Elizabeth nodded back as Ashley thanked her and said that he had appreciated it. She smiled, watching him look at her pokedex and wondering if he would notice the entry for Manaphy. So she waited before he soon handed the pokedex back to her, thanking her for allowing him to take a look at them. "Yeah, they certainly are very interesting. Thank you very much." she then said back to Ashley, nodding and smiling happily when he mentioned that she had quite the collection and should be proud of it. So he must have seen the Manaphy, but was relieved that he didn't ask or say anything about it. Soon the nurse appeared and had let them know that they found a doctor that could look over Ashley. "Alright" Elizabeth had said to him, understanding as she watched him follow after the nurse. She sighed, glad to have seen Ashley again and knowing now that she can trust him at least. Ashley gave Elizabeth another nod before following the nurse towards the back room of the pokemon center to be treated. It took a bit of time, though after getting patched up he did delay of his own accord, checking his messages and such. Not that he wasn’t interested in getting back to Elizabeth; it was rude to keep a lady waiting and she had been nothing but polite to him, but he just wanted to make sure he hadn’t missed anything work related. There didn’t seem to be any updates though, much to his chagrin and with a sigh, he adjusted himself and headed back out to greet her.

Soon Elizabeth heard as Ashley thanked her for taking the time to wait, asking if she wants to start heading out again, feeling bad for taking up so much of her time. "You're welcome. It's fine, really. I just wanted to make sure that you were going to be alright after everything that happened. That's what friends do after all. So how is your nose? Is it broken or just somewhat injured?" she had said back to Ashley with a smile, remarking about the bandage on his nose. Elizabeth was very glad to hear as Ashley had appreciated it and even smiled a little. If only she could keep having fun times like this, hanging out and making new friends without the worry and anxiety over something that can happen at any time while having to be distrusting of every stranger you meet as a result. Then she listened as he told her that his nose isn't broken, just a little bruised and some swelling. "That's good that it isn't broken at least." she had said back to him, nodding in agreement. Soon Ashley said that she shouldn't worry herself about him, that he will be fine and mentioning that he encountered worse. If he has encountered worse than a punch to the face, then his work must be really secret and dangerous. Could he have encountered any of these evil teams before or maybe even know the existence of Team Void as well? Ashley then asked her if she will continue in her training to take on the next gym, nodding back to him as she stood up. "Yeah, I definitely will continue on with my training. There is a lot of work that has to be done if I want to get as strong as possible quickly. I barely managed to beat the last gym, I can't afford to be relying on luck and I certainly won't always be able to run away. When the day comes that he shows up, I have to be ready for the fight of my life." Elizabeth had said back to him, very serious as she ended up saying something regarding her actual goal without realizing it. But she really needs to get a lot stronger than she currently is, and at a much faster rate than she has been going so far.

"Yeah, it's the fighting type next." Elizabeth had then said back to Ashley as he mentioned that the next gym is quite tough, asking if it is the fighting type. She was nodding back to him in agreement when he told her that fighting can be a difficult type to challenge, the reason why she has her team like this because these would give her the best chance of winning. But then Ashley was asking about what she said regarding 'him' and if she is in trouble with someone, shocked. Crap, she had accidentally revealed that to him! How much can she tell him without risking getting him involved with it at all? "...Yes, I am. It's my father. That's why I'm here, I had found out the truth regarding him and ran away. He is bound to come after me once he realizes that I know. I didn't want to get anyone else like you involved because then they could be targeted by him and that group as well. That is also why I hesitate about revealing my history with strangers since I have no idea if someone might also work for that group, sent by my father to come after me instead. I'm sorry. I'm just so scared of him and of them, knowing what they did to my Skitty and what he will do if he captures me, forcing me to join." Elizabeth had then said back to Ashley, looking down as she shivered, remembering when she found those files. She had lost her childhood friend Skitty, and she would only lose all of her other pokemon too if she is caught. She would forcefully have to join Team Void by her father, who will likely control her so she can't leave or tell anyone at all. If Manaphy were to get in the hands of Team Void, it would be an utter disaster for the world. There is still her mother as well, very worried that her father will do something and use that as a threat against her too.

Ashley nodded as she confirmed the gym. Fighting, yes, he thought as much. Still though, he was more focused on the situation at hand. He watched curiously as she explained her earlier comment, a slight frown forming on his face in the process. He didn’t seem to respond much as she explained about her father; that he was apparently part of some organization and that he would not take kindly to her act of ‘running away’. Eventually she finished, explaining about a Skitty and something being done to it, causing him to semi-lower his gaze at her a bit.

