If you would like to battle a wild pokemon, then generate a number between 1-16 in the RNG thread; this will determine the Pokemon that appears. If you roll a single battle pokemon encounter, then refer to the single battle pokemon level chart to roll again and determine the level of the pokemon you encounter. If you rolled a Horde battle, five pokemon of the pokemon horde you rolled will appear. Please refer to the Horde Battle pokemon level chart to roll again and determine the level of each of the five pokemon in that Horde.
Camphier in sight, Avikna quickened her pace. She wanted nothing more then to find her self at the Pokemon Center and resting. Everyone was beat and they needed the rest. She was lucky enough to do this, but only long enough for her Pokemon to get a look over by Nurse Joy. Their hope for a peaceful rest was ruined with the appearance of five rambunctious Scraggy. The group of hooligans had decided to invade the Pokemon center. Standing smack dab in the center at the counter, Avikna was the first person they targeted, posing a challenge to the tired and easily irritated female. "I'm so sorry... They do this every so often." Nurse Joy apologized. "Don't apologize, I'll deal with them. Though it might get a bit messy. Zelda, come on out and deal with them." Avikna called, releasing Zelda from her ball. The Skrelp looked back at Avikna, perhaps waiting for an explanation of what had happened back in Lumiose, but decided she'd need to deal with the Scraggy before she got answers. "Use Surf." Pulling up the moister in the air, the Skrelp drew in a tidal wave of water, that washed over the center floor, and forced the five Scraggy out the door of the center and into the town once more. Nurse Joy was a bit surprised by this, but ultimately, they were dealt with for the time being. Avikna took her leave, heading to the room she'd reserved for a long well needed nap

Once her head hit the pillow, she was out. Like a light she was off for the rest of the night and for a good amount of the next day. Well over 14 hours of sleep, the red-head finally began to stir from her dreamless slumber. Her headache was miraculously gone, though her neck was a bit stiff. Whatever the case she felt better. 'Feeling better?' Mave asked as she noticed Avikna sitting up. "I'll feel even better after a bath." She replied, sluggishly getting to her feet. "Astrid, Zelda want to come?" Avikna asked as she gathered what little thing in her bag that related to cleaning herself. Astrid was all for it, having to fuss over Zelda in order to get the Skrelp to come along. 'What about me?' Mave asked, acting as though her feeling had been hurt. "You're a fire-type aren't you? Water doesn't bode well with your kind." Avikna replied. The wolf grinned, laying back down. 'Correct, won't touch the stuff. I'll self-clean then.' Shaking her head at the Maveretta, Avikna left the room.
After a good hour long soak, the red-head finally returned to her room, feeling even better then before. There was an actual skip in her step as she packed away her bath things. Feeling fresh and no longer smelling of the sea, she actually held a smile on her face. Zelda appeared a bit more annoyed after all the bath-time shenanigans with Astrid around, but all in all the Skrelp was felling better after that nice cleaning herself. Fighting a thousand years in the past could make anyone fell rather... drained. Especially with Yveltal involved.
Ready to leave, Avikna made it a point to warn her team about the threat of Hojo. As if it was needed. Regardless, anything revolved around the word 'Rocket' or 'Flare' was to be ignored. For the time being she needed to look into getting some extra cash to purchase something to cover of the tattoo on her arm, and maybe someway to hide her hair, like a hat of sorts. With that as the plan, the red-head left with her Pokemon in tow, heading back into town. Of course, finding a job was easier said than done. Most everyone was already filled up on hands, and every shop she was refereed too ended up with the same excuses. In the end, she found making some money was going to be a pain in the a**. Until finally, she had a chance encounter with an old woman heading to work in the Shabboneau Castle.

