Tony yawned as he entered his classroom. The students coming back from their Winter Break meant his own break was over and it was back to classes for everyone. Even as a substitute teacher he had to practically start creating his own curriculum for this second-half of the academy year. They had yet to find a replacement for Battle Class, but they were able to find one for Outdoor Class. It was a young man, younger than Harvey, who had joined the teacher staff and today was his first day teaching. He did not think they would hire someone so young, but it seemed that his credentials were quite incredible. Antonio didn't think too much about it as his thoughts returned to his own class and the activity he had planned for them. The students should all have received a dragon Pokemon yesterday from Frappe and her dragon mamas so today's focus would be on the little dragons. Antonio was actually relieved that even though their students had to suffer through the events of Leoconoe District, their love for Pokemon had not diminished. From what he had, all the students were excited to make friends with their Dragon Pokemon and hopefully today's activity would help to build that bond.
For the moment his classroom was empty and no student had arrived yet which was fine since he needed to set everything up as well. The Tag Battle Tournament in Leoconoe District was cancelled due to the dragon attacks and it was a real shame that the students didn't get to fully experience cooperative battles like that. So in honor of the canceled event, the students would have their chance at Tag Battles, but they would need to use their new Dragon Pokemon for the activity. To get things started, he decided to write instructions on the board to make sure all students could see it upon arriving at class. The board would clearly read:
"TODAY'S ACTIVITY: TAG BATTLES! CHOOSE A PARTNER FOR THIS ACTIVITY AND TAKE A SIT TOGETHER. YOU WILL BE USING YOUR NEW DRAGON POKEMON FOR THESE BATTLES."
Antonio smiled and waited for the students to enter his classroom. Hopefully today would be a good day of passionate battles!

It was one of the first days of having this Dratini, and honestly, it was kind of cute. Much unlike the Turtonator he and Koru had dealt with at the festival, Dratini was surprisingly soft, and shed very often. It seemed that Nirav was picking bits and pieces of shed skin off of his clothes and bedding after just one day! It was a little gross. Although Nirav didn't fully trust dragon types, at least Dratini didn't look like the type that could melt his face off in a spout of anger like some of the others did. Regardless, this currently unnamed Dratini still needed some time to gain Nirav's trust, and vice versa
Nirav walked himself into class, seeing he was the first student there."Hello, Professor Reyes," he said as he entered. Looking up at the board, Nirav nodded to himself and took out his Dratini. Nirav wasn't sure how battling with a dragon pokemon would go, but there was no arguing with the professor. He sat down in his usual corner and pulled out a book he was reading. This one was different from what he had been reading in December; in fact, he had just checked it out yesterday. Thus far, it was about three friends in a magical school somewhere off in the mountains. As he tried to read, the Dratini slivered itself around Nirav's middle, and the boy couldn't help but tense up, clenching his book and freezing. It felt almost as if he were becoming a snake's dinner. He did his best to ignore the urge to run, keeping himself focused on each individual word of his book.

Despite his vehement refusal of obtaining a new dragon Pokemon, the lad had reluctantly gotten yet another partner. The bat pokemon refused to let go of him! Barely even a day with his new unexpected addition and Jung's schedule was off. His new Noibat had woken him up in the middle of the night with cries of attention. He hadn't the faintest as to why the little dragon was upset, not at first. After long hours of gumshoeing through the internet as well as experimenting he finally came to the conclusion that she was just hungry. Sadly bad news arrived in the form of the sun rising and he had to get ready for class. The lad couldn't help but sigh during his preperation; this was now the second time he had collected a new responsibility in the form of a Pokemon.
Feeling lethargic while the purple bat pokemon was on top of his head playfully tugging at his hair, the lad dragged his tiredly feet to class. Upon entry, the sleepy student noticed the teacher had already arrive alerting him to possibly being late. A quick look at his gear had told him that he was right on time, slowing his heartbeat some. A quicker nod in the teacher's direction later and his eyes were now on something else. Closer observations had lead him to see that another student was also present which strangely relieved him to not be alone with the teacher. The last thing he wanted was undivided attention on him. Lastly he glanced at the board which ultimately unsettled him. The need to find a partner was stressing enough as it is but to be evaluated while doing so sent his heart rate through the roof. He knew of everyone in class yet never made any real prominent steps to befriend anyone. The lad had met a few faces in yesterday's event but he hadn't a clue if they would consider them as a battle partner. First thing that morning Maria decided to go for a run around the school’s track with Herdier. The two could use the exercise. Herdier had become definitely become faster since evolving. The brunette was generally impressed. Espurr was keeping speed with Herdier. Maria and Trapinch followed after the two at a much slower pace. With Trapinch’s slower speed it made sense. Getting back to the dorm room afterwards, Maria got ready for classes and of course breakfast. Once breakfast was finished the four headed off to class.
Battle class was never Maria’s favourite but it was certainly Herdier’s. However, walking in and seeing the message on the board told Herdier today wasn’t her day. “Sorry Herdier, looks like Trapinch is up today.” She told the dog Pokémon.“Herd~”(That’s alright~) She barked back. Maria took out her ground type’s pokéball. Enlarging it she let the Trapinch out. In a flash of light, the orange Pokémon appeared. Looking around he was surprised to see the classroom. Herdier began explaining all the fun she’d had in the class and that his first battle would be great.
“Morning Mr. Reyes,” Maria greeted before wondering where Koru was. Usually she was one of the first in class. Part of her wondered if Koru would be interested in teaming up. She’d always thought it would be fun. Thinking about it she and Koru hadn’t talked much other then class. Perhaps today would give her a chance to work with her fiery classmate. She just needed to show up.

