This island is made up of tall mountains that the wind blows through constantly. Hard to reach by other dragons, those who control the winds live here in caves and on ledges where they feel safe and secure.

Aria flew through the Windswept Heights until she found a cave at the highest point and landed on the ledge before heading inside to look the place over. She found a two-room cave and pronounced herself satisfied with it before finally looking through the pouch her mother had given her. She found herself smiling over everything and settling it all on the one natural shelf in the second room.
She flew back to her parents cave and retrieved her things from her room there then returned to set up her new home. It took her hours to get everything to her satisfaction then found herself sitting out on her ledge as the wind moved through the peaks, making her smile as she looked over her new home.

Rina Drayga quietly padded along the slopes of Wind-Heights. The day before she had discvered a double cave she had taken an interest in. She had decided yesterday she would inspect it and decide whether it would be a good home. She was getting close and she chuffed a purr as a frigid wind swirled around her tigress body. She roared affectionately at the wind and purred when another wind swirled around her ruffling her fur like a lover would. She began walking again until she reached the ledge. As she did she discovered that another dragon was currently residing there. She chuffed a greeting and approached but left a litte distance just in case the dragon was not a friend. She scented the air and chuffed again discovering a familiar scent. This was family not a stranger and she flicked her tail, coming closer.

Aria frowned a bit when her home was invaded by a tiger, but the wind carried the scent and proved that the creature was more like her mother and sister, Karina, able to shift to a feline as well. She turned to face the creature fully but sat down and curled her tail around her feet as she tucked her wings close and considered the cat with pale blue eyes that seemed to shift a bit, much like the wind she controlled. "Well... Mother should find it interesting to meet you... She and Father thought all of their relatives gone but for one other. I guess you weren't there for the massacre on the mountain that Lao was, when it happened or you wouldn't be here," she mused softly, mainly to herself more than to the cat. She finally just gave a small shake to her head in her own version of a shrug and moved on, "Forgive me. I'm Aria, daughter to Lao-Shan Lung and Ebony ShadowScale. Welcome to the Isles of Draconia," she introduced herself simply and gave the cat a respectful nod before considering her again with a slight tilt of her head, "I do hope you can talk in that form as my mother and sister can. Otherwise this is going to be a very interesting conversation," she added, simply speaking her mind on it.

Rina tilted her head when the female asked if she could talk in her tigress form. However, she shook her head to show she could not before she turned to her dragon form. "Unfortunately I was never taught to speak in my feline form. As for my whereabouts during the massacre I was not yet born. My mother did not tell me of her where abouts however since I have been here my whole life I would assume she was perhaps here as well." Rina tilted her head and stretched out her wings widely her icey wings tinkling softly and shimmering in the light. WHen she retracted them she sat in a similar position to Aria. "My name is Rina Drayga." she stated calmly her onyx black claws shimmering against her white scales and calling attention to her cyan belly as a symbol of her Ice Element.

Aria simply gave another tilt of her head as she looked the female over in her dragon form and listened to her, "Interesting. And you're an ice dragon. Perhaps I should speak to my father about bringing up another island for them if more come here... But the heights will be cool enough for you, I would think. You're welcome to any place you care to claim. Though I would suggest avoiding the fire area. My brother would find it quite perfect but you'd wind up melting a bit, I'm afraid," she said softly. She really did speak whatever was on her mind when it popped in there but was never intentionally rude. Since she rarely spoke much anyway, it didn't seem to matter to others.

Rina nodded her head once. She was slightly smaller than normal dragons however her body was built for speed and aerodynamic fighting formations. She flicked her tail and nodded to the cave. "My apologies if I intruded. I saw that cave yesterday and wasn't aware it had an occupant. I wanted to explore it but as I said my apologies if I intruded."

