A little bit of walking and weaving and he was up and out the gates on the way to North Lumiose. Sebastian hadn't realized how dry the walk between North Lumiose and Coumarine really was. Of course, if he recalled correctly, his face was pretty much firmly planted in a book the entire time, trying to figure out maps and contests and all that good stuff. And well... Jay certainly wouldn't have noticed either to remark.
He'd even missed the giant power plant looming in the distance. Was it open? He couldn't tell to be honest. It seemed to be alive though from this distance it could've just been a fabrication of his mind. Sebastian shook his head. There was no time to wonder about abandoned power plants or desert dryness or whatnot. Actually a moment of thought on that last one reminded him that the place was rather flat. Without hesitation he pulled out his roller blades and pulled them on and with that, was off with an added boost of speed thanks to the wind at his back.

This wasn't a city Gio was used to seeing. It was different and the people were just as different. Gio knew the first thing he needed to do was go to a Pokemon Center and so he decided to try and follow the signs. They were mostly in French and it didn't seem that the locals knew much more either. He should have really paid more attention back in Team Snaggem when they were teaching him French instead of copying off the Trainer next to him.

After some wandering Giovanni finally found the Pokemon Center. Walking inside it seemed like they weren't that busy and so Gio was able to drop his Pokemon off right away. While he was waiting he looked at the boat schedule. It seems he had just missed the last ship to Johto for at least two weeks. There was one leaving soon though for Vermilion. At least if he took that one then he could go up to Saffron and take the train to Goldenrod. Avoiding his whole fear of running into Jasmine

Making his way to the ship yard was alot easier of a task than trying to find the Pokemon Center. Not only was it to obvious to miss it was the only place that had signs leading directly to it. Gio boarded the ship to Kanto and went to his cabin. It would be best if he got some rest before he landed. He rarely got the chance to sleep so this was a prime opportunity. He let Lucario sleep as well, well at least that's what he thought his Pokemon was going to do while they shared the same bed

- Sebastian was snapped from his thoughts by the sound of a sharp chirp from Rummy. He frowned, and looked up, noting that the Leafeon had stopped in all his skipping and hopping and prancing about giddily to stare wide eyed at an approaching brown bull pokemon. The Tauros was grazing close to the path they were on, ignoring them for the most part until Rummy had made noise. The bull blew air through it’s nose, staring the grass type down in a bit of agitation.
Sebastian stepped close, ready to grab Rummy and pull him away from the situation before an idea came to mind. Maybe now was a good time to test some of Rummy’s moves so that he could get an idea for contests. Or at least, find a way to get the Leafeon to focus for more than two seconds. He was a wild ball of energy after all.
"Rummy, let’s battle it okay? I want to get some practice for you." He remarked, the Leafeon looking up at him curiously before giving excited chirps. Battle? Awesome! He hadn’t battled in a little while this was certainly going to be fun! Though he wasn’t quite sure what his trainer meant by practice. He totally knew how to move his moves and all. What was there to practice? Sebastian just nodded, swiping a stray strand of hair out of his face before focusing on the Tauros.
"Alright, I want you to use your Energy Ball. Practice focusing and using it without you know… prancing all over the place." Rummy gave the man a sort of quizzical look. No prancing? Buuuuttt…. Sebastian watched as the Tauros bucked and turned, running back into the forests after it was soundly defeated. Rummy chirped excitedly at his win, jumping up and down in joy at his win. He’d managed to focus well enough to launch several energy balls into the beasts face and he was fairly certain that the last one was the biggest of them all.
Sebastian had noticed it too and was rather proud of it. Rummy had in fact managed to maintain enough focus to fire the attacks directly at the wild pokemon and send it running. He’d also noted how steady the attack had been and had starting putting some ideas together on how to get the Leafeon to focus so that he could perform in contests. He pulled out his pokedex and did a double check, blinking in surprise at the sight of a new move in Rummy’s set. Swords Dance? Hm…. He wondered if he could make use of that too.
Sebastian would have to think about that on the ferry ride though. He perked up at the sound of ship horns blowing, immediately shoving his pokedex back into his bag as he started to rush for the docks. "Come on Rummy! We have to catch the boat!" He remarked, scooping the Leafeon up into his arms as he started to run. Luckily enough the horn was indicating the ship’s arrival in the harbor. It only took a couple of minutes to get himself set on the boat and with Rummy in arms, he was on his way back to Lilycove. He was starting to get an idea of what he’d do for contests… he thought anyways...

They had been pushing it pretty hard through the cave and then the gym battle in the previous town, so she fivured now would be a nice chance to kick back and relax for a bit. She let all of her pokemon out of their balls and set things up to have a nice picnic dinner by the bay. It was something she'd intended to do for her pokemon for a while now, but just didn't have the best opportunity to. The cloth was laid out, the food set up and everyone gathered around to relax. Unfortunately, they weren't the only ones about at this time of day. The smell of food had lured in some scavengers hoping to get a few morsels themselves. A small cluster of Wingull swooped in one by one and landed nearby, squawking noisily for a treat. Berrie attempted to shoo them off, but the birds were persistent and were making some of her pokemon uncomfortable. "Ugh,,,they will not give up. Sparky, will you chase them off?"[- -]The mouse's eyes lit up as it was called upon, trusted to handle this swarm of flying nuisances. He gave a happy squeak and dove into the middle of the flock. As he moved, his cheeks sparked with power, and as he landed amidst the birds, that power was expelled in all directions, like a little nova of energy. -]Thanks to Dedenne's shockingly powerful attempt at dealing with the scavenger birds, Cerbera and the rest of her pokemon were able to enjoy the rest of their picnic. The whole group relaxed until the sun dipped below the horizon and the sky went dark. Everyone had eaten their fill and were starting to look a little sleepy. by this point, so she gathered everyone except for Lua in their pokeballs, and she carried the adorable little ginger in her arms like a big sister taking care of her younger sister. She carried the little girl into the city and found her way to the pokemon center. Luckily there were rooms to spare, and the center put Berrie and her pokemon up for the night. When morning came, the pair set out again, her other pokemon safely tucked away in their balls. As they crossed the city, a cry of alarm went up from somewhere down the street. Berrie couldn't place it too well, though, because there was a big cloud of dust blocking the view. Almost too late, she realized it was a stampede, and her hand immediately went to her Haunter's pokeball. "Yuki! Ice this herd!!"[- -]Yuki popped out of her ball, her eyes going nearly twice their normal size when she saw the incoming herd. Immediately she glowed, whipping up a storm that was fierce enough to knock out every last one of them, which appeared to be Miltank.[- -]While the sudden stampede registered in Berrie's head and the panic wore off, a fat, stubby man in a cowboy had waddled up to her and took her hand. He started thanking her up and down for stopping his herd from escaping, and as thanks, he gave Berrie one of the Miltank. Her head was spinning, and she didn't even register the new pokeball in her hand for at least ten minutes afterward.[-

