The men that walked into the cafeteria appeared so different at a glance one had to wonder they were doing together. Physically, Aislin’s dark skin contrasted with Harvey’s paleness, and where Harvey’s hair was ordinarily blonde, Aislin’s pink hair was a call to attention all it's own. Their moods were also different, or rather the way they expressed them. Aislin was smiling fit to split, almost giddy with happiness as he picked out food for his Pokemon. Harvey, on the other hand could be said to feel content, but whatever it could be said he was feeling was rather muted. Of course, Harvey was still trying to process the fact that he had woken up next to Aislin.“How do you even know Gutierrez?” he muttered as the librarian sauntered over to a table taking out a pastry with unbridled reverence most people reserved for religious objects. Harvey scoffed, sat down himself, and took out his own food. The man was so dramatic. “We're Spanish, we're gay, we have a penchant for finding each other” Aislin said ripping into his pastry. Harvey shrugged, taking the answer-which was obviously not serious- with a grain of salt. Last night had ended with him meeting up with a waiter and going home with him for the night. They had picked someone up by mutual agreement and the morning had found Harvey making his way to a cafe for a to go breakfast, and then to Ordell only to find that someone walking the exact same path as him with a merrily “Oh. I work there too” Honestly, what were the chances. And why is it I keep running into gay hispanics, and pink-haired people in this island. He knew now he was being dramatic. Knew that lamia district consisted mostly of hispanic people and he had only run into one lgbt person and one pink haired person ( on account that he legitimately only had two friends) But he still couldn't help but find it ironic that after he stopped seeing Ramona and Chavas, the next person he met would be a weird manifestation of both. Except, you know, he liked Ramona and Chavas...whereas Aislin...
“ohmygod there's dulce de leche in the croissant. I can die happy now” Yeah. He wasn't sure how he felt about Aislin “You are a five year old” “Yeah well you have horrible bed hair” If he focused really hard, Harvey was sure he could hear the two psychic pokemon that stood next to them laughing at him. Broski certainly was laughing.He was eating pokefood from a bowl along with Equis and Samantha. Tank as usual, was in his pokeball. Harvey always felt bad but the gigantic pokemon just couldn’t be let out in the school building. Focusing on his own breakfast, ( black coffee and a oreja but that Aislin had called a Palmier) Harvey glanced on his phone as he ate. He was waiting on an email from the Dean regarding his plans for the breeding lessons. His eyes caught on the last message he had from Ramona ( almost a month ago last Halloween.) Harvey hadn’t heard from her since. He wondered if maybe he had been wrong in thinking they were friends. He was usually good with things like these, and with people in general, but the silence on the other end might suggest she wasn’t as good friends, or didn’t want to be as good friends as he thought. While Aislin kept whispering sweet compliments about ( and to) his breakfast, ( yeah..the dude was weird) Harvey thought this through and typed out a text to Ramona.

Kirsi had laid in her bed for a long time, but at some point she had to eat. She didn't feel like getting up or going to classes, didn't feel like doing anything. But worrying her friends was worse. It was really nice of Maria to come by last night, and Kirsi didn't want to bother her friend with it. It was one of the few things that just barely seemed to still matter.
Two growlithes flanked her as she walked. Kai was behaving himself since Chance explained something was wrong. Kirsi carried a book, more so she would have an excuse to sit alone than that she was interested in reading right now. It might help her to forget though. Kirsi glanced around the room. Mr. Bennet was there, and though she couldn't muster up more than a dull pang of guilt for missing class, she did wish she could get a hug from him. I wish Mom and Dad were here... She was supposed to call home again tonight. She wanted to ask them to come, but all she could think of was how Ray had called Rina to come and...and... I'll be fine. Chance is here.
Kirsi got some cereal and sat down in the back. Thankfully she often ate out of the way and alone with a book, so it wasn't too odd. Absently she reached down and scratched a fluffy growlithe head. Kai smirked at Chance: Kirsi had been scratching the disguised zorua's head by accident. Chance huffed and scooted over, edging Kai out of the way. Kai pushed back with a paw, and soon he was rolling over as Chance heaved his body on top. Kai yelped a bit loudly. "Guys...stop..." Chance froze. Sheepishly he padded over and sat back down, fur bristling as Kai snickered from behind. Okay so maybe he wasn't behaving that well.