Aria shook her head with a soft huff, "You aren't intruding. I found the cave just today and claimed it as my first home away from my parent's aerie. You're welcome to share it with me. It won't take much work between the two of us to add another chamber to it," she offered and glanced around at the place. It was still a bit bare, just a few things in it. But she'd brought in her bedding and created a nice soft nest for herself to one side and had the fire on the other, so there really was room for improvement, "I will admit that I'm not much for decorating. That was more Karina's forte, Mother as well. I just didn't seem to inherit that gene. Or the one for having a cat form. Karina got that as well. Still, none of us can seem to get upset with her over it, she's just too sweet for that," she rambled on a bit more, showing that she was just as unpredictable as the element she controlled.

Rina tilted her head in curiosity. "You make it seem like having a cat form is the best thing in the world Aria. To be honest its just another form that you have to take care of. The human and dragon forms are linked so you can stay human and be healthy and your dragon will remain healthy. But a feline is different. Your animalistic instincts have a larger pull on your mind making your emotions that much stronger. The feline isn't connected the way dragon and human is. Its a completely separate link. What happens to you in cat form affects you in both dragon and human form but yet the link isn't vice versa. You can take care of your human and your dragon and your feline will die. Or you can take care of your feline and both your human and your dragon will die. Like I said its very complicated." Rina explained to Aria as she preened her wings before inspecting them closely and folding them against her back agin.

Aria looked a bit shocked, "I never thought anything of the kind. Though, now that you mention it, you may have a slightly different kind of feline form than they do. Theirs seem to simply be alot easier. Maybe a different genetic track through the bloodline. I'll have to ask Sasha about that," she finished on a slightly distracted note then faced the female with a tilt of her head. "Well, since you'll be meeting either Karina or my mother soon anyway, what do you say to sharing the cave with me? You didn't really answer that one," she told her as she made her request. Truthfully, Aria tended to be a bit 'scattered' most of the time. One had to treat her along the lines of a book-worm or a good-hearted-scientist, the types that seemed to get lost in their work and said things completely at random with no apparent thought of what they were actually saying. Treat her along those lines and no one got offended. Say she was being rude and she'd say even more, digging the proverbial hole even deeper. She really couldn't help it and didn't mean to be rude...

Rina looked thoughtful then nodded to the dragon female. "You could be right." she laid down giving a large yawn, frost forming around her body as she settled against the ground. She looked a little startled when Aria brought the unanswered question up. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to be rude by not answering. I would be honored to share the cave with you. Though I don't really have many belongings. Just te clothes on my back and a few ice crystals I carry with me." Rina answer flicking her tail with gentle eyes.

Aria gave a small shrug over it all, "It's all the same to me. I didn't bring much here either. Just a few things from my parent's place. A bit of bedding, a few other things," she knew the place was a bit bare, but that could be fixed with a bit of work from the both of them. "Why don't you take the cave in the back and I'll stay in this one until we can dig an addition? I really don't mind at all," she offered, thinking that the female might want to make herself a colder place for sleeping and the second 'room' to the cave would provide the perfect spot for it.

Rina nodded as she rose and stretched her wings. As she did she brought then down in front of her, As she retracted them she appeared in human form looking around inspecting her surroundings with a trained eye.

Aria noted the shift and gave a small sound of appreciation to the way she'd done it then checked the fire with a look and brought in a light cool breeze to feed it as she dropped a few more logs on it just to keep it going. That done, she noted that she didn't have anything to eat here, "Tell you what. You settle in, I'll go collect dinner," she called out to her then moved out onto the ledge before taking off to hunt down something suitable for them to eat.

Rina poked her head out watching the female take off and gave a small smile before she calmly turned dragon. With a careful flick of her wings she sent three large ice missiles from the underside of her wings. As they crashed against the cave wall ice was sent kreening along the floor and wall before Rina began to dig into the ice. s she broke through the ice she began digging into rock occasionally freezing the rock to be easier on her claws. Finally she had a nice little hole. She silently curled up and fell into a light sleep in her dragon form.