Antonio looked up when he saw some students starting to enter the classroom. The first among them was Nirav who even greeted him, the substitute teacher smiled at waved at him, "good morning mister Goto." Antonio remembered how the boy had been quite shy and nervous in the past, but it looked like he was slowly becoming more comfortable with the academy. He was happy to see a positive change in his student and only looked forward to see more change not only from Nirav, but from his other students as well. Speaking of other students, the classroom was starting to get full as more boys and girls arrived. Among them he noticed Jung-Su Douglas who liked to stay by himself, but he wasn't sure that was the boy's intention. Antonio was always watching his students and he knew that Jung-Su had been trying all year to be more brave. He admired that about the boy since he was trying to face his own troubles which in this case was speaking to others. He was slowly, but surely on the right path and hopefully all it would take was for another student to try and lend him that hand. Today's activity might in fact give him an opportunity to interact more with his classmates; hopefully. "Good to see you mister Douglas," Antonio nodded back at Jung-Su and then returned to watching the door as other kids started showing up. There were a particular bunch that hadn't arrived yet, but he couldn't wait any longer unfortunately since their activity required their full class time.
"Alright class we're going to begin today's activity," Antonio spoke up and waited for the students to settle down. "I hope that everyone's read the board because today we're going to have Tag Battles! I know we've gone over the basics so we'll be applying them today and since everyone was gifted a dragon Pokemon yesterday then this will be a good opportunity to bond with your new partner." The activity was pretty self-explanatory, just grab a partner then battle another group. "You may choose your partner as well as choose your opponents, but if anyone is struggling or taking too long to decide then I will assign partners and opponents to you." With that said and done, he let the students go about their way while waiting for the others to arrive. Better late than never.

Marco knew that there was no running on the hall, but since he was late anyone who could point that out to him was already in their class. He had been plague with weird dreams lately and he was embarrassed to admit that they were dreams about a fellow classmate. The boy had no idea why these dreams were suddenly creeping up on him, but they made him feel embarrassed since they were about a classmate. He shook those thoughts away otherwise he would walk into class with a red face. He was already late and he didn't need to be more embarrassed. His new dragon Pokemon was quite the work especially since it was very young and therefore very active and playful. He felt like an old man compared to the Gible who seemed to not run out of energy. Marco did admit that it was fun to play with Gible and his other Pokemon were quite happy to have another friend join them even if this new friend was prompt to biting...a lot. Gible seemed to like munching, but he had quite the sharp teeth and Marco didn't want to be bitten if he could avoid it. He had to surrender a pillow to his dragon Pokemon who instantly chew through it causing feathers to go everywhere. Overall it was a fun mess.
Marco ran into the classroom as Mr. Reyes was finishing up the instructions for today's activity. "Glad you could join us mister Guerrero," the teacher commented when he noticed the black-haired boy sprinting into class. Like a deer caught in the headlights, Marco froze for a moment before bowing, "sorry I'm late!" Mr. Reyes didn't look mad per se, but he did point at the board and Marco's eyes followed. "Tag Battle. Choose Partner. Choose opponent. Got it," Marco nodded with a blush quickly went to the back where he could place to get away from this moment. His eyes caught sight of Jung-Su and that quickly brighten his spirits at seeing a familiar face. "Jung!" he waved at the boy to make sure he caught his attention. "G-Good morning," Marco stuttered a little, he wasn't sure if Jung-Su was comfortable with him, but seeing as he hadn't been kicked out then maybe the boy didn't mind his presence? He approached his classmate and took a sit next to him. "How was your Noibat? My Gible gave me a little trouble yesterday," Marco chuckled feeling like it was easier to speak with Jung-Su; he wondered why that was case since he usually had trouble speaking with others, he was never this forward. Perhaps it was because Jung-Su was a quiet person very similar to him, Marco just hoped that he wasn't bugging him. "Um, d-do you want to be partners for class? I-I know how to battle okay and our dragons kind of met each other yesterday so we could make a good t-team," the stuttering was returning, but he did hope that Jung would join him for today's activity. He didn't think he'd have any courage to ask someone else, he was practically using all his reserves right here.

