This island resides in the very center of the chain formed for the dragons. It's a place of healing. All of the elements are found here, each with it's own cavern system. Deep under the central lagoon, though, is a place for true healing to take place.
Sasha lives here, daughter to the last true Healing dragon and HellBane BlackHeart (retired dragon king). Her sensitive and soft nature is perfect for those in pain and in need of healing.

Sasha was laying on the beach, curled up in her dragon form as the sun warmed her scales. She looked much like the crystals this island was named for; rainbowed iridescent scales glittering in the light, unmarred but for the scars she carried and the faded Mating Mark from Raid. At one point, both she and her father had despaired her survival. She'd been under constant attacks, one of which had cost Raid his life. If it hadn't been for Lao and Ebony, she probably wouldn't have survived the last attempt on her life. Too many dragons had seen her as a threat since she was Bane's daughter and only living child. Then there had been the mating attempts, events she'd dreaded until she'd settled here. Now they left her alone except when they were injured. She was fine with that but it did leave her alot of time to think. She was lucky to have come through her trials with her sweet nature still intact and now found herself cherished among the dragons for it. But there were times, like now, that she missed Raid's presence curled up around her...

Sasha eventually stood and stretched, spreading her pale wings before settling them back at her sides as she simply sat and looked around at the island that was now her home. She gave a soft sigh as her gaze moved to the sky above her and the clouds as they drifted slowly by, reminding her of times spent with Raid simply watching the sky like this or flying through the clouds with him beside her. Truthfully, she didn't have much else to think about these days except how alone she seemed to be, even when other dragons came here for healing. When they were here, she simply concentrated on getting them better again, then they were gone on their way, leaving her alone again. They didn't really talk to her much, simply expressed their gratitude for her healing. Only Ebony seemed to spend much time with her anymore. The shadowdragon's brood and mate seeming to forget about her presence entirely. Normally she wouldn't have minded that but she was beginning to hate being so alone all the time. It was making her think of Raid more and more and his absence in her life. Even Bane seemed to have forgotten about her. Her own father. Of course, he'd believed her dead for most of her life, then she'd been in near-constant danger, injured most of the time. She gave another heavier sigh as she turned away from the clouds and headed deeper onto the island that was now her home, considering that she might leave here since everyone seemed to have forgotten about her for the most part. Perhaps if she went somewhere else... As she moved through each of the elemental caves, she knew she wouldn't leave and finally moved back out to the beach around the lagoon to settle in the sand once more. As much as she wanted to leave here to be around others, she knew she couldn't do it. She'd been here and isolated for too long to be able to move comfortably around others again. She curled herself up on the sand and rested her head on her forearms, her wings tucked tightly to her sides as she closed her swirling silver eyes and considered simply staying where she was, going into the rare type of sleep dragons sometimes did where they slept the centuries away, much as Lao had done once. After all, it wasn't as if anyone really needed her much... The island itself could take care of any healing the other dragons needed... She let her mind start to drift into that deep sleep, her body's systems starting to slow down, her scales iridescent luster beginning to face into the almost stone-like appearance that marked a dragon going into that deep centuries-long sleep....

After a long flight Cedric finally saw the Crystal Island he smirked a little in his mind thinking that some of the crystals reminded him of his rare sword. He roared loudly not to scare or frighten, but to heed his arrival and to let his presence be known as not an enemy. He huffs tiredly, after flying to the island to rescue Dancer and the very taxing fight with Memphis then the flight back and then to here, his reserves of energy was depleting fast. He shown no sign of it though, trained by angels since birth he is the epitome of stoic marching. He spots a soft gray/rainbow sparkle on the beach and heads down towards it, spiraling on the air to come in for a soft landing.

Something about that roar started to pull her from the deep sleep she was falling into. She couldn't have said what it was, though. But she did begin to wake. The first sign was that her scales regained their rainbowed iridescent luster that gleamed under the starlight. Then she shifted a bit and shuffled her wings slightly as a small puff of white smoke escaped her nostrils. But it was the sound of him landing nearby that woke her fully, drawing her swirling silver eyes open as she raised and turned her head towards him, blinking a bit at first. She simply reacted on instinct in those first few moments, drawing on the power of the crystals and channeling energy into the exhausted dragon without thought. She finally stood and shook herself a bit, stretching her wings out. In the process she revealed the grayed slashes along her scales that marked terrible injuries from the past as well as the faint silvered Mating Mark from Raid, showing that he'd been dead a long time by now. After shaking the sand from herself, she sat back and wrapped her tail around her legs as she watched him and simply waited to find out what he wanted.

