The Underground Path which helps connect Lavender Town to Celadon City has been taken over by a black clad mafia, the criminals charging trainers a fee to pass. Snagem's goal is to open the path back up to the public and find out exactly why they took over the path in the first place. Sub was waiting in Celadon City Pokemon Center for everyone else.

Though it took a bit, Keiko eventually appeared at the Celadon City Pokemon Center with an Eevee in her arms. "What's going on?" she asked pretty much right away, since Sub wasn't that hard to spot.

Allen appeared next, entering with Zest walking behind him. "Eyy." he said. Beck was in his Pokeball, busy resting. The young trainer didnt know what to do with him as of yet. He was owned by the enemy and now suddenly him. That wasn't suspicious at all. Not at all.

"Hello, Keiko, Allen." Sub said as he greeted the pair of Snagem members that followed after him. "Well, to make a long story short, that mafia-esque group we encountered here in Celadon before have now taken over the Underground Path and are charging trainers a fee to pass through. This wouldn't be too much of a problem since trainers could just pass through Saffron City, but there is a wave of fear that has spread through out Saffron City as trainers have been regularly mugged and their Pokemon stolen, so no one wants to go through Saffron City at the moment, thus, the Underground Path is vital unless they choose to travel all the way down to Fuchsia City to get around. As you see, this is a very inconvenient situation for trainers on their journey." He explained to them.
"We are going to go get that tunnel opened up to the public again and find out exactly who these goons are. I'm pretty sure they are connected to the rumors in Saffron City but we'll worry about that later, let's ride." Sub said as he walked out of the Pokemon Center.

"Celadon?" Keiko blurted out, instantly regretting not helping out with the last mission.
She kept her mouth shut and let Sub finish. Blocking tunnels? Stealing pokemon in bulk? Not cool.
Keiko nodded, ready to do what she could. She was also curious about the rumors, but that could wait.

Allen didn't bother mentioning the stealing Pokemon part. Snagem stole Pokemon all the time as it was. Heck, it was even in the name. He'd follow Sub, putting his goggles over his eyes. "Let's mess some thugs' day up then." he said, tapping Beck's Pokeball. Now he didn't need to worry about being a one Pokemon act. If Zest was knocked out, he had Beck to continue on.

Dropping out of midair and landing...less than gracefully on the ground, Leslie and Reno looked between each other with an odd glare coming form Reno and a cold stare from Leslie. "Looks like we just dropped in. But I guess we can go forward with all of this." Reno quipped with, picking himself off the ground and brushing himself off as Leslie did the same. The pair began to walk after Sub to hopefully keep up and figure out what part of Kanto was being invaded by these black wearing fools.

It was a short walk to the Underground Path's Route 8 entrance from the Celadon Pokemon Center. Sub would stand outside the entrance before waiting for the others to catch up, once he did he would begin to speak again. "Okay, inside this building is the stairs leading to the tunnel. There should be a guard in here demanding payment. If all of us went in together it would look odd. So instead, little vulnerable Keiko will go in alone and pay him off." Sub said, handing Keiko a wad of Pokedollars, way more than what was needed.
"See that window over there, Allen?" He said, pointing to the window on the side of the building. "When I give the signal, throw your Koffing in there and Smokescreen the place. Then, Reno, you have your Kadabra on you? If so, I want you to teleport that guard back out here. If Leslie has her Bulbasaur on him she can have him tied up and I'll interrogate him for information while the rest of you go into the Underground Path and see what else is going on down there. Everyone got their orders?" The leader asked. "If everything goes right, no one will get hurt and there will be no need to battle."

Keiko smiled. She had never really deceived anyone before, but she was sure she could pull off the innocent look. She took the pokedollars and stuffed them in her purse, making sure a few stuck out for effect, and made her way into the tunnel.
At first, she was walking into the darkness, as whoever was pulling this mess seemed to have the power off. It wasn't long, however, before powerful searchlights tried to burn a hole in their retinas.
"Stop right there!" a voice shouted out, the source of which Keiko couldn't make out from all the light.
"W-what? Who's there?" Keiko asked, making her voice sound more worried and afraid than she felt, which was the point.
She could hear some snickering in the distance, which told her that she was doing her job. Then, a dark silhouette stepped in front of the searchlights, making them slightly more tolerable.
"This road is closed. You're gonna have to pay a fee."
"Oh... I don't have much money, but..."
The man in front of her laughed, then forcibly took her purse form her. "This should be plenty."
Keiko took a step back, making the cutest little scared face she could muster, and reached behind her back to grab her SNAG so she could message...
...crap. Her SNAG is in her purse.

Fortunately GRAY was paying attention and heard it all threw the SNAG's mic so he relayed the information to Allen. "The money has been taken, now it's your turn to do something." He alerted the trainer.

"Beck, you know what to do." Allen said, throwing his Koffing inside the window. Then... nothing. Beck merely glared up the window at Allen. He had stolen him from Smarts and he expected obedience?! Heh, whatever. Luckily Zest jumped in to send the smokescreen.

The guard was dumbfounded as Koffing came in through the window, quickly darting a glare at Keiko after he spotted the Poison type. "What is this, some sad excuse of an ambush!?" He shouted at her, stomping towards her until the Magby came in and quickly filled the room with a thick black smoke. "I knew it! It's a trap! You'll pay for this!" He shouted, fumbling around, looking for his radio to alert his allies.
"Hey, money bags, it's your go." GRAY said to Reno.

"Good thing I'm paying attention." Lykas announced as he popped up with a black-clad thug tangled up in his tentacles, Mykel at his side. "I got your message a bit late but GRAY filled me in on the plan you had in motion before I Teleported here. Thankfully Mykel was able to track Keiko down and Teleport me to her location first." He looked around for Leslie after that, holding the struggling thug in his hair out towards her. "You're supposed to be subduing this guy for interrogation, right?" He asked, Once she'd released Bulbasaur and it had a decent grip on him, he'd remove his hair from the equation.
"By the way, Kaya's on the other end, trying to keep the guards there distracted enough that they won't be able to come running to help these guys for a while." He announced to Sub once his current payload was transferred.

Keiko was a bit surprised when Lykas and Kaya popped in. It was a real good thing that the guard dropped her purse when he was being drug out.
...okay, so she ripped it out of his grip. Details, etc.
With the added reinforcements that Kaya provided, Keiko was a little less worried about storming the place, so she began to do just that after beckoning Kaya to join her.

"Already done, rustbucket." Reno quipped as a flare of Celestial chi signaled Kadabra's arrival next to Reno, carrying the guard next to him before smacking the poor soul once on the head. Leslie would take advantage of the distraction to send Willow out to wrap the poor guard up in vines without another word. "Delivery, gift wrapped an everythin'." Reno flourished with his hand as he smirked, hoping that someone might actually laugh at that.