After another refusal, Avikna turned away from the shop she was currently seeking employment from. With a huff, she placed her hands upon her hips. "Work is hard to come by it seems." She stated, turning, just in time to run right into an elderly woman. The old woman dropped her bags, finding the contents spilled all over the ground. "Oh, I'm so sorry." Avikna stated, leaning forward to help the old woman pick up her things. "Oh, It's nothing to worry about dear, I wasn't looking where I was going after all." She replied, nearly falling over as she reached to pick up an orange. Mave stepped in, aiding the woman back up straight. "What a kind Pokemon." She stated, adjusting her glasses. Startled at first by Mave's appearance, the old woman eventually smiled. "Such a rare creature... why I haven't seen one in well over twenty-four years." Avikna stopped momentarily as she went to place another fallen fruit back into the old ladies bag. "You mean you've seen one before?" Avikna asked. Mave hadn't really divulged where her species came from, or how rare her species were, and to Avikna it just sounded rather out of place that someone wasn't unsure what Mave was, or wasn't staring at the wolf/dragon-like Pokemon. "Yes, back in my days as a trainer. I came across a valley full of Mareve, a single Maveretta flying overhead looking down on the pack." Without Mave's help, the old woman straightened up and turned towards back the way she was going. "They're beautiful creatures." Mave leaned forward, almost hovering over the old woman before she started to move ahead, Avikna followed, carrying the old woman's bag. Avikna heard the questions Mave was asking to herself, and decided to get some answers for the wolf. "Where did you see them? Was it here? In Kalos?" Avikna asked. Glancing over to Avikna the old woman nodded. "Yes, it was around the Pokemon village I believe, I was on my way back home to Santalune after getting my final badge in Snowbelle City. I was so ecstatic to return home with the news, but somehow I managed to get lost and came out on a cliff overlooking a valley." Mave was quite fascinated, as was Avikna. The red-head continued to ask various questions about the old woman's travels, until finally they reached a stopping point.
"Look at this, we've been talking all the way to my work." The old woman chuckled. "It was fun, dear, but I should be going." Grabbing her bag from Avikna, the old woman turned, stopping a moment to kick at a loose stone belonging to a stone wall. "That man should really hire someone to fix this. It's an accident waiting to happen." The old woman muttered. Hearing this, Avikna stepped forward, placing a hand on the woman's shoulder. "I could do it." The old woman turned with a smile. "Oh dear, that's a job for someone strong." The old woman shook her head. "Not to say us women are not strong, but..." "I can do it." Avikna intrupted. "I don't really remember much of my past, but according to my Maveretta I trained with Byron the Gym leader of Canalave City." Eyes widening the woman appeared rather startled at this news. "Really now? Oh, then you must be strong. Okay dear, it's worth a try. Follow me." At least she was now getting her foot in the door. A bit to giddy for Avikna, Mave rolled her eyes, but followed her enthusiastic trainer into the castle.

Leading Avikna through the castle and up to what looked like a private study, a man greeted the old woman, though hesitated upon seeing Avikna following her. "You never mentioned having a petite-fille, Lucie." The man stated, leaning forward into his desk. The top of which was clean cut with only two books near it's edge. Sitting before him was a long piece of paper, covered by his arms as he leaned forward. In one hand a pen rested precariously between his forefinger and thumb. One of those Porygon-z bobby head things on the adjacent corner, doing what it was meant to do. On the other side of the desk, a phone rested, it's style relative to the 19oo's with a style for turn-style dials were a thing, though the phone itself looked relatively new, a sort of retro design perhaps. Whatever the case it didn't fit a castle, but it did fit the feel of the office.
Shaking her head, the old woman stepped to the side, and grabbed Avikna by her wrist. "This young dear has offered to fix the stone wall surrounding the castle." She explained. "She say she trained with Byron, of Shinnoh's Canalave city." Something out the tone the old woman used drew a bit of anger from Avikna, her eyes narrowing. "I did!... Apparently." Stepping forward, she stopped when the man held up a hand. "Don't get Lucy wrong. She may sound like she's joking, but it's merely her way of teasing. She wouldn't have brought you here to make fun of you." The man stated, standing up. Placing his pen down, he walking around the desk, stopped a few feet in front of Avikna. Outstretching a hand, Avikna instinctively reached forward and took it with her own. She felt him squeeze hard, to which she responded with squeezing back. A firm handshake was a good way of getting a good impression. He quickly let go of her hand then placed a hand on her shoulder. "Alright, Let's see what you can do." Giving a nod to Lucy, the man directed Avikna back out of the office and through the castle until finally they made it to a different entrance than the one she and the old woman had entered.
"The job is simple." He began, as they continued to walk. "Find any out of place stones and put them back in place. We use a special puddy to seal the stones in place, so you'll be using that. It's simple to make, as over the years we've sort of perfected it. All you need to do is add water, and voila." Stopping just outside a small building situated next to a larger greenhouse, the man waved to another man, who was busily repairing a push lawnmower. "If you have any questions, just as Percy." With a strong pat on the back, the man give a reassuring smile with a nod, then turned and started back towards the castle.

