Marcus had been spending most of his days in a set routine. He'd wake up early as usual and take his pokemon out for a walk. The Deino, who he had yet to name loved to run in the grasslands...or anywhere really whereas Valiant preferred the forest and had taken to climbing up on the trees above Marcus when he walked. Marcus had found he needed to take them both for walks or else they became restless. Both Deino and Vigoroth were known for their stamina so Marcus had a hard time keeping up. But Marcus was still a kid full if energy himself, and found it was only a bit harder than keeping up with his siter. Harvey hadn't spoken to him since the time he had confronted him about their earlier...well confrontation. All they semmed to do was confront each other lately. He had gotten up that morning and taken his usual walk ( there were still some leaves from where Valiant had tackled him on his hair) only to be called into the gym by an announcement. He had spotted Ray and Elijah but he wasn't sure if Ray wanted to talk to him. They hadn't really talked since...well aince Ray had decided they weren't friends cause of Kirsi. He wanted to talk to Iris but Koru was with her. And he didn't want any drama from her. He saw Tera witb Marco and thought aboit going to them but every time Marcus went up to them the black haired boy seemed to not want to talk to him and only focus on Tera. Marcus sometimes wondered if Marco wasn't mad at him or disliked him and that was why. But at any rate it was exhausting. He waved to Eva and lined up with the others when they were asked to give up his pokemon but inside his mind was churning. Why was a mechanic pit in charge of them? And why weren't they asked to just keep their pokemon in their balls like usual? His hand tightened around the nest ball that housed Valiant when Skylar Moore of all people vouced her concern about the matter..which mirrowed Marcus' prety accurately. Marcus' mind however was on his uncle Cooper who had joined the SPD and had worked himself up to Detective on Marcus' last birthday. Or his aunt from Kanto who waa the Saffron City police commissioner....his uncle Elliot who was a Top Ranger, the highest ranked tier.. He remembered stories of things like these happening and it made his insides freeze. This was...bit it couldn't be. The speaker dropped confirming Marcus' fear. They were in a hostage situation. They were hostages. He knew there had been cases were hostages were hurt woth weapons to send a message. ( but to who? Why keep so many?) His uncle Cooper had dealt with a case where one was killed ecery hour. "Guys Don't" he said when he saw his classmates try and object to the thief. What if she had a gun? But they did anyways. Right after the pikemon came to take their pokeballs. Marcus held the nest ball up to his forehead thinking of all the times he gad headbutted Valiant-as the vigoroth did it to show affection bedore giving up his pokeballs He'd get them back, ge swore. Once they were safe. And he'd see tjose thieves cuffed on the ground if he had to sick his whole family on them. He signaled to Elijah wantjng to talk to him and explain, huddling up close to the other boy. "We should see if we can call someone" he whispered as loudly as he dared, welm out of the thieves' hearing range. "Wait my phone-no that won't work" Their cell phones didn't work and not for the first time hated the school for that. What if they needed to call someone during an emergency? Like now? And where was his brother? Lorraine said something about Ms Ezra being a...well his grandparents would box his ears if Marcus Alden repeated That. He remembered Ms Ezra...she had found him crying afrer his fight with Harvey. ..she was involved? Lorrie was leaving....leaving woth their pokemon. "No!" Marcus yelled out before he could stop himself. The nest ball no longer in his hold shook once..tben twice...the. Valiant came out with a roar fit to shake the trees he was raised in. ----------------------------------- Marcus couldn't tell you just what had happened. He thought it was stupid to fight in hostage situation. His law enforcing family had finished ecery story with warnings against being an uncooperative hostage. It didn't seem like Lorrie had a gun however amd he found himself helping out simply because pokemon attacks indoors could really injure students and...there were a lot of students here. Then Lorrie was gone. "We should find a teacher" Marcus said glancing towards the gym doors as he clipped on the pokeballs, keeping a hand atop Valiant's head. It was grounding. He walked towards the gym doors meaning to test if they would open amd peer out

Chef Thief - Arlo O Reiley
Location: Gymnasium
Arlo had been given his orders from Moses. The academy staff was locked up and tied up so they didn't have to concern themselves with them until their plan was over. Everything had been going smoothly until they received that call about Lilith's betrayal and now they were crunching for time. The plan was suppose to be simple and they were all suppose to be walking away treasures that were going to last them a lifetime. Now they were looking a lifetime in jail if the police arrived. This naturally made him quite angry and now they had to secure their emergency ticket; the students. They were their hostages and there was no way that the police would ignore them with the children's life on the line, not after the missing kid cases from years back.
