Rose entered the cave with Fynx and Vesper by her side, trying to just keep moving forward. Her body was complaining from all kinds of things; she was hungry, tired, and even anxious. Lucky for her, she was also afraid to rest before getting home, and was looking forward to running into Shenaiya. Also, she was still feeling... well, rather uneasy about eating anything. Her holocaster alerted her of a message from Shenaiya, which made her smile a bit. Good. So Shenaiya was definitely going to be meeting up with her. Rose smiled a bit, walking further into the cave.
Soon, however, she seemed to have stumbled upon some ruckus. Without even being very aware of it, either. "Ah, Rose, look out!" Vesper called out. "Huh?" Rose looked up, only to be bowled over by a large and mostly pink colored creature that came scrabbling down a slope onto her. The red head squeaked, squirming about beneath the creature. "Ah, Rose! Are you alright?" Fynx yelped, moving to help her up as the creature moved. "Sorry! Sorry! Hey, strange request, but hold this, and get her to capture me. Quick!" The dragonish creature growled at Vesper, who seemed to understand. He certainly looked a bit confused, holding on to what seemed to be an egg. "Get back here!" there was a shout up ahead as Fynx helped Rose back to her feet. "Oh jeeze... Uh... um, rose, quick, put him in a pokeball... er, and put this in your bag." Vesper told her, handing the egg over. Rose blinked, accepting the egg and pulling out a pokeball, unsure. This was quite a confusing turn of events. "Um? what?" Rose questioned, looking to the feathered creature. He seemed to get impatient as a person came into view up ahead, hurriedly tapping the ball in her hand to disappear into it with a flash of light.
"You! Hey, What do you think you're doing?" the guy up ahead shouted at Rose. The red head jumped, looking back at Fynx for support, unsure how to deal with the obviously confrontational person approaching. "That egg. You better hand it over! And what did you do with that Chifaera?" the person demanded, already pulling out a pokeball. "Rose... this person doesn't seem... good. Battle him and then we'll run away." Fynx told her. The red head didn't want to fight, but handed the egg over to her starter, replacing Bijou's ball with the new pokemon and tucking the mawile's ball into her bag, also grabbing Auriel's ball in preparation. "H-hey... I don't want any trouble.... b-but... it seems k-kinda weird that it was running away from you..." Rose said, lacking confidence in her voice as she shuffled a bit. "Huh? Not willing to hand it over, huh? That's it. I'll take it by force!" The man exclaimed, sending out a rather menacing looking pokemon. It looked like it had blades on it's face! "Eee! er.... uh... Auriel!" Rose squeaked, releasing her shiny swablu. In a shimmering flash, he appeared, looking about. He chirped questioningly, but fluttered about in the air, looking at the opponent. Rose pulled out her dex, having to be reminded of her pokemon's attacks. "Huh, I'll take that shiny bird from you too. Let's go, Haxorus!" the man said.
"Uh... uh... Sing!" Rose ordered Auriel. The bird appeared to be of a higher level than the Haxorus, swooping forward and putting it to sleep quickly. "You little- You'll pay for that!" the guy grimaced, then shouted at his pokemon that had dropped down, fast asleep. Rose squeaked, moving to hide behind Fynx. "Rose, quick. Have Auriel use Dragon pulse. Take it down while it's still sleeping." the Delphox told her, holding the egg under one arm while comforting the girl with the other. The fox looked about, wondering where the heck Vesper had disappeared to. "H-huh? wh-when did he learn that? - er, Auriel, Dragon pulse it while it's still down!" Rose commanded, clinging to her starter. Auriel gave an affirmative chirp, and shot a beam of purple energy at the sleeping opponent, hitting it really hard. The opponent remained asleep, and the man seemed to only get more furious at his pokemon. Auriel didn't need instructions to keep this up, and finally, ko'd the beast with one final hit before it could wake up.
The battle seemed to be won, and Rose was relieved. "I'm not done yet! You just got lucky! I'll teach you not to -" the guy shouted, pulling out another pokeball. However, he was cut off as Vesper suddenly appeared behind him, appearing to have tackled him against the cave wall. "Run!" the boy called out. Rose took no time to start running by with Fynx, rushing towards the cave entrance. Vesper eventually caught up with them as they fled, auriel still flying above.

