vs! A wild level 3 Weedle appeared! Erryn sent out Rattata!
Rattata used Tackle! -40 HP from Weedle. Weedle fainted! Rattata earned 2 EXP!
Well....She guessed it made sense for the Pokemon in Aquacorde to be weak, too. It wasn't that far from Vaniville. They were practically the same town. Erryn was glad she didn't send out Farah or Growlithe."You aren't going to catch it?""No....Not this one. I'm going to end up with a lot of Pokemon, so I should try catching the strongest ones I can find so there's less training per Pokemon to worry about. I know it probably sounds silly, but I don't want to spend more time than I have to one only one, you know?"Erryn looked over at Bryant and scowled a bit at the amused glint in his eyes."You forgot how to catch them, didn't you?""...Shut up. I didn't forget. I know how to use a ball.""If you say so."Erryn's face turned red as Rattata and Cuno both tilted their heads at her, looking simultaneously amused and dumbfounded. It wasn't her fault! A lot happened and the majority of Pokemon she did have were either given to her or wanted to come with her. She didn't exactly have a lot of experience catching battled Pokemon."Jerks....Come on. I wanna look around."
Esben made a face as Huey listed off all the names he happened to go by. Hugo sounded like a good strong name, unfitting of the blonde. Huey well… yes that fit. "... Hyu… bort?" The viking child repeated, elongating the syllables far more than he needed, brow furrowing as he glanced down at Cloud, noting the pride. Why so many names?
Of course before he could question further, the Togepi interrupted with his own excitement and Esben couldn’t help but a give a cheeky grin in response. His own eyes even brightened up at the claim. "Really?!" In one swift motion he was down on his knees, staring long at hard at Cloud. "Yer bluffing! You can’t take a dragon! But…," he seemed entranced by the idea, "a’course I’ve seen smaller mind talkers… the elders always said they were really strong," absently he poked the egg again before leaving him to interact with his team. Teeg stared at the egg pokemon, chirping a little and bowing her a head a bit to let him go ahead and touch her leaf, only to squawk in surprise as she was jerked rather roughly backward. She snapped her attention around to see Byr and Isi both clutching the back of her shell, having yanked her away. Byr had a suspicious look on his face as he eyed Cloud and Isi… well Isi was still sort of just going along with what By was doing. Really, they had some nerve.
"Yeh! She did!" He blinked and frowned some, "No. Not really." He hadn’t been keeping track of time but it certainly hadn’t been all that long since they’d stumbled upon one another. Esben looked shocked though; a … breeder? That had quite the different meaning apparently for him. ". . . That’s gross. . . how could he do that?!" He made a face, staring hard at Huey. ". . . How you gonna do that?" There was something both appalling and intriguing about this that he certainly wasn’t making clear. Flef, in the meantime, found delight in interaction with Cloud, chirping excitedly and attempting to nuzzle the egg, rolling around him like some sort of furry bouncy ball, eventually pausing and starring with his one eye at the other pokemon in awe.
Esben blinked and grinned at the question about his axe. "O’course it’s real! Why wouldn’t it be!" In fact, he’d show the boy. "Byr! Isi!" the bears jumped a bit, releasing their grip on a struggling Turtwig to response, "find me a big chunk of wood!" The pair blinked, Byr immediately cheering and rushing off towards the grass. Before Isi could join, the Teddiursa returned with a decent little chunk of a log from a recently felled tree, huffing as he drug it along before dropping it next to his trainer. "G’job Byr!" He praised, patting the bear on the head which had him puffing his chest out. Esben pulled his axe free from it’s holster, brandishing with as much care as a nine year old could manage.
"Watch!" He announced. Gripping it tightly in both hands he took careful aim at the log. With one mighty swoop he swung the blade around and kind of teetered before slamming it down and splitting the chunk of log into two pieces. Esben grinned in pride, lifting the axe and letting it rest on his shoulder. "See! Think I need ta sharpen the blade though…," that’d require like… a good rock or something. Maybe that would be his next course of action.
With the thrill of reckless action out of him, he was able to pay attention just a bit better. Though that didn’t stop his confusion. Goldenrod… city? What in the world was that? It didn’t sound like a clan or anything. "Yer mum is out adventuring? Huh…," he rubbed his chin thoughtfully at that. It certainly wasn’t the norm but not unheard of where he was from. "So… your dad is tendin’ home then?" He stared blankly a moment at the remainder, huffing."No! I started my journey a long time ago!" His chest puffed out again "Since the day I was born even! That’s what warriors have ta do to be ready for our hunts! Dragons don’t care how old you are!"

