Ɇɍʉɑҏɦɑȡɩɵӣ
Eruaphadion stood out side the throne room doors his mother fretting over his coronation outfit.
Eruraviel made sure his armor shown and his cape was well placed. she spoke softly to her self as she picked dust of his shoulder. Eru took hold of her hands to stay them and he looked down at her. "All is well mother, stay your hands and look well now is the time of change..." he said and leaned down to his her forehead she placed her hand on his cheek and nodded. "yes my son, much has changed since you where young and we wondered in the mountains near the sea, now you stand tall and about to take the throne of your father...may it be blessed." she said.
Haldir stood near the main doors ready to open them at the signal. Haldir; was Eru's best friend and now commander of his personal bodyguards. he smiled and bowed to Eru and his mother. "may your rule be long my lord and king." he said as Eru's time to enter the throne room grew closer.
Eru could her Wren speaking and new his time had come he took his mothers hand in his and stood tall and regal ready to do all he could to save his kingdom and people. At the sound of the calling for Eru to steep for to claim his throne Haldir opened the doors. music sounded and the lines of elven warriors stood to attention there golden armor reflecting the light, Eru's dark armor stood in contract but downed them all in spender. Eru's purple aura stood strong and seen. most would caulk it up to kingly aura. the pair made there way down the way to the throne. standing tall and proud.
Eru hiding his rambling thoughts of everything he had to do, and remember. He steadily made his way down the red carpet towards the throne. He spotted friends and ambassadors that he had meet the days past. Crisdean the druid of the vampire realms, on behalf of sabbate. The leaders of the other elven clans representing there clans in there own dress and way as well lined the walk. Eru saw. Manwё His soon to be adviser and court doctor, standing with his wife the
He escorted his mother to a point to which she would separated and stood with Hirnaeranin High King of Gond Dolen, and Queen Elenwë of the The Elen-Gwaith. The kingdom of Elves they had came across in they're exile; the people had taken the baby Eru and his mother in and made them as there own family. At this point Eru stopped and bowed slightly and kissed his mother. She inturn curtseyed. "long live the king, and may the stars watch over you." she whispered, then turned and stood next to Elenwe. Both ladies smiled and nodded at there handy work. the two ladies now carried the banner of Eru's kingdom on poles. Eru's mother had made the perfect banner and crest for the new kingdom. Eru had not seen the banner and he was proud that his mother saw it fit to make a banner for the new kingdom to come and to show he had no connection with his father. As Eru made his way to the stairs the same crest that was on the banners appeared on his armor, and cape to the amazement of those in attendance to see. he stood tall and fair ready to become king.
He stood before the the stairs to the throne and faced Wren. "I Eruaphadion Son of Dûrion, and Eruraviel. Born of the Clan Ar-Sereg. Having been tested and found pure and by the rights of our land do now claim the throne, so that our people may be one." he said clear and ready to ascend the throne.
Wren bowed and gestured to the throne. Eru took a deep breath and began to ascend the stairs, with each step he knew he had much to do and to fill and heal in his new kingdom with each step he vowed he would heal the land and protect his people. with what seemed a eternity he stood before the throne he turned and faced his people he gave a small bow his mind going over his speech for after the crown had been placed. he wondered where was the crown he had first seen when he entered the throne room as a wolf under his family blood curse. he fidgeted with the gold ring wren had given him but stopped himself and with a sigh and prayer to the gods sat on the silver throne.

As he approached the throne, Wren gestured for him to be seated then placed one hand on his shoulder and closed her eyes. She worked this particular bit of magic openly, so that no one could claim that what happened next was false in any way.
Her magic swept through the room in a warm flow as she called for the castle to crown their new king. There was a brief pause as she removed her hand from him and knelt at his side with her head bowed. Then a soft glow appeared around the top of his head then fading as the crown appeared there, taking on the shape of a seemingly delicate piece, weaving itself through his hair naturally. While it appeared delicate, it was certainly a masculine piece and bore one diamond for each of the Elven clans, including one in the center that matched the ring she’d given him before. Other than the stones, the crown had a life of it's own and took on its shape as it would.
One by one, those in attendance were drawn to take a knee or simply kneel fully before him as Wren stood at his side once more, “I give you King Eruaphadion. May his reign be long and just. May he protect his people as they protect him. And let there be no doubt that he carries the heart of the Elves as his own,” she pronounced it clearly so that there would be no misunderstanding.
From here, she knew they would make the trip on horseback to the Tree, all of the court following in attendance to witness that event as well.

