Ashley held the ice pack to his face, gingerly wincing from time to time as he attempted to apply a little pressure. He gave a raspy little sniffle, a test to see if his air ways might indeed be obstructed from a broken nose. They didn’t feel like it though and he was certain the nose bleed was simply to aftermath of the force of impact. Or maybe his nose was a little bit damaged, who really knew. Still, he mulled over the idea of seeking medical attention, if only to help calm the young woman down. She seemed rather concerned after all.
"I suppose that is a fair point." Ashley commented, swiping away a few more speckles of blood. He quirked an eyebrow as she mentioned she’d been down on the beach and caught herself a Milotic. "Oh? That is quite interesting…Milotic are not native to Kalos, much less in zee fully evolved form. You are quite madam." So she was training for the third gym, hm? Well she’d certainly made progress since their chat in the woods. He fell silent though as she questioned why he was in possession of a gun. Ah, so she had been around long enough to witness that as well, hm? Well… that was certainly troublesome. Or maybe not.
"For protection madam. A necessary evil for ze jobs that I do." He replied, adjusting the ice pack once more before turning to collect his case and such. Ashley well recalled that he’d told her that he was a computer specialist, though maybe it was probably about time the truth came out if she opted to inquire. "We should make our way to ze pokemon center, non?"

Elizabeth had heard as Ashley found that her getting a Milotic was interesting since they are not native to Kalos, especially in their evolved form. She definitely agreed with him that she is very lucky indeed. Then he told her that the gun was for protection and a necessary evil for the jobs he does. But how would a gun be necessary for working with computers, unless he works with top secret data? Even though, wouldn't there likely be more digital threats than face-to-face threats when it comes to that? The only occupations that she knows of where guns are needed would be police officers, military, government, or criminals. The odds of Ashley being a bad guy seem unlikely and it would be odd for a criminal to get into fights and pull out a gun like that, drawing attention to themselves. Soon Ashley mentioned that they should make their way to the pokemon center, nodding back. "Yeah, we should get going." Elizabeth had said back to him, agreeing before she lead the way to the pokemon center. She figured that at least he wouldn't be with Team Void since he wasn't actively seeking her out or trying to hide the gun at all. Ashley gave a conceding nod as Elizabeth agreed that they should get moving, clutching his case tightly in one hand and adjusting his other carried objects while keeping the ice pack to his cheek as they walked. He followed just behind her, mind wandering a bit to the previous situation before he snapped back to attention at her question.

Elizabeth had heard as Ashley said yes but nothing else, figuring that he isn't allowed to speak exactly of what he works with. She had kept walking, looking back to see him without his glasses and going a little slower, so she slowed down too. Then she heard him say that he was not entirely honest with her the first time that they met and hoping that she won't think less of him for it. "I would never think less of you for that. If your work is that secret, it makes sense to have to hide it, right? We were strangers after all and sometimes you have to be careful, not knowing if the other person is someone that you can really trust." Elizabeth had then said back to Ashley, nodding back. So far he is the only person here in Kalos that she has trusted, not counting Zero since she knew him from the Halloween incident. She doesn't know if her father is going to directly come after her himself or have someone else do it so she won't realize. That's why she has been trying to keep a low profile and being cautious that she doesn't get too close to anyone unfamiliar in case they are working for her father and Team Void. She has to get much stronger and be ready for when the possibly inevitable happens, prepared to fight back if she has no other choice.

You're so sweet." she said back to him, nodding and felt that he was partially right about that. Back then when she had found out about her father and Skitty, it certainly didn't feel like fortune was on her side at all. Then he had told her that he didn't want to delay her while he was getting the medical treatment, how she can continue on if she wishes. "I'm fine, I don't mind waiting. I just want to make sure that you're going to be alright after all." Elizabeth said back to Ashley as she smiled. Soon he had given her back the ice pack, thanking her for it and how kind she is. "You're welcome and thanks, it was nothing. So did you get to meet up with your co-worker back in Santalune City? Are you doing anything else work-related right now or are you just traveling around, seeing the sights and training up your pokemon?" she then asked him, wondering if he was maybe going to challenge the gyms or not. Elizabeth was not sure when they would see each other again after this if their paths are going to be so different, knowing that he is involved with such secretive work as well.