The gymnasium was just ahead and Arlo stepped through to block the way for anyone who was trying to escape. "Stay," Arlo spoke with a low voice as he summoned his two Pokemon; Gogoat and Persian. The two Pokemon once friendly were baring their fangs at the children, slowing walking forward to intimidate them step away from them. Arlo stared at the children, his expression unreadable, disturbingly so. He did not want to go to jail and if that meant he had to use this kids as a bargaining chip to avoid such a fate then he would. Kai should be arriving soon and once he did, they would need to kids away from the door until Moses called for them to escape using the helicopter. He didn't know how much time they had until the police arrived, but they could be here at any time. The children got their Pokemon back and likely the brave ones would fight. In other words, he had to do some crowd control and that's where his Pokemon would come in. "Don't let any of them leave," Arlo ordered his Pokemon who continue to step forward to create some distance between the children and the exit.
Just what were the children going to do now?

Kai: Security Guard
Kai had to do so much work today and it was really cutting into his siesta time. How did he ever end up with this group of active hard workers? He didn't quite know himself, but his bad decisions seemed to have led him to another task; using kids as hostages. The man sighed wishing he was back at his crappy security guard post where he could at least lazy off and take naps. Apparently the reason why things were becoming more complicated were because the 'Coordinator teacher' betrayed them and informed the authorities about their plans. Kai entered the gymnasium and sighed deeply obviously irritated with the situation. He glare at the kids in front of him, "I could be sleeping right now, but instead I gotta take care of this." Kai took out two Poke Balls, "don't give me any more work, okay?" He summoned his two Pokemon, a Slaking and a Slowbro. They were quite the large Pokemon which easily towered over the children who weren't as tall.
The former security guard finally took notice of Arlo who had arrived before him. That man was a hard worker. "How about we split the work? 30/70 sounds about right." Kai wasn't kidding, he really didn't want to do any work and his Pokemon were probably the very representation of that. They were heavy walls that could soak up most damage so they weren't going anywhere. In the contrary, Arlo's Pokemon seemed to be more of the attacking type not so much bulk. The kids were going to have a hard time facing them, but at least this meant they would get the job done.
Kai stared at the children and wondered which one would be trying to attack them first. These kids had a lot of energy so surely there would be a couple of brave ones among this crowd and they would have to bring those ones down first.
Charmander and Murkrow jumped back when they saw the flying rocks coming at them. The two Pokemon tried their best to dodge the attacks, but they both ended up getting hit by some of rocks. However, the two Pokemon didn't back down and continued their charge against the camouflaged Pokemon. They weren't alone since they were getting help from Ava's Pokemon as well. The Kecleon might be stronger than them, but they had numbers and teamwork on their side and that would definitely pose a challenge for Lorrie. Other students had started joining on the battle with Lorrie's other Pokemon and Marco could tell that the thief woman was getting worried; she was even trying to call for help. The boy's eyes widen, was she really going to call for help? If more bad people arrived with strong Pokemon then it would become harder to escape.
The battle against the thief woman suddenly ended when she called her Pokemon back. Marco blinked, were they really pushing her back or was there another reason for her retreat? Her last words as she left the gym worried him. However, her departure allowed for some breathing room as Marco ran up to his Pokemon. "Good job guys! You had that Kecleon on the ropes," the boy smiled at his Pokemon who smiled at him. They were a little hurt from the attacks they received, but overall they seemed to be fine. Marco looked down at the Pokeballs he was carrying, the box was no longer being guarded so all the students could grab their Pokemon. He decided to go to his fellow classmates and return the pokeballs he had with him. Lucky for him Iris and Skylar were together; it seemed they had battled against the Poliwrath that was previously pushing all the kids against the wall.
"Iris! Moore!" Marco ran up to the girls and presented their Pokeballs to them. "I was able to get them back from the box, good job facing that water Pokemon." The boy was still running on some adrenaline so he was unnaturally chatty at the time. He couldn't really worry about being shy not when they were in this kind of situation. If he stopped moving then he might actually have to think about how dangerous this situation was. The struggle against Drampa had still been far scarier though. "We better prepare for whatever comes next. I don't know why that woman ran out, but it can't be good." There were still some Pokeballs he was hanging on to and he knew who they belonged to. "I'll be back, let's make sure that everyone is alright and move out of this gym." With those words he made his way back to Tera.
