
(Two things just so they're clear. Make sure to put "Exiting to -insert location-' at the bottom of your post when travelling to another thread, and you DO actually need to post in the Pokemon Center thread. You do not just go straight to the island.)
It would seem that he was dismissed. The boy repeated the directions in his head memorizing it. Details were important for shinobi. The mission would always need to be completed. Nodding respectfully before half bowing to his Professor, the boy turned to Koga and nodded. It was time to go to the Pokémon Center and figure out where the docks were and how they were getting to the island.
Koga did his own semblance of a half bow to the Professor before following Karasu out the door. It was time to start their adventure!

Zander's eyes stung the second he walked into the room. Smoke. He glanced around for the source and found multiple candles burning, and a strong scent lingering in the room presumably from those candles. It was very interesting for Zander to inspect. This was where his Aegis Professor spent part, if not most, of his day in. Zander concentrated on the Professor. Mr. Strominoff looked as impressive as ever. Zander had seen and heard a lot about the professor and Strominoff certainly did look the part. With a brief throat clearing, Zander introduced himself. "Hello there, Professor Strominoff! I am Zander Myst Lance, but you can just call me Z if my name were to inconvenience you too much. Makes us closer if we have nicknames for each other, don't cha think?" Zander gave a happy grin. "Oh, and this is my partner, Tony. Zander pointed to his Cottonee who was hovering over his shoulder.
Zander could only feel excitement in that moment for his adventure was slowly starting to begin.
Pokemon:

Standing in the corner, a match in one hand, Professor Strominoff would look down at the incense he was lighting and briefly question the potency. Perhaps he needed to start shopping elsewhere....or start burning herbs from his garden instead.
Giving a brief shake of his head, the man would place the incense down upon Go Bwong as if the Bronzong were a table. Turning around, he would tilt his head a moment as he stared at his new student. After a moments pause he would nod, stating "Ah, other -ander. Da. Is good. Quick to be coming ahfter lahst task" After saying this the man would stroll forward, smiling weakly as he introduced himself "Ahm being Professor Claudus Alexei Strominoff."

Zander grabbed the basket and put it away in his bag. "Thank you Professor Strominoff, for these items." Zander was excited at the sight of the Pokeballs. They meant that soon, he would be able to add to his team and develop more strong bonds with Pokemon. He reminded himself of the two tasks the professor had given him...To catch one Pokemon..and to take a picture of a stone. It sounded simple enough. "No questions, thank you once again, Professor!" Zander was stoked! He waved goodbye to the professor and headed for the Pokemon Center. [Exiting to the Pokemon Center]

Finally, it had been a long journey and a lot had happen, but Hiro was finally back. His eyes looking at the jumble mess that his professor classroom as he rushes into the place. The sound of his feet hitting the title floor had preceded him as he skids to a halt in front of the door, and would knock only once before letting himself in.
The memories ...oh the memories.
Everything had finally come full circle, and Hiro could understand and live with that. He would look around the room before another smile crack through his face.
He also had another big surprise for the man.
He knew his name, and he could say it right too. It was better he had heard the words from someone who spoke much more clearly as the boy would puff out his chest. In just a few minutes, he would get to show up his Professor completely.
Then there was the mysterious ID. He wouldn't be ship out by Abra or be put ot the back burner by a Nurse. This time, he was going to the right source, and he was going to show him the ID and get his question answer.
no, this was going to be a good meeting.
Hiro had decided.

Entering the room, Hiro would find it was filled with the usual smoke, dimly lit, and smelling of lavender. The Professor, seated behind his desk, would barely cast a glance at the boy before returning to shuffling a deck of cards. Amazingly this time, they appeared to be perfectly normal playing cards. "Releasing Pokemon be. Seeing how be doing. Camera too" He stated, placing the cards down in an odd pattern.
Hiro didn't need any further prompting as he would release three pokemon in front of him. The first of which the professor had seen before as Blight appeared and would seem to shake herself all over. She was never completely comfortable in a pokeball. It was more than a big discerning to go from one place and to magically seem to appear in another. But she put up with it for Hiro. It was better that he looked as much like a normal trainer as possible, because, once he open his mouth ..anyone's moment of disillusion was lost forever.
She would look at the professor and bow her head once as beside her, Despair would appear. She would look around the room for her next opponent and then find nothing but a human who seems to be playing with bits of leaves decide that this was boring. She would literally sit down with her limbs cross before she snaps at Despair.

Blight would only roll her eyes.

That one gesture had the hackles on the Sudowoodo up as she prepared to press her attitude when Fluke who had appeared last would scamper inbetween them.

Fluke was literally the only pokemon that had actually worked with both pokemon. For Blight and Despair, they had only met across from each other as the enemy.
Thus, this was a very uncomfortable truce at the moment.
Hiro of course was oblivious to all of this as he takes out the Camera and walks over to him. He would put it on the table with the picture already pull up and ready. It would show an Ice rock, but the rather nasty creature on top was considered an extra bonus to the boy, especially since he got to show it off.
"As you can see, I completed my mission to the utmost. Just like the Great Trainer that I am."
Hiro would declare proudly as he waited for either further instructions or a his evaluation of what Hiro had brought him.