As Rose ran along, she heard her holocaster alert her to messages. "Ohmanohmanohman! I can't answer right now!" she exclaimed, running along towards the exit. She wanted so badly to stop and look at the messages, but... she was kind of running away from someone that seemed to be up to no good. She turned a corner and skid to a halt as another menacing pokemon blocked her path. Rose squeaked and tried to back away, but the Haxorus stepped forward, growling. "That's right. She's the one. Take her out!" the man from before's voice sounding.
Without even being prompted, Auriel flew at the Haxorus, pecking at his face to distract him from his frightened trainer. Rose slinked off to cower behind Fynx and Vesper. "Stupid bird! Get rid of it!" the man ordered his dragon. However, the shiny swablu moved fast and put this dragon to sleep with a sing attack without being ordered. A string of curses flew from the man's mouth. Rose shuddered as she hugged against her Delphox, hiding her face as if it would make this go away. She didn't even know why this was even happening! "He's some kind of pokemon poacher, Rose. I think he was after that pokemon that you... 'caught' earlier. and maybe after this egg. We shouldn't let him win. We can't." Fynx told her trainer, nuzzling her with her muzzle. Rose didn't want to battle, but... she certainly didn't want to let this bad man take that pokemon! It seemed scared of him, and though she still felt weak, she wanted to stand up for the pokemon. Or at least try. "Good Job, Auriel! Keep using Dragon Pulse, just like last time!" Rose called to her pokemon, much to the frustration of the other man.
A few turns passed, the haxorus staying asleep while her shiny swablu powerful purple beams at the pokemon. However, this one was tougher than the last. It woke up, and the man seemed relieved. "Get 'em with your Dual Chop!" the guy demanded. The dragon then swung his head at Auriel, slashing at him with the blades on his face. "A-auriel!" Rose exclaimed, worried as her bird was knocked into a wall nearby. However, there didn't seem to be much cause for worry, as he recovered from the hit quite well. His body even seemed to be glowing a bit... "He's alright, Rose." Fynx told her trainer to reassure her. Rose nodded, then watched as Auriel went for the final hit, this purple beam almost seeming to be even stronger than the last, blasting the now unconscious haxorus back and out of the way.
"You won, Rose! Let's get go- huh? Hey, look!" Vesper announced, then was cut off briefly as a bright flash of light emanated from Auriel's body, his form changing. Rose watched in awe as the second pokemon she got evolved before her eyes into a larger, poofier bird. He was quite dazzling, too. Auriel hummed proudly as he turned his head to look back at his trainer. He then looked to the bad guy who was dealing with his ko'd haxorus before flying ahead as if to lead the way. "Come on, Rose. We are almost out! Once we get to Geosenge, he should stop bothering us and we can hang out in the Pokemon Center." Fynx said, trotting forward. Vesper gave a nod and started after them too. "Uh-uh... alright... " Rose mumbled, then ran after them to put some distance between her and this persistent man. Hopefully Auriel didn't mind the lack of recognition for the special occasion, but she'd make sure to make it up to him somehow.

Auriel chirped up ahead, followed by a ruffle of feathers and the scrabble of talons on the floor. The exit was just ahead, and the Altaria waited for the others to catch up. "Hah... oh thank arceus..." Rose commented, trying to catch her breath. Usually such running wouldn't take so much out of her. It probably would have been best if she had rested before heading back home. She'd probably get scolded by her mother for being so reckless. "Rose... are you alright? You seem tired." Fynx questioned, tilting her head slightly as she examined her trainer. "Oh jeeze- uh... I'll catch up with you! You go on ahead. I have to take care of something real quick." Vesper suddenly said, then dashed back further into the cave. Rose felt confused by his sudden departure, but was too tired to call him back. Auriel hopped forward, seeming to talk to Fynx.
"I'll carry that egg, Miss." The altaria told the silvery fox. Fynx's ears twitched back, her attention being brought back to the fact that she was still carrying the unidentified egg. The Delphox awkwardly handed over the egg, which seemed to settle into Auriel's fluffy wings. It sure looked comfortable. "There. Now, why don't you offer to carry Rose, hm?" Auriel chirped, and the Delphox seemed a bit irritated at the obvious suggestion, but gave a nod. Of course she'd carry her trainer! Silly bird...
"A-ah... I don't know if i could run any further..." Rose muttered, then squeaked as Fynx wordlessly lifted her in her arms. "I'll carry you. Let's get out of here already." the delphox told her trainer, then followed the hopping Altaria out of the cave and to Geosenge.