Koru's heart raced as she headed down the hall. Cyndaquil seemed more focused on trying to keep his berries than her worry of being late to class. Once she got in she slammed the door accidentally and almost tripped on her own feet, a lone berry leaving Cyndaquil's grasp, "Quil!" he cried.
Koru bowed to Mr. Reyes,"I'm sorry for being late sir!"Then raced to her seat, keep a light grip on Cyndaquil so he wouldn’t run after the berries. Guess she owed him some now for her carelessness.
After taking her seat she noticed the words on the board and then Mr. Reyes began to explain the activity in more detail. She felt her body tense, not from excitement, but worry. Goomy was dubbed “The Weakest Dragon Pokemon” by the pokedex. She had never forgotten that since it had happened and she’s wondered how exactly she would fare in a fight. She was soft and was basically a pudding with a face. She didn’t want her getting hurt until she knew how to train her properly. Before she could raise her hand he went ahead and told them pick a partner. She looked around at everyone nervously, who should she ask? She set her eyes on Maria. They had battled before, and she was really kind, that gave her an idea.
She stepped over to the girl and bowed her head with both hands together in front of her,"Maria could you please be my partner?"She looked up with a nervous grin,"I’m not really sure how my Goomy will fare so could you help me out? I’ll owe you big time, Goomy will too!she activated Goomy’s pokeball and for a moment the little dragon blinked before seeing Koru in her line of sight. Her eyes sparkled and she swaddled towards her leg and cuddled her affectionately, slime sending another chill but the girl’s spine,"EH hehe…This is Goomy…"
Battle Class went without much trouble as everyone battled it out with their new Dragon Pokemon. Soon enough the bell ring to indicate the end of class and Marco was a little bummed out that he wasn't able to continue battling, but he could always train Gible after classes. Once Mr. Reyes dismissed everyone, Marco turned to Jung-Su. "Thank you for being my partner today, we should battle some time," the black-haired boy smiled at the brown-haired boy before waving goodbye. Marco made sure to wave goodbye to his teacher as well. He wasn't particularly in a hurry, but he did want to get to his afternoon class on time; he couldn't be late to both his classes today, his parents would scold him if they found out! With determination to reach his class on time, the boy got ready to dash to class; however, he stopped when he heard a beeping coming from his Poke-Gear. "An announcement?" Marco tilted his head in confusion.
AFTERNOON CLASSES ARE CANCELED FOR TODAY
The Poke-Gear was not just a great way to keep in touch with your friends, but it was also a handy device for receiving school announcements. These devices were given to them by the academy after all and therefore had certain features that were for Academy use. The announcement was simple and without many details, but it seemed that afternoon classes were canceled for the day. Marco couldn't help but scratch his head in slight confusion, but that was quickly replaced by joy at the fact that he had his whole afternoon free! "Alright! C'mon out everyone!" the boy pulled out his Pokeballs and tossed them in the air to summon his Pokemon companions. Charmander, Murkrow, and Gible waved at Marco glad to be out in the open. "Afternoon classes were canceled so we have the whole day to ourselves now," his Pokemon cheered mostly feeling happy to see their human friend happy. "I was thinking that this would be a great opportunity to show Gible our club," Marco turned to Charmander and Murkrow who knew about the Supernatural Club and had been to the room several times already. This was their chance to introduce Gible to the club and hopefully he could meet with Skylar as well. He needed to ask her about his request and he also needed to do something else as well.
"We gotta stop by the dorm before we head to the club, there's something I have to grab," he turned to Gible and gentle petted the top of his forehead. "You're going to love the club, our club president decorated it really pretty and hopefully you'll get to meet her too." Gible nodded with a smile obviously excited with the idea of going to a new place. His life was mostly experienced in the Day-Care so getting out and seeing thing beyond those fences was quite a treat. Together the group of human and Pokemon walked towards their first destination, the dorm, and then would come the Supernatural Club!
