Ambrette Town is a dusty coastal town that sits upon the cliffs looking over the bridge. The Ambrette Aquarium, one of the notable attractions in town, is a two-story public aquarium with no entry fee, and also serves as the connecting point between Ambrette Town, Route 8 and the coastline. Several patrons walk around on the two levels, enjoying the various aquariums on the upper entrance floor. On the lower level sits a large Magikarp statue, with the exit leading out to Route 8.
Ambrette is also the location of Kalos's Fossil Laboratory, which specializes in reviving fossilized Pokémon remains back into living Pokémon. Various fossils, anthropological and astronomical items and materials line the shelves near the back walls and entrance. Among the items stored here are several meteorites.
There is a large hotel located in town called Hotel Ambrette, which many tourists will come to stay and enjoy the beach and aquarium for longer periods of time. Though the price is a bit steep, the hotel is much more luxurious and accommodating than a pokemon center.

Contest Leader Terra Contest: Cool Location: Ambrette Town Personality: Terra has a look about her that says 'Don't mess with this chick'. Maybe it's just a case of RBF, though, because if you talk to her, she really doesn't seem interested in having beef with anyone. It's a wonder she was recruited into this whole shindig, with how little effort she wants to put into things. There's a solid possibility the only reason she agreed, was because she was told she'd be put up in Ambrette, and could spend all her time just sitting on the beach, catching ocean spray, sleeping, and doing whatever until a challenger arrived for her ribbon. Following behind the researchers, it didn't take much time before they were within Ambrette town. Avikna found herself rather enthralled by the look of the small town. Built on a cliff side it had a perfect view of the ocean. Surprisingly the town didn't look like it was in any sort of danger, being so close to the ocean, despite it's precarious conditions. She didn't have much more time to look over the town before finally they entered into a building which supplied many ancient artifacts as well as fossils. "Just follow us to the back room were we can properly look over your Aerodactyl." The man from earlier spoke, leading her behind a counter.
As soon as they entered, a young girl with cut blonde hair came rushing in after an excited dinosaur-like Pokemon. It rammed head first into Avikna's leg, toppling backwards. So excited about playing with the female, it hadn' been looking where it was going. Avikna jumped to the side holding up her leg in pain. Mave quickly stood up on two legs to grab Avikna, keeping the red-head from falling over. "Ohh! I'm so, so, so sorry!" The girl stated as she knelled down and picked up the Dino. "He's always getting out of the reserve and running around running into things...." She bowed with the Dino in arms, struggling to keep him held up. She looked barely able to carry a basket of fruit let along a large Pokemon like that. It cheered regardless, waving it's little arms forward. "I-its alright..." Avikna stated, standing up on her own two feet. "No, it's not." Stated a new male. "Return him to the reserve this instant, mel." The girl had jumped from the sound of the man's voice, quickly lowering her head and running off to where she needed to go. The man, who appeared fairly old gave Avikna a stern look, only to trail along the Pokemon who followeed her. "You have a large amount of Dragon-type Pokemon with you." The man stated. "Are you from The Village of the Dragons?" He asked. Avikna arched a brow, then looked over at Mave. The wolf shook her head. "No... I don't think I am." It was the man's turn to arch a brow. Folding his arms he stepped closer to Avikna. "That was a strange response. How can you not know where you come from?" Avikna bit her lip, growing rather angry about having to use the same excuse over and over ahead. "I lost my memory, so I don't know much of who I am, let along where I'm from." She replied, her anger showing some in her tone. The man nodded, as if been revealed the location of something great. "Ahh, I see. Can you at least tell me why you're here?" He asked. "Sir." Replied the man from earlier. "She's here with us. The Aerodactyl that arrived just a few days ago, the one that crashed into the mountain? Well, she's it's trainer apparently." Avikna held up Aer's ball to prove it. "Is that so? Then, follow me." He motioned gently with a hand before turning and heading in a different direction than the other men had been going. Avikna showed some reluctance, as expected, but with a smile from the man and a motion to follow their 'sir', she did... slowly.