As Iris was eating her breakfast, she was hard at work doing the homeworks that were given to her. She had already finished the history one and working on coordination. Making combo seemed 'easy' enough but at the same time she needed to figure out mentally how the moves would work with each other and how appealing would it look. Currently she was stuck the use of fury swipe from Zoey and wondering would it work better with Bebe or Ling. "Ling has Wing Attack and Aerial as her physical attacks. But it doesn't look appealing... it would just be a double attack... but that could be interesting." Iris wrote those down. "Now with Bebe... Oh Razor Leaf... it would be like a sneak attack and that would work great with a Sucker punch. Zoey the ninja...."
Iris was giggling to herself as Zoey looked up from her food and looked around. Her curiosity got the better of her as she walked around. The first thing she noticed two Growlithes playing around before a girl told them to stop. Zoey tilted her head as she watched them. Her tail swayed as she inched closer and closer to the pokemon and girl.

Koru, huddled up in her red gym suit jacket, took a gulp from her water bottle and sighed. She had thought about skipping her morning run but yesterday really had her feeling lazy. After battle class getting stuck at the nurse's office with a stomach wasn't how she wanted her day to go. She missed history and even going to dinner, though they way she feeling it was better that way. The number one thing she hated was laying down during the day. It was near impossible for her to sit still and do nothing she always hated getting sick back home. Taking her medicine was one of the worst parts just thinking about having to take that stomach medicine yesterday made her stomach turn again. She sighed disgusted and took another drink of her water bottle.
She walked into the cafeteria not really looking where she was going and gulped. It all spelled so good, but the nurse told her to eat lighter for the next couple of days, causing her to puff out her cheeks disappointed,"Uh...guess I can eat berries with the guys..."She thought about herself nibbling on berries with her pokemon and thought how much mroe filling they would be on a sandwich... a grilled sandwich... lathered in garlic butter and spicy bbq-! She smacked her hand on her face to snap her out of it before she fell into temptation. She walked towards the food, but stopped noticing Nirav looking down. She hadn't seen him since battle class, having to walk out on their conversation because of her...yeah she left him hanging. She diverted from her path to the smorgage board to Nirav instead. He was still looking down so she leaned over to try and get a look at just what he was doing exactly. She took another gulp from her bottle and asked as she gulped it down,"What'cha doin'?"

So far, there were no new developments with the club. It didn't seem like a lot of people were up and about yet, so maybe he'd hear from people by the end of today. Strangers or not, he wanted the club to be official as soon as it could be. He took a few bites of his breakfast, unaware of the fact that Koru was staring at what he was looking at, primarily the pokegear, his cereal, and the few remaining flyers and tape.
As she asked what he was up to today, he jumped a little, not having expected her to come up behind him."Oh, uh, hey," he said, turning around to look at her. "I'm, uh, almost done hanging up flyers for a club."He held one up for her to look at. It was simple looking, stating that the Ordell Sewing Club needed members and to contact Nirav Goto with interest. A few clipart pictured of sewing needles and bolts of fabric decorated the otherwise bare sides. "Once I put them by the gym, they'll all be up... Um, anyway, uh, what about you?" Nirav still wasn't too great at the whole promoting your club in person deal. In a way, printing flyers with his contact information down was a way around that. But nevertheless, he looked to Koru to take over some of the conversation.

Kai lifted his paw to lick it, an act that appeared strange under the guise of a growlithe. Chance seemed content to settle down by Kirsi's side, neck craned upward to watch her. Kai perked up, peeking around Chance's fluffy form. He spotted Zoey approaching and sprang to his paws again.
Kirsi realized she had forgotten to get food for her pokemon. She put down her book and walked over to get two bowls quickly, not wanting anyone to notice her.
Kai shifted a few steps to the side when Kirsi got up. He was pleased to see Chance was focused on her, which meant he could approach the blue-tipped zoura alone. Was her coloring natural, or an illusion? As he approached he leaped lightly into the air, allowing his illusion to fall away. Grinning, he slowed to a stop. It might have been fun to keep up the disguise, but he wasn't good enough at talking in disguise to fool another zorua. "Zo, zorua." [ Hey, haven't seen you around. ] Of course, Kirsi didn't let him out much inside the school yet so it made sense. But something about her felt...familiar. He chalked it up to being the same species.
Kai sat, glancing over as Kirsi arrived back with the food. Chance started eating immediately, of course. Kai could wait. He could trust the dog to only eat one bowl of food. "Zorua, rua." [ Name's Kai. That your trainer? ] he asked, flicking an ear toward Iris. She was the closest kid, so he took a guess. This place was weird, full of youngsters with their own pokemon though they were clearly under the sway of the adults. Yet the adults weren't their parents. Humans were so strange; in a way, he found it interesting.

