The walk to the Nurse's Office had been mostly in silence. The sounds of their feet moving echoed in the hallway mixed with the sounds of Marco's Pokemon following them. Tera had been growing tired and while she continued to fight against her weakened senses, they were ultimately winning. Marco knew because he could feel her body pressing against him, using him for support as her strength was slowly leaving her. She wasn't heavy and this was not his first carrying someone to the Nurse's Office. Ray was heavier than Tera, but not by much, he hadn't been eating well and Marco could tell that Ray had lost a lot of weight. That time he carried his hurt roommate had been both a struggle and a scary experience. Marco tried to forget about the images of Ray covering in cuts, bruises, and the blood trailing down his face. The black-haired boy glanced at Tera seeing her looking more tired and more pale, had she eaten anything? Once he reached the Nurse's Office then surely she would receive some good help.
Charmander and Murkrow followed in front of them to make sure there wasn't any obstacles for them. They weren't sure what was happening, but Tera seemed to be in trouble and Marco was helping her. This was enough information for the Pokemon to lend a hand as well. Flare and Natu had been called back to their Poke Balls, but Charmander assured Flare that he would do his best to help their human friends. The Nurse's Office was finally in front of them, "we're here Tera." Marco announced to his pink-haired friend as they entered the office and were immediately greeted by a nurse. Marco was told to place Tera in one of the beds while the nurse got ready to check her over. The boy nodded and made his way to the bed where he helped Tera onto the bed. They were both still wearing their gym uniforms, but with the events that happened there was no room to worry about that. "The nurse will help you, Tera," he grabbed her hand with both of his hands, his eyes filled with worry as well as fear, "you're going to be okay, I'll be right here." The nurse approached them and Marco was told to step back while Tera was looked over.
The boy reluctantly pulled away from Tera. His Pokemon were by his side and they were both offering him a smile. Marco kneel down and rubbed their heads, "thank you so much guys. I'll take over from here, you guys get some rest," the Pokemon nodded and they were returned to their Poke Balls while Marco waited to hear about Tera's condition.

After the few words Tera had spoken near the gymnasium's exit, the rest of the walk to the nurse's office had been a quiet one. Usually the girl would try to spark up some conversation since she didn't really like long periods of silence, but she didn't particularly feel physically or mentally up to the task, not in the state she was in anyway. It wouldn't have mattered much anyway since Marco seemed a little lost in thought to want to talk and his Pokemon were preoccupied with keeping things out of their path. The sight of the Pokemon moving things along the way put a small tired smile on her face as they kind of looked like mini bodyguards. She started imagining them in matching uniforms before a pulsating pain throbbed in her head. Luckily for her, they had just arrived at their destination.
As Marco helped her onto one of the free beds, the nurse was getting ready to check on her. When the black-haired boy had the most worried look she'd ever seen him do as he held her hand. He sounded, to her, that he was trying to convince himself rather than her, but maybe that was because that she was confident that she was going to be okay. "Pfft... Dude yer worryin' too much... I'm totes gon' be fine!" She said tiredly. She definitely been through something way worst than this, but that was a story for another day. She would've poked his nose if she could've reach him to try to reassure him, but with her lying down that wouldn't be possible. That didn't stop her from trying to reach though! It probably wasn't the best idea with her being dizzy.
After a series of questions along with a checking of her vitals, the nurse concluded that it was a case of dehydration and sleep deprivation. All she needed to do was rest up and she'd be as good as new in the next few days and was given some water and pain medication to deal with her headache. It was a good thing that they didn't have school the next day, but the news would damper her spirits. 'Maan... There goes my research trip off-campus...' The realization of the fact saddened her as she gripped the the blanket that laid on top of her in frustration, all the more since she still didn't know if what she was doing was the right thing to do for her homework. To make matters worse, as comfy and fluffy the bed was, the girl wasn't feeling sleepy at all. Seeing as she couldn't sleep, she thought that maybe talking would help. "Hey... Thanks fer bringin' me here... I owe ya" She wasn't sure if he'd stay, but she wanted to know before he did go.

Either they were really focused getting to the nurse or Iris was a ninja as the rather "usually not graceful' girl was able to follow the two without them noticing her. Now she was leaning against the wall beside the door. Iris wold peek in from time to time but other listen to what was happening with Tera. Sitting down, she could hear about how the girl needed to sleep and drink more to feel better. Hearing that, Iris had immediately moved her hands to her before stopping. And exactly what was she going to do once she pulled out the sports drink she had in her bag. Just walk in there and say: "Hey I followed you guys from the gym class and was eavesdropping on your whole conversation like a little creeper and I figure here's a drink to have since yea... I'm a stalker apparently..."
Iris placed her head on her knees and sighed to herself. She started to wonder what was the point of coming here. Marco and Tera were fine on their own.... That thought didn't help her as the cloud started thicken and form over her.