Leading Avikna through some skinny hallways and into a fairly good sized reserve, built with real grass and trees and other sorts of foliage that seemed like they were stepping back in time to witness. The man lead her to a large stone table, and motioned towards it as he passed it by. "Call out your Aerodactyl on the stone table. I shall look him over." Avikna was a bit reluctant, as she was before. Glancing down at Aer's ball she looked back up. "His name is Aer." Avikna stated. "Oh? Is that so? So, how does one who lost her memory know the nickname they have given their Pokemon, unless you came up with that on the spot." The man turned around, as he was pulling a glove onto his hand. "Mave told me..." Avikna stated, motioning towards Mave. The man's eyes rested down on the red wolf/dragon-like creature standing on all fours at Avikna's side. Mave seemingly grinned as the man began to look her over. "What sort of Pokemon is your.. Mave?" He asked. Avikna arched a brow at him, then shrugged. "Your guess is as good as mine." She stated. Mave rolled her eyes. 'Just tell him my species name.' Mave spoke, sitting down. "She's a Maveretta, or.. something like that." Holding up his head a bit the man walked around the stone table, sliding a hand along it's chiseled surface. "Maveretta, huh? I've heard of the species, but never have I seen one in the flesh. They are quite dragon-like in some way, but those wings make you more like a bird, but your body is that of a canine. A strange chimera of some sort? A species concocted during ancient times? Very intriguing." Glancing over to Avikna he gave her a grin. "Well, whatever the case I'm here to look over your.. Aer, so please, release him." Stepping away, Avikna followed, stopping just a few feet from the table while she released Aer. Still passed out the man found it easy to look him over. When all was said and done, there was a few fractures in various places of the Aerodactyl's wing, while a bone in his leg was broken, and with the cuts and burns over his leather-like skin, Aer was due for a long rest.

Despite the order to relax, once Aer woke up, Mave had to speak with him. Being those two were involved in the event that separated everyone, she had to know more about how things went for Aer, how he'd ended up this far west and if he knew where anyone else was. In the meantime, the scientist that tented to Aer, pulled Avikna away and began to... talk with her as well. "Given your... condition. I suppose it would be useless to ask how that Aerodactyl got in such a condition." He began. With his arms folded and a stern look across his face he looked down at Avikna for a moment, then back up towards the direction they were walking. "Whatever put him in that condition could not have resulted from him slamming into a rock wall, something more severe happened to put that Pokemon in such a condition that he could barely fly. Aerodactyl are resilient to darn near everything, even severe weather." Avikna felt horrible to say the least. she knew nothing.. she couldn't even remember Aer a little bit.... The most that kept flashing through her mind was bit of memory she'd thus far recovered and the constant image of a red 'R'. Having to response for the man, he continued to speak in her place. "I believe... whatever happened to him and your other Pokemon, it's likely to happen again, if you ever rejoin with the rest of your team, and... I would hate to have such a fine specimen like that Aerodactyl put in danger a second time." Avikna looked up with a glare. "I know what you're thinking... I won't force you to leave him here. He is your Pokemon, and however he got into that condition, I suspect it was because he was protecting you. I doubt we'd keep him here anyway. Like I said, Aerodactyl are resilient. he'd find a way out of here and track you down even if it cost him his life." Crossing his arms, the man looked back down at Avikna, stopped then lowered a hand down to either one of her shoulders. "Which is why I think maybe I'll send you off with one of our Pokemon. Tyrunt, like the one you saw earlier, evolve into what was known as the 'King of Dragons.'" He offered a grin. "While they're not actually kings, they are dragons, and strong ones at that. During it's life-time, nothing could stop it, thus they acted like kings, or so we believe. Whatever the case, I believe one of those Pokemon could protect you greatly." Motioning towards a bit further down the way they'd been walking, a Tryrunt noticed attention was on it. Lowering it's head down, the tiny Dino rushed forward, meeting forehead to foot as the man blocked the little one from advancing any further. "We just revived this one this morning, and already he's taken control of the nursery." Glancing over towards Avikna the man bent forward and picked him up. "We think he might not be cut out for a relaxed existence here in the reserves, so a trainer should do him good." Even if Avikna wanted to protest, she found herself holding onto the Tyrunt, adjusting him so she could carry the large Dino a bit easier. "I guess, I have no choice." She stated as they started back towards Aer and Mave. "Good, you take good care of him. Now tell me, what nickname do you want to give him?" Avikna hesitated, thinking over ideas. What would her old self of named it? Looking up she found Aer, Zelda, Mave. Celsius on her back... All the nicknames were so... random. So, whatever she came up with really didn't matter. "Bahamut." She finally stated. With a nod she glanced over towards the man who seemed to be smiling himself. "Sounds good to me." In her arms the Tyrunt even agreed with it, licking Avikna's arm before making chirping noises. "Sounds good to him too."