Koru back up a little as the boy jumped at noticing her presence. Guess she was a better sneak than she thought, or he was just really distracted to noitce. He managed to ramble out a greeting and she proceeded to sit down leaning her back on the table and stretching her legs out,"Sorry for the jump guess I'm a better ninja than I thought." He mentioned flyers for a club and it piqued her interest. She was in the battle club right now and while she had already decided on not joining another she wasn't really doing anything there. She sat her water bottle next to her on the seat and asked leaning in to see the flyers,"You started a sewing club?"
Her sister and mom were really good at sewing, having worked on the costumes at the theater, but Kenna was on a whole other level at her job in Anistar as a designer...but Koru hated to admit it but she sucked. If could count the number of times she stabbed herself with a needle or trying to put thread through she'd run out of fingers and toes. She smiled getting an idea. She leaned in closer to Nirav, possibly invading his personal space,"Mind if I join?" she backed up and continued, now holding a flyer,"I mean I'm not really good at it or anything... but my sister really is! I'd love to try and get better and maybe make her something as a gift and I see how much fun she has with my mom working on costumes so I guess I'm a little jealous about it too..." she laughed at her admittance,"I promise I won't get in the way! If I do you can kick me out no hard feelings!"

Koru was quick to ask about the club as she examined the paper. Nirav nodded, swallowing a mouthful of food before replying. "Yeah, um, it's a m-more recent thing." He didn't expect a lot of people to know about it just yet. He had only registered the club yesterday and still had some work to do to make it official. Koru suddenly leaned in close. Nirav slowly leaned back, eyes wide in shock. Why was she suddenly up in his face? What did he do to deserve this at this hour? Then she asked about joining and leaned back, explaining how her family could sew and she wanted to learn too. Nirav smiled, nodding. "Yeah, t-totally. I, um, actually need people to make it official." Quickly, he scrawled down her name on an empty list of members. "My, um, my mom. She's a seamstress back home. I help her out with making clothes to sell. It's just a little weird not sewing things. But, um, yeah. You don't need to know how to join. I can help with that. Just, um, need another member at least.
Having even just one member was a huge weight off of his chest. He only needed one more! Nirav felt a lot more confident in the posters hanging around the school. Surely someone would contact him by the end of the day. Or, at least he could hope so.

Koru smiled big and raised her arms in the air,"Yay! Thanks Nirav I won't disappoint!" Hopefully she wouldn't... He admitted he needed more people to make the club official so guess her timing couldn't have been better. She turned herself around and sat on her leg and leaned on her crossed arms on the tabletop,"Oh I see well I can help with that as part of club business I'm sure I can find others willing to join!" she gave him a confident thumbs up. She would be seeing some of her friends at gym so she could ask then. Maybe Kirsi or Maria would be interested? She started to think about who would like to join while Nirav wrote her name down on the members list. He caught her attention from her own intense thinking by talking about his mom.
He explained he had helped her back home as well and it felt strange not sewing now. She smiled with a calm expression,"Hm well that's cool my mom and sister do costume design at the theater we own," she looked at her hands and remembered all the needle pricks to her fingers,"I tried but never got to help out with any of the crafty stuff. All I got to do was stand as the dress mannequin. Of course I volunteered but I never really wanted to just stand there," she raised her hands and rested them on her cheeks,"I like to move around too much for that! So does your family own a tailor shop or something? Sounds like a lot of work."

