Knowing what she wanted, and knowing the pokemon were fairly high level here, Ajicka immediately sent Jas out. All her other pokemon were getting too high in level, and with that new attack of his, he could probably plow through plenty of their opponents if this Klefki ended up being a bit tricky to find. As it turned out, it likely would be. The first pokemon she encountered was a Level 36 Phantump, which easily went down from his V-Create attack. Avoiding thinking about the evolved form of that pokemon she'd encountered at that unpleasant ball, Ajicka pushed on, but was slowed by a 34 Trubbish, which also went down by Jas' V-Create, his megastone and ability combining to amp the already powerful move even more.

Okay this was getting weird. Just... weird. Ajicka stared as another magneton showed up, before shrugging and rolling her eyes, having Jas take it down. Even he was looking a little confused by this odd turn of events, and roared out in surprise as yet another Trubbish showed itself. Okay seriously? They both seemed to be the same levels as the pokemon that had come before them, too! So strange. Ajicka rubbed the back of her neck, glancing down as Bagon let himself out, shifting his weight. Looking at him... it seemed he had been getting a lot stronger with all his training on the side. After this festival was over, and she had her eight badges... she would have to really work on training him up. He had deserved it, being as patient as he was.

Which reminded her of the other dragon pokemon she had... She pulled herself out of her thoughts as apparently the pokemon decided to mix it up a bit, sending a Litwick instead, which Jas still easily took out with Rock Slide. Then it sent the pokemon weak to fire, a Pumpkaboo, which, again... Jas easily took out. Ajicka ran a hand through her hair, sighing and pressing further, then stopping to turn and look around. She had really hoped this wouldn't take that long... but apparently, the pokemon were determined to make her work for it. At least Jas seemed to be benefiting from it by gaining some exp and such, though.

Oh ho! The pattern held. A lower leveled, this time, Electrode, which Jas took out with V-Create, followed by a higher leveled Magneton. Again. Weak to fire. So far it seemed just about every time, it was a pokemon weak to one of Jas' moves, and one that could be taken out by V-Create. One higher leveled, one lower leveled. It was just... so strange... She shook her head, glancing down at Bagon again, then motioning for Jas for them to start heading back, so they didn't get too far from the entrance. She thought about Deino, which she'd... actually found back on that island-- what even was that place? -- and how she hadn't really trained him much, either. She had him in her party, but... she'd barely let him out of his pokeball. Mostly because the few times that she had, he just wouldn't stop crying. Maybe letting him see the other pokemon battling more would be good for him.... Or something.

Shaking off the thought for the time being, she looked up as another Magneton appeared, which Jas took down. This time, though, breaking the pattern and finally showing up, a Klefki appeared. She smirked, and though it took a few tries, she managed to catch it with a pokeball.
With that done, she headed for the exit, returning Bagon and Jas despite their obvious preference to stay out. She'd release them once she got back to the festival.

Felix was tense as he entered the old hotel, wary of the building's dilapidated appearance. He understood the reason his contact had chosen the location - discretion and all that - but did they have to meet somewhere so run down? The place looked like it was going to fall apart and bury the man under rotted beams and mold-covered plaster. There were several cities with back alleys to slip into and any one of those could have made a better choice than some condemned relic of a hotel. Safer, too, since Felix didn't need to be any sort of psychic to notice that the place had a ghost infestation.
Still, this was where the contact wanted to meet, so with a grumble Felix began picking his way through the hotel's reception room. "This had better be worth it," the man muttered as he walked, occasionally using a foot to push aside rotting trash scattered on the floor in order to clear a spot for said foot. Once across, he made his way down a hall until he reached the door to the stairwell. No way was he willing to risk his neck on the elevator of such a worn down building! Although it took a few tries due to the door's age causing it to stick, Felix managed to force it open and proceeded up the stairs, heading up a few floors.

By the time he reached the landing for the second floor, Felix was already wheezing, and when he reached the third floor he actually had to stop and catch his breath. Not that he was out of shape - he actually considered himself fairly fit - but between getting knocked through a wall during his fight with Sycamore and his bad landing in Santalune's forest, he had ended up rather bad off. To say the man was still winded was a massive understatement. Add in that he had to hurry halfway across Kalos, and it was a wonder he was still in any condition to move. Felix was certainly looking forward to finishing up his little delivery so he could rest and recuperate.