Standing outside the shed for a moment, assessing her situation in her head, she looked over at Mave, then up to Zelda. "Seems we finally got a job." Hopefully she didn't mess up and end up being fired. With a sigh she stepped towards the shed, and fiddled with the door a bit before finally getting it open. Inside, the smell of fertilizer caught her off guard. It was surprising how strong it was. Shaking her head, she stepped inside, fighting past the smell, it was actually nothing compared to smelling like the sea. The puddy she needed to use was rested in the far back end corner, neatly stacked one on top of the other. Grabbing one, she struggled at first with the weight. Looking back, Mave shrugged,she couldn't fit through the door let alone fit in there to grab one. Adjusting the weight of the bag, Avikna attempted for a second time to lift it up, getting it balanced enough in her arms to carry it to the edge of the doorway. From there she used the same technique to get the other two bags.
When finally she got them out onto the lawn, the red-head read the instructions on the packaging, finding she needed to add water just before using them, otherwise the product might harden before she got the chance to use it. Finding a wheelbarrow, she poured on bag's contents out, and began across the yard until she meet the fence, Mave carried the other two bags while Zelda just floated along for the ride, holding a stirring stick in her coiled ail fins. Now was the time to get to work.

.Pushing the wheelbarrow across the yard, Avikna eventually made it to a rough looking patch of the wall. Setting it down she knelled down by the wall and began testing a few rocks, sliding in and adjusting a few here and there. Most seemed pretty sturdy, but still a bit of puddy would do them good. Stirring up a bit, she began work on the rocks. Her work though was quickly interrupted by a Illumise, who was busily dancing around a nearby pond. Wiping a bit of sweat off her face, the red-head motioned towards the bug who was busily making noise at them. "Celsius, can you deal with it?" She asked the sword. Uncoiling his cloth from her neck, the sword floated forward, calling back at the bug for a challenge. Floating forward, the Illumise agreed. Celsius started things by quickly attacking with Shadow Sneak, catching the bug by surprise. Tumbling in the air, the Illumise released a Sweet scent. Though he held no nose, the powder from the bug's attack slowed down Celsius' movement, luckily though he recovered in time to use a Swords Dance. By then the Illumise recovered and returned fire with Tackle, finding it's move null, as Celsius typing made the attack useless. Thus he got off a powered up Shadow Sneak. Not giving up, the bug turned with a waggle of it's tail, trying for another Tackle. Finding it's attack useless a second time, Celsius attacked once more, again with Shadow Sneak, Finally felling the bug. Sheathing itself, Celsius headed back to Avikna.
Not entirely paying attention to his battle, since she could afford to let what she'd mixed up solidify, the Honedge returned to find she had a present for him. "I found it amongst the wall, I don't know how a Lucky egg got there, but it doesn't look like it's needed for the wall." Avikna explained, ultimately guessing it wouldn't be missed. Wrapping his cloth around the egg, the sword floated at Avikna's side for a moment, rather... perplexed by receiving a gift. Whatever the case, there wasn't much time to admire it as another challenger approached the working trainer and her Pokemon.

.Offering a nod to Celsius, the sword floated forward, once more blocking Avikna from the posing battler. Her other Pokemon were busy helping Avikna tend to the puddy and wall, besides Mave, who really didn't need the training, like Celsius did. Finding his foe was a Roselia, he sort of lingered before issuing Swords dance, making bigger more slender blades dance around him. The Roselia held up her roses and unleashed a flurry of poisonous needles. Once more Celsius found himself impervious to a challenger's attack, and swiftly issued Swords dance once more to get a bit stronger. The Roselia pursed her lips, issuing Growth to gain some advantage in the battle herself. Celsius couldn't linger any longer and with a swift use of Shadow Sneak, he struck the rose-handed Pokemon for a good bit of damage. Coiling in pain, the Roselia tried to absorb some strength this time, finding she did little to turn the battle to her favor. Attacking once more with Shadow Sneak, the Roselia tried once more for a Poison Needle attack, only to find it pointless, and with a swift slice of his blade, the Honedge won once more. The look of joy almost passed by the blade's eye, but he restrained himself, turning to find his winning streak posing a challenge to the other Pokemon of the castle's garden. This was certainly going to turn into a gauntlet of sorts wasn't it? Well, Celsius knew he was up for it, and with a sharp 'Hone' He posed his challenge to the other Pokemon, getting his third opponent almost instantly.

