"I gotta check in with mom for a bit. She's been really stressed out since Sasha left and I haven't been at the academy for a few hours."

Eric sighed and got up.
"Alright. But hurry back afterwards."

"I'll walk with you to the cafeteria and then i'll go see mom."

Liya laughed pulling Kal outside with her.
"Common! Let's play!"
Kal looked at Liya with a fearful look. She was motionless, except her breathing.
"You do know what playing is, right?"
Kal softly shook her head no.
Liya looked around and saw a apple.
"Hey! Lets get the apple. First one gets to eat it!" Liya laughs and starts to climb up the tree.
Kal blinked.

Eric walked out of the academy and sat down watching Liya and Kal.

Liya laughed as she almost was able to reach the apple.
Kal blinked and teleported onto the tree and sat on the branch.
Eric blinked and rubbed his eyes. The new girl teleported.
Liya lost her grip and started to fall off the tree after she saw Kal on the branch.
Kal immediately locked her knees on the branch and caught Liya with both hands while dangling upside down.
Liya was gasping for breath as Kal caught her hands. She let go with one and grabbed the branch and pulled up.
"I almost fell!"
Kal waited for Liya to be up on the branch before she pointed at Eric.
"not a chance. Eric would have caught you."

IN that moment, Eric was under them.
"Hey you two. Need a hand down?"
"Yes please!" Liya slowly climbed down into Eric's arms and then sat on his shoulder.
"and what about you, young one?"
Kal hefted herself back on the branch and started to climb higher.
"Oh boy....she's a climber..." Eric sighed.
"Where'd you meet her?"
"Infirmary hiding behind Jaster."

Eric looked up watching Kal climb higher
"huh..."

Eric hopped into the tree and started to climb after the new girl.
"Hey. Its ok. I won't hurt you"
Kal kept climbing, yet faster now as she leaped from branch to branch climbing.
"Eric, she knew your name." Liya shouted.
"Huh?" Eric looked down at Liya.
"You sure?"
"Very!"

The girl stopped. She was at the very top of the tree. She was looking around.
Eric caught up to the girl.
"Hey! How do you know my name?!"
The girl whimpered as she slowly inched out onto a thin branch.
Eric climbed out and held onto the branch.
"Come on, your gonna get hurt."

The branch started to break

"Common! Hurry!"
The girl looked between Eric and the area around her.
"Uh....sorry Eric. I can't....you already freaked out....such...mean...words"

"Kalena!!!?" Eric said in shock before the branch broke under them. He fell and hit the ground.

Kal breathed hard as she fell onto Eric and started to try to run off.
Eric looked at the grass and made some tall grass grow around Kal.
Kal whimpered looking around as the grass was around her.
"Please no!" she whimpered crouching down as electricity started to spark around her.

And at the sound of the electrical crack a sudden small ringing sound rang out as the growing grass that attempted to encircle Kal was quite literally cut very short by a shaggy black haired teenager who jumped down among the very same tree the two fell from; The teen who seemed to be a enigma to them due to their first ever time meeting him was currently with his free hand was brushing the freshly sliced grass from his tan looking pants as his right hand was full at the moment as he was holding a vicious looking Keyblade that seemed to radiate a knawing hunger for destruction.

Once the teen finished brushing his pants off which was a very quick sequence he point his Keyblade at Eric before stating.”I think she had quite enough of you chasing her down like a wolf.”The teen state as his voice was smooth like obsidian as suddenly let go of the Keyblade he was holding causing it fall downward before it was stopped and was hovering an inch below the palm of his hand by a unseen force and was spinning rapids clockwise because of it.”Rapax Rigentibus Verrunt.”* The masked teen chanted as large portions of his Keyblade were suddenly obsessed in a harsh serrated black ice and with no warning swung his hand in Eric's direction causing the hovering ice encased Keyblade to shoot forward at Eric bouncing back to the masked teens right hand should it hit or miss, but regardless the moment the ice encased Keyblade were to have made contact with something it would leave behind a large splash of fresh black jagged ice and would effectively weigh down and slow a target down if they were to be hit the Blade; The masked teen would effectively do this attack around eight more times before catching the Keyblade in his hand freshly shaven the ice that encased it briefly all the while keep his back on front Kal while keeping a stone face expression of ampthy.

