Cera didn't notice Leslie's arrival until it was a shade too late. Though it was easy to tell after the fact, her being stuck in place from the String Shot was enough cause for her to try and get back in there... if it wasn't for the several giving chase and attempting to do worse than put her in a cocoon.
Much as she tried to, she wasn't able to dodge the attacks in such close quarters, each one leaving her feeling more ill than the last as poison rapidly entered her body. It wasn't a feeling she liked at all, and now she was practically on borrowed time to boot. Even transforming, she feared, wouldn't be enough to neutralize the poison. Even if it was, the fact remained that she'd already been marked as a threat. Changing her form wasn't going to fool them, especially not in front of them.
She thought about trying that Will-O-Wisp again, but her mind was becoming foggy on just how to replicate it. She couldn't remember it as well as she was hoping, so the option was out. She could sorta remember how Galvantula was spinning that Electroweb earlier, however, though she doubted its effectiveness.
To her, it seemed similar to String Shot, except with electricity. It provided enough of a basis for her to try and mimic the move, but instead of getting anything resembling a web, the attempt came off more like a literal String Shot with some electricity running through it, and even then, barely enough to register as a jolt.
The results being less than desirable, she could only utter one response as she slowly tried to keep back. "Uh oh..."

Atlantis_Darts Darts, miffed at all of a sudden finding himself alone seeing as the Doc had seen fit not to acknowledge his presence at all, has decided to take matters into his own hands. As everyone should be aware, this is a very dangerous thing. The Giratina hybrid was keen to wipe out this infestation once and for all, and he knew just who to get to do it. "Oh Cold One..." The gambler says in a sing-songy tone as he raps on Blizzard's door. "I might need an early winter chill, come out come oooout...."
"I'm not in there." I said, coming down the hall from Darts. Accompanying me was Typhlosion and of all Pokemon, my Torchic. While I didn't care for the mass infestation, I might as well make good use of it and get Torchic learning how to battle better. "What do you need?"

Tristen peeked a little, trying to get a look at what was going on about him. A small Joltik here and there, sure...but then...something that made the boy's eyes go wide open. There was no way that a bug could get this size, he thought. Something straight out of a nightmare. The boy tried to hold back a wimper. All the horrors he faced before doesn't compare to the massive size and intimidation that was this Galvantula. |

Blizzard120 Tristen stiffened up as the electricity coursed through his body then he felt extremely relaxed. How could something like that feel so good... "Tingly..." The boy said. "Orderly, help hold that Galvantula down." The Doc said. Orderly rushed in to aid Sub to pin down the massive Galvantula and with Tristen absorbing the massive quantities of electricity for the moment, it was open opportunity. Anesthetics? Surely one jests in the presence of Doc. "Not a very kind Pokemon, are you? Now, sleep..." The Doc said, unleashing a hypnotic wave upon the Galvantula.
The Galvantula's protests were amplified as the four armed Fighting type helped hold it down but they too were in vain, it was caught. The Hypnosis would be more like a saving grace for the spider, it could now surrender to sweet embrace of sleep and cease all its pointless fighting.
"Whoo! Look at this whopper!" Sub cheered as he stood up on the sleeping spider and looked down at it. "Sucker could use my bones for toothpicks!" Sub cheered as he jumped down and walked over to Tristen. "You pack one mean Hypnosis, Doc. And as for you, Tristen, how you feeling?" |

Blizzard120 The boy sat up and looked up at Sub. "A lot better now." Tristen said. "I feel reeeal good." "Just don't let that power go to your head." Doc said. "What do you mean? How am I supposed to use Flash then?" he said. "Not...what I meant. My word, hasn't Blizzard taught you anything?" Tristen only tilted his head. Apparently figures of speech still escapes the boy.
"I'm going to make so much money selling this sucker! Never did I think one would grow this big when I released them on the mountain after we got back from Unova a few years ago." Sub said with a grin as he picked up the ball. |

"Seems to me we got a little infestation." Darts comments mildly, a mischevious grin hidden beneath his golden crest. "And it also seems like I need to break in these new ribs of mine. Care to join me in taking care of our little bug problem?" As he approaches Blizz, Darts pulls out a Pokeball of his own, tossing it up and down in his gilded grip casually. "I noticed your Torchic out and about, and couldn't help but surmise that you probably were interested in getting some of your younger Pokemon some battle experience. So, say we make a little wager?" He asks, cocking one red eye slightly as he shrugs a bit, his jacket swishing a bit in anticipation of a gamble. Can throw the man out of the casino, but you can't make him be careful with his money. Or something like that. |
