Harvey woke up in someone else's bed.
This wasn't a strange situation for him, but he noted that it was later than he usually woke up.
Taking further examination of his surroundings he noted the ball of black fur lounging at his feet..a Luxray.
That's right, I stayed over at Chavas', the teacher thought stretching in the bed. We caught up after the festival.
After what had happened at the festival, Harvey had needed to blow off some steam.
He wasn't sure what had floored him more, the fact that he actually made a friend or the fact that Tony Reyes, the battled proffesor had grabbed and kissed his friend. ( by accident apparently)
They were both kind of surprising really.
His mood darkened slightly when he thought about the battle proffesor. He had given a flimsy explanation as to why he had kissed Ramona then proceeded to get into Harvey for cursing in front of kids of all thing.
Cause you know, sticking your tongue down someone's throat in front of ten year olds and forcing a kiss on a woman you worked with was all fine and dandy but cursing? Nope couldn't have none of that.
And seriously who wouldn't curse in that situation.
Reyes also seemed to think that he couldn't get cursed at because he was older.
Harvey who grew up with a mother who would either hug him, act like a child, or call him a b*****d, and a long line of abusive stepfathers didn't much care for honoring elders. Respect had to be earned not given just because you survived longer than others.
He never was much of a traditionalist.
He would have told Reyes off for it too but Ramona had ended up fainting due to what Reyes had done and Harvey had opted to look after her and take her back to the hotel ( in the reverse order)
Becuase she was his friend...? ( maybe? )
It really was weird.
Before he could stop himself Harvey had taken off his phone. He wasn't one to exchange numbers on a whim, but the academy had an application where teachers could message each other for joint projects, conferences and all the other fun school stuff. He quickly searched for Ramona's icon and typed out a message
To Ramona: Hey mornin I'm just checkin did things go alright with Lilith?
He wasn't sure why he cared about checking up on her but he did.
It was weird.
Harvey didn't make friends with colleagues..not often really, but he'd be lying if he said he didn't enjoy Ramona's company, or that he didn't care about what had happened to her.
But did that make them friends?
The young professor found himself at a loss of what the answer was. All he knew was he liked spending time with Ramona...in a way that was slightly different than how he liked spending time with Chavas.
Speaking of Chavas where were they?
As if summoned by thought, the spanish enby came out of the shower plopping down unceremoniously next to him. Harvey let out a grunt as their elbows hit his stomach as Chavas tried to somehow use Harvey's torso as a pillow.
"Quehubo guero?"
"Didn't we have a girl with us?" he asked grogily, playing with the hair of the person lying on top of him. It was a habit he'd had since he was a kid, fidgeting and running his hands through his hair, his pokemon's fur, other people's hair when they allowed it. ( it was something he unknowingly shared with Marcus). He and Chavas had picked up a girl now that he remembered..there had been dancing and she had come up to Chava's room, having opted to stay the night there.
"She went home-you slept in this morning" Chavas said, smiling playfuly before taking Harvey's cellphone from his hands.
"Hey!"
"Who you calling?"