Koru seemed eager to go out and find people to join the club, a huge relief to the shy boy. Apparently her family did costume design at a theater, though she was usually just a dress mannequin. Nirav hadn't ever designed things before. He usually just followed his mother's instructions on mending clothing. Design wasn't really on his mind.
Koru began asking more about his family, specifically their small shop. "Kind of. There's the shop, but my brothers fish or drive the ferry or pick up other work. The shop only does so much depending on the season, so it's namely my aunt, mom, and me." It was the best abridged family story he could manage. He tried to keep it short, but with so many people working, it could only be so brief. The boy finished his food before answering the second part of the question. "In the off season, it isn't too bad. We, uh, namely just mend clothes. Frayed ends, rips, stuff like that. In the summer and winter, it's a lot of making things to sell on top of that. Everyone is busy back home though, regardless of the season."Nothing the Goto's did was seriously lucrative, but combined together, they did well enough. That made every person helping matter. "It'll be busy in about a month, now that I think about it..."Nirav could only hope everyone was doing well in preparing for winter tourists. Would he even be home in time to help? Now that he thought about it, would he be going home for the winter at all? It worried him to think that he may not be able to.
He blinked a little, having gotten caught up in his thoughts. Nirav made a note to figure that out soon. If he wasn't coming home for the winter, he would need to tell his family soon. "S-so, um, you own a theater?" he asked, a little curious about that. "What's that like?"

Zoey watched at the Growlithe that remained looked at her. It seemed that they were watching for the other one to leave before approached her. Zoey till approached slowly as the Growlithe did the same. One little leap in the air and Zoey was watching the Growlithe as it now turned back into a Zorua. It was red colored but she knew it looked like her and kinda smelled like her as well. Seeing another Zorua, she had an extra pep in her step and she leaped over a chair chair to be in front of the Zorua. The Zorua introduced itself as Kai before asking if Iris was her trainer.
Hi there...My name is Zoey.She said, The girl with the green hair is my trainer... Zoey tilted her head a bit. Have you seen the other one? The one with the really red hair girl?
Zoey sat down and looked at Kai. She was getting a familiar feeling from him. It was different from the other Zorua. She was bringing her paw out to touch when she stopped. Iris was calling for her.
Zoey where are you? We have to get ready for gym class. Come finish your food so we can get going."
Her ears drooped a little as she looked back at Kai but she remembered that if gym class was next then she would possibly see him again then."
Bye Kai... Zoey said as she leaped over the chair bar again and pattered her way back to Iris.
Iris sighed with relief at the return of her pokemon who went back to silently eating the remainder of her bowl. That wasn't like her but Iris could only assume that Zoey was thinking about something.
"Alright girls.." Iris said as she picked up her tray. "Time to get going."
After they were done eating both men parted ways. Aislin had to get to work and Harvey had spied something else to worry about in the time between his finishing his breakfast, and waiting for his Pokemon to do the same. Besides, aside from their..meeting, they didn't really have much in common. After everything that had happened Harvey couldn't help but feel cautious about making friends at work. With Aislin picking up his Meowstic and leaving, Harvey found himself walking to the table Kirsi was seating at. He noticed the new Pokemon, so did Broski and the monferno jumped down in front of the dark type, leaning down to look at it. Harvey's eyes were on his student. "Ms Rhoades, you missed class yesterday" he said trying his best for a level amicable voice. He didn't want Kirsi to think she was in trouble..any more than she was already. "Did something happen?" It was something that had been bugging him for a while.It wasn't like Kirsi to cut class, at least he didn't think it was. He had only been her teacher for half a year.

She couldn't believe all the things Nirav's family had done. They were a real jack of all trades kinda family it sounded pretty cool getting to do all that stuff. Her family does a lot but they all live out in different regions she can't imagine them all living in Ecruteak...her uncles and dad would cause too much chaos for her mother to handle, though having her cousins close by would be fun,"Wow that sounds like a lot! At least life doesn't sound boring back home you must have a lot of fun with all of your family around. I can't imagine if all of mine lived in the same place..." she rested both hands on the back of her head continuing to just imagine this situation. He went on talking about how depending on the season they'd do small mending and tailoring or actual fully designed clothing she slumped,"I'd be happy just to mend a napkin-?" She stopped her self pity noticing a change in tone from Nirav's voice. A month...he'll still be here not there- it popped in her head now,"Is that also why you're starting the club?" her eyes got wide what a stupid thing to ask! It was possible that Nirav could've been really homesick and didn't want to talk about it. She should know by now not to pry like a nosy Snubbull.
It sounded like he was wanting to change the subject so he inquired about the theater. She blinked a few times and answered,"Oh didn't I tell you at the library? My family owns and operates the Ecruteak City Dance Theater," she stood up and stood straight with one foot slightly in front of the other then lifted both her hands up in the air, as if she was swaying then she began to step around and side to side like in traditional dance,"We do a lot of traditional dance shows with pretty kimonos and gowns- even pokemon take part in the show its a lot of fun" she spun on her heel then halted raised her hands over head like she was holding a jar, stopping her little dance example,"My sister and I trained their with my mom and grandmother, the previous director. It's known as the site of the famous Kimono Girl Performers! Though...my sister is too accident prone to be one and I don't think it would suit me well," she laughed admittedly,"Well anyway let's take some of these posters and hang them up and out on the way to the gym!" she grabbed some fliers with one hand then Nirav with the other and ran out the cafeteria, excited to help out. Only thing she forgot was her water bottle...the poor thing. ExIT TO GYM