Zoey and the rest of the gang looked at Iris. Bebe could see that Iris was in one of her moods and settled with being just a silent partner as she sat on the girl's head. Ling sat down but inwardly she was pacing. Her beloved was right there! Right there inside and so was the little harlot but Iris was outside and not going in. It was just torture! Meanwhile Zoey just stared at the three with a puzzled look. It seemed like they wanted to do inside and iris had stuff to give. So what's a pokemon to do....?
Zoey grabbed the handles of the bag with her teeth and started to pull the bag with her inside like she was pulling a slide with the bag part behind her. Iris looked up to her bag disappearing into the doorway. "Zoey no!" Iris hissed low as she grabbed a small piece of the bag. "You can't go inside." given Iris' strength, Zoey started to counteract with it trying to run before just getting on the other side and pulling inside. Things were not in Iris' favor as she lost her grip.
"Zoey...!" Iris said as she got up onto her feet and went inside. Iris hugged the way like she was on a narrow ledge as Marco and Tera were near a bed. Iris looked down at Zoey was tugging the bag still. Iris mouthed and motioned for pokemon to come to her. Zoey looked at Iris and seem to misunderstand as she proceeded to turn around and jump onto the bed with Tera.
To say Iris was mortified, would be an understatement as the Zorua jumped onto Tera before jumping down to pull the bag more since it was too heavy to jump before she just decided to pull out the bottle holding the colorful drink and trying to jump with that in her mouth. Iris thought it would a good moment to try and grab the pokemon as Iris crawled on the floor.
Iris was getting closer when more of her 'good' luck started to show. With an effort to grab Zoey, the Zorua received help via a small fairy with a vine whip as Iris was lying on her stomach and Zoey was being lifted up as the pokemon pulled the bottle and then just curled on Tera's torso, trying to coo to make a vibrating effect.
Iris laid on the ground, defeated by the small pokemon. "Et tu Bebe..?" She mumbled. Maybe if she stayed on the ground, it would just swallow her up instead of having Bebe resting on her head like she didn't just betray her, Ling looking for Charmander and Zoey doing a rendition of a hot water heater.
Marco's eyes widen when Tera reached out to poke his forehead. He leaned closer and met her halfway so that she would be able to poke him. He smiled at her and then stepped back while the Nurse took care of Tera. His Pokemon were inside their respective Poke Balls which left Marco alone while waiting for the results. The boy was feeling nervous and he knew that he shouldn't nor should he try to think about the worst case scenario. However, his mind couldn't help, but give him flashbacks to the last time he was in the Nurse's Office. Things were a lot messier at that time, but Ray was lying on a bed just like Tera and he looked really tired just like Tera. Marco shook his head, Tera will be alright. Once the Nurse finished checking up on his pink-haired friend, the diagnosis was in and Tera was dehydrated as well as sleep deprived. In other words, she was tired and needed rest. The black-haired boy sighed, releasing a breath that he did not know he was holding in. Marco approached Tera and noticed that she was gripping the blanket with a look of frustration. He blinked in surprise since he didn't remember seeing Tera make that face before. He was seeing a lot of sides of Tera that he didn't normally get to see. He placed his hand on top of her hand, "you're hurting the blanket." He didn't know why he said that, but he looked down at her and locked eyes with her briefly.
When Tera thanked him, he looked away suddenly feeling like he couldn't see her in the eyes. "N-No problem, you scared me back there," he admitted to her, but still wasn't looking her face. His face was red, but his hand remained on top of hers. After some moments of silence, he peeked back at her with his face still a little blushed. He could tell that she was tired, but she wouldn't go to sleep; maybe she preferred her own bed rather than the Nurse's Office. Marco started drawing some comparisons between Tera's appearance and Ray's appearance since they both had been to the Nurse to be checked. Without a doubt Tera looked much better than Ray since the guy had cuts and bruises from his fall; Tera just looked a little pale, but even her normal skin tone was coming back to her. "You're pretty..." the words left his mouth before his brain could even process what he was thinking. Marco realized the words that were coming out of his mouth, but he could do nothing to stop them. His eyes widen and his face caught on fire from the embarrassment. He meant to say that she was looking better than Ray did when he was in the Nurse's Office meaning that she didn't have any bruises like his roommate. Instead he mentioned that she was pretty and completely forgot to give any kind of context! But Tera is pretty. Marco thought innocently which just made him blush harder.
The sudden appearance of a Zorua along with a wild Iris made him jump back. His hand left Tera's hand as his heart was beating fast from the combination of his word blunder and the sudden appearance of Iris and her Pokemon. "Iris? Are you okay?" Marco kneel down to check on the green-haired girl and to also help her stand if she needed to. Why was Iris here? Was she hurt or her Pokemon were hurt? He had so many questions and they were good distractions from the embarrassing moment he just placed himself in. He looked back at Tera who had Iris's Zorua resting on top of her. "This is new..."
