5 RP posts are required to roll for a wild pokemon encounter. At the mouth of the cave Simon sent out Shedinja in order to use TM #30 Shadow Ball to teach it said move. "Because of your ability I'm going to let you fight a bit and see how we go okay?" Once again no words, not yet, but a feeling of affirmation. With that they entered the cavern before running into a wild Jynx. Like he said Simon sent out Shedinja, lower leveled but next to impossible to hit.

Shedinja had done great against single battles however when this last ice bear had been defeated several more appeared. Looking around Simon realized that they were surrounded by more Cubchoo. Thinking on it he decided to go ahead and use Greninja to battle these several ice Pokemon. Sending out Kadabra first Simon would switch him out for Greninja.

After healing Greninja up Simon frowned, there never seemed to be an ending to the amount of hordes that lived in these caves. Luckily this time there was a different type of Pokemon, the pre-evolved form of Jynx that he had battled before. They were called "Smoochum the kiss Pokemon. Smoochum actively runs about, but also falls quite often. Whenever the chance arrives, it will look for its reflection to make sure its face hasn't become dirty." Kadabra then Greninja and in the end a Pokeball for one of these ladies.

Catching the new Pokeball Simon thanked Greninja, healing him up. As the ball vanished he returned Kadabra as well. There was a snort behind him and he turned to see another ice Pokemon. "Piloswine the swine Pokemon. Piloswine is covered by a thick coat of long hair that enables it to endure the freezing cold. This Pokemon uses its tusks to dig up food that has been buried under ice." Sending Shedinja out they would try out it in battle again.

Congratulating Shedinja he returned the ghost Pokemon before walking back towards the exit of the caves. Pausing at the opening Simon checked if he could use the Pokenav to switch Pokemon out in the field. Finding he couldn't he shrugged, it wasn't like it was a long trek to reach the Pokecenter, three to five steps and he was back in Snowbelle. Putting the device away Simon started back towards the Pokecenter.

This was the perfect place for him to train and get stronger and when he was ready, after evolving, Simon had a dusk stone. Continuing down the cold path Simon smiled at how happy Litwick was.