Cloud bobbed his head sagely, going as far as to hold a arm-stub to his chin (as all the great scholars and thinkers did) before he beamed. "Mhm! Mhm! Huebert! It's a good nickname, isn't it? I can think of one for you too, if you'd like!" Because that was what everyone needed, wasn't it? A good nickname to really let 'em stand out from the crowd. The Togepi was pleased to have the attention of the furry boy (maybe that'd be his nickname) and he went about bobbing his head a second time at his question, much more vigorously than the last. "Am not! Promise! I've got good moves!" he boasted, before tilting his head back to look at Huey for confirmation. "He does! Plus, he's a fairy type, so dragon moves don't even affect him." Huey explained, a bit of pride in his own voice. Cloud had come a long way, and while he wasn't his strongest pokemon, he was strong in his own right.
The pokemon in question, now interacting with Esben's (or at least Teeg), cheered gleefully when the Turtwig bowed her head to let him touch her leaf -- it looked like it'd be nice to touch -- only to stumble forward when she was abruptly jerked back. He managed to catch himself, surprise lighting his expression, then tipped his head to look at Byr and Isi, the bears who didn't want him to touch Teeg's leaf. Were they territorial of it? Huey's smile, created from pride in his brother and his abilities, faded some when Esben reacted so adversely to the information. "It's not gross!" He defended, cheeks puffing out in slight anger. "My brother helps care for pokemon, and sends them off to good homes! He also raises them from eggs." Now, how you got such eggs... that information was beyond him -- but it wouldn't be like that forever! "I'm gonna... feed them and brush them, of course. And... just take care of them." It was a... lame explanation, but it was the best he could give right now.
As disappointed and confused as he was to not be allowed to play with Teeg, Cloud cheered up immensely, and immediately, when Flef approached him. He laughed at the nuzzle, before he leaned down to hug the fluff, then began twirling around, as he began circling him, to keep the pokemon in constant view; it quickly led to him becoming dizzy, but he only laughed as he teetered back and forth on his feet. Once the world stabilized, and he could stand on two feet, he patted Flef softly on the head? "How come you only have one eye?" It'd been a question he'd been yearning to ask for forever! Or... well, since he'd noticed him.
"Really?" The disbelief in Huey's voice was audible, with a hint of wariness intermingled into it. Who was letting a little kid carry around a real weapon? As hesitant as he was to believe him, it was quick to change once he got a front row seat of a bit of wood chopping. His axe was definitely real, and certainly sharp! "Oh wow... Who gave it to you?" He breathed, and leaned in to poke one of the log halves. He wasn't sure whether or not he was impressed or to be afraid, it was probably a little of both. "How do you sharpen an axe?" He certainly had no knowledge of that!
Esben was turning out to be... a lot more interesting than Huey could've anticipated, but he... well, he didn't mind being around him. At least, that was his opinion for now. "Mhm! She's got a bunch of badges and has really strong pokemon!" The blonde happily expounded. He actually found it really cool, and so he didn't mind that he didn't get to see her often. Technically, at this point, he hadn't seen any of his family. "He is. He's taking care of my younger siblings, Hannah and Lewis. They're not old enough to go on adventures yet." But that would change, one of these days! And, by that point, he'd be able to give them tips and pointers. Huey blinked, his eyes widening in surprise, before he stared down at Esben, trying to conjure up the image of a younger Esben traveling around the world. That was actually... really impressive. Though, he wasn't sure what he meant about the whole... dragon thing.
"So does that mean you have a lot of badges?"

Esben listened in awe as the information was put forth; he didn’t agree that Huebert was a good nickname nor was Hugo for the boy but he didn’t get a chance to comment as the egg pokemon was already spouting about potentially giving him a nickname. Did he want one? Not really, Esben was a solid good name. Though a title or two on his name would be cool….
"Oh?" The viking child squinted, trying to determine if he believed the claim. He was pretty sure a pokemon like Cloud was eaten by dragons, not fought and defeated them. Though he recognized the fairy claim… there were some legends but his clan didn’t quite go for utilizing them. That or just didn’t know how. Probably the latter. "Well, you’ll have to show me then! ‘Cause I don’t believe it," Esben remarked sternly, glancing between Cloud and Huey and noting the odd tone of pride. He wasn’t believing anything until he saw it with his own eyes.