Everything squared away, nearly a few hours later. Avikna and her team started for Cyllage city. The man, known as Dr. Unston, had also given Avikna a Draco Plate, discovered about the same time they'd found Bahamut's fossil. Giving the plate to Bahamut she said good-bye to everyone, and took to looking around the Museum for a bit before finally heading along the beach back north to the next City and finally to her next Kalos badge.

Rose was pretty excited about leading her friends into her hometown. "Ohhhh~ This is so exciting! It feels like I haven't been home in ages! There's so much to do here, too! There's the glittering cave, the rhyhorn that can take us to the cave, the fossil lab, the aquarium... We're going to do so much with this party~" Rose nearly squealed happily as they entered the town. She had grabbed on to Marx's arm in excitement, pulling him along even though he definitely didn't need it. Fynx looked around - the last time she was here, she was just a braixen. Vesper was still quiet, his blush from muttering compliments to Vixen here and there starting to fade. Opal's face was sticking out of her trainer's jacket, bright green eyes observing the surroundings.
Rose led them up to the pokecenter, then stopped. "Alright, my house isn't too far now. Does anyone have anything they need to do here first?" she asked, though really she was kind of stalling. Being this much closer to home made her feel anxious about how her parents will be when she finally gets there. Will they punish her? Keep her home forever? Rose was liking the freedom she's had, and she'd hate to lose it all.

Isis sent the text and sighed somewhat, really quite unsure what to make of Leon, even now... Rose certainly seemed to have brightened up after Isis' ghosts were returned. The ball had really scarred her, hadn't it? No matter how convincing their arguments were, nothing seemed to calm the girl down until the ghosts had been returned to their pokeballs. Not even Marx could calm her down... Isis did feel rather guilty, but then again, Rose wasn't the only one scarred. Isis couldn't help but grimace as she thought of Ebony's bloody body on the floor of that horrid ballroom. "I'm sorry...." Isis whispered aloud without really realizing it.
She walked along the sand between the two Kalos towns with Vixen at her side, casting somewhat concerned glances Isis' way. "Isis..." The blond blinked in surprise at Atona's voice entering her head, and looked around, expecting him to have come out of his pokeball, but he was nowhere to be seen. "These wounds are still fresh, they will take time to heal. In you, and all of your friends." Isis dropped her gaze to the sand. "How long...?" Isis asked quietly, feeling the tears coming already. "That depends on how you use your time. There is a time to grieve, and a time to enjoy the life that Ebony has given you. I think it is obvious which time this is." She could almost hear the smile in his voice, and it was just as infectious as if he were out of his pokeball, so Isis soon found herself smiling again. "Alright, no need to get smart with me mister." Isis chuckled, directing her attention to Rose again as the girl happily babbled on about how much fun they were going to have. "Wow Rose! How did you ever leave this place! It sounds like a boatload of fun~ I can't wait!" She said with a smile. Rose had mentioned her house was sandalwood colored, and as she mentioned that they were getting close, isis could actually spot it in the distance. Though Rose first asked if there was anything anyone needed to do first now that they were here. "Er... Nope, I'm just here to hang out~" Isis said happily. It seemed like Rose was nervous again, but she did also say she hadn't been home in quite some time. Rose was young, or at least seemed younger, so it was possible she was afraid of her parent's reaction of her disappearing for a while and then coming back to her house with a bunch of friends just to ask for a party. Isis gently placed her hand on Rose's shoulder and gave her a reassuring smile. Everything would turn out fine, Isis just knew it. ✿ ❀

