Landing outside the power plant Simon returned Noivern and looked out across the dry area. It was a large area but with no wind whipping up the sand to blind him he could see a few people wandering around and crossing the area to get to the next one. There were a few railings as well which weren't used for walking but for skaters to grind on. Moving across the land Simon sent out Cubone as a wild Slugma appeared. The level difference was there but Simon hoped that Cubone could hold his own, if anything Greninja could help.

As they continued across the desert another trainer came up requesting a battle, Simon agreed but the man, Hal, said that he had a few legendries on his team. Simon was concerned but nodded sending Cubone out to get some knowledge out of this. The first Pokemon he sent out though was quite fearsome as Cubone hid behind Simon's legs, "Regigigas the colossal Pokemon. It is said to have made Pokemon that look like itself from a special ice mountain, rocks and magma."

Noivern unleashed a powerful wind which caused a loud boom as the wave flew across the ground and into the water Pokemon. The explosion knocked Tentacruel out and Noivern to be the victor for this round.

The next Pokemon that Kyle had was a normally decent, as Shroomish it was a powerful grass Pokemon then to become the fighting Breloom we see in front of them was that much better. However flying moves were extremely effective against both grass and fighting Pokemon so having one that was both wasn't good. Noivern whipped up the high winds and used the move hurricane to lift the fighter into the air and crashing back to earth.