Esben narrowed a look at the blond boy as he got defensive at his reaction, though as Huey explained further it became clear to the nine year old that he was speaking of something different. It certainly didn’t sound like the breeding he knew about (or vaguely knew about, he didn’t quite know details). Except for the eggs part. That sounded familiar. "Oooohhhh! That’s not breedin’!" He gave the blonde a look that seemed to suggest he was wondering if something was wrong with Huey. Here he was describing things all wrong and then getting mad about! "Well… I guess that’s good. What does he raise then? I hope they’re tough pokemon cause you gotta be tough!" He stared blankly as Huey explained how he was going to help some day. Wow. "That’s not helpin’ nothin’."
Flef chirped a bit more to the tune of a giggle as Cloud twirled about him as he circled around him, cooing a little at the pats. At the inquiry of why he only had one eye, Flef blinked and stared a moment as though thinking about it. ”Why not have one eye?” He chirped, bouncing a bit in place.
Esben grinned as he displayed his bought of sheer strength (in wood chopping), axe on shoulder and hand on hip. "Me sister did!" He proudly proclaimed, smacking the fist into his chest with a thud. "She made it special! Tough for someone just like me!" And damn if that had not been one of the proudest moments in all his young nine years of life. He blinked and gave Huey a look. "You gotta use a rock! The right rock! If I find one, I’ll show you," it was slowly becoming clear to him that Huey had no real survival knowledge. No wonder he seemed so soft! He’d need to teach him all he knew least he and his egg get eaten by some wayward dragon. "You don’t know a lot do ya? I’ll have to teach you how to survive!" Esben announced with a nod as though this was more of a statement as opposed to an offering. It was the least he could do.
Of course, the boy was caught off guard by Huey’s following comment question. Not about his mom or his dad, that sounded alright, but rather the remark concerning… badges? He paused and stared blank faced at him as though his words were in a different language all together.

Seeing was believing. Huey had heard that phrase uttered somewhere, maybe by his mom or dad once? Either way, he wasn't putt off by Esben's demand to see Cloud in action, and simply nodded his head. "M'kay. I don't think there are... many trainers who have dragons here." Naturally he looked around the small town as he spoke, eyeing the few people he saw. Not so much as to gauge or judge them, but to.. simply check them out? "But, if I find one, I'll, uhm, send you a video of it?" He actually... hm, now that he thought about it he wasn't sure how he'd be able to get Esben the proof he needed. Not unless they stuck together for a while.
He gave a soft huff, one loud enough to be heard by all, before reflecting Esben's look of confusion, and you're'-definitely-wrong, back at him. "Yes it is. That's what a breeder does." He knew for a fact that his description for a breeder was right, maybe not 100% accurate, but... he knew the gist of it. As... confused as he was, Huey let it pass and the slight flare up of anger that'd risen up. "Mm, he raises a lot of different pokemon. I think most of them come out tough, some of the pokemon my older sister uses were raised by him -- and she's pretty strong." She was... also kind of scary sometimes, but that wasn't something he needed to say out loud! He deflated upon Esben's truthful harsh commentary, and looked down at his shoes. "I'm going to help them get strong -- introduce them to battling -- ... so that'll help..." he muttered.
Cloud gasped softly at Flef, never mind the fact that he hadn't expected him to speak -- after all, he couldn't see a mouth anywhere --, he had to wrap his mind around the philosophical question he'd introduced. "Mmmmm." He had to think on that one. Why not have one eye? "Oh! 'Cause you can't wear glasses then, if you have one eye. They're meant for two eyes." And glasses were super important in life, even if you didn't need them for sight-seeing purposes.
From the axe to Esben, Huey took several seconds to contemplate the information he'd been given before he broke out into a grin. It wasn't wide, and relayed nothing more than a generally pleasant emotion, but large enough to be seen. "Your sister sounds cool." It was... some word, knowing that Esben, obviously, appreciated his older sibling. Never mind the fact that a kid shouldn't just be given any sort of weapon, let alone an axe. "Oh. Uhm, thank you." Unwilling to question the brunette's 'generosity', the boy simply nodded his head. He was kind of curious anyway. Huey frowned, he knew a lot of things. Just... not a lot about 'surviving', or whatever; he'd only been camping a handful of times, over the years. "There's more to life than just surviving, you know," he reminded him, but took the chance to take in a breathe. "Thank you though? I can... teach you some stuff too, if you want." What that was, he didn't know.