The pink-haired girl seemed to still be trying to recover. Marco hated how that Pokemon had pushed his friend and even stolen her Pokeballs. The black-haired boy kneel down beside her and presented her the pokeballs. "I got them back Tera, just like I promised." He smiled at her, his body was starting to feel the pain from Kecleon's attacks. He flinched a little as his small body started tingling slightly from the pain. He put on a brave face for Tera and continued to smile. He wasn't even sure if she was registering his words, but he would stay by her side and make sure no one hurt her again. Just as those thoughts crossed his mind, the doors to the gym were opened and immediately closed. The sudden sound caused Marco to turn towards the exit and spot none other than the chef of the academy. He smiled at seeing a friendly face except that his face was not showing any friendliness. Marco's smile dropped when he saw the gentle chef glare at them. He was in on this thing with the thief woman. "No..." the black-haired boy was in disbelief, but he wasn't given enough time to react as another man entered the gym.
Arlo and the new man both had their Pokemon out with them and it seemed like they had every intention of keeping them in this gymnasium just like Lorrie. Marco felt angry, just how many adults were in on this thing? He couldn't face Arlo right now, but that other adult he had no problems with. Charmander and Murkrow stood ready beside him. Marco turned to Tera, "don't worry we'll get out of this...we just need to push pass them," the boy faced the lazy looking man and stepped up to him with his Pokemon. "You're not keeping us here!" the boy declared glaring at the men.

Iris and Skylar tried their best to keep Poliwrath while still trying to handle their pokemon as well. Iris looked between the battle to the woman. She was talking on her walkie talkie. She was told something as she was recalled her pokemon. Iris blinked in surprise as the woman told them it had been real fun and that they would be taken care of. "Hey wait!" Iris said as the woman ran out of the gym. She escaped as Iris was still focused on Skylar standing up right. She was sure that the girl would remove herself from Iris and then proceed to berate and hate her but the feeling of keeping her safe and defeating Lorraine made it okay.
She gave a sigh of relief as her body relaxed. She looked at Skylar for a moment before Marco called their names. In his hands were their pokeballs. Iris knew which ones were her because they were decorated with green stickers. Marco complimented them on their face off with the Poliwrath. "Thank you," she said, her eyes getting watery as she collected her pokemon. "You brought them back to me." As she thankful as she was, she took his next words to heart as well. They needed to prepare since Lorraine left them alone. The next goal in mind was to move out of the gym. Iris watched as Marco turned to Tera's side. Looking at her, Tera didn't look so good.
Iris moved Skylar to sit or lean against the wall. "Let me get your cane," Iris said with a smile as she ran back to the door. The cane was near the wall nearest to the door. "Got it." Iris as she knelt down to pick it up. As she did so, the gym doors opened. Iris looked up to see the really tall chef from the cafeteria and one of the security guards on the campus. She quickly stood up and beamed. Maybe the teachers and staff escaped and they were coming here to help them out. That positive thought was quickly diminished when he blocked the door, telling them to stay. If that wasn't damning enough, then Persian and Victreebel growling at her told her they were just like Lorraine.
Iris ran back to Skylar, giving her back her cane as the other let out a Slowbro and Slaking. However, she was more fixated on Arlo. "No, you too," she said hurt before pointing at him. "I liked your cooking and this is what you do. You're an insult to the chef profession!!" She sounded as though as she was madder at Arlo then she had been with Lorraine. "You will pay for the betrayal of cooking with lies!"
Yea she seemed angrier with Arlo as she let out Ling and Zoey. "Rest now Bebe." she said calmly to her pokemon who rested in her hair.
