Olivia gave a half smirk at Vince, pleased at his admittance. Now, if she ever wanted to surprise him with a present he might like, she knew what to get him; of course, this was more of a trainer present than a personal one, but in time she imagined she'd learn that too. Speaking on being a trainer, the pinkette only nodded when Vince explained the method he'd have to use for his pokemon, keeping a better eye on it and restricting it in certain areas seemed like a start. "Do you think it had a previous trainer that made it this way?" she inquired, her shock now replaced with curiosity.
"Alola?" Olivia pursed her lips in thought, her gaze already sliding over to Elgyem curiously. The psychic, taking immediate note of the shift in attention, bore her gaze into Olivia's before she gave a nod, answering her silent question. "No, but when I opened up my incense I caught a few pokemon from there. It was actually pretty weird, since they're originally from Kanto, Vulpix and Sandshrew, but they're regional variants-- so in Alola they look and have a different typing." Pulling out her pokedex Olivia turned it on before she began looking through it--from what she understood this thing got updated every time a new pokemon was captured--then grinned as she showed Vince, first, the Alola Vulpix and then the Sandshrew. "Weird, right?" Not keen on breaking such an important device she put the pokedex away after she finished showing it to Vince, raising an eyebrow at his suggestion to visit Alola. "Maybe. We'll need to see though," she replied, keeping her tone light but not giving an actual answer. She was, after all, supposed to stick around in Kanto and keep an eye out for Team Flare, and she was already doing quite a bit of traveling as it was.

Vince frowned thoughtfully when Olivia suggested the idea of the ghoizard having a previous trainer that allowed or encouraged it's poor behavior. "It may be, but it's also impossible to know for sure unless I happened to meet it's previous trainer." He suggested, moving on to a lighter subject of all the new pokemon he'd caught, mostly ones from Alola. He caught the exchange between Olivia and the oddly colored elgyem, whom he had noticed when first reuniting with Olivia, but hadn't really questioned until now. He had assumed it was another stray that joined Olivia's menagerie of adopted pokemon, but that look and nod seemed to imply something else going on behind the scenes, which was... Odd. Vince kept his expression neutral, as if he suspected nothing, though given the fact that the elgyem was a psychic type, it probably picked up on his true feelings. Still, his attention shifted to Olivia as she explained that while she didn't know much about Alola, she had caught some regional variants of vulpix and sandshrew. "Really? How interesting..." Vince mused. He really was intrigued by the fact that those Kanto pokemon could have different types if they were from Alola, but it was hard to be fully interested when he was far more curious as to why she'd needed the elgyem to nod before giving him that information.
No. Vince mentally shook his head. She was probably just asking it for confirmation of accuracy, that way she didn't give false information. This wasn't some big secret. He needed to get out of this mindset... Olivia was an ally, not an enemy. She wasn't hiding things from him.... Like he was doing. Vince's gaze dropped in shame at the thought, but he looked at Olivia's pokedex as she showed him the strange variants. "I wonder if any Kanto pokemon get a dragon typing as a regional variant.... Find any ice dragons with that incense?" Vince asked curiously. Though, if he really had gotten a kyurem from the book, he technically wouldn't need another ice dragon, but it might be nice to have a non legendary ice dragon to use in case he needed to lay under the radar. Given how foreign Alola was to them, and how interesting pokemon seemed to be cropping up from it, Vince suggested that perhaps they make Alola their next stop after Hoenn, which Olivia seemed to consider, but ultimately gave a vague answer. "Right, we should take things one step at a time." He agreed. He was getting a little ahead of himself; he blamed the exciting prospect of new dragons to find.