Passing into the Reflection Cave, Avikna picked up on the reasoning behind it's name rather quickly. "Jeeze, look at me..." The red-head pouted some, leaning forward to get a better look at her face. Even her dark skin couldn't hide the bags under her eyes. The way her red-eyes seemed even more red with how bloodshot they were, not to mention it seemed like she was looking at a zombified version of herself. the life in her eyes were practically gone. Resting a hand on the mirror-like surface of the cave wall she looked over at Mave who seemed rather fixated y her own appearance. "Let's keep going." Avikna stated, stepping up to the wolf and running a hand along her white fur. "Mirrors lie." She stated with a smile. Looking up Mave nodded, turning sharply and heading for the exit. The Reflection Cave was fairly large, so it would take some time to pass through it, hopefully it would remain uneventful.
Not long after that thought, they were quickly ambushed by a group of Roggenrola. "They're kind of familiar looking." Avikna stated as she backed up a bit. Looking around she noticed Celcius unravel his cloth from around her neck. Not long after he took the lead over everyone else. "You want to take them all on?" The blade bobbed as if nodding. "Alright, it'll be a good challenge. Use Swords Dance to start!" The blade displayed other swords, a act of boosting it's strength. Three of them tried for a triple headbutt, ending up missing Celcius, being a ghost, their normal physical moves wasn't going to effect him much. The other two tried for sand attacks, finding their sand dance did nothing to faze the ghost, his ability helping in that department. "Alright, Swords dance again." Once more the blade danced around with blades, while the Roggenrola tried for Headbutts, Tackles or Sand-attacks. Save for one which instead readied himself through caution with a Harden. Another followed in suit, while the others continued their assault. By the end of four more rounds with Swords dance, two had three hardens up, one with a single harden and one with none. "Hit the one without a harden up first!"
It took some time, but eventually.... Celcius felled them all. With Harden it lessened the blows, but in the end Celcius' Swords Dancing balanced the scale, eventually winning over the rocks. "Next time though, I think a bit of type advantage would make more sense." Avkna stated as the blade returned to his place. He tightened his cloth seemingly draining her of some of her energy, as the red-head felt oddly weak after that comment. Mave snickered, but kept close to Avikna to grab onto her horn.

Not long after saying this, did Avikna run into another group of Roggenrola. "Persistent bunch aren't they?" Avikna pondered, raising a hand to her chin. She felt Celsius unraveling his cloth, but before he could Avikna grabbed hold of it. "Were not sitting here for another 2o minutes while you dwindle down their energy." Avikna stated, rather firmly. The blade protested, pulling away some, finding his cloth firmly in the red-head's hands. Using her free hand she called out Zelda. "I'm serious, Celsius." Still he refused to listen, eventually tugging hard enough to make a burning sensation force Avikna to let go of this cloth, the blade fell forward swinging himself in between two rocks. Turning to check on Celsius she found he was actually stuck. "Well, that's what you get." The red-head stated. "Zelda take them out with Surf." bobbing her body she turned and quickly began to take care of the Roggenrola. Mave stepped back, joining Avikna as the red-head boldly reached forward and grabbed the sword by his hilt. "Hold on and I'll pull you free. Mave, breath a bit of hot air on him to make his steel more flexible." At first the blade protested, but as he watched all of the Roggenrola fall all at the same time thanks to Zelda, he decided there was no need to fight Avikna anymore. Wrapping his cloth around her arm, the blade pulled up while she pulled up as well. A bit of time passed before finally the blade came free.
Keeping hold on Celsius' hilt, Avikna lowered the blade down towards the ground. Something shiny caught her eye, and as she released Celsius she leaned forward to find a collection of Heart Scales. "Wow... A few inches more and you'd of consumed all three of them." Avikna stated. Grabbing one she offered it to Celsius. "Here. I get you want to get stronger, but come on... 5 at once, you're not ready for that." Celsius's solitary eye seemed to stare deeply at Avikna. For a moment they continued to stare at each other, but as if giving in the blade floated over and grabbed the scale before finding his hilt and returning to Avikna's back. Placing the other two scales in her bag with the rest she rejoined Zelda and returned the Pokemon with a word of thanks. Everything settled, the group pressed forward.