As Felix scanned the plaques for the room he was to meet his contact in, he pulled out his old pokedex. "Glitch? What do we have left as far as items?" he asked quietly, stopping to lean back against a relatively clean stretch of wall as he waited for the porygon to get back to him. It didn't take long. A screen soon appeared detailing what items the man had in his storage system. It wasn't much, just a few miscellaneous items, less than a half-dozen potions, and a revive. "...Go ahead and prep Daemon for work," he urged. Talon might have been better as an escape option, but Felix doubted the skarmory would be as effective while confined in small rooms and narrow hallways. Besides, maybe a fierce fire type in a dilapidated building would be enough of a hazard to deter any funny business.
All too soon, Glitch had finished with his trainer's request and an icon of a tiny porygon jumping around cheerfully was on the screen of the pokedex. One of the bad things about a digital assistant, Felix thought as he lightly pushed himself off the wall and continued down the hall. They're done too fast. Still, the pokemon had done what he requested, so Felix muttered a quick "Thanks," before pocketing the dex again. He didn't want to let the fire type out just yet, though. After all, Daemon had been blasted through a wall and stuck unconscious since then. Just because he was able to fight, that didn't mean the canine had recovered. Felix was more than willing to let Daemon rest a while longer if he wasn't actually needed.
It wasn't much longer before Felix found the door he needed and stopped in front of it. The male trainer put a hand in his pocket to fish something out, cringing and inhaling sharply at the jolt of pain from using his right arm. That was a pretty bad sign, but he took the fact that he could at least use it now as a silver lining. Not well, as his hand shook as he used the key he pulled out on the door, but it was certainly better than being completely unusable. Felix decided to stick his right hand back in his pocket for now and used his left hand to actually open the door. He just had to hide his pain for a little while and then he could slink off somewhere to rest, recover, and restock.
Inside the room, sitting in a chair that looked like it threatened to collapse under the person, was a woman who looked to be about Felix's age. Maybe. "About time you got here," the woman huffed, her arms crossed in front of her chest as she looked the male trainer over. "You should know it's impolite to keep a lady waiting." The fingers of her left hand tapped against her right arm as she watched the man shut the door behind him.
Felix let out a quiet "Heh," at the woman's comment. "Maybe, but I'm not the one that changed the date," he countered, a smirk appearing as his contact scowled. "Maybe you should have changed the venue, too, if time was such a concern." He would have preferred that, honestly. He hadn't been here long but he already hated this place. It gave him the creeps, and that was without him seeing any ghosts yet.
"Enough banter. Do you have it or not?" the woman snapped, and that was Felix's cue to get to business. "Right here." As he spoke, he pulled out the envelope of documents within his bag. While he couldn't keep himself from grimacing, at least the trainer kept himself from freezing up out of pain. "Sycamore's research on mega stones, mega evolution, it's effects on various pokemon, plus a bit extra," the man commented dryly as he set the files on an old nightstand near him. "And of course..." Once more reaching into the bag, he pulled out the multicolored hunk of rock that had been the main point of his robbery. "...One undiscovered, unrefined mega stone. As requested."
When the woman stood, Felix stepped away from the counter to allow his contact an opportunity to inspect the research for herself. He kept a hold of the stone, though. The documents may have been worth a fortune to the right person, but that stone had apparently been the real prize, and he wasn't foolish enough to just let this woman have it yet. So he kept hold of it and watched as his contact picked through the papers and packets. It was a long wait, so at some point Felix had walked over to the sagging bed in the room and sat on its edge.
Eventually, the woman tucked the documents back in the plain envelope and sealed it. "Guess you're more reliable than you look. Everything's here." The woman tucked the files into a bag of her own, then pursed her lips and pulled out a smaller envelope and set it on the nightstand. "Your pay. All that's left is the stone and you're done," she explained, then held out her hand with her palm up. Felix was still unwilling to trust that he wasn't going to be shafted, though, and instead grabbed the envelope to check its contents. The woman had a smirk of some sort on her face as she watched the man quickly leaf through the bills within.
It was only when he was satisfied that Felix tucked the money in his bag and set the stone on the nightstand. "Yeah, done. Now you can vanish," he agreed, but as he started to stand the male trainer suddenly felt lightheaded. He heard the woman chuckle a bit as he suddenly found himself having difficulty focusing. "Oh, sorry, but I'm not the one who will be vanishing for a while," he heard the woman say as the room blurred. "You might have done the job, but it was sloppy. It's going to ta... fore... ve aro..." Felix's head pounded and he was finding it hard to hear whatever his contact had been saying. The last thing he was aware of was him falling over as the room was swallowed by darkness.