Marcus Literally had his hand on the door of the gym , only to jump back when it's wrong up and when it swing open. He jumped back startled to see Me. Arlo and.....a security guard. This wasn't a security guard Marcus recognized. 's Hart had been the one to catch him skipping class all those times and out past curfew. She hadn't been catching him lately. Had she been taken? Was she a part of this? Was she tied pump with the....with the other adults? With Elaine....Rey's aunt...and Harvey. "Where are the teachers" he demanded eyes blazing, not backing an inch when Arlo told then to stay. He forgot in that moment of defiance and fury that he was supposed to be compliant in hostages situations ( unsubs have been known to make examples out of unruly hostages his aunt had said. And when there's multiple hostages, you're that much more expendable) He forgot that....forgot he was supposed to be quiet he was demanding, arms crossed and eyes like kindling in a bonfire. "Answer me! Where is my brother!" He glanced at Iris when she yelled at Arlo about betraying the meals. ( an...interesting phrase but Marcus was still focused on getting answers and getting out of here) Valiant roared at Iris' declaration of battle and Marcus stood next her ready to face off in battle. "Yeah bud" he said to Valiant, although the next thing he said was aimed at Iris too. "I'm with ya"

Kai continued to look over the students. Kai didnt see what problem Lorraine was having. The brats were being quiet now. Maybe it was because they were men or their pokemon were scarier. Either, this looked to be an easy task. If he was lucky enough, he could sleep this task away until they could make a clean getaway. Something that was the plan the whole time until that whistleblower tattled. The woman was probably dealt with and gone. Pity since she was pretty hot... Kai let out a yawn when the silence was broken by the small green hair eye that ran from them the moment she realized they were not their saviors. Kai had to snort back a laugh at the girl's declaration of war against them. No.... against Arlo, the chef. The girl was actually mad that Arlo was masquerading as a chef. He finally let out a laugh when another boy started to yell at Arlo. Kai patted his back.
"Aww look, Arlo, you made them angry. Especially, that little green hair girl. Looks like your guard duty just got downgraded to babysitting brats. I'm just going to watch you handle those two by yourself while I take a-huh?"
Kai turned his attention to a new boy that decides to that right was the time for yelling declarations. Kai groaned as he ran his fingers through his hair. "Listen kid... I'm really itching for a nap here and the quicker you quiet down, the better it will be.." Looking at the boy and his pokemon, he could tell they weren't going to go quietly into the night. "What a pain." Kai groaned once more. "Alright kid, you wanna be a big boy, i'll bite." As tired as his eyes looked, there was a gleam behind them as well. One that would be dangerous if only the man was more motivated. "Slaking use body slam on the murkrow and Slowbro make use of water pulse on that charmander. Let's get this over with quickly."
The children were being annoying. Battling Lorrie has woken up fighting spirits in everyone instead of the fear he hoped his fellow thief had spread. She failed them, but at least she would be useful by fetching their ride. Arlo was quite annoyed at this point, his plans were not to go to jail and if they didn't quiet the kids down then things were just going to get ugly. He stared at the children that were yelling at him. The boy Marcus was especially desperate once he realized that his older brother wasn't among them. The student screamed and glared at him, but this only dampen his mood; as if a mere boy could command him to do anything. He choose to ignore him, if he really wanted answers that battling him would be the only way to obtain them. Then there was the young green-haired girl who surprised him most of all from her outburst. She was usually quiet, but cheerful with her friends; however, even this situation seemed to have been more than she could deal with and she was letting her frustration out on him. Indeed he was a chef, a damn good one, and being a thief did not change that fact. Nonetheless, Arlo couldn't help, but take a small hit of pride at the mention of shaming other chefs before him.
"Quiet. You're too loud," Arlo spoke once more in small sentences. His statement directed at the two students, but mostly towards Iris since she had been with the most explosive reaction. The two kids had already summoned their Pokemon, good, at least they were learning to be prepared. Persian and Gogoat would be their opponents for this battle and they would not be taken down easily. "Persian use Power Gem," Arlo ordered his first move from his Pokemon. The feline meowed almost like a roar as the gem on its head started glowing before shooting a large pink beam. The good thing about Power Gem was it would hit multiple Pokemon so he decided to use it against Iris's two Pokemon since this would be mean two birds with one stone, literally.
Arlo turned his attention to Marcus, "Gogoat use Double-Edge." The chef wondered how the boy would react to such a large Pokemon coming towards his Pokemon. Gogoat's horns were quite menacing and with an attack like Double-Edge, there would surely lots of damage to be had; on both sides.
Iris looked at her side, Marcus appeared and decided to battle Arlo with her. She blinked in surprise before she nodded her head in agreed. "Let's go." Her attention went to her opponent who was telling her and Marcus to be quiet since they were being too loud. She didn't care about that. Why should he be comfortable when she wasn't. The pokemon looked their way as well, Persian focused on her while Gogoat did the same withMarcus. Iris focused on the feline pokemon as it was about to use a move but Iris had something else in mind.
"Zoey use Sucker Punch." Iris said, "Ling use Bubblebeam!"
Zoey who looked like Gible, run towards the Persian, slamming into the pokemon being getting hit with the move. Due to the hit, her disguise disappeared to reveal her Zorua self. While Zoey landed on her feet, Ling hit the pokemon with a barrage of bubble exploding against the fur.