The brunette's eyes positively lit up as Rose started listing things they could do, his brain completely whizzing by the mention of a fossil lab despite his possession of one-- at least, for now, he completely blanked on it. "Does that mean we'll get to explore the whole town!?" he asked excitedly, obviously enthused at the idea. He'd figured the party would just be at the beach or something, that they'd get the supplies and stuff and bunker down, but if they could run all over and explore everything--! That would be AWESOME!
He didn't seem to mind at all as his friend grabbed ahold of him and pulled him along, easily keeping up with her, almost jogging to try and get their sooner. He stopped with her, pulling away to step around, looking at the town and then shifting his weight, leaning to get a better look at something, and then tilting his head to glance over. He had completely missed Isis' side of her conversation with her pokemon, only glancing over as she gave her reply. He adjusted his weight properly, turning to respond as well, but blinking when Cheria gave an odd response.
He straightened up, quirking his head to the side curiously at her comment, absently lifting his hands to lace his fingers behind his head. He coudl tell she was embarrassed by the remark, but gave a grin. "Hehe, I wouldn't mind getting a book like that, either," he remarked. Probably... not even aware of how that sounded, or what he was even saying. He watched with a bit of concern as Cheria hurried off, frowning questioningly, and dropping his hands to his side, wondering if he should make sure she was okay. She looked to be busy, though, so....
He turned back to the others, shrugging, shoving his hands into his pockets. "I'm good to go! I just wanna get the party started, and check out the town~!" he replied, beaming again.

[Character Enter.] Zero listened absently as Rose listed off the things they could do here, the others clearly more excited for all of it than him. 'Course, that didn't mean he wasn't up for any of it. The cave sounded like it'd be kinda cool. Then they all stopped in front of the Pokemon Center, the redhead asking if there was anyone had something to do before they went to her place. Zero glanced back at Nova for a second, so he didn't have time to turn back when Cheria bumped into him. He readjusted himself, sighing before speaking up. "I'm not sure if my pokemon are hungry or anything, but other than that I'm fine."
Nova then spoke up, having to catch herself before she spoke before Zero finished what he was saying. Being able to hear people's thoughts before their speech did prove a little tedious at times. "I'm just a bit peckish, nothing to worry about it. We can move on if you all want."

Shenaiya walked behind the group. Looking around with her arms linked behind her. She did a slow 360 as she took in the sights. It had been awhile since she had actually visited Ambrette. She looked back towards her friends as Rose happily chatted away what they could do. Shenaiya tilted her head as Rose listed the fossil lab. Her eyes widened as she realized she had one.Not just one. Two. She felt her bag and found the two and was suddenly really wanting to go do that. Like. Now. But didn't freak out too much. She continued to watch as Cheria suddenly left. She bumped into Zero and then excused herself. Shenaiya raised a brow and Cynthia yawned. With a sigh, She decided to ignore it for now. She would find out what was wrong with her soon. Of course, she wasn't exactly concerned with maybe looking like a snob about it. But Shenaiya wasn't sure what was going on. And that bugged her. "Xena... What do you think?" She asked the Braixen. Who responded with a shrug. Shenaiya rolled her eyes and have a half annoyed smile to the pokemon before turning to her friends. "I would like to go by the Fossil Lab really quick. I would like to ask some questions. I can meet you back that way if you want. She asked curiously.
But the closer to the lab they got, the heavier her bag got. She wanted too! But at what cost? Some time really. Oh she hoped it was okay, New pokemon!

"Oh, actually, i was pretty excited to leave my home town. But it's nice to be back now." Rose replied to Isis' comment. She beamed at Marx, as he seemed pretty excited about the town. "Yup! We can go to ALL THE PLACES!~" she answered him. Of course, she didn't plan for the party to just stay on the beach. There was no reason to, when there were other fun activities they could be doing as well so nearby! She wasn't sure that her parents would approve of some of the ideas she had, such as playing around with the Rhyhorn. But they didn't need to know everything, right? At least if she promises to stay in the area, she was sure they would be able to do whatever.
When cheria gave a response to her question, the red head cocked her head to the side slightly, clearly confused by what was said. "Huh? what-" she mumbled, but was cut off as marx added to her confusion, agreeing with cheria before cheria ran off to answer a message suddenly. It wasn't something she said, right? Rose ended up returning her attention to the rest of the group shortly after, brushing off her confusion. Isis seemed to be here just to hang out, and Zero was pretty much in the same boat. After marx and shenaiya replied, it really seemed like they were all just waiting on the party, so she was not able to delay talking to her parents any longer. She looked over to Isis a bit gratefully when the other female placed her hand on her shoulder gently and gave her a reassuring smile. "Mm.... Thanks Isis. I'll be right back guys. I'm gonna go talk to my parents real quick." Rose told the group, then left towards her house, jogging a bit. Fynx followed, while Vesper stayed behind with the group. Rose returned Opal, not wanting to risk her being squished.