Without more incidences, the group finally made it to the exit of the Reflection Cave. Stopping for a moment to look at another mirror wall, the red-head glanced down towards Mave, finding the wolf's glance back towards her... rather... strange. "What?" Avikna asked, feeling there was something on Mave's mind. Ruffling her wings, the wolf glanced away, looking out towards the light that peeked inside the cave. 'I just had a strange feeling.' She stated. "A strange feeling? Like what?" Looking back up at the mirror, the red-head fiddled with the small piece of white hair she had. 'Like I've remembered something about you, but... I should already know everything about you, right? I mean... Just becuase you lost your memories doesn't mean I lost mine of yours.' The wolf shook her head. 'Does that makes sense?' Avikna titled her head, holding up a hand to cup her chin. "I think I get it.... Like, you should know the old me, but you feel you've remembered something...extra? Like a secret chapter of a game or something..?" Mave though on that analogy, eventully nodding. 'Yes, I think that's it. Funny thing is... that dream you mentioned earlier, right.. about holding the sword and wearing some strange armour?' Avikna nodded, showing Mave she understood. 'Well, that's what I feel I remembered about you. Wearing a suit of armour, that is...' Pursing her lips the red-head shook her head. "Maybe...." She cut herself off, turning to look back at the mirror. "Maybe.. it's not my past, but someone elses..." Mave held up her head a bit more, a confused expression crossing her eyes. He was just at the entrance when a shout stopped him, and he turned his head, frowning. "Hey! Hey. Hey. Sorry, but... Can I battle you?" Jay turned towards the individual, frown deepening. Jay frowned as Quena begrudgingly returned to him, looking away stubbornly as she waited to be returned to her pokeball. Instead Jay blindly leaned down, keeping his head up, but holding his hand out. She blinked, looked at his hand, eyed him a moment, then hopped on, letting him lift her up until she was close enough to leap to his shirt, and scramble into his pocket. He placed one hand with his thumb hooked into a belt loop, the other by his side, holding the pokedex, waiting for the next pokemon to be sent out. Once he identified it as a dragon type, he had Gamma step forward, the tough Mawile standing tall and ready, hands balled into fists by his sides. He shifted his weight, then ran forward, swinging his head back, and then forward in a round motion to throw the venus-trap appendage forward, snapping onto his opponent and thrashing him. Mawile pushed off, landing back and tossing his head back to bring the pony-tail-esque growth back over his shoulder, staring down the fainted dragon pokemon. At least... the battles were going quickly.

Jay frowned as his opponent's next pokemon was brought down just as quickly. "Jus' why were ya so intent on doin' this again?" he asked, his suspicions starting to raise. It seemed his pokemon were either catching on, or picking up on his energy. Machoke was staring their opponent down, her arms crossed over her chest, and Mawile maintained a strong stance beside his trainer. Zoey was hard to read, but she seemed wary, and only Quena, who was happily curled up in her pocket, and Ralts, who was looking away, hand raised to his mouth, seemed unaffected. "I was curious! I wanted to see if you had any other pokemon!" the guy replied, grinning. Jay's frown deepened. He really wasn't sure he bought that...

If this guy had the same amount of pokemon as his friends, then this was the second to last. Jay raised an eyebrow, turning his head to listen back towards Machoke as, oddly enough, her previous form was sent out. The fighting pokemon blinked, but then let out a boisterous, fond laugh, throwing her head back, and then straightening with a grin. "Ma! Choke!" she guffawed, meaning, Bring it down, Molly!" Mawile grimaced and glanced back at her with a frown, but turned to face his opponent, and brought it down just as easily as the others. What... had this match been made for him or something? He was bringing them down single handedly one after the other, and much as he liked the go boost... it was getting a bit ridiculous here.

The young man froze, having juts returned his pokemon, eyes wide. ".... What?" he asked, glancing around a bit. Jay frowned, still listening. "... Ralts, there uh ghost type 'round here?" he asked, straightening a bit. Ralts was frowning. '.... Yes,' he replied, his expression darkening a bit, 'But it's not seen.' Jay walked into the cave, and made his way around a bit before coming to a stop. He listened to make sure no wild pokemon or trainers were around, then lifted Mimey's pokeball off his belt, holding it up, and speaking. "Listen, Mahmy, ah know ya ain't too happy right now, but ah can' help with that. Ain't gonna be able t'do anythin' till ya come out, though, alright?" He waited a moment, then opened the pokeball. Mime... Well, Mr. Mime, appeared, rubbing her eyes, and immediately dropping down. Ralts scurried forward, now much smaller in comparison, but reached up to pat her arm. "Look, Mahmy--""Why am I a MR. MIIIIIIIIIMMMEEEE?" Mimey wailed, sobbing. Jay rubbed his temple. That... hurt his head a bit. "Because tha's watchu 'volve inta," he replied. "But I'm a GIRL!" she cried. Jay frowned. "Look, ah don' see what the problem is--""Jay that's NOT. FUNNY," the pokemon sobbed, "I look so st-stupid..."
Jacque frowned, crouching down. "Look, thuh sayin' beauty's only skin deep has whole other meanin's when yer trainer's uh blind guy," he started, "Ah ain't even sure what beauty is.
