Legendary Lotto
Introduction
- Legendaries are often portrayed as little more than myth, rarely seen, even more rarely caught. However, there are times in some trainer's lives where they are lucky enough to see or catch these godlike beings. Here at Revo we allow such an opportunity via the Legendary Lotto! Every few months, a new Major Legendary will be generated and its summoning item will be given away to one lucky winner!

Rules
- The rules of the lotto are simple; When a new legendary is generated, their National Pokedex Number will be listed as the Lucky Number, and each member will be allowed to generate a number between 1 and 893, but only ONCE per event. At the end of the month, the member who's number was the closest to the Lucky Number will get that Legendary's summoning item.
Due to a lull in activity, anyone can roll for the time being and still be eligible.
Because the legendary lotto is competitive, you must have posted 15 times during the three month period between legendary lottos. We understand being busy, however this lotto is meant to serve as a reward for active members.
When a new lotto is opened, the mods will put up a list of all current members who are eligible to enter the lotto for that month's giveaway.
If you happened to join during, or just before the month of a legendary lotto, and want to roll, you can roll, but you have until the end of the month to make at least 15 posts to be eligible.

As an added bonus, if you are somehow lucky enough to roll a number identical to that month's Lucky Number, you get a Jackpot! The lotto will close for that month without accepting any more RNGs, and you will receive that legendary's summon item immediately with the option of making your earned legendary shiny upon encounter, One Event Item of choice, One Plate the same type as the legendary given away (if it's a dual type, then pick one of the two types), and Two Lucky Eggs!
Please do not delete any posts here, even if you forget to roll, it causes suspect for cheating and can potentially get you banned from the legendary lotto if there are multiple infractions.
Remember that if you are at your competitive legendary limit, you cannot participate in the lotto.
Lotto Etiquette
- We can't stress it enough: Please do not roll if you do not want the legendary. Several of the people rolling do want it, some very, very badly, others because they want the opportunity to create a plot. If you are rolling 'just because', please do not roll. Give the people who have true motive for it a better chance to have the legendary they're after. This, obviously, is not something we can enforce; but we urge you all not to roll just for the hell of it, but rather only if you truly want the legendary.
On a similar note, we also urge people not to roll for their friends. This, again, is not something we can, or necessarily will, enforce at the moment, but if we see people rolling for their friends, and if people begin trading legendaries won through the lotto to their friends, we may have to change it to an official rule. It's simply not fair to have you and your friends rolling for your legendary, when some people don't have anyone to do the same for them, or their friends are gunning for the legendary for themselves. It's not fair, and we don't want to have to buckle down and place rules, but we request you not do it, to keep things as fair for everyone as we can. As it is right now, however, we won't be placing any legendary-trading rules.
