Terrence groaned, another stinking cave! Really? He was seriously not a fan of caves, he honestly hoped that he could avoid any caves if he could. However, that didn't seem to be possible at the moment. He pursed his lips, biting the inside of his cheeks. Caves, he would definitely avoid them in the future if that was possible. However, that wasn't possible at the moment. It was times like this that he regretted that he left Ezra behind like he did. He really wished that he had not been foolish as to go on his own. What was he supposed to do though? Sighing, he walked forwards wanting to get this over with as fast as possible. With that, he made his way as fast as possible through the cave.

Jas gave a low rumble in complaint as he landed outside the cave, casting a glance to Ajicka as she got off. She only scoffed in return, though. "What? Don't tell me you're out of shape already," she chastised. He protested and she reached over to pat his muzzle, calming him down and earning a bump of affection, before she recalled him. She glanced over at ZK when she realized he had been watching the whole thing, his arms crossed over his chest. "... What?" she demanded, frowning.
He shrugged. "Nothing," he replied, dropping his arms to his side, "Anyway, why are we here?" he asked, looking around. "To get a pokemon," she answered, pulling out her communicator as she started into the cave. She could hear ZK growl -- literally, like in his pokemon form's voice -- but ignored it as she opened up a message that was, surprisingly, from Rose. Or at least, Rose's phone. "Another one?" the pokemon queried, following after her. "Mhm. I'll need Fritz but after this I can probably get my last pokemon myself. You still have to decide who to narrow your team down to, though," she added absently as they wandered further in, typing a response to her friend as she went.

The two of them made it fairly far into the cave, occasionally encountering wild pokemon, but either brushing them aside or successfully scaring them off with an occasional appearance from Jas, or even ZK's illusions. It was funny, how he actually used them on occasion, given his whole 'anti-pokemon' thing, but Ajicka decided not to comment, for now. Not because she didn't want to, but because she didn't want him to A] stop, or B] throw a fit and refuse to help get her her pokemon. Of course she could just take her pokemon back and do it herself, but that sort of defeated the purpose of what she was trying to do here.
A little ways in, they finally found what they were looking for-- a horde of Durant. Still pretty strong, but Fritz was able to quickly take them out with a Heat Wave attack, and Ajicka barely caught the weakest one. She was trying to give herself a challenge, after all-- back when she was preparing for the E4, she wanted the best of the best, the strongest she could get, so that she could get where she wanted to be sooner. Now, though, she wanted her pokemon to start at about the same spot, and give herself room to grow and determine their movesets. After all, she had put thought into this team, but she hadn't gone through everything. She didn't have their moves selectively planned and detailed thoroughly just yet. She was sort of winging it, at least in the beginning. It would give her more to do while ZK was training up his team, and make things a little more difficult with the chance of improvisation.

Tossing the recently caught pokeball up in the air and catching it a few times, Ajicka pulled out her communicator. She had felt a message come through and was now keeping an eye out for wild pokemon. While reading through Fynx's response, she turned and headed back towards the entrance of the cave. "So where are we going next?" ZK drawled sarcastically as he recalled the Fritz. She cast a vaguely annoyed glance in his direction, but her expression remained otherwise the same-- as resting b***h face as you could imagine on a young adult woman. "I don't know. I'm still deciding for sure what other pokemon I want... a new region opened up and one they have there seems pretty interesting. We could go there... or you could figure out your team and start training to take on a region yourself," she remarked offhandedly. ZK blinked a few times, then looked away uncertainly. "You want me to take on a region...?" he muttered.
"You're the one that wants to be a pokemon trainer, not a pokemon," she replied absently, already typing a response to her friend's pokemon. What the hell had Rose even been doing this whole time....

Ajicka wasn't really sure why, but Rose being so stagnant in her journey was bothering her. Like she wanted her to be further ahead, or more motivated. Maybe she was just looking for someone to battle, or maybe she didn't want to feel so far ahead in where she was at. Honestly, it was probably a mix of the two. She wanted a challenge, someone to rival up against. Sure, she was helping ZK here, and maybe he would rise up to it, but that wasn't all too likely, and she wasn't getting her hopes up that he would provide any sort of challenge.
She rolled Durant's pokeball in her hand as she looked down, before shaking her head. She really did need to figure out what her movesets were and what her third pokemon would be. She should just.... focus on what was in front of her. What she could actually control. So what if she didn't have someone to actually challenge her? It was fine. She could challenge herself.
"We'll head to Johto I guess. I already have one badge there, so I can take on the second gym while you figure out your team. You could always do a team of dark pokemon, if you want. Murkrow and Pancham are both dark types," she remarked as she put the pokeball away. ZK shot her a glance. "That's two," he pointed out slowly. "Yeah well, we can catch you a third if you want. Or you could just keep one of the other two to round it out. Try putting some thought into this, I want you to take it seriously," she instructed. He frowned at her, clearly inclined to retort with a "Why", but decided not to. She made it pretty clear that she was going to make him make a choice, and he figured this was just.... more of that. Whatever.

Ajicka stepped out of the cave and looked up at a cloudy gray sky. She sighed and reached back for Jas' pokeball, releasing the large lizard pokemon who immediately grinned and leaned down to bump her with his head. She reached up, petting his snout, and glanced over as JR joined. "Ready?" she asked, moving over as Jas leaned down to let her on his back. The zoroark grunted in acknowledgement and climbed on after her.
With them both settled, Jas straightened up, and his large wings stretched before beating down to lift them off. The clouds stretched out for miles, and darkened ahead of them, but Ajicka wasn't worried. Even if a storm rose to met them, Jas was so far beyond the need to worry about his tail. Any moisture would evaporate from the powerful flames around him before they could do any damage.
Her eyes narrowed, though, as she noticed a spark flash up ahead. At first, she thought it was just lightening, but as her eyes scanned the horizon, she noticed another one.