A rather pretty Pokemon floated forward, the smell of candy in the air. Once more, with now nose Celsius was oblivious to the precious smell. With a sharp cry, he began the battle, using Swords Dance to beef himself up a bit. The Swirlix cheerfully landed upon the ground with a happy cry, summoning a strange breeze that wafted over the garden, making some of the surrounding Pokemon smile. Celsius himself was barely effected by the attack, but found he wasn't immune to it at the same time. As with Absorb it did little to harm him. Unleashing his first Shadow Sneak, he startled the Swirlix to unleash a Sweet Scent, just as he'd done with the Illumise, it did little to bother Celsius this time, but it did manage to call forward a bit more Pokemon from around the garden.
Attacking once more with another Shadow Sneak, this time the Swirlix simply used another Fairy Wind, pushing Celsius back only slightly, regaining itself just as Celsius recovered to use one last Shadow Sneak, ending the bout. Cheering for himself, Celsius turned to find another opponent stepped forward, as a few Pokemon rushed over to grab the defeated Swirlix.

His next foe was to be a Volbeat, the counterpart to the Illumise from earlier. With sheath still clutched in his cloth, the blade quickly issued his first attack, beefing up with a Swords Dance. The Volbeat thought it could get the upper hand by using Double team a few times while Celsius maxed out his attack, however it was sorely mistaken when Celsius went for an attack, sweeping the field of all the fake Volbeat, and finally attacking the real one. Tumbling through the air, the Volbeat corrected itself mid-flight and dove in for a tackle, missing thanks to Celsius' typing. It seemed both his ability and typing were no match for the Pokemon of this garden. With another Shadow Sneak, he felled the Volbeat, turning up victor once more.
Meanwhile, Avikna had moved on to a further part of the stone wall, finding herself getting a bit peckish, but as far as hard work went, this was nothing compared to working with Byron. It wouldn't be long before she'd got nearly a quarter of the wall finished, and it was only coming around to the late afternoon. One thing was certain... she was a bit hungry. Thankfully that was remedied when she heard her name being called. Looking back, she noticed the old woman walking through the garden, a basket held up by an arm. "Dear, would you care to join me for some early supper?" She asked with a smile. Avikna would have said no, but her stomach was telling her otherwise. "Sure, thank you for asking." The red-head replied, using a cloth provided by the woman she got her hands as clean as they could get. "That stuff will come off eventually." The old woman chuckled. Leading Avikna to a glass table, the woman began to unpack her basket, revealing not only sandwiches and a pretty tea set, but also some cookies and a few things of Pokemon food. Looking back towards where she'd left Celsius, the ghost blade seemed to be having fun, so she decided to let him continue playing with the other Pokemon. "I'll save a bit for him later. Even Ghost-types love my food." The old woman chuckled. Pouring out some tea for herself and Avikna, the Old woman then sat down. "Dig in."

Celsius's next challenger posed it's challenge with the warning of a Quick Attack. Though it didn't effect the blade, it still got his attention. Building up a Swords Dance, like before, the bird took the initiative and issued peck a few times before finally Celsius attacked with a Pursuit. Once more the bird attacked with another Peck, using it's sharp becks on Celcius's Sheath as the ghost held it up to take the blows. With one more Pursuit, he managed to fell the bird. Cheering for himself, he called forward the next challenger.
Avikna and the old woman in the meantime watched Celcius's battle dance. "Oh, that's right... I wanted to give these to you, for your Pokemon. They're working so hard." The old woman stated, setting down 5 small candies wrapped in blue plastic. "Oh, thanks. Yea, they certainly deserve them." Grabbing them, Avikna offered one to Zelda, Mave and Astrid, however Mave and Zelda refused to take them. Astrid on the other hand, wolfed down their portion, her own and one more, leaving only one left. "I'll save this one for Celsius." Avikna stated, placing the fifth one into her bag. "It's been quiet a while since the Pokemon got to battle trainers, most everyone goes to the Purfume Palace's back yard or the route leading to the Palace." Avikna glanced back towards the woman. There was another castle around here? "I suppose my coming here was really a good thing after all." Avikna replied. "I'm sure of it." The old woman replied, sipping at her tea.

