Xiu Feng was horrified at the condition of the jangmo-o when they stumbled upon it at last, and had a chance to recompose herself once Vince had successfully caught it. Once she had, she promptly turned to the ghoizard with a glare. She knew something had felt off about the strange pokemon ever since it had joined their team. ('What the hell was that?!') Xiu snarled. ('Breakfast.') The ghoizard snickered, licking his lips. ('Your anger is rather tasty too... Please do go on.') He insisted, and Xiu Feng gave the snake like creature a look of disgust. Vince watched the exchange warily, admittedly in foreign territory here with the ghoizard. It was certainly reptilian, but it certainly didn't behave like most of the dragons he knew and worked with. This one had a malevolent nature, one he wasn't quite sure how to deal with. "You there." He hadn't really given it a name yet, but the ghoizard could feel Vince's attention on it, and so turned it's head to face Vince. "Don't do that again. What you did to this jangmo-o was cruel." He insisted firmly. He wouldn't just sit back and let that sort of thing happen. Sure he wanted to battle these pokemon and capture them, but he wouldn't draw the battle out as long as possible like that. Unfortunately, he hadn't chosen his words carefully, as the book was still active, and another jangmo-o appeared, darting off into the darkness as the ghoizard ignored Vince and gave chase to the dragon. "s**t..." Vince growled, trying to go after his unruly pokemon. It was harder when he could slip through walls and Vince and Xiu Feng couldn't. To top things off, he got a text from Olivia, alerting him that she was headed towards the cave. He had planned to wait and meet her here, but he would have to alert her to the unfortunate change of plans.

After notifying Olivia vaguely of his situation, Vince and Xiu Feng continued in pursuit of the ghoizard gone into an apparent feeding frenzy. "Arceus... I hope we find that jangmo-o before it does..." Vince muttered, unconsciously summoning another one of the small dragons for the ghoizard to find and feed on, however in doing so also lured the ghost closer to them, but not quite in time, as Vince found two more drained dragons in the little burrow that the ghoizard had dragged them to. Disgusted with the pokemon's behavior, he quickly returned it to it's pokeball. He would deal with the ghoizard later, for now, he picked up the two wild jangmo-o and quickly moved towards the cave's exit. He had seen it along the way to this burrow that the ghoizard had discovered, which meant Cyllage couldn't be too much farther ahead. "Hang on you three...." Vince murmured apologetically as he made his way outside. If he hurried to the pokemon center, they would hopefully make a full recovery.

Turning up the brightness of her XTransceiver she read Vince's text over, brow furrowing gently, before she sighed gently. "Yeah, alright. We can leave now," she agreed, though when faced with Elgyem's expectant gaze she found herself confused. Olivia looked to the left, huffing when she noticed yet another unconscious pokemon--Pichu sure was moving fast-- but without a word she tossed out a pokeball. "I need to buy a few more pokeballs while we're in tone," she murmured after, squinting down at her bag to notice how low on pokeballs she was. "Let us continue on," Elgyem directed after she'd done her portion, herding both Olivia and her pokemon quickly out of the cave and into the next area.

Vince was a bit hesitant as Olivia sent him on ahead, but he agreed nonetheless. He supposed she still had some business to take care of, and he needed to recompose himself from the embarrassing situation. As he entered the cave, he opened his dragon book, looking through the pages for any other dragon that he wanted to summon. Near the jangmo-o, there seemed to be another dragon Vince wasn't as familiar with, this one being a normal dragon type combination that could be useful. "Drampa.... Hm... Is that a play on words?" Vince mused, summoning the old looking dragon and readied his katana. "Alright Xiu Feng, get ready to....." Vince paused as the elderly dragon slowly reared his head to look at Vince yawn. "Fight..." Vince relaxed. This puffball was harmless. On second thought, maybe it wouldn't fit in with his team. "Alright, never mind Zǔfù, sorry to disturb your nap." Vince chuckled, preparing to move on. ('What did you call me whippersnapper?!') The drampa growled, and suddenly it's old, frail looking body reared up and spread out menacingly, catching Vince by surprise. Thankfully Xiu Feng was ready and quickly knocked it out with a disarming voice, Vince quickly capturing it. The drampa had changed his mind.

Though she was lagging behind it didn't take long before Olivia stepped back into Connecting Cave, Elgyem once more taking the lead with Blue, Licorice and Pichu following behind her; all three pokemon were interested in getting at least some battling in, and Olivia certainly had no qualms against it, now that none of them were in danger of disobedience. Thankfully for the pinkette it didn't take her long to locate Vince and in a bit of playfulness she tapped his right shoulder before appearing on his left. "Miss me?" she teased. Olivia gave a quick glance out to Elgyem in her others, yet another capture garnering her attention, before she looked back to Vince. "You were gonna tell me about what happened, right?" Jumping right to it she gave him a gentle reminder, eager to know just what had kept him.

While Olivia conversed with Vince Elgyem was busy tending to the incense, and the pokemon it attracted. She peered into the pot curiously noting how low the fire had gotten, and from that concluded that it wouldn't be long before it went out completely-- and then it'd be useless to her. This had been a good run she concluded, just as Pichu took out a Delibird, she'd managed to capture every single last pokemon on her list, the Delibird making the last one, and it'd all been done in a matter of hours. This was a fine example of progress.

With her task completed Elgyem looked down at the incense with disinterest before she handed it over to Licorice to hold, she no longer cared about its wellbeing now that it'd served her purpose. Rather than leave immediately Elgyem hung back, slowing down so that she could hover near Olivia and observe her conversation with her human companion. She'd stay with them, at least until they left the cave, and learn what she could through watching them.

Although Elgyem had no more use for the incense, Olivia's pokemon certainly did and Licorice, understanding the small objects importance, did her best to hold onto it as securely as possible. Pichu, in the meantime, took advantage of the small gathering of Delibird that had arrived in the cave, smacking those foolish to come close enough with her tail, and then chasing down the rest.

Despite her earlier battles, incense summoned and her round against a gym leader, Pichu showed no signs of slowing down. She was a little rodent on a mission, and that mission was to get as strong as possible! Of course, she was aware that other pokemon, like Blue and Licorice, might want a turn at battling the pokemon that came their way, and she was more than willing to give them that chance. She just wanted to get a little stronger beforehand.

Pichu chirped after another bird went down, turning to look over her shoulder to check that; one, her tail wasn't bruised from so much use and two, she hadn't accidentally gone ahead of the group in her excitement. When she discovered that it was a 'negative' to both inquires Pichu stopped just long enough to locate her next victim opponent, ears twitching and wiggling in every direction before she heard the familiar sound of flippers on a cave floor.

With one last squawk the Delibird turned tail, its white bag thumping against the cave floor in its retreat; at the rate Pichu was taking out these Delibird, she'd be on Santa's Naughty List permanently. She didn't seem bothered, or even aware, of this in the least, however, and perked up when she heard another Delibird approaching. She waited, biding the few seconds that were between her and the pokemon, and when the moment was right struck out with her tail.