Marco stared at the lazy man, what was a guy like him even doing here? He looked like he rather be anywhere else besides being here. Maybe this was him pretending so that he could lower his guard? Well he wasn't about to fall for it and even if that man was harmless, his Pokemon were the real danger and they were attacking right now! "Watch out!" Marco called out to his Pokemon, but the attacks were not avoidable. Charmander crossed his arms and took the hit from the Water Pulse while Murkrow tried to fly away from Slaking, but the ape-like Pokemon was way too big. Charmander was knocked back, but he did not fall and stood his ground even after being hit. Murkrow moved from under Slaking and freed himself; that much weight had been a pain, but he wasn't going to go down that easy. Marco was happy and proud to see his Pokemon pushing on despite how much bigger their opponents were. They were also dealing with evolved Pokemon, but neither of them was ready to give up and Marco could see that. Charmander's tail flared up, despite the water being thrown at him, the flame was standing tall and burning brightly. Murkrow spread his wings and shook off the attack as he glared at Slowbro and Slaking.
Marco had to pause for a moment to collect his thoughts about this battle. The lazy man had obviously picked his targets, but that didn't mean that Charmander had to face only Slowbro or Murkrow only Slaking. To take charge of the battle meant taking charge of your victory and he wasn't going to let the lazy man dictate this battle. He had opinions and right now his Pokemon were the best partners for each other. "Murkrow focus your attacks on Slowbro, use Assurance!" this was his Pokemon's new move and against his opponent, it would be a force to reckon with. The power of Assurance doubles if Murkrow takes a hit and with that Body Slam from Slaking he had met that condition. Slowbro wasn't just water-type Pokemon, he was psychic-type as well which mean that dark-type attacks were super effective. In other words, Slowbro was going to get hit by an attack with quadruple the damage. They would need to keep the pressure on Slowbro otherwise his Charmander would be taken out. "Charmander use Dragon Rage on Slowbro!" the fire lizard's tail flared up and his eyes glowed as Charmander opened his mouth and charge his attack. He fired a sphere of energy that expanded in size as it traveled towards its target. Marco wasn't expecting to take down Slowbro with these attacks, but he was going to make sure every move counted. The only downside was that Slaking was free to do as it pleased while he focused on Slowbro...

The children had some fight in them or at least the ones that had stepped up to confront them so far. Arlo had been serving the children their breakfast, lunch, and dinner so he saw and recognize several of them. His job had been to infiltrate the academy and gain everyone's trust and he certainly performed that job very well which was why it was surprising to see the students reaction. Iris was initially a quiet and shy girl who enjoyed the company of her Pokemon. Arlo had seen her change, becoming more outspoken, gaining more friends, and naturally having fun with her classmates and Pokemon. She was well known among her class for her victory in the Lamia District's Little Cup and she had even made the cover of a magazine that featured her victory as well as a mini photo-shoot performed by Ramona. Arlo had seen a lot of change in Iris, in fact, he had seen a lot of change in many of the students. Even now he continue to watch them change such as Iris getting angry and actually facing off against him.
Sucker Punch was a priority move which was very good to guarantee the first strike on your opponent. Persian ended up getting hurt before he could even deliver his attack. However, Power Gem still hit its target and dispelled the illusion that Zorua had created upon entering the battle. The dark-type fox pokemon was quite known for its mischievous nature especially with an ability like Illusion that let it copy the appearance of any Pokemon; with a trick like that they were natural pranksters. Arlo was sure that the Pokemon would have other tricks under its sleeve, but Zorua was not his only opponent. The Ducklett had fired off a Bubblebeam which exploded upon contact with Persian. Water was a nuisance to a feline Pokemon like Persian, but it wasn't super effective so his Pokemon would be okay. Nonetheless these dual attacks would take their toll especially if more students started joining on the fight. Marcus didn't seem to react to his Gogoat's attack, perhaps he still didn't feel ready to battle. Either way he would use as an opportunity to put a little more pressure on Iris and her Pokemon.