"I guess you're right about that," Olivia agreed, quietly. She'd never seen a pokemon like the one Vince had before, though that wasn't saying much, but what she knew of most pokemon was that they, usually, weren't inherently cruel. "You could also ask it yourself," she suggested after some quiet thought. "Have a psychic or ghost around to translate for you." At this, however, she turned to look at the psychic currently in her company, only to find Elgyem staring at Vince. Eyes blank she bore into the male with a lingering gaze that only broke when she turned her head to look at Olivia. She had the option of sharing with the woman her partner's suspicions, but a quick decision changed her mind and she turned to look ahead.
With pursed lips and a furrowed brow Olivia shook her head, her attention slowly ebbing away from Elgyem and back towards her pokedex as she chalked up the psychic's strange behavior to... just her personality; where had Sydney found this one? "Unfortunately I didn't find any ice dragons," she answered, a bit disappointed herself. "If I had, I would've caught you one." An ice and dragon type pokemon would be good for Vince, it'd give him a type resistance that the rest of his pokemon didn't have; as their battle against Zinzilon's Weavile had shown. Olivia gave a breathy laugh before she took a side-step to gently nudge Vince, amused by his excitement at the prospect of visiting a new region. "It's nice to see you excited though," she teased. It seemed that they both agreed about the situation with the ghoizard, unfortunately. "Hm... I suppose I could ask." He hadn't really thought about that option. "Actually, it is a ghost type, so I believe it could speak for itself. It has yet to say anything to me, but supposedly, it should be capable." Vince suggested. Though he could feel the elgyem's stare, he ignored it. If the little psychic was trying to intimidate him, it wouldn't work. All her stare did was make him have second thoughts about his suspicions that something was going on. He still didn't believe Olivia would be hiding anything from him, but it was possible something could be going on without her knowledge, and if that was the case, he suspected the elgyem first. He wouldn't jump to conclusions, but that stare was certainly a red flag, unless it was just her personality.
Vince waved dismissively when Olivia apologized for the lack of ice dragons. "Don't worry about it. The only ice and dragon pokemon I know of is the legendary dragon kyurem.... Needless to say, the type combination is rare." Vince explained. He still had that pokeball that his book had summoned. He wanted to tell Olivia, but he wasn't sure if he was actually had the legendary dragon in his possession, since he'd just taken the pokeball without checking what lurked inside. He didn't want to say anything unless he was absolutely sure. "I appreciate the thought." He smiled, happy to know that Olivia would have caught any dragons, had she seen them. He gave a sort of sheepish smile as she nudged him teasingly for being so excited about his new pokemon and the book. "H-heh.... Well... Thank you...?" He wasn't really sure how to respond, though he nodded in agreement when she suggested that they could research Alola while they were in Hoenn. "Sounds like a plan." He agreed, noticing that they were nearing the gate to South Lumiose. "Ah... It feels like we were just here...." Vince mused. "The train is in the northern side of Lumiose, right?" He asked, walking through the gate alongside Olive.