Brian pressed his lips together and looked at Mel as they headed out of Shalour, and on their way to Coumarine. "You're speaking different. Did that guy have an accent?" Mel blinked, giving Brian a look in confusion at the remark, and the question. "Wot?" she uttered, laughing a little in perplexity. "That guy. The one you were hanging out with. Did he have an accent or something?" he clarified. At the sincerely confused look on Mel's face, Brian rolled his eyes. "You always do this. You talk different when you've been around someone with an accent. Last time your cousins visited, I could barely understand you for a day and a half," he complained.
Catching on, Mel gave him a look. "He had an accent, but I don't talk that differently, Bri. You're exaggerating," she replied flatly back, folding her arms over her chest. Of course... now that he mentioned it, she was going to be more aware of how she talked. Maybe she had been slipping into a bit of a more... relaxed way of talking, or something, but it was pretty hard not to, and it wasn't like it was that different. Certainly not worth him complaining about.

Brian rolled his eyes a bit at her stubbornness. "Well, you certainly wouldn't be the one to hear it or anything," he pointed out. He paused, apparently thinking of something-- something very off subject, as it turned out. "Hey, have you heard from your brother lately?" he queried. The randomness was noted, and Mel raised an eyebrow at him. "Why? Wanting some bro time? You know he's not coming out of his room to travel to Kalos," she remarked with amusement. Brian gave a hard roll of his eyes. "Ha-ha-ha," he replied back dryly, before giving a gesture to the pokeballs around her waste, "No, I meant about Kiwi. Has he learned anything else about it? I mean, does it evolve or... I dunno... upgrade or whatever?" Mel blinked, then looked down, realization hitting her. Oh... That... Hm. That was actually a good point. She reached up, scratching the back of her head with a bit of muffled, sheepish embarrassment. "Oh... Well, last I heard, it was robotic, so it could be programmed and everything... I imagine there's some sort of... way to upgrade it and everything, though I don't really see why..." She shrugged, looking down at Kiwi's pokeball thoughtfully. Mel bit her lip a moment, but then shook her head, giving a wave of her hand. "I'll send 'em an email or somethin' later," she decided with surprising nonchalance. It actually was really something to consider, but she... she really liked Kiwi in its present form. It was... well, it was adorable. Honestly, just found it so cute. The way it hopped around, how small it was, tripping over its own feet, watching and learning and mimicking and all its odd behavior. She wasn't sure why, but she found it all incredibly endearing. And she was admittedly, honestly, a little concerned that changing too much, might change it. Even though saying it had a personality might be a bit generous, it still sort of... did, and she didn't want to take that away from it. Let it form, let it grow, sure, but changing its hardwiring to adjust its programming, and shift that core foundation, just seemed... wrong. Even if she was pretty sure her brother, and maybe even Brian, didn't at all see it that way. Maybe she was being a little overly empathetic... hmm...

His eyes landed on Vermillion city. Yeah, yeah that was one of the areas an egg was located at! He smiled, nodding as he made his way to the Kanto region. Time to search for some more eggs!

Lafayette and co. touched down in Coumarine, the man narrowing his gaze to look around. This place was really, green… there was even a huge tree located smack dab in the middle of the place. Really, these towns got crazier and crazier the different regions you went to. He hopped off the back of Dova, glancing at Noah as he followed suit. Okay so… he could go ahead and move along to the gym if he wanted or look around for anything of interest.
Noah’s gaze shifted around in interest, eyes catching the glint of something in the grass nearby. He perked his head up curiously, toddling over to look. A little digging and he found an odd orb that looked like a giant marble. He ogled it a moment, looking around to see if there was anyone searching about. There wasn’t though and so he scooped up the orb as his own, rushing back over to Lafayette. He was about to offer it up in pride when he noticed his trainer focused on his communicator. Oh? Was he getting a message or something?
Lafayette frowned as he listened to the voice message he’d received. Apparently, he was needed somewhere else to pick up… something for Juliean. It was rather vague and broken and the most he got was the location. Alola? Huh… that was new. He’d have to consider that before they headed out. Lafayette sighed and huffed a strand of hair from his face (he really needed a haircut or something) and headed for the pokemon center to get more information. Once he had some directions he was back out and climbing on Dova, Noah tucked right in front of him with his prize still in hand. Lafayette frowned, finally noticing it. Where’d he find that? Oh well… it didn’t matter. They had to get heading out. With a gentle kick, Dova was up in the air and heading off for this Alola region for the pick up.
