The Road to Snagem...
Where in the World is Snagem?
Kyrie stares at the spot where the Claydol was, then down at the stuff it left. Her brain seems to slowly register everything infront of her, but once it's in she lets out a joyous squeel. "I'm in! Heck yeah, come on out Hunter!" she almost yips, letting her new Houndour out of it's pokeball. "Hey little buddy, let me fix you up, okay?" Hunter stares at her, eyeing her up suspiciously. She holds out her hand, letting the spooked Pokemon get her scent. After a moment of sniffing and snorting Hunter yips, wagging his nubby tail so hard his rump wiggles with it. He's obviously pained by his actions but happy to meet his new friend. "Good boy, Hunter! Okay, hold still, this is only gonna sting for a second.." She quickly sprays one of the potions on his cuts and bruises. Hunter grits his teeth, his ears flattening for a moment. "Hoouu.." He wimpers. When the pain fades he perks back up, barking happily.
"Okay Hunter, wanna get a little training in before we head back home?" Kyrie asks as she stands back up. Hunter drops his chest to the ground and wiggles his rump more, yipping happily. "Doour! Dooouuuur!" "Alright little man, lets go training!

The two misfits stay in the forest they met, hopping between practicing moves on trees and fighting the occasion wild Pokemon. Nearly finished, Hunter catches wind of a strange scent and starts freaking out.
"Houn houn! Hooun-DOOOOUUUUURRR!" He howls, taking off after the scent. "Holy crap you can howl.. Oh wait up!" Kyrie squawks, running after the vehement Houndour.
The chase was short, but completely worth it. As Kyrie caught up to Hunter, she understood why he lost it. About 30 feet ahead of them was a gold and brown Pokemon with it's back facing them. She grinned, moving up to it with Hunter in tow. They were about fifteen feet away when it rolls over and opens it's pale pink eyes.
"OHMYGOD HUNTER USE BEAT UP QUICK!" Kyrie screeches. Hunter jumps in surprise but listens, closing the gap and pouncing on the half-asleep Poochyena. All of his frantic attacks hit his opponent but they didn't knock her out. The Poochyena growled and kicked up, Sucker Punch-ing Hunter in the chin. Hunter yelps, jerking away. The Poochyena ran back a few feet, huffing in agitation. "Ember!" "Hou!"
Hunter darts towards the Poochyena's rump and spits a gout of flame at her side. The Poochyena jerks, the flame only catching her tail as she jumps at Hunter and tackles him. "Hunter, you know what to do!" Kyrie calls, watching the Poochyena pin him down. Hunter growls and spits another gout of flame into the Poochyenas face. The Poochyena howls, skittering off of Hunter in a flurry of whimpers and yips. As the Poochyena shakes her head and cries Kyrie whips out a pokeball and throws it, tagging the wild pokemon on the back.
Shake.
Shake.
Shake.
"YES! SHE'S MINE!" Kyrie screeches, running up to the pokeball and tackling it. She kisses the ball before letting the Poochyena out.
She blinks, stares at Kyrie for a moment, then at Hunter. "... Yena?" She barks, confused. "Hey, my name's Kyrie. That's Hunter. Do you like the name Rose?" Pochyena blinks, staring at Kyrie more before suddening yipping happily. "Alrightie Rose, welcome to the team." She reaches out and pats Rose on the head, using her other hand to pull out a potion. "This might sting, but only for a second!" She warns, suddenly spraying Rose's wounds. Rose lets out a yelp and bites down on Kyrie's hand, wide-eyed and fluffy-tailed.
Kyrie's eyes widen and she bites her lip, putting the empty potion in her bag. "I-i-i-it's okay Rose. Leeeeet go. It's ooookahhhhhy." After a minute Rose lets go and barks happily, her tongue lolling out. Kyrie brings her wounded hand to her chest. "So.. wanna train on the way home?"
And they did.

They traveled for a while, battling any Pokemon that got in their way. The three were becoming fast friends, the two Pokemon growing a little closer than that. After a stop at the Cherrygrove City Pokemon Center they made the closest thing to a b-line towards Mount Silver, avoiding wild Pokemon and trainers alike. It took hours, but eventually the trio made it to Silver Town. Staying on the outskirts, they make it to the mouth of Silver Cave, entrance to the mountain...
"Alright, I've never been in here but I've heard of it." Kyrie murmurs, smiling down at her Pokemon. "But I do know that it's totally tough in there! I don't know if you guys can handle it yet. I don't want you guys getting really hurt, soo.." As she speaks she pulls out two Pokeballs. "Return." With that, she hides the Pokeballs under her hat and gets her hoverboard set up.
Gingerly she steps on, quietly whispering words of encouragement to herself before suddenly jetting off with a surprised squeal. "Holy hell this is faster than I thought!" She yips, holding on to her hat with one hand and her SNAG with the other. Dutifully she shifts her eyes between scanning her map and scanning the path in front of her. Her heart flutters with excitement as she draws closer to her destination. Her attention was drawn to her map and as she looks up after a while of scanning she lets out a screech.
"LOOK OUT LITTLE GREEN THING!"
With a thud and a lot of scraping she flies off of her hoverboard and rolls to a stop, her hat and pokeballs falling off in the process. A few feet away a very angry Larvitar tries to get it's head straight. Kyrie lets out a soft groan and slowly gets up, whining as the soon to form bruise on her back stretches. It takes the two a minute to get up, once they're both relatively stable the Larvitar lets out an angry cry. "Taarr!"
Before Kyrie can react a delayed pop-pop echos, Hunter and Rose appearing in front of her.

"Wait, guys, n-" before she can finish the two spring in to action, Rose tackles the Larvitar and rolls out of the way in time for Hunter to start Beating it Up. The Larvitar Screeches in response causing the duo to skitter away yelping. There was a back and forth between the three, the heavier blows being landed on Hunter and Rose. During a short staring match Kyrie noticed it. 'That stupid rock rat laid down Stealth Rock!' she thought to herself, her eyes widening as her Pokemon got ready to attack again.
"Rose, Hunter, no!" She cried, darting past them as quickly as she could. She let out a screech as the Stealth Rock activated. Her clothes were ripped at, torso scratched, and a nasty cut started welling blood from her right cheek to just above the inner corner of her left eyebrow. "Ooow.." She whimpered, falling to her knees before suddenly falling face-first into the rock.
The Larvitar stared at Kyrie as she fell, unable to understand why she took the blow for the Pokemon. Hunter and Rose took the opportunity to Howl in unison and charge, bouncing back and forth with attacks until their opponent finally collapsed. They Howled in victory before running back to Kyrie and curling up around her protectively.

After what felt like forever to Hunter and Rose, Kyrie finally woke up. They nuzzled and licked her until she was on two feet, even being so kind as to bring over her board, her hat, and their Pokeballs. It took a few minutes but eventually she got everything together and climbed back on to her board. This time around her travel was much slower, much more careful, and after what she thought was about an hour and a half she found herself at the base of a waterfall.
"Is this stupid thing broken..?" Kyrie grumbles, tapping the screen agitatedly. "No, it couldn't be. Hidden entrances are only in movies..." She trails off, slowly drifting towards the torrent of water. She tried to peak around the back of it, only catching a few glimpses of what was, or wasn't, hidden. After a few moments of debate, she moves in front of the waterfall and takes a deep breath.
"One... Two... Three!"
With a splash and a lot of spluttering Kyrie pushes through the waterfall and into the entrance to the Snagem Headquarters.