Or at least, he didn't know right in that moment. But, with a single question, Huey knew exactly what it was that he could teach Esben. Granted, he needed to get over his shock first... "You don't know what badges are?" The blonde furrowed his brow, mind whirring as he tried to figure out how a person didn't know what those were -- they were super important to trainers after all, and there were plenty of kids younger than Esben who knew what they were. But... no need to question that. "Badges are the things you get after you defeat a gym leader, it's your reward and proof that you beat them and their team." Huey paused, considering something. "They also show people how strong you are. The more badges you have, the stronger you are." Esben would resonate with that, wouldn't he? He seemed transfixed with strength. "There are eight badges in a region, and once you get all eight you can battle the Elite Four of that region -- they're super strong, much stronger than the gym leaders -- and if you beat all of them, and the Champion -- the strongest person in the entire region -- you'll be the new Champion, and everyone knows your name and everything."

Esben squinted at the Togepi, trying hard to paint the mental images of the pokemon taking down dragons as Huey assured once more that if there were dragons around to challenge, then he would certainly have the egg prove himself. The young boy looked up in confusion though as the blonde mentioned something about…. Vee dee oh? What in the word was that and how did you send it? "Wha’.... Like … a letter? How’s a letter gonna prove anything? Wha’s a vee dee yoh?" He gave Huey a bit of a questioning look; was he just making up things to try and distract Esben from the truth? He wouldn’t have doubted it!
Esben just stared at the other boy as he vigilantly attempted to defend the honor of his brother and his trade. The follow up explanation was a little more understandable and he could draw parallels with some of the practices of his own clan. There were certainly those dedicated to raising and tending pokemon for battle and work for their survival. It sounded like Huey’s brother did an alright job about raising pokemon though without seeing them he couldn’t say for sure. It sounded like the lot of them went to his eldest sister. "Oh… so yeh ain’ got any then?" This boy clearly had no filter. He just scoffed at the shuffling and mutter, squinting at Huey. "Uuhh huh….," he sounded doubtful.
Flef stared at Cloud with his one eye again, studying the egg curiously as he considered the answer. The Danshen wiggled in place, seeming to think about this remark a moment before bursting into another rapid display of chirps. It seemed for the briefest of moments it’d lost the means to communicate or maybe was so lost in this exciting revelation that he could not correctly vocalize his thoughts. "Why!" He finally piped up, though it didn’t make much sense. What was he asking why for exactly?
Esben at this point was just grinning in pride at the awe display from Huey as he took his axe to the wood in demonstration. "She’s tha best!" He proclaimed in glee and for the briefest of moments his expression waivered at the thought; where was she right now? Was she worried about him? The sooner he found a way back, the better! Of course his attention was drawn back to Huey and the lack luster response to his generous offer to help him learn how to survive. What? That was a valuable skill! And this kid needed to learn it!
"What’cha mean? Ain’ nothin’ more important than survivin’!" Esben scoffered. Clearly Huey was confused on what actually mattered. Those thoughts faded away for the time being into confusion as the other boy explained what these ‘badges’ were, though the confusion etched on his face made it clear that he wasn’t entirely certain he believed it all. Gym leaders? What were those? And how did beating them and getting badges (which he still didn’t quite have a clue what they were) make on stronger? And what was this Elite Four nonsense? Four of what… the strongest warriors? It sounded like a rather intense challenge. "Huh… so like… yeh gotta take’em all out and claim the top? Like… you become the new leader and everything by defeatin’ them all?" Of course, Esben was thinking of this challenge in a much different manner than intended. How did they replenish the leaders and champions if they were defeated? It had to take years of training… huh… it was a lot to take in to be honest but he suddenly felt a burst of inspiration. "Forget the leaders! I’ll take that champion on now! Where do I find them?!" He felt he was ready now!