Kal looked up at the masked guy. She saw his keyblade and tilted her head.
"That's a dark keyblade, right sir?"

Liya watched what was going on.
"Hey Eric. Maybe you should back off the girl."
Eric bit his lip and looked down at Liya.
"but....she's....family."
"Is she?"

Kal looked up at the masked man with trusting eyes.

The teen continued the gaze at the other teenager who dodged his Keyblade to which the young girl of whom he was guarding for questioned of to which he replied.”No, It's Heartbreak.”He merely said as his remained looking at the duo in front of him as he then said.”Frigidae Pallium.”*As he mearly flicked his Keyblade to the side causing it to Coat itself in that sharp jagged black ice again but instead of tossing it like he did so before he flipped the handle of Keyblade causing his Keyblade to aim forward.”Well, i warned you.”The teen stated as he thrusted the Keyblade into the ground as he once again spoke.”Sonitus Procellae.”*The moment he recited the spell a dark electrical bolt traveled from his hand and downward his Keyblade and eventually into the ground to of which everyone would felt a brief rumble underneath them as a sudden explosion of black jagged ice erupted outward from infront of the grounded Key blade and in the direction of Eric and also Lita since the teen was well aware the that she would try to grab the girl if he were to have focused on Eric so this was the better option; Onve the explosion would settle everyone would a large eight foot tall wall of black jagged ice in Eric and Lisa's way as the attack doubles as a wall to separate them from each other, though Eric probably had a chance to jump over the wall at the risk hurting himself in the process due to the jagged sharp edges of the black ice the masks teen would make as he would then pull he Keyblade out from the disrupted ground and would give it a quick flick to shack the clinging dirt off.

Eric stopped in front of the ice wall this time.

Liya started to panic
"Ice....so much....ice."

"Liya! You gotta calm down, its ok!" Eric said
"Im just over here"

Liya backed up until she felt the cold embrace of the ice behind her. She started to shiver, shivering so much, she started to lose control surrounding herself in flames and started to bounce off the walls.



Kal looked up at the man still
"Heart....break? Did...someone hurt you....in the past?"

Liya whined trying not to scream as she continued to bounce around.
She bounced out of the ice walls and was going out of control towards the man and Kal.

Kal blinked then started to run away.
""NO no no no no" she said. A key pendant glew under her shirt. She immediately started to use light and fly up.
"ahh!! what's happening!?"

Liya ran into Kal in mid air.

Both Liya and Kal hit the ground hard.

Liya rubbed her head and calmed down,
"Im out..."
Kal was in a daze.

Sasha sat outside while sipping tea.
"Things been.....eerily...quiet...since she...." she sighed looking down now.

Kalena sat next to Sasha on the bench. She wasn't sure if Sasha could hear or see her, since she was a spirit and such.
"I know, Sasha. Its hard for me too. No one can hear me...no one can see me. Its....miserable. I don't understand why Kingdom Hearts hasn't taken me yet..."

Sasha looked ahead while putting the cup exactly where ghost Kalena was sitting and took out a old photo of her, Misty, and a younger Kalena, all smiling. She held the picture against her chest and tried to not cry.

Eric carried Liya and Kal outside, then saw Sasha and put the two down.
"Hey Sasha. "

Sasha looked up at Eric, she was on the verge of tears.

Eric sighed and hugged her.
"I know. I miss her too. I can't believe the last words I said to her...I think I broke her."

Sasha sighed.
"She was hurt, but if she really was sad, Kal wouldn't be with us now...or maybe she would have. I...I don't know. Its...its a lot to take in. Its been a few months and its still....hard."

"Just take one day at a time. That's what I have to do too." Eric sighed.
"Kal saw Liya's keyblade and asked to learn more. Kal is becoming less....skiddish...than when she was here the first time with Wraith. Kelina brought her down from the hall of headmasters. Maybe trying to figure out who she is. I hope it doesn't break her."