Eruaphadion as he sat felt the flow of deep magick as the land, peoples, and throne accepted him as king and so came his crown appearing above his head in a golden glow as it formed the crown shaped it self to its own will. taking on the shape of a seemingly delicate piece, weaving itself through his hair naturally. While it appeared delicate, it was certainly a masculine piece and bore one diamond for each of the Elven clans, including a single bright purple gem in the center. also in this center point a silver tree could be seen with the purple gem resting in the center of the tree. twin roses one white, one purple twisted there selves around the tree and twin wolves one black one white stood on ether side of the tree.
After all had bowed he stood and beckoned all to stand, he stood before his throne and prepared to address his people. he held one hand to his heart as if taking a oath, and his other faced the peoples. "Out of exile have I come. In this place I will abide, and my heirs, unto the ending of the world. I swear to rule with truth and justice. May the gods bless the land and bring us healing in this new age." he said clearly and then the procession down the long carpet to a waiting horse to bare him to the tree would fallow.
his mother stood with The Elen-Gwaith doing her best to hide her happy tears. as he neared her she again took her position with him and the line behind him formed. his mother and wren behind him then the representatives of there lands. its was a long line and all the while eru felt different and yet he could not put his figure on why. maybe it was just the since of responsibility now laid on him.

As Wren walked into the throne room, she felt her clothes changing, returning to the simple white tights, golden boots and tunic, she'd worn on the day she'd chosen Eru. Her hair braided itself back and her sword appeared at her side.
She continued to walk forward and saw what he expected to: the crown sitting on the seat of the throne, ready to be claimed.
She stopped right in front of the throne and bowed her head in silence, the familiar dark gray cloak of the silent Guardian appearing around her. After a moment, she drew her sword and turned to face the rest of the room, setting the point of the floor on the marble in front of her.
Around her, the castle kept everyone else asleep and waiting.
Throughout the entire realm, a single bell-like tone was heard. It marked the passing of a king and the readiness of the Guardian to choose another....
A few came. But they didn't pass the test. Instead, their armor lined the walls outside the gates of the castle and their ashes were returned to their families.
And still the Guardian waited...

Gloved hands rested on the tall doors that led into the throne room and with a small push, pushed the doors forward to open them. They swung open easily, allowing him entrance to the great room.
It was just as how he remembered it.
Grand and spacious, with its banners of all the clans hanging from the above rafters made him slightly smile.
When he was last here, it was with his mother and he was but a boy.
Then he saw movement and he saw the guardian near the throne itself.
She stood there dressed as she had been all those years ago and hadn't even aged.
He walked towards her and the throne.
This is where the tree told him to go with its map. He was going to try for the crown.
He stopped short of her and bowed, but never once took his eyes off of her as he had no idea how she would react.
"Lady guardian of the throne, I , Bowen Goldeneyes WindRider, ask for the trial of the Kings."
He stood there, hands on both pommels of his curved blades which were belted to his sides. Bowen hoped she would allow him to take the trial even if he was a returning elf and he was dressed as a poor pauper from a desert wasteland, far away from here.

Wren pushed back the hood of her cloak and raised her golden eyes to meet his, showing no fear of him at all even though he held her life in his hands right this moment.
"Your test is not over yet, Bowen WindRider. Tell me this: What is the true purpose of a king?" she asked him softly, her voice pure music to hear.
This was the test that so many had failed. She could not choose a monarch who answered this one question wrong.
Yes, their people needed a protector, someone strong who could see to their defense. But that was only one part of the job of a king, not the true purpose.
And she was desperately hoping that he would answer correctly.
For a king did not just rule over his people, or lead them, or even protect them. A true king knew that he was meant to serve his people, to see to their needs before his own, to see them all fed before he sits to feast, to see their children as his own and treat them just as lovingly, to see each daughters marriage as if it were his own daughter, to see each son's hopes for a future fulfilled as if they were his own, to mourn the passing of each of his people as if he'd known them their entire lives....
A true king was meant to love his people and serve them accordingly.
If Bowen didn't know the answer to her question, he would fail and die just like the others had...

Wren closed her eyes with a soft sigh and gave a small smile before raising her sword to him on her palms, "You pass the test, Bowen WindRider. I, Wren, Guardian of the King's Castle and King's Protector, choose you as our new king," she said softly.
All over the castle, the people were awakened from their slumber. Then another sound rang throughout the realm and in the hearts of every elf, a sound of joy and hope, a sound that announced to everyone that a king had been chosen....