When Celsius' next target emerged from a nearby rose bush, the blade called out to his foe. He found the Crogunk's look rather... lacking. Regardless, the frog croaked a reply of acceptance. Beginning their battle, Celsius took to his strategy as of late, using Swords dance to bulk himself up. However he had not expected he Crogunk to attack with a move known as Astonish. Now only was he actually weak to this attack, but it forced the blade to flinch, leaving him open for another Astonish. With a swift strike of his blad, Celsius knocked back the Crogunk. It responded by slapping the ground, sending up mud, soiling his blade. This was the first time he started to feel weak... it seemed he'd finally met his match. Regardless, he wasn't giving up. Striking once more with his blade, he took the retaliation of another Astonish and fell to the cobble path.
Astrid, who'd been watching with Zelda and the rest of them shot forward, slithering faster then any of the other Pokemon could move. The Crogunk turned with a croak, unable to avoid Astrid's raging Dragon Rage attack. The frog fell in the end. Avikna grabbed the sword by his hilt and blade, balancing him in her hands. "Well, your reign had to end eventually." Avikna stated. Bringing him back to the table, she used a revive and a few potions, as well as the Rare Candy she left for him.
"He's a mighty fine Honedge." Called a male voice. Looking to over, both Lucie and Avikna met glances with the gardener, Percy. Avikna offered a smile as Celcius lifted himself off the table. "Never seen one like it. Where did you happen to catch that one?" He asked. Avikna's mind went blank... "Hmm?" He pondered when Avikna didn't answer. "The poor dear lost her memory, Percy." Lucie replied "Ah, I see. Sorry about that. But say, Would you care for a battle?" Leaning back Avikna looked over at Celsius. The blade swung himself eagerly forward, signaling he was willing to battle once more. "Alright... Seems Celsius is up for it." Avikna replied.

Sending forward Celsius forward, Percy sent forward his own Pokemon, a Roselia. Celsius appeared rather eager for this match-up, having fought one prior. "Percy, are you sure this is alright?" Lucie asked from the table. "Oh, don't worry none. We're both on break, and a little battle shouldn't hurt anyone." He replied. Avikna didn't want to get either of them in trouble, let alone herself. Lucie let out a sigh as she leaned back and sipped at her tea once more. "Alright, but you should be careful, don't get this darling girl in trouble with your antics, Percy." Lucie added. Percy stifled a laugh before motioned towards Avikna. "Don't worry, everything will be fine." He chuckled. With a nod, the battle began.

Percy burst out laughing as he stepped over to his fallen Gourgeist. "Well, wherever you got that Honedge, he was well trained." Celsius seemed to grow upset by those words, rather then happy for the compliment. Avikna reached forward grabbing him by his hilt before forcing the blade horizontal to administer some potions on him. "And he even allows you to grab his hilt without draining your life." Percy stated, as he stood and returned his Gourgeist to it's ball. Avikna glanced up rather confused by his words. "They drain your life?" She asked, looking down at Celsius. The blade glanced up with his solitary eye, a rather content look reflected in it. "Yes, normally. I suppose he really trusts you, or you really put him in his place." Once more Percy chuckled. "Oh, Percy, stop teasing her. She won your little battle, so go on and get back to work." Standing up the Old woman began to pack up her things. "I think I should head back to work myself." Saying their good-byes for the time being, Avikna crossed over to where she'd left all the supplies, rather glad that Lucie's timing left her with an empty barrel of puddy rather then a already mixed batch. Looking back to her Pokemon she rubbed some dirt off of Celsius' hilt. "You can go back and train if you like. You too Astrid, Zelda and I can finish the rest." Shuuing Astrid away, despite her being reluctant at first, eventually Avikna got the Dratini and Honedge to go back towards the garden.

The dragon and blade met their first matches. A Roselia appeared to challenge Astrid, knowing the outcome on taking on the Honedge, while a Duckett appeared to challenge Celsius. Taking the imitative, Celsius issued Swords Dance, while Astra launched a Diamond Storm, pelting the rose-handed Pokemon with various bits of gem-like rocks. While the Roselia recovered and issued Absorb on Astrid, the Ducklett released a Water Gun, knocking Celsius some by the powerful jet of water. he in turn decided to issue another Swords dance, while Astrid finished off the Roselia with another Diamond Storm, leaving the Duckett in a two against one bout. Shooting another jet of water it quickly realized it wasn't going to win without it's companion. Getting Shadow Sneaked, and Diamond Stormed, left the bird knocked out and Avikna's two Pokemon the winners.