He was supposed to be polite, Huey knew this, and his parents had taught him his manners. But, the boy couldn't help but to stare at Esben, eyebrows knitted tightly together, as if he'd just grown two extra heads. "How... do you not know what a video is?" What were his parents teaching him? Were they like... that one group of people his brother had told him about. The... Ambush? They didn't know what electronics were. Maybe Esben was that. "No, it's not a letter. It's, uhm a recording? Of an event that happens. You can make videos with your phone or video camera." Honestly, now that he was here, explaining what a video was, Huey realized that he actually didn't know the logistics of a video. He just... knew what it was. "I'll just.. show you, we can go to a library and use their computer," he amended. His phone didn't actually allow him get onto the internet, mostly because he didn't have much use for it.
This conversation was just odd, and he was getting even more odder as time passed. Huey huffed, cheeks inflating in the process, then shook his head. "I have a ton of strong pokemon!" he insisted. Just because he was a kid didn't mean he couldn't train his pokemon to be powerful. "See, look!" Eager to prove the younger boy wrong, he released his two strongest pokemon, Beep and Dianna, then gestured to them proudly. "This is Beep and Dianna, and they're way strong!" Both pokemon, after taking in the new area, waved at Esben, Beep's more animated.
Cloud waited patiently for Flef to respond, though as eager as he was he quickly became distracted by the hairball's chirping. He didn't join in, but did provide youthful clapping to go along with his noises. "Oh!" When he finally did answer, the Togepi found himself... stumped, once more; he was so wise for his young age, and lack of two eyes... "Probably because the glasses police wouldn't allow it -- you've just gotta have two eyes!" He eventually answered, and proudly at that; the glasses police were, most definitely, a real thing. He hummed softly, thinking of such uniformed officers, before patting the top of Flef's head. "Let's be friends, Flef! I'll give you a nickname and everything!" he promised, because nicknames were important.
Even with Esben's candid nature, Huey could still find a reason to smile, and it was because of the way Ebsen spoke about his sister. "What's her name?" Showing interest in other's interests were how you made friends, probably. That's what he'd heard at least. The blonde made a face, and gave a noncommittal shrug, unsure of how to respond. "I mean... living is important, but there are other things. Like, uhm, finding out what you wanna do when you grow up, and making friends; those are important too." Realizing he couldn't exactly... explain his point, Huey was happy to go about explaining something he knew about, and pretty well at that. "Mhm! Just like that!" He responded, glad that Esben seemed to understand. He held up a hand, indicating that the brunette wait, before he pulled his backpack off and from it pulled out his badge case. "See! These are badges," he presented his six rather proudly, a smile on his face. The boy laughed at the other's enthusiasm, but shook his head all the same. "You can't take them on now, if you don't have the badges they won't even let you fight the Elite Four."
It was a... good way to keep super weak people from challenging the Elite 4, and wasting their time -- and also making sure the pokemon didn't get needlessly hurt. "You should fight the gym leaders here, if you really want to fight the champion. I can take you to the first one, if you'd like," he offered. He... didn't want to say it out loud -- because Esben would definitely get mad -- but.. the kid didn't know a lot, and he was afraid to just... leave him on his own.

Esben wasn’t phased (or didn’t seem to be) at the stare he received from Huey. Instead he continued to give the blonde a look of his own, a sort of disturbed disapproval at the way it was worded. "No! I don’t, so what? Can’t be that important… in fact, it sounds dumb!" He announced with a huff, arms folding over his chest as he puffed it out in defiance. He only half listened to the explanation, face contorting in further confusion. Recording? Phones? Video cameras? What were these foreign things? He’d never heard of them before. "You’re just makin’ stuff up now!" That or Huey was trying to make the concept of “writing” sound far more interesting than it was because everything he said sounded much like what the record keeps of his clan did. Except without these “videeohs”."Wha’s a library…," he hadn’t heard half the words the lad was using. What was this mess?
Esben quirked his head to the side at the explosive response to his claim that Huey didn’t have strong pokemon, looking taken back just a bit as the boy unleashed two of his teammates just to prove his point. Wow, the bravado on this blonde was impressive and even a young Esben had to admit, the pair produced looked rather strong. At least the red one did, the sheep thing was just very… fluffy.
"Hmm…," Esben murmured, stepping about the pair, a studious look on his face, clearly putting the nine years of life experiences to the test as he judged the worth of Huey’s claim. Eventually he strolled back to stand in front of the three, arms folded over his chest. "Aigh’... I’ll give ya that. They look strong. Sort of." He didn’t sound too impressed, but really he would’ve probably gushed a bit if there was display of power. But it was important for a viking to maintain their composure and he certainly would!