Terrence was happy that they finally found their second egg. It was going well so far, and for that he was quite happy. Now they just needed to find the other eggs and they'd be golden. He did wonder what the prize was for finding all the eggs. It had to be a big prize right? They did have to go to all the regions to find them after all, surely they're worth all the effort right? He was really excited to find out, he wanted to get to their next destination as soon as possible. Though his body did seem to protest a bit, he ignored it. After all his pokemon all looked so excited to find the egg. How could he possible slow them down? What partner would that make him? So he hid his discomfort for the moment and carried on. After this town they'd have to go through a cave to get to the next one right? Well then he better get metnally ready, after all he was pretty sure some of his pokemon rather disliked the darkness a cave brought. He sighed, gluping a bit. Well it was now or nothing!

Terrence just straight up ignored the towns people, he wanted to get through the town fast and easy. He knew exactly where to go after all, he was here earlier that day. He muttered under his breath, and kicked the ground a bit, before moving on. Az tried to cheer him up a bit, but Terrence didn't really take much notice of it. Checking the flyer once more, Ambrette Town was the next area they were headed to, and if memory served the seaside town was only a cave away. Which meant that they'd just be passing through Camphrier. "There's gotta be an easier way to get to all these places," Lysander complained, eyes roaming the other forty-eight areas they needed to get to. "There probably is. We oughta ask the people in charge," Heather suggested, her own gaze on the houses and other buildings they passed as they walked through Camphier. "They didn't give us a number to call," he responded, looking to the very bottom of the paper. "I guess we can ask Nurse Joy, I did find this at a Pokémon Center."
Heather nodded in agreement, only to pause as something occurred to her. "Isn't it weird?" Lysander looked up, making a face. "What?" There were a lot of things that were weird, after all... "That every Nurse Joy we meet is named Joy. Don't their mother's ever want them to have any originality?" Heather inquired, then grinned as they began walking past the town's pokecenter, well wasn't that a bit of serendipity~ "I dunno. Maybe it's a family name?" Lysander suggested, just as his communicator went off. Without even bothering to check who it was he opened up his messenger, grin only appearing when he confirmed that it really was a text from Melody. He began responding, turning out his sister as she started on a theory. "Yeah, but every single last one of them? It's so weird..."
Text to Melody: Maybe give him to the enemy then? Fool them into thinking they've stolen the 'ultimate weapon', they'd surrender before the day was even over.
Oh yeah, adorable. That's the word for it. Not 'creepy' or 'disturbing' at all. Alas, I can't say it's for me, I'll leave it to all those other pop stars. You could pick it up for me, if you wanted. Be a role model for all those girls, have them remodel their entire lives after yours.
You're a far stronger and generous person than I, I don't know if I could do all of that without pay. I have a hard time imagining those moments, but, hey, I'll take your word for it. Here's hoping you get more of those moments.

According to the Dex'Map entry, Camphrier still had the stone wall that had been built around it hundreds of years ago. There were only two gates in or out and both were guarded. Though now by the police rather then armored guards Emory assumed. The town must have been of some significance during or before the war for its inhabitants to have built a wall to protect it. "Maybe it was a key trading post?" Emory thought as she closed the Poke'Dex and stuffed it into her over sized jacket having changed back to her normal attire.
The gypsy outfit was ... interesting, and fun for some occasions but differently not a daily choice. Escpailly considering she had had to explain them to her parents. Natural dad had been much more standoffish about it then mom. In the end, it wasn't worth fighting for something she really didn't care about. Maybe if she didn't feel naked in them she might have made an effort. At any rate, it was nice to be back in her over sized T, jacket, and Beany. This suited her much better really. No need to dress the part of a Gypsy just because she was living like one.

It was just over that bridge and a few more miles. It was so close! She couldn't believe her luck. It was a little much to be this close and forced to turn back, even if it was only a temporary set back. The mute resigned herself to the inside of the wagon so she wouldn't have to look at all the tree's she'd be passing, again. If there was one thing Emory seriously couldn't stand it was being this close and having to watch all her progress passing her by as she backtracked. Thankfully she wasn't so far gone that the trip back would take even a week. A day or two at best.
Setting camp on the last night before hitting South Lumiose Emory watched from the wagons small porch as the Volbeat and Illumise flashed their lights all around her in the dark night sky to attract a mate. She'd heard stories of how beautiful Kalos region was but to see it for herself was something entirely different. Emory intentionally didn't start a campfire so as to not disturb them using only the light of a lantern that hung from the wagons root. It only gave enough light to let her see past the first few feet from the wheels but beyond that, it was pitch-black.
Even still a rouge Illumise came to investigate and becoming quite upset it had been tricked by the small flickering light as it waved in a soft breeze. Emory tried to show it away but it didn't work. The bug Pokemon was intent on getting at the lantern. Emory had no choice but to retaliate. Skitty was already out on the porch so she was the closest to helping her. Emory took a second to stop trying to push the bug away to instead clap. Clap as hard as she could. It caught the bug-type off guard and got Skitty's attention and a split second later the Illumise was recoiling back. Skitty had picked up on the none verbal commands rather quickly these last few days so she instantly understood what to do. Emory following up with a Stomp. Skitty obeyed this command as well finishing the fight and sending the poor bug-type fleeing back into the night sky.
With that taken care of Emory blew the small flame out to avoid a repeat before slipping inside the wagon. Inside was spacious but somehow still cramped. She'd cleaned out most of the junk clutter leaving a nice opened space up-top but the floor space she still had to fight with from time to time. It was nicely organized with tons of room and hidden compartments to ferret away the odd nick nack here and there or to just get something out of the way. Crawling into bed Emory slept into slumber. Dawn wasn;t but a few hours away and she'd need to be back on the road soon enough. Even if she didn't wake up right away, Mudsdale would begin anew once he woke up and Luyponny had him strapped in.
