Finally arriving at the Pokemon Village it was just as Simon pictured, like the daycare center and Safari Zone wrapped up into one. There was a lot of tall grass, flowers and trees for Pokemon to play in. Along the path there was also a turned over garbage can but it wasn't out of place as there was a Trubbish playing around in the muck. There was also now a good sized pond where water Pokemon could play together. There was also a house as well but Simon knew it was more for the Ghost Pokemon around here to 'haunt' as well for any other Pokemon to escape the rain when it did rain to hide out. Kneeling in front of a Zoroark combing the fur was Nita. Coming up quickly but quietly he smiled at the pair, "Hey sis." Nita looked up and saw him, smiling wide before hugging him. The Zoroark stretched out happily before hurrying off. Simon learned that she was here making sure that the Pokemon were okay and happy. He learned that she was part of the crew that built the house and made the pond. Following her over to where she had made camp so they could relax and talk a bit.

After sharing some sandwiches Simon asked Nita why she was here now. "There's been rumors that a gang has been hanging out around here harassing the Pokemon. I came to make sure that when they come back I'll be here to deal with them." There was a laugh coming across from the field and they both stood up to see a trio of thugs standing there. "Someone like you, defeat us?" Simon told Nita he'd deal with the thugs. The leader cracked his knuckles and stepped forward. "No way either one of you will defeat any of us," he said throwing out his first Pokemon, Durant. Simon sent out Squirtle then switched him out for Dusknoir.

The thug growled as Durant fainted but seeing the ghost Pokemon he sent out, "Zangoose the cat ferret Pokemon. Zangoose usually stays on all fours, but when angered, it gets up on its hind legs and extends its claws. This Pokemon shares a bitter rivalry with Seviper that dates back over generations." It was actually a smart move as the ghost move Dusknoir knew wouldn't effect the normal Pokemon. However Dusknoir knew an assortment of moves and used the icy attack of blizzard. Soon the normal Pokemon fainted.

The thug's last Pokemon was a surprise to both Nita and Simon as it was a legendary Pokemon. "Meloetta the melody Pokemon. Its melodies are sung with a special vocalization method that can control the feelings of those who hear it." "Why would you want to use such a powerfully emotional Pokemon for evil?" Nita asked as the thug shook his head at her, "I can do whatever I want with my Pokemon and today it is defeat your friend here. Meloetta use acrobatics!" Since the musical Pokemon wasn't holding anything the attack did double the damage but Dusknoir wouldn't have it and fought back winning the battle.

The second of the gang members stepped forward a toothpick in the corner of his mouth. "You beat the boss, normally you take on us goons first than the boss but not here. He's the boss because he earned our respect and I wont let you win that easily." Once again Simon had Squirtle by his legs watching but this time he sent Greninja out to take this goon on. This was the first time Nita had seen that his starter fully evolved and she squeezed Simon's elbow happily. The second nameless goon sent out Kricketune to do battle.

Returning the bug Pokemon the thug was surprised that the dark Pokemon defeated it. Of course the water moves were normal damage against Kricketune. To match the typing the next Pokemon that the thug sent out Absol. Taking the first hit Absol powered up with sword's dance the horn on its head sharpened as well as the one it had for a tail. Rushing forward it reared up using night slash which if Dusknoir was out would have been devestating but Greninja took it and fired a blast right back at it knocking it out.

With his next Pokemon the thug actually had a plan, allowing his steel Pokemon to get defeated he instead used it to lower Greninja's special defense. There was a hollow gong sound as the Hydro Pump hit the side of Bronzong but it took it using the arms to scrape the side of its body. The loud sound caused Simon and Nita to wince along with lowering Greninja's special defense by a great amount. Shaking his head to clear his mind Greninja fired off another Hydro Pump to knock the floating Pokemon down to the ground. Returning it the thug looked over to the side where the leader was watching. Spitting out the toothpick he sent out his final Pokemon.

Luckily for Simon this guy's last Pokemon was Camerupt and the super effective hydro pump knocked it out in one hit. Growling at Simon the punk returned his Pokemon. "You got super lucky punk, if you kept using your damned ghost Pokemon I would have won." "Tough, I'll use any of my team that I want." Squirtle nodded then started to glow causing Nita to gasp as Squirtle evolved into, "Wartortle the turtle Pokemon. Its tail is large and covered with a rich, thick fur. The tail becomes increasingly deeper in color as Wartortle ages. The scratches on its shell are evidence of this Pokemon's toughness as a battler." Smiling Simon returned the newly evolve Pokemon along with healing up Greninja. The last thug stepped up cracking his knuckles.

The final gang member placed his hand on the second goon's shoulder before stepping forward. This time Simon sent out Sonia to watch the battle and decided to let Noivern take over this time. His trio of powerful Pokemon came to a pass as Noivern hovered there in the air as the thug did something else sending out the little Pokemon Clefairy. The bad news was that half of Noivern's attacks were now useless. To add to the pain Clefairy continued to heal itself up with several moonlights and since it was night by now the moon in the sky increased the health it gained back.

Frowning at the defeat of his stronger typing against the flying dragon. The next Pokemon once again had the advantage so Simon needed to make sure they defeated it before it could use a rock type move. This Pokemon was "Sudowoodo the imitation Pokemon. Sudowoodo camouflages itself as a tree to avoid being attacked by enemies. However, because its hands remain green throughout the year, the Pokemon is easily identified as a fake during the winter." If Greninja was still out it would have been a quick round but since normal and flying weren't effective Simon had Noivern use the dragon attack, powered up by the dragon fang around his neck.

Although he lost that round the thug seemed happy that Simon wasn't switching out Noivern for Greninja as he returned his Pokemon and sent out "Rhyhorn the spikes Pokemon. Strong, but not too bright, this Pokemon can shatter even a skyscraper with its charging tackles." The first move it did was Rock blast, a super effect rock move that hurled four boulders at Noivern smashing into him. Almost dipping to the ground Noivern shook it off and fired off another dragon pulse. The next move was bulldozer which wasn't actually a rock move but ground type which didn't effect the flying Noivern. Two more dragon pulses later and Rhyhorn was knocked out.

The final Pokemon was one that most thugs had, "Koffing the poison gas Pokemon. Koffing embodies toxic substances. it mixes the toxins with raw garbage to set off a chemical reaction that results in a terrible powerful poison gas. This higher the temperature the more gas is concocted by this Pokemon." The goon smacked his head forgetting to give his Pokemon a berry when belch failed. Flapping his wings hard a powerful blast of air sent Koffing smashing back into a tree. Cursing he returned the Koffing and looked at his boss. "Sorry boss I failed ya." "Yeah now get out of here," Nita called out as they glared at him and stepped forward but the boss called them back. "We lost, we leave," he said walking away. The other two glared at Simon then followed him out. "That was close, thank you Simon.""Any time sis," he said healing up Noivern.
