The final Pokemon that Rich sent out was Zebstrika and yes it was impressive. The electric Pokemon would have super effective moves against Noivern however Rich was distracted and ordered the electric Pokemon to use quick attack. Zebstrika would hit first however the blast of the dragon pulse would still connect and Zebstrika would faint eventually. Once it was over both Noivern and Pidgeotto split the experience and both gained a level. Thanking Rich for the battle Simon smirked as he switched off the radio player.

As Harold returned Hoppip sending out his next Pokemon, "Simisage the thorn monkey Pokemon. It attacks enemies with strikes of its thorn-covered tail. This Pokemon is wild tempered." The leech seed worried Simon so he returned Pidgeotto for Noivern. The dragon Pokemon did a loop in the air as Simon called out for him to whip up a Hurricane. However Simisage knew something like that was coming so he raised up a barrier of protection to negate the attack. Harold called out for Simisage to keep it up since if Hurricane hit they were done for.

Just as he feared the super effective flying attack threw Simisage high into the air. Landing with a thud Simisage was unable to battle and Harold returned him. The final Pokemon in the three on three battle was Trevenant however this one had an odd glow around its neck. It was some sort of hold item that was really going to hurt. Returning Noivern Simon sent out his own ghost Pokemon to take this Pokemon on Shedinja floated there. Simon could see the ghost tree's branches start to drip with corrosive poisons as it charged to attack.

The next battle that Simon found himself in was against a kid named Ryan who was using a mix of bug and grass types. This was perfect for Pidgeotto and for now Simon would try to only use her. Ryan was getting ready for his Seedot to win and Simon sighed but remained silent sometimes he felt bad when it came to these battles but it was usually the other trainers that wanted to battle the most.

If it is attacked, Cascoon remains motionless however badly it may be hurt. it does so because if it were to move, its body would be weak upon evolution. As long as he used Pidgeotto or Mankey or someone at a lower level to battle they would be fine. Now Pidgeotto hovered in front of him to battle against a new trainer's Snivy.
