Mini Team Mission - A Mauvillous Heist

[Requiem of Whyspers]

It took a while for Lykas to find his way to Mauville City. He'd had to make a pit stop in Lilycove in order to acquire a nice suit to wear. His usual attire wasn't nearly classy enough for a place like the Game Corner so he'd commandeered a new suit, a dark fuschia one with black accents. Along with the suit, he'd donned a pair of thick, black framed glasses in a fairly stylish design and black dress shoes.

"I think I look like someone who belongs in a casino." He said to himself as he approached Sub with Mykel behind him. "I hope it doesn't stop me from getting through the front doors that I'm fifteen." I might just have to break the doors down." He said with a small, obviously psychotic laugh. He was kind of hoping for the problems.

Aria would finally stumble in behind Sub and Lykas, her Noivern screeching in midair as it swooped back high in the sky. The Flying Dragon type would hold position, in an effort to provide some sort of scout presence for the group. "Okay, I'm a little out of practice. We have fake ID now? What's mine say?" The confused wash-out piped up with, scanning the Game Corner and area. Today was gonna be interesting for sure.

Lykas accepted the card when Sub handed it to him and examined it closely. "Not too fond of the name but I won't argue too much if the job's easier with it." He said in response to the name printed on the card.

"Ya, ya, I gotcha." He finally said when Sub told him not to break character. "Who better to pull a whole new personality out of their a** than me?" He asked as he cleared his throat.

The newly minted Cammy would quickly look over the card, noting down the small details before pausing on the age. "Sub, if you weren't the one running this place, I would backhand you for making me older than Lykas." Listening to the order for a Sevii Island accent, Aria began to piece together what she could remember of their accent. Well, this accent was gonna be a disaster to hold, but if Reno could hold that stupid accent of his, she could do this. "Alright. Noice. Okay. Tryin' hard ta sound loike I might be from Sevii. How am I doin'? Noice ta meet ya. Name's Cammy." Aria would begin her attempt to speak out her accent, finally feeling out something that sounded foreign enough to fool anyone who didn't know the area too terribly well.

Cammy, having already pieced together a personality based off of her odd choice in accent, decided that now was as good an opportunity as ever to start acting like it. "Huh. Standin' ona soapbox. Lil' on the nose, ain't it?" The female quipped, staring quizzically at the advertisement for the Game Corner. Well, it was about time to start looking nice, maybe flirting a bit with the men here. But she was NOT doing anything more, especially with the males. Being committed and gay kinda killed any need for those sorts of things. Well, the Mauvilltini looked good at least.

Considering that he'd grown up in Kanto, Lykas was familiar with many of the various accents of the region, however, he was not able to effective pull of any of them to a believable extent(he didn't seem to realize that he had one so trying to make it sound like he had one only made it worse). So, opting out of the forced accent prospect, he waltzed into the Game Corner as if he were made to be there. "I'll have a Mauvilltini, if you're giving them away. Why not enjoy a drink on the house while I find a comfortable place to try and...expand my pockets." He said calmly, though, he wasn't going to be waiting to much longer before he actually got said drink. Alcohol wasn't something he disliked but he wasn't going to hunt for it under normal circumstances. Here? They were giving it away for free. At least once. Why not enjoy it?

Once he was sure Sub and Aria had made it inside without too much hassle, he found his way to a machine and settled in, striking up a conversation with the person at the machine next to him. "Win anything yet?" He asked, politely. It was only idle chatter but if he was going to be legitimately gambling, he wanted to know how well the machine he was about to play on had been paying out so far.

Camira would offer a forced, sweet smile as she looked to the young man. "Aw, yer sweet. Now, you get me a drink an'all go to the table fer some Blackjack. That sound noice?" The 'older woman' told the younger man, quietly removing his arm as she began to walk to the card table she could see, adding a little extra swing to her hips for emphasis. Never knew when a drooling idiot would be good for a distraction.

"Hmmm. Sounds like someone ought to be hitting something soon, don't ya think?" Lykas asked politely, surreptitiously swiping a few coins with a few prehensile strands of "hair". The boy's sentient hair tentacles quickly and quietly transferred a half-dozen coins from Lykas' neighbor's cup into the hybrid's pocket before the man had a chance to notice.

Removing one of the coins from his pocket and inserting it into the machine, Lykas began to play calmly in order to not arouse suspicion. What he'd taken should be just enough to get a half decent feeling on the odds of winning on this machine. If it was good, he'd "acquire" a few more coins and continue playing until he hit a decent enough payout to play on that.

He knew he needed to blend in as best he could for now. He'd have to win to play considering he hadn't brought any money of his own to start playing on. He had honestly planned to simply stroll in, locate the cash office and liberate of that cold, hard coinage without wasting time on the machines.

Cammy would calmly step between the two men before separating them, taking a huff of breath before releasing it just as quickly. She was quick to speak now that she had hopefully made the young man calm down some. "No hittin' below the belt, no eye gougin', go." She quickly blurted out, backing out from between the two men with a few tokens that had been stored in their breast pockets. Might as well borrow something in case there wasn't a winner so much as both were thrown out. Man, this being another person thing was fun.
