Ah, so that was why he was out. Bastien supposed that made since; if there had been any other reason, he was positive his trainer would’ve used Alphonse to assist him. It was fairly evident that the mega Audino was really their trainer’s ‘second-in-command’ or something along those lines, responsible for keeping the pokemon in line. Still though, this seemed an odd way to go about training his psychic abilities.

And when he considered ‘fair’ he thought in regard to his trainer. As far as he knew, Ashley had no psychic abilities and despite the few gadgets that he had on his person, there was no extra advantages that he could use to outdo the pokemon. Oh sure, Bastien wasn’t exactly the strongest psychic (he wasn’t quite there yet) but still, that was an advantage. The slightest.

All these thoughts and more occupied Bastien’s time and approximately seven minutes later, Ashley was returning having found the egg that he should’ve located. It was rather shocking really and the Braixen’s face showed it as the man approached.
"I am disappointed Bastien. Did you expect to find it by simply sitting here?" Ashley remarked, shaking his head and tucking the egg away once more. He picked up his case and gave the pokemon a disapproving look before gesturing him to follow and moving back over to Lizzie. The woman was once more, surprised at how quickly the man had recovered the egg; shocked even more so by the fact that it was him and not the pokemon who had located it. The man didn’t really give much explanation, climbing up and ushering that they move along to the next area without hesitation. There’d be time for questions… maybe in the future or something.

Almost immediately upon entering the aquarium, he was met with a pair of employees talking to each other, one particularly miffed as he held a pile of the eggs on the desk. He was angry enough to chuck one at Zero the moment he noticed him, which he was fortunately able to snatch right out of the air before it hit him… Thanks to Nova adjusting it with her abilities. The man only explained that the people who sprinkled the eggs around weren’t supposed to put them inside the building, despite the fact that they did, before the young trainer turned and left to get on his way.

That certainly was a surprising battle. Thankfully Eevee was able to take care of that bird Pokemon. Due to Eevee’s quick work on the Wild Pokemon, Misa was able to acquire another friend and heal up her Normal-type. At least her Eevee was able to acquire some experience from this battle. There would be many battles to come for her new team. Plus, once this whole egg hunting was done they would head straight back to Pallet Town to clean that mess. “Drif?” The girl looked back to see yet another unknown Pokemon challenge her. Seems like she was a popular one here.

While the Wingull’s flew off after their defeat, Misa tended to Venusaur’s and Mankey’s wounds. Once they were tended and placed back into their ball an egg was found to be right in front of her. It was actually where the horde of Wingull was. Whatever chance may have come upon her, the girl was grateful this egg hunt became a little less painful. So, with the egg in the PC she was already off to the next area.