"Persian use Assurance on Zorua," Arlo commanded his Pokemon to use an attack that should provide him an edge in case Iris tried to using Sucker Punch again. He might not be able to priority moves (not with Protect or a defense move), but he could certainly take advantage of the situation. Assurance was a move that got stronger if the Pokemon using it took damage that same turn before using the attack. This would mean that in the event that Zorua did attack first with Sucker Punch then his Assurance would hit harder, double the power. "Gogoat attack the Ducklett with Double-Edge," Arlo used another move, but this time he was commanding his goat Pokemon to attack another of Iris's Pokemon. Ducklett was an interesting Pokemon due to its only weakness being electric-type attacks, all other attacks were neutral at best. This meant that Gogoat's grass-type attacks would not be super effective even thought Ducklett was part water-type, its other type (flying) was to blame for that. Double-Edge was the best and strongest move for his Pokemon to use, it would cost him in the long run, but he had another move to help him mediate that damage his Pokemon would receive. Now how would miss Haruno react?

Once the hits made contact, he was sure that that would be it for the pokemon. He was already ready for the boy to start crying about his pokemon. "Listen kid..." Kai started once more, "Let's just stop here. You and your friends go sit in a corner and you won't have to cry about your pokemon..."Kai yawned, wanting to hear the boy again to it but instead he was met with the pokemon still glaring at him and his pokemon. This was getting tiresome as Marco had his pokemon attack him back. Why couldn't the kids just give up? This way he could go to sleep until it was time for them to escape with their bargaining chip. He looked at Arlo to see if he was done yet. More to his displease, while she was quiet, the girl was holding her own against the larger man.
A hand ran through his hand. "I really want to sleep....Slowbro use Zen headbutt against the Charmander. Slaking use..." Kai looked at his larger pokemon, noticing that the Slaking was yawning and not even looking at Kai. "Hey if I can't sleep neither can you."
Marcus frowned when Arlo ignored him but stood his ground. Gone was the fear that had frozen him in place, gone was the compliance. In it's place stood sheer determination. He was pretty sure his entire family would be upset about this when they found out and let him have it but he didn't care. He needed to find Harvey. His eyes widened when he saw the gogoat charge with energy making it's horns glow like sunlight through a window. Valiant hit the tiles with a thud but like his trainer stood his ground sensing the battle was important. "Yknow my aunt's the police commissioner in Kanto" he said a lot braver than he felt "she says standard punishment for hostages includes a life sentence. And that's if everyone's unharmed" Marcus was surprised by how much he wanted to see these people put away. His hands tightened to fists at the thought that not everyone might be unharmed "You're gonna tell me where Harvey is."
Iris had already started battling and Marcus wished he had half a clue about battling as she did. She was in battle class now that he remembered, and had participated in the Lanka tournament. Marcus aside from that battle he had almost gotten into with Koru, had never been in a battle. No time like the present right?
He couldn't help but frown when the cook told Iris she was too loud....although it did give him an idea. Once his mouth was open he gave a deafening roar, sound waves materialising in circular bands of energy and hitting the feline Pokemon. Marcus then seemed to remember something as both pokemon attacked Iris' Pokemon. "Phillip use wing attack on that goat" he said releasing his own ducklett.
Iris held her position as her pokemon dealt their hand in battle. Her hands were clenched and she was sure that her knees would be shaking if she wasnt trying to keep alarm to what Arlo was going to do. As afraid as she was, she was also excited for this battle. Yes, they were basically battling for their lives but battling against an adult? This was something she had done with Mr. Reyes in the club. Battling period, she did this in the club and in the tournament that she won. She was showing this man, his whole group that they had underestimated the will of the students of this school. If she wasn't so angry at the man, she would had been smiling.
Iris was brought to focus on him when he had Persian use Assurance. The feline slammed into Zoey while Gogoat charged at Ling. Both her pokemon were sent back, tumbling towards her. Was he trying to focus on her only? Before Iris could kneel down to see their condition, Zoey and Ling were already trying to and succeeding at standing up on their own. This was a surprise coming from Ling as when Iris had first started training with Ling, the pokemon reacted to anything that happened to her plume. Now the state of it was just rolling off her. Rather, she was focused on what she could do to the opponent.
Suddenly she could hear a loud noise as Marcus had his Vigoroth use Uproar. The girl was already wired so sleep was not in the forecast, to begin with. But at least it meant that she wasn't alone in this battle.
"Zoey help Valiant with Fury Swipe." Iris gave the order and the Zorua was running before jumping and swiping the Persian with her elongated nails. "Ling help Philip and use Aerial Ace." Ling opened her wing, flipping them before she took flight. She was going at a great speed that the Gogoat didn't see her until she was ramming into the pokemon from the side.
"Awesome!" she exclaimed before looking at Arlo. "Was that too loud as well?"