Ashley almost smirked at the remark of being sweet, restraining it though to a pleasant smile. Well, that was certainly not something he heard every day. But Elizabeth was a nice young woman -she reminded him a bit of his sister at times- and so he wasn’t going to give her the impression that she was misguided in that comment. Soon he had asked about her the same thing, if she has completed some of the gyms and enjoyed the sights too. "Yes, I got the gym badge from Santalune City and then from Cyllage City. So right now I am training my team to take on the Shalour City gym next, enjoying the sights as well. I met up with an old acquaintance in South Lumiose City where we had lunch together and fought a whole bunch of these strange pokemon. That has been pretty much it besides catching even more pokemon too." Elizabeth had said back to Ashley, smiling and nodding back to him. Then they had eventually gotten up to the front counter as the Nurse Joy asked them what they needed. "Yes, Ashley here needs to see a doctor as soon as possible. He has a bruised cheek and possibly an injured nose." she said back as the Nurse Joy nodded back. Now the Nurse Joy was telling them to wait for a bit while she goes to see who is available to see Ashley.

That was certainly odd and had him semi-curious. The conversation was put on hold though as they entered the pokemon center and Elizabeth went to the counter, addressing the Nurse Joy there on Ashley’s behalf. He stood back a bit, just idling, gaze shifting about the pokemon center while the nurse instructed that they wait while she found someone to attend to his injuries.

Then he asked about the strange pokemon, wondering if somehow he had not encountered them at all. There was a Bulbasaur, but instead of them having a flower bud on their back, they had a pumpkin there instead. The Meowth was colored all black and wore a witches hat as well. Then the Spinarak looked like a black widow, with the red hourglass while the Cubone was also colored black, their head covered in red cracks with icy blue eyes. I'm surprised you didn't see them at all because they just kept swarming us and the other people in the city at the time." Elizabeth had then said back to Ashley, wondering if it was something that only happened in South Lumiose City. That seems a little weird then if it was limited to only one place, thinking about it. She just naturally assumed that other people also had that same thing happen to them too.

Elizabeth had heard as Ashley said that her tale was interesting, knowing that anyone would be surprised by such a strange thing happening. He told her that he never encountered them, having been in the outskirts training and such. So it really was only in the city that all those strange pokemon appeared then? Ashley had told her again how it must have been an interesting experience and asking if they gave her any trouble. "At first they did because of the sudden shock and surprise, especially because they kept coming one after another. But eventually it got to the point where I just knocked them out with one hit over and over with the team that I had. I did manage to catch one of those strange Bulbasaurs and a Meowth too." Elizabeth then said back to Ashley, nodding back and thinking of all that happened at the time. It was also during that where she ended up finding and catching that legendary pokemon Manaphy after all.

But then she was very surprised when he asked if she has the pokedex entries for those pokemon and wanting to see them, thinking about it. The pokedex entry for the Manaphy she caught is also in there too, wondering what he would think of that. Honestly she didn't want to let other people besides a professor know about her having a legendary, not wanting to make herself more of a target for her father and Team Void. But after their recent discussion, Ashley seems to be trustworthy and wouldn't tell others of the legendary that she has, right? "Yeah, I do. Sure, you can see them." Elizabeth had then said back to him, nodding back and smiling before handing him her pokedex. Maybe he actually has a legendary too, so they could have something else in common as well.

It seemed like they were common pokemon types, as Elizabeth had explained, though the variation of their colors (for the ones she had caught) where noticeable. They almost had a … Halloween theme to them. It was peculiar… had there been such festivities recently? He couldn’t recall. He flipped through the entries again, pausing a moment as the Manaphy caught his attention, eyebrow quirking curiously. A … mythical pokemon? That was a rather… interesting entry to see. The little indicators showed she’d caught it too. Did she really have something like that in her possession?