My Skitty was experimented on......and died as a result." she had whispered to him, looking down as she thought of that night. Her father had been gone again and she was determined to know why he wouldn't give her Skitty back. So she had gone into his office and went looking around through his files. That was when she found all those documents signed by her father regarding experimentation on pokemon to make them stronger and obedient. Then Elizabeth had quickly found a file on her Skitty and the words FAILED and DEAD were the first things that she noticed on the document. No, not Skitty!! Her father, he lied to her! He stole Skitty and killed her! She was so shocked and stunned by this, knowing what her father did and needing to get away from here quickly. So she left the office in a hurry, packing up the essentials in a rush before leaving and making her way to Kalos. That was the absolute worst night ever, a moment that had changed her life forever.

Ashley nodded his head, still listening intently as Elizabeth answered his questions concerning the organization her father belonged too. The slightest of frowns crossed his face as he processed the name. Team Void? He wasn’t particularly familiar with that name… potentially one of the newer up and coming groups? He listened more though as she explained their actions and how she’d come to be involved as well.
"Ah…," Ashley murmured, raising a hand and adjusting his glasses. Another team manipulating pokemon, hm? That was certainly nothing new; it seemed to be the running theme amongst most them. The fact that this time around though they seemed to be killing pokemon well now… that was a problem. "Je suis désolé… ah, excusez-moi. I am sorry for your loss madam." He replied, correcting himself as he started up in French. He’d been so lost in thought about that, he’d slipped into his native tongue by mistake. He could tell it pained her to recall that memory and felt it only best to offer some level of comfort. He straightened up again, still looking curious a moment.

It is hard to find help when you have no idea who to trust in a new region and considering the likely consequences of getting anyone else involved as well." She had a feeling that this Team Void has ways of dealing with people that know the truth about them, not wanting to find out the hard way what they are. Ashley listened thoughtfully as Elizabeth explained her reasons for not going to police on this matter, his expression going slightly grim at that. So, her father had hidden it all this time? That didn’t strike him as all that surprising (that was usually the case) and as far as the organization being rather secretive well… that was rather concerning as well. To some degree. It sounded semi-exciting but he maintained his look of concern.
"I see…," He tilted his head some, glancing off to the side. They sounded a bit like Team Rocket to be honest, if they were doing pokemon experimentation from the rumors he’d heard from the office. "That is… quite ze problem madam.""Well madam… if you should need help, I am willing to assist you." He held a hand to his chest. "Ze organization I work for… we priorities handling ze teams that have sprouted across the regions. It would be wrong, both in ze case of my work and for my conscious, If I did not offer a madam in need some assistance against such vile individuals." Which was basically, it would probably look bad if he didn’t try to help in some way. He was rather interested in finding out more about this supposed Team Void, though for the most part he wanted to make sure Elizabeth would be all right. She certainly sounded like she’d been through an ordeal.

Elizabeth had heard as Ashley told her that he would be willing to assist her if she needs help, talking about how his organization prioritizes handling all of these different teams in the different regions. No way, the first friend that she makes here in Kalos, and it's someone who could actually help with her problem. This is such a stroke of good luck, extremely happy to have met Ashley and gotten to know him now. "Really? Thank you so much for helping me out. I really appreciate it. It must have been fate that I came to Kalos and met you." she said back to him, nodding and smiling. It was a major relief to have someone here that she can trust and not worry about what would happen if she got them involved with her situation. Then Ashley told her not to hesitate in calling on him for assistance, nodding back and realizing that she didn't have his contact info at all. So she got out her communicator, giving him her contact info before getting his as well so now she can call on him if she needs to.

Elizabeth had heard as Ashley said that he wouldn't be able to sleep at night otherwise, knowing that now at least she will be able to since she has someone to help her out. Soon they exchanged information with each other and he told her that he would do her best to show up as quickly as possible, simply needing to give a call. Then he asked her if that there was anything else he could help her with, thinking before shaking her head. "No, I think that this would be enough. Thank you so much though, I really am grateful. I can rest a little easy now, knowing that I have an ally at least. Hopefully the next time that we meet, it will be just casually and not because you have to help me out of a dangerous situation." Elizabeth had then said back to Ashley, smiling and glad to have him by her side. She was thinking that he probably wants to get going and she should really do the same, needing to do more training. The next gym likely won't be easy either, so she has to really level up her team and make sure that she will not have too much trouble like with the last gym.