Sasha nodded.
"I'll be here to heal, of course, if anything goes wrong. Heh.....I remember Shinji trying to teach Kalena when she was new and about Liya's age. Froze the entire academy." Sasha laughed some then sighed.

Eric began to laugh.
"She talked about how embarrassed she was when that happened."

Sasha and Eric continued to talk.


Liya took Kal's arm and took her to the middle of the field.
"Ok, I know you know some magic. Try it on me."

"A..a...are you sure?" Kal seemed worried.

"Mmhmm! Eric and Sasha are keeping watch! I'll be fine! Now common!" she gave a brave smile.

Kal took in a deep breath and fired out a weak ball of lighting from her hands. She fell to a knee and panted.
"its...hard... to put it in a ball"

Liya smiled and helped Kal up.
"Ok, lets practice breathing then."

In the shadows outside in the courtyard stood and figure hidden in with the darkness completely in the blind spot of everyone it could smell its pray and using the darkness as cover it stalked from far away. to far to see its pray but close enough to smell it.

it watched closely and when everyone was looking away all focused on each other it moved across the ground fast as a blur but only looked like a moving shadow to those who could catch it and when it found its pray it jumped out of the shadow and attacked.

it jumped out behind Kal and moved down swiftly biting her arm not hard enough to break skin but firm enough to leave a mark and be known. its eyes started to glow purple as it had the look of satisfaction from catching its pray as the darkness came off him there stood Kei looking older with a new look but the same at the same time. it was only after showing her arm a few times did kei look down to see it wasn't kalena it was some kid he had never seen before and he looked puzzled with his mouth still around her arm "wait your not her. you smell and taste like her but you are not her. who are you?" he asked muffled with her arm in his mouth.

Kal looked at Kei in shock. She was about to punch him but decided that wouldn't be a suitable action.
"I...taste....like....who are you meaning?"

She looks at Liya and then to Eric and Sasha.
"Is this a normal greeting? To....um..." she looked at Kei

Eric stood up and walked to them.
"Is he hurting you, Kal?"

"No."

Eric looked at Kei.
"My grandmother....Headmistress Kalena...died...a few months ago. This is her.." he choked up a little bit then cleared his throat.
"Her descendant"

Kal looked at Kei and bit his arm back, as he bit hers.


"Uhhh…..Kal...what are you doing?" Eric was in shock

Sasha spit her tea out watching Kal bite Kei back.

Kei looked at Kal when she said her name not taking her out of his mouth yet still lost completely when Eric spoke up and told him everything that happen with and it wasn't setting right. he never said a name but somehow this guy knew who he meant and these other 1 seemed way to odd. none of it was setting right but when Kal bite his arm going clear through his barrier like it was nothing the sting made it all click. "no no no no this isn't right something isn't right with all of this" as he said this he let go of her arm and picked her up jumping back while she still held his arm in her mouth and lifted up his hand as 2 keybalde appeared around him and started spinning in a circle around him.

as they spun he opened up a portal behind him grabbing Kal with his free hand as he looked between eric and sasha making sure none of them made a move. he was going to get this girl to safety away from whatever it was going on here.

Kal gave a small yelp as Kei picked her up. She released her grip from his arm.

She looked up at the blades Kei was wielding in his other hand mystified.
"So pretty!"

"What the hell is he doing!" Sasha said yet remained sitting. She wasn't sure what Kei would do to Kal.
"Don't hurt her! Please!"

Eric growled.
"Don't you take her from here!"
He looked like he was fighting back tears while also taking control of his mind. He wasn't sure what Kei was gonna do.

Liya looked up and looked at Kei then Kal.
"Hey Kal. You ok?"

"mmhmmm" Kal replied.





DK crash landed not too far from what was going on.
She breathed hard while holding her breath to not scream in pain. Her keyblade armor dissolved.

Sasha immediately got up and ran to Dk.

DK breathed hard.
"Kelina….did it again. Get it out of me."

Sasha looked around.
"Its in deep, so close to your heart."