Rose felt nervous as she approached the front door to her house, receiving reassuring pats on the back from her starter before finally opening the door. "Mom, dad I'm- EEEP!" Rose started as she walked in, getting interrupted as her father rushed over and scooped her up in a hug. "There's my little rosebud! What took you so long?" he said, squeezing his daughter. Fynx stepped in, politely closing the door. Rose was happy to see her dad. It felt great to be in his arms again! "Sorry, Rose's dad. We kind of... got caught up with some things. Nothing to worry about, though." Fynx chimed in calmly. "O-oh! Yeah, I'm sorry it took me so long, dad. I met up with some friends on the way and-" Rose began to explain, but was cut off again as she was whisked away to the kitchen. "I suppose that's understandable, Fynx - Hey, honey! She's back!" Anthony responded to Fynx, then called out to his wife in the kitchen. "Ohhhhh~ Rose! You worried us all half to death and back! What happened? And - my, is that Fynx? She's grown so well! I'm so glad you are back, sweetie!" Lillianne exclaimed in her soft voice, coming over to hug and kiss her daughter. "Er... heheheh... um... " Rose tried to find the words to explain while her parents smothered her with attention. Luckily, Fynx was able to speak up without problem. "Well... how should i put it...? Rose and I were taken with a bunch of other trainers to some party at a mansion that just happened to be a trap, but we escaped and... well, the point is that we are fine now, and won't ever be in such a situation again if I can help it." Fynx said, but unfortunately, that didn't really help the situation. "I knew it would be too dangerous for her out there." Anthony said, holding Rose close to him. "I-I guess... but she's an adult now..." Lilly responded, and the two started back and forth about how they should best keep their daughter safe.
Rose felt a bit distressed at the moment. It sounded a lot more like her parents were going to keep her under lock and key again, and she really didn't want that. Even though she kept trying to speak up, her voice shrank beneath theirs timidly. Until finally, she just had enough. "MOM DAD LISTEN TO ME FOR A SEC-ond? please?" Rose ended up shouting, then used an indoor voice as soon as she realized she had their attention. "Look... I'd rather not... talk about what happened, but I've got some tough pokemon to protect me now, and Fynx won't ever let anything bad happen to me! I also have friends now, too! I... I really don't want to go back to being stuck in this town like before.... Look, I even got 4 badges!" Rose told them, scrambling to show off her badges. "Oh... honey... we can't just keep her after she's seen what's out there..." Lilly said softly to her husband. Anthony looked at the badges and at Fynx, not really seeming convinced. His wife touched his arm, getting him to look her in the eyes. His hard expression softened a bit. "... I suppose you're right... But... We've got some things to make up for, kiddo. Plan on sticking around for a while." he finally gave in.
Rose nearly squealed in happy victory. "Thank you thank you thank you! Yeah, I'll be around for a while! Oh! Also, on that note... um... I've got some friends that I kinda made plans with... Can I have a beach party here with my friends? Please? Pretty please daddy?" Rose hugged her parents, looking pleadingly up at them. Surprisingly, it was her mother that spoke up first. "Sure, sweetie. We'd love to meet your friends. How many people should we expect?" she asked. Rose was so happy to hear her mother seeming to be fine with the party idea that she looked to fynx, not remembering how many people right off the top of her head. "I think around six, ma'am." Fynx responded. "Uh... Rosebud. We'll need a few days to prepare for such a thing. Is that okay?" Anthony spoke up, a hand on top of her head. Rose was a bit disappointed that they would all have to wait for the party, but could kind of understand the implications having so many people over on such short notice. After all, they always called a week a head of time before going to Laverre to her Aunt and Uncle's house.
"Alright. I'll be back. I just want to let my friends know. If something comes up, I'll call, okay?" Rose told her parents, moving to get going towards the door. Anthony hesitated to let her go, but finally did with a sigh. "Alright sweetie. Just don't go disappearing again, you got it?" "I got it! Thanks daddy! Love you mom, dad! See ya later!" Rose called as she left the house with Fynx by her side.

