Something wet and something warm was licking the side of a man’s face. The mind did not acknowledge the presence but this presence was persistent. The cheeks, lips, hands, and anywhere on the face. The mind could not ignore such a thing but the body did not want to move. With more licks coming with every other second the man’s mind transitioned to becoming consciences. Eyelids rolled back to reveal hazel looking upon the source of the licking. ”Its already that time huh,” a broad hand placed itself between the horns on the creature’s hand. The relentless licks had come to a stop once the man had finally acknowledged the creature. Heaving himself from the confines of the bed did the man get ready for the day ahead.
--40 minutes later— ”That should do it.” Tightening up the messenger bag around his shoulders and triple checking to see that all was set for the day ahead. The horned creature nuzzled its snout into the man’s hips. ”Yes, we are going to have some breakfast but from the school cafeteria.” The creature appeared annoyed and repulsed in response to what the man had said. ”Since we will be here for some time we might as well see what is available.” The horned one snorted at the man, removing its muzzle from his hips. The man with ash gray hair took up three Pokéballs from the bedside table and placed along a belt. ”If you rather not eat at all I’ll just return you into the Pokeball.” Houndoom lips twitched which was followed with a shake of its head. Its tail swayed low to the ground but perked up. The creature turned round to pick-up a small booklet upon the dresser. It handed the object to the human male. ”We can’t forget about this now can we.” Houndoom gave a nod while the man held the door open for the Pokémon to follow in suit.