Immediately after landing he felt refreshed and he snorts confused looking over at the rainbow dragon trying to figure it out. "My name is Cedric, I was sent here to find Sasha. I presume that is you? There has been...an incident which requires your talents of healing. A shifter's magic was...molested and something is wrong." He snorts shaking his head and sending white smoke out. He stands tall perching on his hand legs as his tail wraps around his claws as well. He waits for her to assess him and curls his wings about his neck.

Sasha considered him for a moment then looked back at the island behind her, unsure if she should leave. Admittedly, she'd thought about doing so, but suddenly found herself uncertain about it. She knew there was only one place he could have come from but had to ask anyway as she turned back to him, "Where?" she asked him in a voice that was as soft and sweet as she was, "And who is the shifter?" she added as her front legs shifted nervously over his display. She wasn't used to it after all this time, the displaying and posturing other dragons made. They only came here for healing, politely thanked her, then left again.

He dips his head looking at her with one large golden eye. "Vampire Island. Dancer is the shifter. They said you have been here a very long time. That it might be hard to convince you. I dont think so. I think you are in need of a little travel and purpose."He shakes his large golden head and flexes his claws in the sand amused a little by the way the sand feels in his claws. He sniffs the air and grins crookedly showing off his teeth. "The crystals make the air taste better, and that blue color matches my sword. Interesting."He raises a claw and looks at it a moment letting sand fall from his claws, before searing a portion of the sand in front of him turning it into a fused glass sculpture. He grins pleased with a small sparkling crystal statue of a dragon.

She looked in the direction of the island when he said its name and considered again whether or not she should leave despite his words about it. She looked back just in time to see him form the dragon statue and her cheeks picked up a faint red hue when she realized that the statue was of her. But it was who the shifter was that decided her. She knew she couldn't leave Dancer in need if she could help it and stood, spreading her wings, "I will go... But because it is Dancer..." she said softly and turned away from him but looked at him over her shoulder, "And because you have asked it of me," she added, knowing very well that she'd be under his protection because he'd asked her to go. She leapt into the air and caught a warm thermal that helped her rise higher into the air. She proved her flying capabilities as she literally spun on a wingtip then took off for the island, confident he'd follow her.

He leaped into the air and rode the same thermals as she did quickly catching with her. "Impressive flying, and how do you know Dancer? I havent been on the island very long and am still learning who is who basically."

Sasha let him catch up to her and glanced at him briefly, 'It's quite simple. I grew up on the island. I knew Dancer as a small boy. But after Raid-' she still had trouble saying his name, even after all this time, 'After my mate died, I came here and have been here ever since,' she told him simply then stretched her wings a bit more, showing him her true speed as she hurried on ahead of him.

Sasha landed on the beach, still a little 'miffed' over Michael's high-handed ways. She settled her wings at her back and looked over the island, noting that no one else was here. As usual. She gave a soft sigh and checked each of the caverns anyway, making sure they were still ready for any dragons that arrived in need of healing. That done, she moved to her own cave and looked it over for a long moment, not too sure what Cedric would think of it. It was spacious and held numerous 'rooms' to it, everything scented with the herbs she used on occasion. She shook her head and moved to re-light the fire to warm the place then shifted the few things she had of Raid's into one of the rooms in the far back of the cave. She finally moved over to the 'nest' of soft blankets and pillows and expanded it, did a bit of cleaning up then headed back out to the beach to wait for him. She sat on the sun-warmed sand of the beach with her tail curled around her feet and her wings tucked tightly to her back as she watched the water of the lagoon ebb and flow over the sands in front of her...

Cedric followed Sasha to the Crystal Island beach and spread out his wings to sunbask with her, wrapping his tail around her back legs playfully. "You ran off before you got the full story, he had more to show you. He isnt as bad as you made him out to be you know." Cedric yawns and flops his tongue out in the sun enjoying the heated feeling on his scales.

Sasha settled herself with a soft 'humph' over the subject of Michael as she curled up on the sand next to him to enjoy the sun with him, "He's a pompous and arrogant a** who had better take that warning back to the others..." she said simply, though she did relent a bit after a moment, "He's the only one I'll allow to land here. Though if any others try it... Well, I need stuffing for some new cushions..." she felt she could give in that much. She raised her head to look at him laying stretched out with his tongue hanging out and shook her head slightly before laying her head back down, "I told you this beach got the best sun..." she said in a softer tone, knowing he'd likely curl up around her once he soaked up enough warmth.

Cedric peeked open one eye and stretched his long body out before crawling over to entwine his tail and head around her body, laying his wings over top of her, yawning in sun bliss. "I couldnt tell what you thought of the thoughts he showed you? Surely something changed your mind about how I was raised?"