To Koru, his busy life on One Island seemed fun, at least in the sense of having family around all the time. Was her family not like that? If his family moved anywhere, they simply lived on one of the other Sevii Islands. He couldn't think of anyone in his family that left permanently and went farther than Vermilion City. As he talked about the tourism season kicking up in a month, Koru asked if that was what the club was for. It threw the boy offguard a little. None of it was to sell back home. While the club was mostly so he could mend his clothes that had ripped or torn, he didn't want to admit that. A smaller part of it was that it reminded him of home, another thing he didn't really want to say outright. "...Uh, no,"he replied, hoping everything would be dropped there.
Thankfully, it was. Koru went on to talk about the Ecruteak City Dance Theatre her family owned. They would do traditional dances in gowns and kimonos. By the way she described it, it seemed like it was a lot of fun. It meant dancing on a stage in front of a lot of people, however. Nirav was pretty sure it wouldn't suit him well either. "That's really cool,"he said with a smile. Soon, Koru was determined to get to the gym and help hang the remaining flyers. She grabbed the flyers in one hand then grabbed Nirav and ran them both out of the cafeteria, Nirav's pokemon running behind them. His face reddened, though there wasn't much he could do, so he at least tried to keep up with her!

Her name's Zoey, huh? Kai shifted his head. There was another one of them, with another red-headed girl? Kai picked at his furry collar, feeling a little agitated that there was another one out there with such similar circumstances. "Zorua, zor." [ No, you're the first. ] He wondered if, when he met this other one, he would get the same strange feeling that Zoey gave him, like he knew her already. There was a long moment, where Zoey was reaching out to him and Kai found himself searching for something in her eyes. Then Iris called for her and Zoey's paw fell to the ground. Kai was agitated by the interruption, but he tried no to show it other than a quick flick of his ears. "Zo rua." [ See you, Zoey. ] He stood, watching her jump gracefully back the way she had come.
Kirsi was a little surprised when Kai walked back undisguised, but didn't comment on it. She did notice that he must have been talking to one of Iris' pokemon, and watched to find out which one it was. Another Zorua... Maybe she should try and let Kai out more, so he could make his own friends like Chance. Kirsi had a feeling he might be better behaved if he had an incentive. It was nice to think about it to distract herself, but thinking about friendship got her thoughts dangerously close to thinking about Ray and Rina again.
Kirsi tried to go back to reading, but she just kept going over the same paragraph again and again. When she saw an approaching figure, she tried even harder to look like she was deep in the book. She just wasn't sure how to talk to anybody, especially Mr.Bennet, right now. But when he spoke to her, she just had to stop and look up at him. She was so so so glad that he came over, and cared enough to ask if she was okay, but for some reason she suddenly felt like she was going to cry again. Just imagining explaining to her teacher why she had been gone was so hard. "Um..." Kirsi glanced down at her now-closed book, her feet twisting on the ground nervously. "K-kind of." Would it be okay to ask for a hug, without even explaining why? Not going to class hadn't seemed to matter at all yesterday, but now she felt bad about it, especially since Mr.Bennet always put so much effort into making them fun. She looked at him with a face that an adult could easily tell was holding back sadness. "I'm sorry for not coming. I just...yeah." Kirsi did not want to start crying in front of him, and she felt like if she said anything else she'd end up doing just that.
Kai, meanwhile, had returned Broski's gaze. Deciding that he shouldn't have to crane his head to look up, he kicked his paws into the air to disguise himself. Dark tendrils curled around his body, and a moment later he stared back at Broski as a perfect reflection. He allowed himself a smirk and then watched closely, aiming to mimic any movement that the monferno made.