Uh... unfortunately, my parents said they'd need a few days or so to prepare." Rose announced, smiling apologetically by the end. "But! ✿ ❀ Aside from the odd requests from Cheria and Marx, it seemed like everyone was fine, though Shenaiya wanted to stop by the fossil lab. "I'm sure we'll all want to stop by there during out tour, but if you really wanna go now, I don't think it could hurt." Isis suggested to the eager girl with a shrug and a smile. Rose left to go talk to her parents though, so perhaps Shenaiya would be willing to wait at least until Rose came back to give the news.
It took a while, but eventually the red haired girl came back out with Fynx, explaining that she wasn't grounded from staying away for however long the ball kept them out of contact with the rest of the world, and to that effect, they would be having a party! "Woohoo!" Isis let out a small cheer and chuckled. However, the was a small downside, because due to their large size and the short notice, they needed some time to properly prepare. Rose suggested in the meantime they could still have fun around town, but Isis' eyes flashed with another idea. "Er... Well as much as I would love to explore town, we do have another option on the table, if I may propose it...." Isis explained with a smile. "I hear there's a festival at the sevii islands called a Tanabata that's supposed to be really fun. It's kind of far away though... Uh..." Well shoot she hadn't thought about that. "Does anyone, aside from Zero and I, have pokemon that can Fly...?" She asked tentatively, not quite familiar with how far along they each were in their gym challenges.
She had hoped to tell Leon that she might be coming after all. It was a nice thought, taking everyone to the Tanabata and having Leon with them, maybe even Huey was heading that way too? Having all of her friends in one place was an exciting prospect, but if no one else had Fly, staying here and just waiting out was probably a better option considering the fact that it would take quite a hike to get back to Lumiose City. It was too back Nocturne and Ashen couldn't carry much more that one person for long periods of time. Suddenly, Isis wrist buzzed again, and Isis blinked in surprise. "S-sorry, hold that thought..." Isis muttered as she opened the message from Leon.

Isis had to chuckle a bit as she read through the text, though she wondered whether or not she could tell him she would be coming soon. She debated it for a while, and then ultimately, and reluctantly, decided against it. She couldn't just ditch her friends now, and besides, she didn't even know if they would all agree that they should all go to the Tanabata.

Marx felt a bit bad that Zero's pokemon might be hungry, but before he could wallow over it for very long, he was distracted by Shenaiya's comment, which, finally, struck the realization into his head. "Oh! I'll come with you! I want to see if they can do anything with my fossil!" he suddenly decided, darting after Shenaiya, reaching to take her hand and race towards it. He didn't want to drag her along, though, so if she didn't feel like going a tthe same break-neck speed, he would just run up ahead.
Once there, he was elated to find they could actually revive his fossil, but had to stop and sit down on the floor to virtually empty his bag and find it. It took quite a bit of digging, but a few minutes later, he had it, and handed it to the scientist to restore, while he collected his things back into his bag. He was curious whether Shenaiya had come in order to get her fossil revived, as well, but before he could ask, he was handed a pokeball, with his newly regenerated Amaura-- who almost immediately let itself out of its pokeball, and ran off. "Wha-- ah! Hey!" Marx yelped, scrambling to chase after it, and quickly darting out the door.
Meanwhile, back with the others, there was a loud cry from above, before Flygon swooped down, landing beside Isis and nuzzling her affectionately, giving a coo of greeting as she did. She hadn't been formerly introduced to the girl, really, but she remembered her, from the ball. It didn't quite occur to her that she and Zero might not know who she was, let alone who she belonged to, though, given she was just a little trapinch when she was... well... zombified. She lifted her head up, trilling questioningly, as if to ask where her trainer was, having gotten a bit lost whiel he was in the tunnel. She chirruped almost immediately, though, spotting him chasing after some pokemon, and tilted her head in confusion, before crying out to get his attention, joyous as ever, and taking off.
Marx was just tackling Amaura as she did, and managed to return the pokmon, moving to push himself up-- only to get squashed as Flygon landed on top of him. He groaned, twitching slightly, and attempting to push himself up. She finally moved off him, and he managed to get to his feet, a bit dazed, before dragging himself over to the others. "I-- Oh! Rose!" He almost immediately perked up, looking at her with interest as she arrived to fill them in. "Geruu~!" Flygon greeted, landing behind Marx, but immediately slipping over as she recognized Rose to nuzzle and sniff the girl excitedly.
The brunette laced his fingers behind his head as he listened, though, pushing his mouth to the side uncertainly, not quite sure what to make of that. They needed... days? He figured they were just going to buy food and hang out on the beach and explore and stuff! What did they need to rpepare for? Oh well! He immediately perked up when Isis mentioned a festival, his eyes positively lighting up. "A festival? We have to go!" he agreed, grinning. He blinked at the mention of flying, though. "Well... Flygon can fly," he remarked thoughtfully, "And, uh... Zubat... And I think a few others...." ... Obviously, he was taking the question a bit too literally.