Flef of course, entertained himself with Cloud and his curious questions, staring at him blankly as he remarked on the important facts behind having two eyes. Being a young fluff ball with the same level of knowledge as his nine year trainer, he had absolutely no idea what the egg was talking about in regards to glasses police or the importance that two eyes might bring. Glasses! What those? He chirped excitedly, beginning to bounce again. This was the time to learn about such things after all. The fluff gave a wide eye stare again as Cloud announced they ought to be friends and that he’d even give him a nickname. Oh? Flef paused a moment, shaking lightly in place before bursting to chirps again. Friends! Friends! Names! Friends! He was obviously on board with this exciting learning proposition.
Esben’s chest puffed in pride, the widest grin possible spreading on his young face. "Her name is Ulrika! Or Ulla! She and Eskil taught me everythin’ I know!" He practically swung the axe in his display of pride, but refrained, instead tucking it back into the leather holster-wrap at his back. Which is what made Huey’s responses to survival learning all the less confusing. "None a those things gonna keep you alive," the young boy remarked pointedly with a frown. Of course, he already knew what he wanted to be when he grew up. "I already know what I want to be! I’ll be the greatest warrior of my clan ever! I’ll slay the biggest dragons there are!" He announced, pounding a fist to his chest. No one would get in his way either!
In fact, this challenge sounded like an excellent start to his journey, though Huey’s halting caught him off guard. "Wha…," he squinted, staring at the badge case. What was that? Little buttons or something? The viking scoffed, swiping a hand through the air to wave the case away. "Bah! Real warriors don’t need buttons!" As Huey laid down the facts though, Esben couldn’t help but scowl a bit. What an awful way to prove your worthiness as a warrior. With buttons of all things! He huffed, narrowing a disgruntled look at the blonde. "Oh yeh? Fine! I will! I’ll show yeh I can take yer champions now! Without those silly buttons!" He turned to his team and flailed an arm, retrieving Flef to carry before turning to Huey. "Lead the way to the first challenge! I’m ready!"

After giving Rattata a hug and a pat on the head to congratulate him for his victory, Erryn returned him to his ball and stretched."Can Bunnelby be found anywhere else?""I think they're in Santalune City, too. Why?""No reason. I was just curious. If we don't end up having any luck here, we can try later in Santalune is all.""There are a lot more Pokemon there than here in Aquacorde. You'll have a better chance at catching one here."Erryn stuck her tongue out at Bryant to playfully mock his statistics, but she trusted he knew what he was talking about. He was clearly familiar with Kalos."Still, I don't want to spend too much time here. It's nice to know I'm not missing out if I move on."
What even was a Bunnelby? Erryn was curious because she couldn't decide if the name was cute or weird or both. Not that a Pokemon had to cute to be interesting to her; it was just that Bunnelby sounded like it could be a bunny and she hadn't seen any rabbit Pokemon yet. As she contemplated how cute a bunny Pokemon would be, a nearby bush ruffled and caught her attention. Without any care in the world, something that was definitely a bunny hopped out and Erryn stared at it for a couple seconds before pointing."Bunnelby?""Bunnelby"What even were the odds of that? Even Bryant seemed impressed. Erryn beamed a bit as she sent out Rattata again. It seemed safe enough to let him handle the Pokemon in this area.
vs! A wild level 4 Bunnelby appeared! Erryn sent out Rattata!
Rattata used Scratch! -40 HP from Bunnelby. Bunnelby fainted! Rattata earned 5 EXP!
Definitely not the most impressive Bunnelby, but she wasn't one to look a gift horse in the mouth....Whatever that meant. It was something her parents said a lot. Grabbing a ball, Erryn looked at Bryant and he urged her to throw it; so, she did. And, she watched as it absorbed the unconscious Pokemon only to wiggle and blink rapidly as it tried to escape."Come on....Don't fail now."This was an incredibly lucky encounter. Who knew when she'd run into a Bunnelby again? Thankfully, fate was on her side and the ball stilled and pinged. She'd successfully caught it! Yes! Hopefully this time she remembered how to catch battled Pokemon."I guess there's nothing stopping us from going to the forest now. Unless there's other Pokemon here I should try to catch?""None that are local to Kalos. There's Pidgey, but you can catch that back in Kanto.""Alright~! Onward to the forest!"