While the others all seemed to run off, either to the fossil lab or Rose to her home, Zero simply waited with Isis. In their absence, he moved his hand into his bad, digging around momentarily until he found the bright red book inside. Pulling it out, he leafed through the first few pages till he was where he left off, slowly memorizing the Italian words and phrases. He'd learned some of the basic stuff from his friends some time ago, so it was a little easier to piece together how to actually use the phrases. As he read, he wasn't quite paying full attention, and simply glanced over to the Flygon that'd landed behind Isis.
Still, he'd rather not practice the pronunciations while around everyone, so he stayed mostly silent until Rose returned. Putting the guide away, he listened as the redhead gave the news on the little party. Well, perhaps not so little if her parents are apparently gonna need days to get ready. However, Isis quickly offered an alternative from just hanging around town until then. His expression lightened a bit as she brought up a summer festival on the Sevii Isles. "That sounds like fun," he chimed in, "Is it anything like the Chingaling Fair last year?"
Unfortunately though, Zero had to do his best to keep his expression from darkening again when Isis' wrist continued to buzz. He kept the excuse for a smile he'd had on his face, though his eye did twitch slightly, before letting out a sigh. Then he turned his attention away from Isis and over to Marx, who mentioned his Flygon from a moment ago could fly. Followed by his Zubat. "...Marx, I don't think that's what she meant."

Shenaiya was walking quickly to the labs anyway, but Marx joined her rather quickly and took her hand. A slight pink flittered across her face before she was suddenly running to keep up with his speed. Seems she wasn't the only one excited to get to the fossil lab. With a chuckle, Shenaiya raced along until they reached the lab. She let Marx go first as she looked around the lab. When Marx was given a pokeball, she was slightly intrigued when he let out an Amaura. That was soooo cool!!!! The brunette was super excited to get her own fossil pokemon. What would she get. As Marx raced after an escaping Amaura, Shenaiya walked up to the counter. "Um, Hi. I actually have two fossils I would like you to revive. If that is alright of course." She asked as she pulled the two fossils from her bag. Marx had to dump all of his stuff onto the floor before But Shenaiya had taken very good care of the fossils. Because they were different. Slightly heavy. Finding the fossils easily, she handed them over and as she waited, she watched Marx run off after the Amaura. She couldn't contain her chuckling. She decided to find out what the other new pokemon she had gotten was and let out a very dark Joltik. She kinda thought he was cute as tiny black pokemon go. And decided to switch him and Minnie as soon as she could. Them the man finally returned with two balls. She gratefully thanked him and ran out the door after Marx.
But decided to stop and switch out Minnie and the Joltik. She stopped inside the pokemon center for a moment to do so before running back out. As she arrived at the scene where her friends were talking, she couldn't help herself as she ran over and jumped on Marx's back. She clung to him and hoped he didn't fall again, since Flygon had also landed on him moments before. She caught the last bit about the party waiting a few days, and about a festival. She caught the eye twitch when Isis looked at her wrist again. Only because she had been watching Zero talk. Hmmmm.... The girl looked between her friends and chuckled. "The festival sounds like fun! We should go to that while we wait." She said happily.
